First Class Catering

I was very impressed with First Class Catering for my daughter's wedding! Their food was delicious, I heard so many compliments. The bride and groom selected them after having a very positive experience at another wedding they attended, and they did not disappoint us at ours! When we had inclement weather disrupt our schedule of events, First Class Catering was quick to pivot and handled the shift with great professionalism and flexibility.

You can not go wrong with this caterer! Their responsiveness to questions has been amazing and our guests kept coming to us after the meal telling us how good it was (we did the taco buffet)! Although it may seem pricey, you are going to get the quality and professionalism that is necessary to make sure your event goes without a hitch.

The food and customer service is amazing. We had a minor mishap that was fully our fault for not reading through menu options properly, but overall the staff was polite and professional; they did everything they could to resolve our blunder! The food was just as delicious as it was when we tasted it fresh from the kitchen. The spinach and artichoke cups in particular disappeared as soon as they were walked out - a monumental hit! They have a vast variety of dietary options and easily catered to very specific allergies in our party. We could not have asked for better wedding caterers in the area, and definitely recommend their services!

This venue cost us over $7000. Communication is difficult. Do not recommend, one of our servers was high, meatballs were frozen. Have emailed company, they aren’t worried.

We hired First Class to do our daughter’s wedding. While set up was good, the meatballs on our pasta bar were frozen!! I’ve emailed the company, but they aren’t worried about it. I would recommend definitely going with another company, communication is definitely lacking.

We hired First class for our daughter’s wedding. We did the pasta bar, which is what our daughter wanted. Our main concern was time frame, since we had 175 guests, First Class assured us that they would have plenty of servers, probably 4-5 for that amount of people. Fast forward to the wedding, they showed up with 2 people heating everything up and guests complaining that one smelled and acted high. Unfortunately, it took over 2 hours to serve our guests, which messed up photography and other things. While they did set up before and did great, I would not recommend! Communication is a hassle with this company! I actually emailed after the wedding to let them know that one of their employees was high, have yet to hear back!

While they were great about the linens and china, they definitely were lacking in the quality of their food. We had several complaints about frozen meatballs and servers that were high. Our venue required that we used one of their options, honestly wouldn’t have chosen first class catering. Had better service with other vendors in past times.

I had high hopes when I hired First Class Catering for my wedding, but sadly, what was supposed to be a seamless and delightful experience turned out to be a letdown. Initially, I was excited because they assured me they could handle the dinner service smoothly, despite my venue's small kitchen. Unfortunately, the food was served ice-cold to my guests due to a minor accident involving their delivery truck. While accidents can happen, it's the company's response that truly shows their professionalism. They offered a small refund, which I accepted at first. However, I soon realized it was inadequate after learning that every single table received cold food. This was a significant disappointment as the food was meant to be a highlight of the day. The consequences of this incident extended beyond just taste. Our photographer, DJ, and Photo Booth attendant were left without their dinners due to the insufficient quantity of food provided. This oversight is simply inexcusable. What left a truly bitter taste was the response I received when I tried to address the issue with the caterer a couple of weeks later. Instead of a sincere effort to make amends, I was met with excuses and a refusal to take responsibility. In the end, what was supposed to be a joyous occasion was marred by this catering mishap. It's disheartening to witness a company that prides itself on its service fail so spectacularly when it matters most. I write this review not out of spite, but as a cautionary tale to future couples considering First Class Catering. If you're looking for a reliable and responsible catering service, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere.

One month later, and we are STILL getting compliments on how wonderful our food was. First Class was so easy to work with! They answered all of our questions and were so helpful and accommodating. The staff was amazing, and were constantly making sure we had everything we needed and letting us know they were there the day of to help with anything we needed.

We loved our wedding food. The Asiago potatoes and Mac & Cheese were amazing!!! First Class was a preferred vendor at our venue, The Wilds, and it was clear they knew the drill here. A staff member even brought us (bride & groom) a small plate of appetizers unprompted which was sweet since we didn’t have time to grab any. Stress-free and everyone loved the food!!

First Class Catering was fantastic to work with! They had a fast response time and helped to deal with any issues that came up last minute. Our dinner guests also said that the food was really good! There was a slight miscommunication with the desserts at the end, but other than that, I would definitely hire them again!

First Class Catering was AMAZING. I wish I could leave 10 stars! Caleb has such a positive energy and he makes it seem like you can pull anything off. FC was set apart from the other companies in that they were much more approachable. We felt like they really cared about what we wanted. They set up a tasting for us free of charge (couldn't believe that) and interviewed us about what type of food we like and why. Wedding food is notoriously boring or okay best case scenario. I can honestly say the food we had was something I'd order at a restaurant. We got many compliments from our guests as well. They also don't charge cake cutting fees, which some companies do. You can be sure that they are not going to charge you additional fees for things that don't make sense. They genuinely give you the best bang for your buck so you are not sacrificing quality for dollars.

Don't even think twice! Hire First Class Catering! Absolutely amazing!!! Caleb is the epitome of class, innovation and knowledge in the wedding industry. He made my dream wedding come true in 3 weeks!!!! Anything I asked for he had a solution! I still can't believe we were able fo pull this off so quickly! He made my day stress free and I can't thank him and the team enough! I am so blessed to have met this crew and I can't wait for more opportunities to work together. I reccomend him to all my friends and family! The lobster and filet was all the guests talked about! Outstanding!

I could not be more grateful that we hired First Class for our catering. First, their communication is excellent. They always emailed back promptly and answered every question thoroughly. They worked with us to make sure that we got all of the foods we wanted, and were happy to adjust the packages for us. They use ceramic dishes, not disposable, and serve tableside. They actually suggested that, based on the type of reception we wanted, we serve family style, and it worked out perfectly! Their food was delicious - maybe even better at the wedding than it was at our tasting! We heard from a lot of our guests that they loved the food. First Class is an amazing value for the high quality of service and food they provided. Definitely recommend!

First Class catered our wedding at The Wilds Venue back in October and did a phenomenal job! We had cheese boards for cocktail hour and a BBQ buffet for dinner, which was all phenomenal! We loved it, and our guests loved it. Thank you, First Class, for helping make our wedding day perfect!

I now understand their name because they truly are "First Class." They were very helpful throughout the entire planning process. The food was amazing. Our guests loved our late-night snack (Walking Tacos)! Thank you for added to our wedding experience.

The vendor was extremely responsive, punctual, and professional. I enjoyed planning the day with them and being able to bounce ideas off of an experienced vendor about aesthetic choices. (Example: will the gold rim plates and gold silverware be too much?) Day of they did a great job cleaning up so the space always looked tidy!

We absolutely loved having first class catering as a special part of our big day! Our guests are still raving about how amazing the food was at our wedding. We hired Caleb and his team for my sisters wedding back in 2019 and again for our wedding two weeks ago because they are so fabulous to work with!! The divine food that they prepare is a work of art to them and they take pride in providing the very best service to their guests along with the best meals for each event. We had our reception of 250 guests in a beautiful barn that did not provide a kitchen and they came prepared with every single thing that they needed. It was amazing watching the way this team works to create such an explicit and beautiful setup. We had many last minute changes due to heavy storms in our area and they made prompt accommodations so perfectly. We loved being able to take our parents to our private food tasting and Caleb and Jessica made us feel so special. They are prompt with responding to emails and phone calls. On our day of, the entire staff was dressed with such elegance and class. They are beyond polite and provided us the best service we could have dreamed of. We couldn’t have chosen a better company! Thank you so much for making our wedding day the best day ever!! It was absolutely beautiful! You all are the very best catering company around!

10/10 experience. Great food/bar and phenomenal service. Our guests were raving all night long! Good price point and helped us network with other Vendors as well. My sister used First Class Catering and they were one of many companies I called when initially researching for our wedding. After our first initial phone call we knew we wanted to use them for our wedding. We did have a COVID wedding and Caleb was super knowledgeable regarding restrictions, we knew early on we were in good hands! We had a fairly specific vision for our wedding early on and the staff at First Class Catering picked up on that right away. They helped with every aspect and we even utilized them to help with our design, too! They helped connect us to remaining Vendors which was super helpful as we partnered to pick out linens, plates, silverware, etc. The final product was beautiful and exactly the vision I had in mind (maybe better)! The entire staff went above and beyond. We had an initial tasting to help us narrow down the many options available. We ended up doing a split plate, passed appetizers and a mini charcuterie plate at each place setting. We even had two signature cocktails along with beer/wine options! On the wedding day, I was met in the bridal suite with the signature cocktail and the groom got his favorite beer hand delivered to him as soon as he walked in the door. Extra steaks were even delivered to the groomsmen after dinner! For the dinner service, we used the "simultaneous service" offering which was a show in itself. The wait staff (dressed professionally and they were all SO KIND) delivered the plates at the same time to each table. It was not only efficient but an elegant touch to the dinner service. We were in good hands with First Class Catering, the service AND the food was great, which is not easy to find! Our guests raved about them all night! You know you made a good choice when a guest requests their business card after dinner!

Our food was phenomenal! We did a taco and a pasta bar, and had sliders passed during cocktail hour. Then we had a “late night” pretzel bar come out towards the end of the evening. Caleb worked with us to develop a plan and have food served as safely and efficiently as possible during this pandemic. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious!

First Class Catering did a great job with our reception! We did the Chicken Bryan and Pork Tenderloin, and both were cooked great, especially considering they were made for over 150 people. My only worry was that due to our post ceremony pictures we wouldn't get to eat the appetizers we loved at the tasting, but the staff at First Class set aside a sample plate for us. All around a great experience!

My only complaint is they cut our cake and placed it out before we did the cake cutting part of our reception. Guests were still getting their dinner and the cake and been placed out. The food was good but I would be very clear on your timeline. Not a major issues but it honestly threw part of the night off and Guests assumed we were not doing a cake cutting. I was rather disappointed.

I cant say enough wonderful things about First Class Catering! We had been to a wedding already and knew how wonderful the food and service was, however we knew we wanted a non traditional menue for our big day. Caleb and his team met our requests and knocked the meal out of the park! We are still getting compliments on the meal served at the reception. They can truly accommodate any requests and budget. We also used First Class as our bar service and they did a wonderful job with that as well! Great selections offered! The staff is what really made this company stand out! With friendly people who went above and beyond to make sure every detail from set up to tear down was executed with such precision. I will recommend First Class Catering to anyone having a wedding or party, and am so glad someone recommended them to me.

The service and food were excellent! We have received several compliments on the food. We used First Class for our bar as well and they did great with that too!

They did a terrible job with our wedding. We ordered Chicken Marsala; they provided breaded fried chicken. The chicken was dry. We ordered steak medium-rare; they provided steak well done. We ordered roasted potatoes; they provided steamed (flavorless) potatoes. The green beans had no flavor. The quality of the food provided at the wedding was MUCH WORSE than the quality of the food at the tasting. It's remarkable how much they got wrong on the day of our wedding. People seemed pleased with the h'ordeuvres, and the service was ok. The actual meal, though, was not what we ordered and was very bad.

Brittany and her crew were so helpful and on top of everything when we were setting up! They were willing to personalize things for our wedding and went above my expectations!

We chose to do a taco bar for our wedding & First Class Catering went far beyond our expectations! People are still telling me how amazing our appetizers were! The tasting was easy to set up & Caleb was very organized & personable. We loved working with First Class!

So we loved First Class Catering so much. The food was freaking amazing. Best tasting experience that we had and the price was great. They also recently added bar service to their repertoire. We also really enjoyed Caleb as a person. He’s super personable and really knows the wedding market and his competitors. Unfortunately we were unable to work with First Class due to scheduling conflicts but they were definitely our first choice and I recommend them to others

Our choice of wedding caterer was really no contest. We scheduled tastings with a couple of caterers and the only one who really “wow’ed” us was First Class. If you live in the Indianapolis area, trust me when I say the drive down to Columbus for a tasting is more than worth it! We had a hard time deciding on our menu because it was all so delicious! Caleb didn’t even bat an eye as we added cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres and then adjusted headcount and then added cinnamon rolls for dessert (First Class doesn’t do traditional wedding cake, but their cinnamon rolls are a-ma-zing!). We requested a private dinner for the two of us, which they accommodated and even asked how we wanted our specific steaks prepared (talk about first-class service)! Having a few minutes to enjoy our meal and each other before greeting our guests was so appreciated. We opted for a plated meal with split entree (4 oz each of filet mignon and raspberry chicken) with brussel sprouts, asiago-stuffed red potatoes and baked mac n’ cheese and a spinach salad to start. We all know wedding reception food usually isn’t very good, but our guests raved about ours! The steak came out perfectly-cooked, which is so impressive for a group of 100+ people served at the same time. The only thing we would suggest is specifically indicating a food allergy. We picked specific foods without nuts due to an allergy but didn’t specifically say “no nuts due to an allergy”. First-Class ended up adding almonds to our spinach salad to fancy it up (which is greatly appreciated that they would go that extra mile). Once they found out about the allergy on the day of, they bent over backwards to fix it. We were also extremely impressed with their pricing. We had gone into it thinking only a buffet would be in our budget, but Caleb proved us wrong. Having a plated meal made the event that much more special for us and our guests. Thank you to Caleb and the entire First Class crew for impressing everyone who had the pleasure of being served by them!

We can't recommend First Class Catering enough for weddings! When we went to our tasting, we had such a hard time picking just a few entree items because all of them were so delicious! Everyone at FCC was easy to communicate with, and all of our guests are still raving about the food--I think someone or other mentioned almost every menu as "the best ___ I ever had!"

Loved the team and the food! Every person at our reception came up and told me how much they loved the food—from the rehearsal dinner pasta bar to the appetizers at the cocktail hour to the reception, every item was perfectly prepared and delicious. I really appreciated the fact that Caleb worked with our budget and helped us pick items that weren’t “standard” wedding fare. Definitely recommend the Cuban sliders and chicken empanadas!

I loved these guys! My husband and I couldnt wait for our wedding to eat the food we picked. We had BBQ for our rehearsal dinner which was amazing!!! The mac and cheese was such a hit. For our reception we had a unique theme ... breakfast food which they knocked out of the park. We had so many guest tell us they were worried but once they tried the food said it was the best breakfast they ever had. Thank you Caleb!!! You and your team did amazing!

We had the best experience with first class at our wedding in Indianapolis! They actually have homemade food and endless options! The staff was incredibly helpful, the bring beautiful place settings and provided excellent service! I think almost every staff member came up to congratulate us! Thanks Caleb!!
