Almost three months past our wedding and we are still having guests rave to us about how beautiful this venue was. My husband and I agree, and were equally so happy with all the support we received from Fireseed throughout the planning process. Their food is delicious. The day-of coordinating helped us feel so relaxed and be able to step back and really enjoy how special our day was. All of the staff were helpful and kind. We cannot recommend Fireseed enough!

Dave and Dawn are absolutely incredible to work with! Due to Covid, we changed our date … too many times. They were extremely helpful, flexible and understanding. I am so thankful we got to have our big day at Fireseed! Every detail was perfect and stress free. Our guests are still raving about the amazing food and cake! Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, but our day went so smoothly and nobody had to stress about any detail or timeline. I would absolutely recommend Fireseed to anybody! Staff was exceptional, food was incredible, scenery was stunning. Thank you endlessly, Dave and Dawn!

Fireseed Catering is an absolute dream venue and staff to work with! Our wedding was everything we wanted and more- the grounds are gorgeous (we heard it described as a 'fairytale' over and over), Dave is so responsive and helpful during planning, Anna and Dawn run the day-of perfectly, and the food was the best I've had at any wedding! It's amazing that you get the venue for the whole weekend too- it makes it so easy to decorate on Friday, have everything you need at the venue on Saturday (hair and makeup, photography, etc), and then clean up only your own items on Sunday. I can't recommend Fireseed enough!

If I could give Fireseed more than five stars I would. We had a really difficult wedding planning process because of the pandemic but Fireseed was so incredibly easy to work with. They have the process locked in in a way that makes it super easy to customize and have the wedding of your dreams without forgetting a single detail. There were so many things I didn't think about to think about that Fireseed was ON. The venue itself is BREATHTAKING but the #1 reason to book this venue IMO is the FOOD. It is delicious and prepared with such love. Everything about the menu is totally customizable and if Dave and Dawn can't produce what you want they are great at coming up with an alternative. One thing I'm sure you hear from couples is they did not have a chance to eat at their wedding. This is not true with Fireseed! They ensure the staff is taking care of you all night. As you sign your marriage certificate they bring you apps and cocktails and at the end of the night they send you home with to go boxes. YES TO GO BOXES. If Fireseed is available for your date BOOK IT NOW!!!

My husband and I could not have picked a better venue for our wedding. Fireseed had it all! From the moment we stepped out of the car we were overcome by the beauty of the place. Dave and Dawn had excellent communication throughout our planning process. We had to change our date due to the pandemic and they were so gracious and helpful. They have a day of coordinator, and it made the day go by so smoothly, she helped us with all the little things like putting up our signs and cleaning up the bridal suite. Dave cooked the most memorable meal, and we still have guests to this day commenting on how delicious our wedding food was. We went with family style and the servings were very generous and the staff so friendly and helpful. Dawn baked a massive and delicious cake, following our desired design incredibly. I relive our wedding day over and over again in my mind and memories and every time I remember something else that was so special, thanks to Fireseed. The miniature horses, the manicured paths, the swing under the oak tree, the stunning gardens. It is also worth noting that Fireseed only hosts one wedding per weekend, this makes the set up/take down process so relaxing and stress free. We showed up Friday and took our time setting up, the rentals were already there and the coordinator helped us so much. The morning after our wedding we felt no rush to pack up and get out, we took our time loading up the cars, taking one last walk through the gardens. Overall 10/10 rating for this unbelievable venue. Your guests will be talking about it for the rest of their lives!

Dave and Dawn and the whole Fireseed team helped us bring our dream wedding to life. I can't imagine having worked with a more responsive, accommodating, and reassuring team when we had to delay our wedding by a year due to COVID. From coordinating rentals, vendors, and the day of run of show, Fireseed does an amazing job to make planning a wedding with them seamless and fun. On our actual wedding day, they handled all of the details so all we had to do was enjoy our day. There are so many things that make Fireseed special, but here are a few things that really stand out: 1. The venue itself is STUNNING. The grounds are covered in flower and vegetable gardens. If you want to show off PNW beauty, this is your place. Our guests had so much fun exploring. The barn where we held the reception is also gorgeous, and we really like that it had a separate lounge and bar area where our guests could sit and chat away from the dancing. I really cannot emphasize enough just how beautiful Fireseed is. 2. You will not find better food than at Fireseed. Dave and Dawn are professionally trained chefs, and everything from the passed hor d'oeuvres to pies were to die for. Most of the produce is grown locally on site, so everything is super fresh. Do not miss out on the ice cream sandwiches! 3. The staff provided outstanding service. Our day of coordinator Anna was so on top of every detail and made us feel so special. They took all of the stress out of the day so that we could just enjoy ourselves and take it all in. 4. Dave and Dawn! They are so easy and fun to work with. All of our vendors also love working with them and were very excited to be able to return for our wedding. They helped keep us organized and on track with planning and went out of their way accommodate last minute changes. We truly cannot thank them enough for helping us pull off a dream wedding we thought might never happen due to COVID. Fireseed is a truly special place, and we are now on a mission to convince all of our friends to get married there so we have an excuse to go back!

This was the most perfect venue we could have ever asked for. Dave made all the planning so seamless and stress-free, even after having to delay our wedding a year due to COVID. Dawn runs the day-of really professionally and efficiently, so it really feels like all you have to do is show up and enjoy. The grounds are so gorgeous and the food is amazing! Our guests said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding! Looking back at our photos reminds me of what a fairytale it all was. I can't recommend this venue enough!!

We had the best experience working with Fireseed. It is such a hidden gem! I feel like if all Seattleites knew this place existed, it would be booked for years out. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID by one year. Fireseed was so accommodating and was able to get us rescheduled right away with no added expense. Dave was so great at checking-in and handling all the small details related to planning, that it made it easier for us to coordinate and work through the process. We were in a situation of "we don't know what we don't know", but Dave helped us figure it all out. Dawn handled all of the day-of coordination and was so professional and organized. Working with both of them was like having a built-in wedding planner without the added expense. They took care of set-up, take-down, rentals, etc. Since they only host one wedding per weekend, we were their sole focus and it gave us a lot of breathing room (we could bring stuff the day before and pick stuff up the day after). We didn't even have to think of all of it and it helped the whole weekend feel less stressful. The food was amazing and anytime I mention the wedding to any of our guests, all they say is "that cake was amazing! can we get more?" The property itself was so so beautiful. We got so many amazing pictures, people on social media have been flabbergasted by how nice the property is and the pictures. There are lots of opportunities here. Finally, the price was so incredibly reasonable. While it is customized for the type of food you want, we felt really satisfied with the pricing. Would 100% recommend for everyone! Fireseed helped our dream wedding come true!

As the groom I did not expect to write a review. Dave and Dawn at Fireseed are amazing. When planning a wedding things can get stressful, Dave is calm, collected, super responsive and very helpful with any questions you might have. Dawn helped during the rehearsal and day of the wedding, she helped us look polished and stay organized without being overbearing. The FOOD is amazing, as a big food family we loved their cuisine. The venue is gorgeous. As a business owner myself I can't say enough about this venue and the couple that run it.

Having our wedding at Fireseed was a truly incredible experience. We felt so cared for by Dawn and Dave and staff. The food was INCREDIBLE and they catered to some dietary restrictions with such ease. The venue was immaculate and the service was perfect. My husband and I left feeling like Dawn and Dave felt like part of our family after the event. I couldn't recommend this venue more.

Our wedding at Fireseed was absolutely incredible, and I owe so much of it to the expertise of Dawn and Dave Noble, the owners and caterers. First things first, the venue feels intimate, since there is no one else there apart from your guests and the staff, and the gardens are gorgeous. We wanted our guests, many of whom were coming from out of town, to experience the unique beauty of the PNW, and Fireseed was a wonderful way to showcase this. Also, you have access to the venue starting from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning, giving you plenty of time to set things up and pack everything up before and after the wedding. Dave handles most of the email communication leading up to the wedding, and he is so prompt with his replies. No matter how many questions I sent to him, I would have a response from him by the end of the day at the latest, and sometimes within the hour. It alleviated a lot of wedding stress to have Dave coordinate the party rentals, since I didn't really have any idea how many tables, glasses, plates, etc. to order for the amount of guests we had, whereas Dave has experience in this and knows how many to order. At our tasting, despite having my parents there with me along with my fiancé, Dave spoke directly to me and made sure that the food was what I wanted, despite the other voices in the room. Initially, we thought we wanted to have a casual rehearsal dinner at one of the big houses we rented for the wedding party, but the owner of the house said we couldn't have more than 14 people on the property. When I mentioned this to Dave, he said, "Oh, I've catered an event at that house for 60 people before and know the owners! Let me talk to them and see if we can work something out." Sure enough, Dave emailed me a few days later and said that the house would make an exception for our rehearsal dinner! While we ultimately went another route and had our rehearsal dinner at a local restaurant, the fact that Dave was able to arrange that option for us shows how above and beyond he is willing to go for his clients. Dawn is so on top of coordinating the rehearsal the day before, and the day of the wedding she is a force to be reckoned with (in the best way). She kept everything running super smoothly and was able to wrangle our large wedding party into listening and following instructions. I felt like I didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding because I could trust Dawn to take care of any issues or answer any questions that came up. Lastly, the food and service was incredible. Many people commented on how it was such a delicious meal, and many said that the cake was one of the best they had at a wedding. Dave was very flexible with creating the menu and was able to create my specific requests, and had plenty of suggestions of his own when I didn't know what to choose. The servers were kind and helped me have the best time at our wedding -- one saved me one of the specialty cocktails before they ran out so I could have a chance to enjoy one. Overall, I contribute the smoothness of our wedding day pretty much all to Dave, Dawn, and the staff at Fireseed. Everything was wonderful and I can say it was the best day of my life. Thank you so much to them. I cant recommend Fireseed highly enough!

My husband and I visited Fireseed and knew right away we wanted to book our summer wedding there. The gardens are stunning and extremely well maintained. Dave and Dawn(the owners) were great at keeping us on track and extremely responsive to all of our questions along the way. The vendor list they provided was also super helpful. Dave runs the kitchen and Dawn acts as day-of-coordinator and makes the desserts. The day went off seamlessly, Dawn had everyone in their places and was great to work with. Our guests raved about the food and the ice cream sandwiches, everyone is saying it's the best wedding food they have ever had. We can't recommend this place enough!

From the moment we saw Fireseed we fell in love with it. If it’s not clear from the other reviews, the owners Dave and Dawn are seriously wonderful people who do everything possible to make sure the wedding process is smooth. The landscaping, barn, bar areas etc. are perfect. I can’t keep track of how many people have told us how incredible the food was. Everything about Fireseed is top of the line, so so happy we chose them for our wedding and would get married 10 more times if we could just to work with them again and enjoy the beauty of Fireseed!

Fireseed was the second venue we checked out and we locked it down very quickly. Dave was so calm and helpful throughout the process. He was always very responsive and directed us to existing resources or vendors he had worked with and trusted. This made the whole planning process much smoother. We met Dawn close to the wedding for a walk through - she is super on top of it, calm, and clear, the exact personality type you’d like ensuring your wedding day goes smoothly. The spot is absolutely beautiful - a treasure to explore. And al the food was delicious. We wish we could relive the day over and over. Thank you Dave and Dawn!!!

Fireseed is such a beautiful venue. We were greeted with kindness and respect the from the first visit all the way to the day after with clean up. Dave and Dawn are amazing at what they do! Their appetizers, dinner, and desserts were all our guests could talk about after the wedding, especially the ice cream sandwiches. Dave was amazing to work with leading up to the wedding and was always in communication with us. When it came to rehearsal, Dawn made sure we were prepared for both an outside and inside ceremony depending on weather. She made sure everyone knew exactly what to do, where to stand, what to say, etc. On the day of the wedding, Dawn was right there to make sure we stayed on time prior to the wedding and gave us warning times for when things were about to happen and directed us where to go at that time. Dave and Dawn really make you feel like part of their family, not to mention their staff are enjoyable and willing to go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. We are so glad we had the opportunity to meet such amazing people and have the dream wedding we had hoped for. Thank you both for everything you do!

My fiance (now husband) and I took one look at this venue and just knew it was the one! We met Dave for the initial visit and within minutes of talking to him, we knew we had to book the place for our wedding. The location was perfect, the scenery was unbelievable beautiful, the tasting menu was delicious and the overall vibe was exactly what we wanted. We never even looked at any other venues--we just booked this one and felt entirely at peace with our decision! Throughout the months leading up to our wedding, Dave was beyond helpful, answered all of our questions, gave us tips, and overall provided us with prompt responses in a low stress and very chill vibe. We met Dawn the day before the wedding and she was also a delight to work with--and she makes the BEST pies!! Dawn seamlessly took over the day of planning the night before the wedding and I was so grateful to have someone who could direct our wedding day with such relaxed professionalism! Dave and Dawn were a dream to work with! A few other things I need to say (albeit a little late!), the food was the best wedding food I've ever had. The pies were DELISH. The catering staff was unbelievably attentive. The venue was clean, cozy, and overall perfect. AND, to top it off we had the venue for 3 days, which is unheard of and it was a game changer (Friday for prep, set up and rehearsal; Saturday for the big day and tons of fun; Sunday for clean up!) So, I want to thank Dave and Dawn for helping us out and being so thoughtful and attentive venue hosts--we are so thankful!!

We would recommend Fireseed to anyone! Fireseed coordinated our rentals, servers, most of our set up and clean up, food and dessert! Dave and Dawn provided amazing recommendations when asked, but also made sure to emphasize that it was our day and we were free to make almost any decision we wanted. Having so many parts of our wedding coordinated by Fireseed allowed us not to have to worry about how things would come together—wedding planning is what they do all the time, and they are fabulous at it. We were completely stress-free on our wedding day thanks to Dave and Dawn. I can’t say enough positive things about them!

Not only is the venue itself beautiful (with all different kinds of backdrops from a lush garden to a huge willow tree to a pond overlook to a beautiful barn), the staff was wonderful and owners Dave and Dawn were always helpful, never pushy, and very professional. Our day went off without a hitch thanks in large part to their incredible orchestration. They truly have it down to a science and we didn't have to worry about a thing and could focus on our guests and having fun. Oh, and the fried chicken was amazing. :-)

Where to start about Fireseed...there are so many amazing things to say about this beautiful venue and, well, it all starts with Dave and Dawn. These two have wedding planning down to a science and as a bonus, they are wonderful people! Throughout the wedding planning process I received lots of advice to hire a wedding coordinator, "especially for the week of" (friends said). Even I'll admit there were times I questioned my decision to go it alone, but really, I wasn't alone, I had Dave. The best way to describe his support is, reassuring. No matter how big or small the question or issue, he had great advice or the perfect solution and always responded promptly (typically the same day and often within an hour). Not only do they coordinate the rentals, run all the catering, let you bring your own alcohol (huge $ saver!), do all the day-of coordinating & give you 3 DAYS of venue access (!!), they have an incredible network of referrals for anything you could need. Everything I expected went smoothly and everything I didn't expect went equally smooth because he had thought of it or handled it for me. Speaking of catering, the FOOD! It is the best, hands down. And that is coming from picky Seattle foodies...it is beautiful, creative and so delicious...just ask our guests! And Dawn...she was my saving grace on the big day. The day of is such a blur but all I know is she not only kept the whole show on schedule, she did it with a smile and made sure we were sheltered from any hiccups and that we were happy. We don’t even know where to begin with our praise for Fireseed (and, specifically, Dave and Dawn). We were having trouble finding wedding venues we liked in Seattle, and decided to branch out a bit. I visited Fireseed without my then fiancé, as he was busy that day. It was a rainy, dreary, Seattle day, and, despite being a Pacific Northwest native, I am not a huge fan of the rain. From the moment I arrived, I knew that it was our venue, and knew that my fiancé would love it as much as I did (which proved true). Fireseed is such a quintessential Pacific Northwest venue, and has a little bit of everything—beautiful, immaculately maintained gardens, an organic vegetable garden, a lake view, a forest area with large pine trees, and a tastefully decorated barn that does not feel like any other barn! The grounds alone would have been reason enough to have our wedding there, but then we learned that Dave and Dawn are Culinary Institute of America graduates, and make THE most delicious food in the universe. Throughout the year of planning, Dave and Dawn were incredibly responsive and helpful, and are endlessly knowledgeable about every single planning logistic you can think of. On our wedding day, things ran absolutely perfectly, despite the rain that fell and then stopped about 5 minutes before the ceremony. Dave and Dawn took the rain in stride (and had endless umbrellas for guests), and were respectful of our desire to have the ceremony outdoors, despite the downpour that was occurring when they asked us our preference. The food was some of the best we have EVER had, hands down, and it was wedding food for 150 people, to boot. The fried chicken (we opted for a Southern menu, as we are currently living in Tennessee) truly was to die for. The desserts, made by Dawn, were also incredible—so much so that on our 2-month anniversary we decided to buck tradition and have a slice of our wedding cake! We could go on and on with endless praise for Dave, Dawn, their food, their venue, and them as people. We would recommend this venue in a heartbeat to all of our friends, and to anyone wanting a quintessential Pacific Northwest wedding with grounds, food, and service guests will remember for the rest of their lives.

We cannot say enough about Fireseed! Dave is the most amazing communicator - we would literally get responses to our email questions within five minutes most of the time, setting a VERY high bar for our other vendors! Although we didn't meet Dawn until the rehearsal which had me a little bit worried initially, she had everything ready to go and organized beyond belief. We did not have a wedding planner or day of coordinator and, if you use this venue, not having either is fine because their team is so amazing! Their flexibility and willingness to make your day what you want is incredible. We have had multiple guests comment on how the food at our wedding was the best wedding food they have ever had, so that is another perk of using Fireseed. Their entire team was very professional and we were quite impressed with their serving staff. We would recommend them to anyone!

Impeccable, stunning, seamless, perfect are just a few words to describe our dream of a wedding at fireseed last weekend. We had guests constantly coming up to us saying it was one of the best weddings they had been to. People complimented the food, the beauty of the venue, and the seamless transitions from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to dinner, to dancing. Dawns coordination was flawless and she was so tuned in to me throughout the entire evening. Dave worked tirelessly on a high end menu for my vegan husband (no easy feat!) and was always so quick to respond to my questions and requests. Fireseed is an absolute dream and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I can not stress how utterly perfect the day was and how easy and enjoyable they made the wedding experience for us as the bride and groom and for our guests! They took care of everything. Thank you Dawn and Dave.

I absolutely cannot find the words to more highly recommend Fireseed Catering! Dave and Dawn Noble have hands-down the best operation in Washington State for beautiful, rustic, Northwest wedding ceremonies and receptions. We felt welcomed from the moment we first set foot on the property, to our visits even after our wedding. With sprawling grounds, tall evergreens everywhere, an immaculately maintained garden, a boardwalk onto a private lake, a permanent game area, and lots of room for guests to explore, we couldn't compare any other venue to Fireseed after we visited. The reception hall is also incredible with room for dinner and dancing, a beautiful bar area, as well as getting-ready suites for both the bride and groom. They have a stellar kitchen, wait staff, and bartenders, and they'll work with you to create a one-of-a-kind menu for your special day. This was important to us as we had some specific menu items that they made just for us - including all of our desserts and our wedding cake! They handle all of the rentals, set up and tear down of the tables, chairs, linens, and serve ware, which was a huge help. All we had to do was decorate the day before the wedding! What's more is that they devote an entire week to each event, so there's no worrying about stepping on the toes of events that might be scheduled the day before or after yours. We were able to visit the venue in the days leading up to the wedding, decorate, and hold our rehearsal there, and then even come back the morning after the wedding to finish cleaning up. You truly feel special, unique, and cared for by Dave and Dawn. Dave was available to us constantly for our drop-in visits, to a quick question about the menu, and he helped us create the perfect meal to serve to our guests. Dawn also acts not only as the pastry chef, but also as your wedding rehearsal expert and day-of coordinator to help the event move along on schedule. This was immensely helpful for helping keep us all organized during both the ceremony and reception. I cannot speak more highly of this venue -- they're simply amazing! If you're looking for a beautiful, natural setting for your wedding, with tons of support along the way, Dave and Dawn Noble at Fireseed is the place to go! I would get married there 100 times again - everything went so smoothly and perfectly thanks to all of their hard work. Thank you, Fireseed!

I literally do not have enough good things to say about Dave and Dawn at Fireseed Catering. The venue is beyond amazing. The grounds are so incredibly gorgeous, with all of the flowers, the gardens, and the lake. They have everything there to ensure your guests have a good time, including an outdoor bar, a playground for kids, and an area for lawn games. There's seating everywhere. It's just so so pretty. Dave was so amazing during the whole planning process. He's so knowledgeable and helpful. He was so communicative (it never took him long to respond to an email). On the day of the wedding Dawn really ran the show. She was on top of everything. I don't know what I would have done without her. She was amazing. I didn't have to worry about a thing, cuz she took care of it. Even the staff was kind, sweet, and so much fun. They were also on top of everything. So many of my guests complimented the staff and the venue after the wedding. They said every time they needed a drink or something it seemed like they'd turn around there one of the staff members would be with one already ready for them. It meant so much to me that my guests had such a good time. And the food!!! Oh my gosh! It was so delicious!!! We did the salmon and the beef with the dessert assortment, and it was amazing. So many compliments from our guests on the food as well. You just couldn't get a better venue. This place is everything you could possibly want in a wedding venue. Book them. Book them now. You won't regret it. My wedding day was perfect and I owe it all to Dave and Dawn.

I cannot be more pleasured and thankful for having Fireseed Catering. They made our wedding the most beautiful, elegantly simple, smooth, and delicious day. From the beginning, Dave was so calm, helpful, and efficient in helping us create our dream wedding. The menu, rentals, and structure to the wedding was all taken care of by Dave and his wife, Dawn. He and Dawn were so quick to respond to any email I had. Dave's food was absolutely amazing and Dawn's baking was just as spectacular. Dawn also took the reigns in coordinating the day before and of. She was so calm, caring, and clear about what needed to be done to have everything run smoothly! In addition to those two being amazing, their staff was also the best, I loved everyone that helped with the day! We are so grateful. It is/ was worth EVERY penny.

They make the entire planning process easy and effortless so you can focus on the big picture---they manage the catering, rentals and day-of coordination for you, and offer expert advice about vendors, logistics and every other aspect of your event. We did not hire a wedding planner, so Dave and Dawn answered hundreds of questions from me, always responding to my emails and phone calls within minutes. I don't know how they do it! The day of our wedding I was completely at ease knowing Dave and Dawn had every detail taken care of. And if all of this isn't enough to sell you, the food is the highlight of the whole experience. The vegetables are grown onsite, and everything is homemade, gourmet and presented beautifully. I am still receiving compliments from my guests about how delicious the food was, and how flawless the day went. This venue wins my highest praises in every single category!

An unbelievably beautiful and perfect place for a wedding! The owners are amazing and so helpful and easy going. So many people at the wedding told me they had never even seen a venue like it and couldn't get over how beautiful it was. The owners do all of the food and oh my goodness it was DELICIOUS! Everything about Fireseed is amazing. They blew us away!

From start to finish our experience getting married at Fireseed Estate on Whidbey Island was wonderful. Proprietors Dave and Dawn are as hands-on as you need, in our case we did not have a wedding planner and they provided tremendous guidance and insight throughout our year of planning. They ensured that all logistics were prepared for and executed seamlessly and flagged any details we may have overlooked. By managing food preparation and rentals they make the day manageable without being remotely cookie-cutter, a rare balance when it comes to wedding venues. The property itself could not be more gorgeous. A true Northwest estate, it offers an on-site organic garden, striking flower beds, poplar trees and a lake in the background. A stunning backdrop for guests and photography! Friends and family are still raving about the food, all seasonally selected and prepared in their on-site kitchen, there is no dry chicken or well done steak here. Their buttermilk fried chicken is the best my husband and I have ever tasted. Prompt on email or phone and 100% dialed-in on site, it is clear Dave and Dawn are experts at what they do and I could not recommend them as a team and Fireseed as a venue more wholeheartedly. It was the perfect day, morning showers and all.
