g I’d spent 8 months on planning and wouldn’t even have our special day captured on video for us to look back on and share with our kids. I found Jeffrey through this app, reached out and he called right away-was so helpful explaining every package option and answering all my annoying questions. Thankfully he was available at the last minute (since we had a Sunday wedding, I assume) and he was punctual, kind, and professional. I’m so grateful to have found him! His prices are also VERY reasonable as I compared them with several other sites that were recommended by our wedding photog and what they were asking was outrageous. e to time to relive the day. We didn't want a short "highlight" video, but rather something that would incorporate all of the ceremony and the important parts of the reception. We originally looked for vendors offering unedited raw footage only, which is how we came upon First Choice Videos. After a phone call with Jeff, during which we discussed the pros and cons of raw footage vs. edited video, we realized that his package with ~2 hours of edited video, including the entire ceremony and reception highlights, would be a perfect fit for our needs as well as our budget (unlike most other videographers in the area). Since we live in a different state from where we held our wedding, we didn't meet Jeff in person until the day of the wedding, but he was always very quick to respond to our emails, and we had a phone conversation a few weeks beforehand to go over the schedule for the day and let him know what special elements we were planning so he would be prepared to film them. On the day of the wedding, we almost didn't notice Jeff and his cameras, as he was masterfully discrete, but the video we received about seven weeks later proved that he was most definitely in attendance! The sound quality from the mikes he put on the officiant and the groom during the ceremony was excellent despite the fact that it was outdoors, and the different vantage points from multiple cameras provided a full view of the scene. We are extremely grateful to have a full, edited recording of our ceremony and edited highlights from the reception and will enjoy rewatching the events of the day for years to come.

e was too pricy for us, but we opted for the raw footage package. The majority of the footage was awesome and he got some really great shots of the ceremony and reception. I would definitely recommend First Choice Videos to anyone who needs an affordable videographer!

ere to film everything, he was easy to work with and when we met up to go over our film package he seemed very eager to help us out. My husband and i cant wait to see our footage in a couple of days! He was helpful with tips and ideas for how to pose or what to do while he was filming so i have no doubt that our footage will be nothing but outstanding! my groom had no idea that moment would be captured on video too! Our wedding video was my wedding gift to him. First Choice Videos was a wonderful accomplice in executing a great surprise and moment that we can relive forever. Early on in our wedding planning stages we had to forgo the idea of a videographer due to budget. When I reached out to Jeff he was very understanding and worked with me and kept my personal budget in mind. He has great suggestions and is very flexible with scheduling. Jeff was able to pick up and run with any idea you must have for your special day. He is a blast to have at your wedding!

a lot of experience with quinceañeras, and Jeffrey was no exception. He was honest with us from the beginning but upon meeting him, we were very impressed. Jeffrey had done his quince homework and was able to tell us everything he could capture. His sample videos and his professional and caring demeanor made it very easy for us to choose him. Our highlight video and dvd was so beautifully done and is something that we will always have to look back on. We are beyond pleased with our first choice!!

well worth it! The sound quality was really good. We could hear everything from the vows during the ceremony all the way through to the music at the reception very clearly. It is great to have the dance songs that we so carefully picked out captured on our DVD! I also liked that we didn't even know that he was there until he came up to us at the end of the night to say goodbye. He did an excellent job of capturing all the moments, but being totally inconspicuous while doing it so that we didn't even notice him! And the turnaround time to deliver the video was excellent! We got it way sooner than we expected too! The only downside we had with him was a little confusion about the coverage, which is just as much our fault for not clarifying the point. We didn't realize that we were buying a block of time, so we ran a little short due to the break between the ceremony and the reception, but Jeffrey was very accommodating for us. We would certainly recommend working with Jeffrey for your future events!

I am so grateful in the end that we have a video keepsake of our wedding and couldn't have asked for better quality. Especially with a price that fit into our budget! I can't recommend enough the highlight video option - its perfect for sharing all the main points of the wedding and reception in about 10 minutes with friends and loved ones, rather than spending 2 hours watching an entire DVD. Everyone loved the highlight video, and it brought us right back to our day. Highly recommend.

ans! Jeff was phenomenal in capturing both the most important moments of our wedding, and the little moments that we later appreciated so much, when seeing the final product. He has a keen ability to capture your wedding in the way it was meant to be captured. We had a pretty A-type personality wedding (yes, I'm to blame for that) and Jeff went along with the mood of it amazingly. I ended up playing the saxophone, rolling on the ground, humping the air, as two of my groomsmen stripped down to their underwear, dancing in front of 250 dropped jaws. We'll leave the details there, but because of Jeff, I'll be able to show my grandkids how awesome their grandpa once was! Don't you dare judge me. :) Without sounding corny, I'm glad we hired Jeff, because I'll have that video to cherish for a long time (not just the saxophone playing part). Jeff made sure, despite the fact that he was busy, to get our DVDs to us on time. His editing was flawless and the lighting was great. Words of advice. Don't be a fool and hire anyone BUT First Choice Videos. They offer the best value for your money. Best bang for your buck. First Choice, I feel like I got WAY more than I paid for! Jeffrey captured some truly awesome moments (ones even our 2 photographers missed!) and we are SO THANKFUL we hired him. He is timely, professional, and talented. Before the wedding, he was always flexible and rapid in email correspondence/logistics/etc and the day of the wedding, we hardly noticed him or his cameras (he uses one on in a fixed place and another that he controls) even though he managed to capture it all! The footage and sound is GREAT -- the HD video at this price point is a real advantage over other vendors. The turn around on getting the DVDs was fast and he was very conscientious in checking with us on our feedback regarding the final product. So hire him. Now. In the "budget-friendly" range of videographers, he has to be the best. My ONLY regret is that we didn't spring for the highlight video! After seeing what a great job he did with the full length video, I would have loved to see the highlight reel :)

full video by categories so you can go to any chapter you want. The dvd is VERY professional down to the personalized case. He went the extra mile. I strongly recommend using the mics for the ceremony like he suggested to me. It allowed him to capture the vows perfectly and he put that audio in the highlight which made it even more special. I recommend First Choice Video for your special day!

studied film and has done other projects that were not all wedding ones. We were happy about this because we knew he wouldn't do one of those cheesy wedding videos with lame early 90s graphics. Since we are from New York, we weren't able to meet with him, but we were able to talk over the phone and correspond via email. He was always very helpful so we knew made the right choice. He is a modern, fresh and professional videographer with multiple equipment that captures every special moment as if 3 videographers filmed it. He captured everything we asked for and more! He worked alone and was never obstructive. I hardly even saw him! So when I saw the highlight video, I was shocked that he captured so many details and wonderful moments of our wedding! He films with confidence from a distance and is a true artist with his angles! You can tell he isn't one of those people who just decided one day to pick up a camera, film a wedding, call themselves a videographer and try to make some money from it.... he truly has the eye for it and the skills! The way he edited our highlight video was AWESOME! It was emotional ( but not cheesy), fun, funny, creative with great cinematography! He is also very reasonable priced .. probably because he is a newbie in the New Orleans wedding industry. He just moved his business from Ohio. I guarantee once he gets more exposure, his prices will go up because he isn't just a videographer but a true artist and professional at his craft! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer in New Orleans!
