First We Clicked

The best decision I made during planning my wedding was to choose First We Clicked as our photographer. I knew I wanted to go with them after meeting Paul at the bridal show. I saw that his work was unique and inspired. I am so glad I made this decision. Working with hi was wonderful. He had great communication and unique ideas ahead of the wedding to prepare. I felt like he put so much extra effort into our engagement photos and communicating every detail a head of time. During the wedding he was very creative and captured every single moment. There were so many beautiful shots including candid, funny, sweet, and unique. We got all of the classic beautiful wedding photos captured in high quality. We also got many unique and special shots that I could have never dreamed of getting. We got our pictures so much faster than I expecting having been to friends weddings and seeing how long it usually takes. Everything we received was amazing quality and for a really great rate. The whole experience was very special.

So, I paid this guy a $200 deposit. He is a self-centered egotistical maniac; I say this because of the clear belief he is the "best in the business". I put the below email on theknot.com (where I found him) because this is what I received from him after a phone conversation letting him know I was no longer interested in his services. I thought the conversation was going to end there (apparently I was wrong). I let my venue know about this behavior and they have put him on a "do not use list" already - that didn't even exist before- but I am grateful that I am able to help more couples in the future. Just be aware - if you choose to go with Paul from First We Clicked, you will most likely be with someone who believes he knows everything there is to know and, if you chose to cancel his business, you will not get a deposit back and will possibly get an email much like the one below. I have never been treated so poorly and with such lack of respect. I would tell you that you are the equivalent of a piece of s**t but that would be speaking to highly of you. Your special day is as insignificant to me as a fly on a bulls a*s. I have been in communication with the other businesses and they now know all about your antics. You will find the people in our business are very sympathetic to each other. Karma is a b***h and you get first prize. As a christian I am taught to be forgiving. So I forgive you. But I still wish you the most horrible special day you could ever think of. When someone treats you terribly remember this day. In response to HIS RESPONSE on theknot.com; First, I cannot believe the disrespect that you use when talking to possible clients. The way you run your business is disgraceful. Second, I did let you know BEFOREHAND that my fiance does not speak fluent English and that is most likely the reason he did not engage in conversations with you, bringing him in to this is a stupid argument. Third, I did ask for your assistance - before I knew what an egotistical maniac you were. Fourth, I would also like to say that I knew who it was on the phone, I asked because you had the childish idea to act like my venue over text. What kind of unprofessional behavior is that? Fifth, I would also like to point out that I did not ask you to waive any travel fees, YOU are the one that "forgot" to mention it before you sent me the contract - it is technically your fault for leaving that information out before we agreed to have you at our wedding. I EVEN ASKED HOW MUCH TRAVEL WOULD BE AFTER I SAW THE CONTRACT. I had no idea this was such an issue for you. Sixth, I would like to point out that the drone video was something you were offering for free at the time I contacted you. It is definitely not my fault if you lost money in that regard, I thought you had someone in your business that did the video anyway. Why would you offer it for free if you did not have that resource on hand? Lastly, I believe you have "recorded conversations" and I had no idea you were recording - that is very disheartening, I definitely have nothing to hide, but the clear fact that you did not disclose you were recording me is yet another childish act that I can expect from you. Absolutely amazing!

Very thankful that my “now” husband and I chose First We Clicked Photography to capture our amazing day !! The owner, Paul, was profession and enthusiastic in taking the time to ask us questions that allowed him to know more about us and what we envisioned as memorable moments from our day. It also was wonderful how patient he was because, being a nervous bride, it can get to be challenging. However, he mastered the camera and our venue to bring forth pictures that we love and all our family and friends agree that they came out “picture perfect” ! Thank you again, Paul....

Hiring Paul from First we clicked was the best move we made. I am very particular about accurate representation of color and the feel of the day. My friends all seem to have some unique hair color or tattoos and while that by itself isn't important, he managed to reflect beautiful pictures and still was able to compliment each of their distinct looks with very unique poses. He also was able to do some very cool special effect on some of the pictures. I would highly recommend him.

Paul is amazing and does great work. Before , during, and after his professionalism is top notch. He understood my vision and my particular circumstances for my wedding and he made the whole experience amazing. He is very creative with creating perfect shots within the surrounding. After the wedding he was very fast with editing and return of photos. He is my go to photographer for anything I will ever need.

Paul was recommended to us by a friend. From the start we had a really good impression of Paul. He is so positive, friendly and full of suggestions in order to meet our needs. He showed us some samples of his work and we were indeed impressed. We never imagined how even more beautiful the photos of our wedding would turn out. Photos of a wedding are to last a lifetime, so it was very important to get the right person doing this work for us ! Thank you for your awesome work Paul !

Paul took professionalism to a whole new level. He is extremely passionate about his work and it proudly shows! Prior to the wedding, he scoped out the wedding venue surroundings to get acquainted with the space to brainstorm different ideas for the big day. Paul’s work is unbelievably amazing and innovative. Wow, what can I say. So glad I found this company. We worked with the owner Paul and he was SO easy to work with. He listened to what we were interested in capturing and also added creative touches on some photos. In this day when a lot of services leave you disappointed, it was great to find First We Clicked.

Paul was FANTASTIC! He was so cool and easy to be around. He helped us come up with some great looking unique photos for our Family. The pictures were fun to take and very high quality. Paul always had a smile on his face and my better half told me how professional he was. I am so thankful we chose to work with Paul. He really is talented.

Paul was great, not only did he shoot the wedding but we went back to the church after everyone left and shot some amazing pictures. He helped pose us when we didn't know quite what to do. He was very soft spoken and also helped the DJ with setting up some great dance shots. We were very comfortable with him as the day was so crazy. His calming voice and reassuring manner really helped out. D.M
