We had Fitzgerald’s cater our outdoor, “backyard” 130 person wedding last year and they helped make it feel like a true venue. Through the entire process Nick was there and helped us curate a menu that fit our wants while also staying in a budget we were comfortable with. From the freshly shucked oysters to the fun and unique passed apps (don’t skip the chicken and waffle) our guests were never hungry. For days after the event we had people complimenting the food. There never seemed to be any hiccups in the service and the serving of food buffet style was smooth and seamless. We would absolutely hire them again for future events and recommend them to couples looking for catering on their wedding day. My sister also used them for her wedding in 2019 and it was exciting to get to relive their food all over again for our day. 10/10!

Nicholas and his team at Fitzgerald’s are HANDS DOWN, the BEST caterer a bride could ever dream of working with. They were soooo easy to work with, so flexible, to easy-going, so incredible!! The food at my wedding was knock out delicious and there was SO much of it!! My now husband and I were given everything we asked for. The guests at our wedding raved about the taste of the food and the sheer amount of it- no one left hungry. Brittany, our maitre D of the night, was incredible incredible incredible. She took care of us and always made sure we had a drink in our hands and even helped to make sure the night stuck to the timeline. She fluffed my train and veil before I walked down the aisle. What more could you ask for?! My only regret was not eating during the reception! But the team sent us home with plenty of leftovers. My husband and I will be talking about this caterer for years to come and will recommend them to everyone we know. Use them for your wedding and you will have ZERO regrets!!!

Nicholas was a pleasure to work with. Very prompt at returning phone calls and emails. Nicholas worked within our budget and was very accommodating.. His staff did an amazing job at our wedding. They were very professional, on top of everything checking in with us if we needed anything. They managed the event with professionalism from start to finish. The food was delicious. Our guests raved about the meal and even asked the staff for business cards. They exceeded our expectations. Our day was perfect and Fitzgerald Catering was a big part of that. We would highly recommend them for any catering event.

We couldn't have asked for the catering to go any better on our wedding day. Their staff was so professional and responsive to our needs and the needs of our guests. They accommodated all of the dietary restrictions, including family members who had allergies and who were vegan without any questions or issues. The food was absolutely incredible, not a single appetizer or main dish was anything less than delicious. Everybody kept raving about how good the food was, which is sometimes not the case for all weddings.The bartender was amazing and there were no lines for the bar even though we had 75 people and only one bartender. My day of coordinator was commenting all day on how easy they were to work with and how welcoming they were to her presence at the wedding. They were very efficient and respectful during the setup and breakdown and their team worked together very well. It was very apparent that this team is full-time with Fitzgerald's and are not just some teenagers working part time. Pre-Wedding, Nicholas was very responsive to any questions I had and didn't make me feel silly for anything. Overall, we could not recommend them more.

Nick is AWESOME!! We loved our tasting before we hired them as our caterer. Our guests kept saying how delicious all of the food was. You know the food is good when we actually got to sit and enjoy it. They also offer bartending packages that was so great to have! I’m still drooling over the thought of my dinner.

Nick and his team were absolutely amazing. From start to finish they handled every moment of our day so we did not have to worry about anything. They set up, made amazing delicious food, and cleaned up with no issue. Nick was very attentive, answered every question, and kept us sane over the nine months of planning. Everyone raved about how amazing the food was and how great the bar service was. We had children at our wedding and Nick went out of his way to make sure they also enjoyed themselves. Nick and his team were top “knot”-ch to work with! Communicative, timely, and DELICIOUS! Our guests are still raving over the food and we had our wedding almost a week ago. We had a BBQ style buffet for 165 total people. The wait staff were polite young-adults who were so kind and took great care of our guests! We had the time of our life! Fitzgerald Catering catered our wedding in April 2023 at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center Farmhouse. Nicholas was great at communicating leading up to the event and flexible and accommodating for dietary restrictions. We had an all vegan/vegetarian buffet and we had multiple guests (meat eaters) compliment the food - it was such a hit! They took care of all the linens and cutlery too - nothing to worry about! Thank you to the entire team for the wonderful catering of our wedding reception food and bar. We received multiple compliments on the bar service as well! We definitely recommend Fitzgerald Catering for a fair price, delicious food, and reliable service!

Fitzgerald's Catering was by far the absolute best caterers we've ever used. Their entire staff was absolutely amazing amazing amazing. They were incredible from beginning to end and the food was out of this world. All of our guests and our vendors were raving all night about how good the food was. We are still getting messages 2 weeks later from friends and family on how delicious the food was. Five stars is not enough, we give them a 100 stars.

After choosing to have our wedding at a family members residence in Westport CT, We knew one of the most essential components was finding a caterer . In the midst of interviewing 10+ caterers, reviewing menus, and choosing who we wanted to work with for our special day, it was no doubt that Fitzgerald Fine Catering stood out. Not only did they offer honest and reasonable prices , they also eased the stress by providing waiters, staff, linens, and dish ware, which we would have had to seek out separately. Nick was one of the first venders we chose , and gave us constant advice the entire time on hosting a wedding in a backyard with 150 people. Nick was responsive, patient, and kind whenever I reached out with questions relating to the wedding. Nick offered many options for food, including anything extra that we wanted such as providing warm hot pretzels for our guests at the end of the night as a favor, and providing our signature drinks ! On the day of the actual wedding I was so worried I wouldn’t get a chance to eat so the staff brought me constant samples to try, and good thing because the food was amazing! Nick made it a point to come to the house to do a walk through, making sure everything was ready, and decorated the tables just as how we envisioned. I had every guest at our wedding tell me how much they really enjoyed the buffet style food, because they wanted to keep having seconds. The best part of the wedding was that we got to take home most of the leftovers and eat it for the next few days. From the chicken francese to the pesto tortellini, we loved every bite! We will definitely recommend Nick and his crew to anyone who asks, and have nothing but great things to say from start to finish ! Thank you for making my wedding day so special!

Nick and his team are the best! They did an incredible job catering our wedding at Lighthouse Point Park. The food was delicious and served to our 120+ guests (buffet-style) super quickly, and the bartenders made sure there was never a line for drinks. The staff were very attentive to me and my husband and made sure we got to eat and drink plenty. Most importantly, Nick made us feel at ease throughout the whole process as he and his team are super professional and experienced. We felt so relaxed on our wedding day knowing the food, drinks, set-up and service were in great hands, and just got to enjoy it!

I used Fitzgerald's Fine Catering for my future daughter-in-law's bridal shower. I liked how quickly my phone calls and texts were answered. Nicholas was very helpful in coming up with the menu. His staff set everything up for me. They were punctual, friendly, and very easy to work with. Top notch service all around.

Fitzgerald's Fine Catering was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! From our first meeting with Nick, it was a perfect match. He was so easy to work with and always available when I had questions. On the day, Nick and his staff were amazing. I've always heard the bride and groom never eat because they are so busy, they made sure we ate and what we ate was delicious!! We chose the Autumn menu, and it's been 3 weeks and I still have people telling me how delicious the food was. On top of the food being delicious the staff was fantastic, our bartender Mike gets a special shoutout because he was AMAZING. I was so happy with the outcome and I plan to hire Fitzgerald's in the future again.

Nicholas and his staff are INCREDIBLE! We contacted him last year for our 9/24/21 wedding with the request of a mostly vegan wedding as we are both vegan and wanted to be able to eat everything (sans a few meat dishes included in the entrees) and he did NOT disappoint. The food was incredible and enjoyed by EVERYONE! His staff made sure the bridal party was fed while we waited to be introduced. They helped make sure all of our guests were taken care of and they packed all the leftovers up for us to chow down on after the party. Nicholas was so fun and communicative—he made us very comfortable and confident to be able to just enjoy the day without any worries. I cannot recommend Fitzgerald’s enough.

Nicholas Shope and his team met with us for a tasting in March and kept in touch with us via email to help plan our menu for our wedding. We highly recommend Fitzgerald's!

Nicholas and everyone at Fitzgerald's were just impeccable throughout our long process of planning our twice-postponed wedding. At the tasting, my husband and I could not believe how delicious everything was. They coordinated with my in-laws who provided champagne for toasts, while Fitzgerald's took care of the rest of the bar (and at a very competitive price). One of my family members has severe food allergies, and they accommodated it with no issues at all. On our wedding day, the team made sure my husband and I always had something to eat, even bringing a tray of hors d'oeuvres over after cocktail hour in case we hadn't gotten to try something. They are truly full-service - there is no kitchen, linens, or equipment at Lighthouse Point Park, and Fitzgerald's was able to bring in everything we needed and serve a truly delicious meal. Some standouts: steak, eggplant rollatini, cavatelli with broccoli and garlic, as well as ALL the hors d'oeuvres. They went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our day!

I can not say enough great things about this company! We had a small backyard wedding on 10/10 and the group provided us with such amazing service! They were all so friendly and most importantly accommodating, and the food was phenomenal. There were many compliments!

Wow! The food and bar service was ever better than I expected for our wedding. All of the guests raved about their meals and the staff was so helpful making sure we always had enough to eat and drink while mingling with guests. You can’t go wrong with hiring Fitzgerald’s.

Fitzgerald’s Fine catering exceeded all of our expectations. I have not stopped hearing all of our guests talk about how good the food at the wedding was, the Mac and Cheese Nuggets were the biggest hit! The staff was so attentive to not only me and the groom but all of our guests. Nicholas A. Shope is a genius when it comes to catering to a crowd who has complicated multi dietary needs. Imagine a crowd of 175 hungry wedding guests- all passionate about their vegan/macrobiotic/pescatarian/ gluten free/ dairy free/ carnivorous fare. Nicholas was able to design a menu to satisfy each and every palate, creating scrumptious dishes that were devoured by all. His staff was amazing. They flipped the room from sanctuary to reception hall during the cocktail hour, setting tables and setting out goody bags for guests --all while running the cocktail hour simultaneously. And .. they were professional, friendly, helpful and smiling throughout. They made this event a success and many thanks to them for doing so... I wouldn't consider using anyone else! Perfection!

Fitzgerald's catered my baby shower and I have to say, it was a HIT!! Working with Chef Nicholas was effortless. I gave him an idea of what I was thinking and he was able to craft a perfectly tailored experience for my guests! He made thoughtful suggestions and enhancements to make the day super special. The onsite team was prompt, courteous and professional. I think they ended up leaving the kitchen cleaner than it was in the first place! And Holy Smokes!!! The chicken and waffles!! Yummmm!! It would be shame to have any other word come first because the food was absolutely incredible. As “foodies” ourselves it was so important to share some of favorites with our guests and we could not have done that without Fitzgerald’s. Our wedding featured a lobster bake with steamers, NY strip steaks and so much more, which is great in theory but how would it all taste when catered for 120 people? Beyond delicious! I don’t know how Fitzgerald’s does it but they show up with their own equipment and everything is unbelievable. Our family is filled with food critics & seafood lovers and all we heard was how it was the best food that they’ve ever had at a wedding. If the food wasn’t enough, the staff is even better! They were all extremely polite and helpful. Making sure that the we (bride & groom) had everything we need or wanted, cracking lobsters, and saving us a special plate of the passed hors d'oeuvres that we missed during photos. They were attentive to all the other guests too, be conscious of allergies, helping with lobsters, the bar tenders were extremely polite and made delicious drinks. Nicholas & his team are the best and we would recommend them to everyone! We had a lot of unique requests and Nicholas was more than accommodating to help each one of those dreams come true. From signature drinks & infused water stations to linen colors and plate settings. Our wedding would not have been the same without Fitzgerald's and we cannot thank them enough!

Fitzgerald's was excellent - extremely easy to work with. They made it easy to put together a menu and get everything set, and their staff kept everything running throughout the wedding with no intervention needed on our part.

I can't recommend Fitzgerald's Fine Catering enough. Nicholas was SO great throughout everything! He wasn't phased by our tented wedding in the park (with absolutely no kitchen setup) and he handled all the permits. He gave us an extensive tasting and helped us pick a well-rounded menu for dinner. We had a s'mores bar, which was a HUGE hit. The communication and planning was great throughout the entire process. He and our coordinator handled all the details of the setup and put our DIY centerpieces together beautifully (we made the pieces and trusted Nicholas to assemble them). Nicholas and his staff made the whole event absolutely awesome.

Nick from Fitzgerald’s was absolutely amazing. He was responsive, professional, and confident in his work which helped put us at ease through the entire wedding plan in process. Fitzgerald’s is the most reasonable caterer without sacrificing quality whatsoever. The service day of was out of this world, every server and bartender went above and beyond and were polite and friendly. We had a fantastic raw bar that our guests can’t stop talking about. All of the food was amazing, for our entrees we had tuna which was cooked to perfection and beef tenderloin so tender you could cut with your fork! Can’t say enough good things, hire them!!!

We hired Fitzgerald's Fine Catering for our daughter's wedding this June. We had never held any event like this and Nick was very patient and helpful in arranging. The day of the event his staff showed up on time and transformed the venue in a flash. The food was better beyond our expectations. We had a "barbecue" theme, brisket, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, slaw, tortellini salad, etc. Everything was as good as any BBQ restaurant we'd been to (and I'm a huge BBQ fan). The staff was also outstanding - VERY attentive, courteous, friendly, efficient - I could go on. Even the selected wine was good. Guests even asked for "doggie bags" to take some home! Two weeks later, we're still getting complements. So - we can 100% with no reservations recommend Nick and company for your event. You won't be sorry!

We had a 260+ person backyard wedding under a tent on 9/15/2018, and I don't even know what the event would have looked like without Nick and his team, who were absolutely incredible from the start of our planning process through the wee hours of our reception. First, the food was amazing. Our guests are still talking about it and I regularly think about how sad it is that I can't have Nick's cooking all of the time! Beyond that, Nick and his team provided a level of service above and beyond what I could have imagined and made it possible for us to enjoy the day without worry. Darcy and the rest of the staff repeatedly checked on me and my husband to ensure that things were going according to schedule and that we got to eat and, when a guest spilled a drink down the front of my dress right before our first dance, they sprang into action to help me get the stain out. I truly can't say enough good things about Fitzgerald's Fine Catering and will be eternally grateful to Nick, Darcy, and the team for making our wedding such a wonderful experience.

It was great working with Fitzgerald's Catering. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were so attentive and helpful. I am kicking myself for not remembering the name of the woman who headed up our wedding but she was a godsend. She made sure that we were able to eat (THANK YOU!) and really made the effort to check in on us throughout the day to make sure we had everything we needed. Our venue was not the easiest to cook at (a campground where the kitchen was quite far away) and they magically made it happen. And...did I mention how good the food was?!

Choosing Fitzgerald's was one of the BEST decisions we could have made for our wedding day. From the first time we met Nick at our private tasting, it was obvious he knew what he was doing. Darcy and the rest of the team were so professional, yet easy going, honest, and accommodating the day of -- it was over 90 degrees that day, yet still they made sure everyone had everything they needed effortlessly. My mom told me Darcy was so amazing throughout the whole set up prior the reception, adding small touches here and there, and she even boxed up leftovers for us at the end of the night without asking -- anticipating our every need. We got so many compliments from guests about the BEST WEDDING FOOD they've ever had, and little do they know it was affordable! We even added a sundae bar and had some last minute adjustments the week of without any issue, and there were no secret hidden costs or surprises. Nick advised us we shouldn't have to lift a finger or stress on our big day, and we didn't thanks to him and his team. We still feel the love, Nick! I would recommend Fitzgerald's catering to anyone in a heartbeat.

Fitzgerald's Fine Catering did an AWESOME job in catering my daughter and son-in-law's wedding at Penfield Pavilion in Fairfield!! I have been overwhelmed by the compliments that I have received from so many of our wedding guests. The food was delicious and so beautifully presented and served. Nick and his team of waiters, bartenders, and chefs were outstanding and so professional! There is not one thing that I would have changed about the entire evening! The table settings, bar and buffet tables all looked lovely! Nick guided us through every step of the planning and preparation for their reception. We would highly recommend Fitzgerald’s Fine Catering to anyone!

Nicholas and the rest of his staff were amazing to work with! The food at our wedding was phenomenal and they did so much to carry out our ideas and make it an incredible night. Our guests can't stop talking about the crab dip!! Nick answered all of our many questions so quickly and made us feel so at ease through the planning process. He is extremely down to earth and sweet, and was so accommodating when it came to working with our budget. We were even able to supply our own alcohol for the bar which most caterers to not let you do. Nick knows Lighthouse Point like the back of his hand and has the whole setup process down to a science! If you are getting married there you should absolutely go with Fitzgerald's Fine Catering, I can't recommend them enough!

We used Fitzgerald's Fine Catering for our wedding on 9/22/18 at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven, CT and were thrilled with the experience. Throughout the lead up process to the wedding Nick was accessible and incredibly flexible with what we were able to do. It was difficult to narrow down a menu because he will truly do whatever you want, which is a great problem to have. When we were struggling to finalize our choices, we had no problem setting up a call with him and walking through our thoughts which helped us clarify things and come up with a selection we were super excited about. It's one thing to see a nice looking menu on paper, but to see the perfect execution of it was a joy. Many guests commented on how excellent the food preparation was and we both can attest that it was a delicious meal. The lobster in particular was cooked perfectly, and the chicken and steak dishes were both properly prepared and super tasty, which sometimes is a struggle for mass produced food. In addition to the great meal, the staff and services provided by Fitzgerald's on the day of the event were extraordinary and alleviated so much stress for us. We were concerned not having a wedding planner or day of coordinator, but the staff took our decorations the week of the event and set everything up beautifully. Sue in particular was amazing. She slightly tweaked our welcome table design in a way that made it even more visually appealing and was sure that we were taken care of all night, whether it was getting us drinks or making us plates of food. The bride and groom came first and we were treated like royalty by the whole staff. Fitzgerald's also offers the best value you can find for an open bar at $15pp, which is absurd. They even served cases of craft beer and additional liquor we brought. Overall, from the venue set up, food preparation, and incredible staff, Fitzgerald's was a home run and I couldn't recommend them enough. 5 stars all the way.

I can't even remember the number of times I said to my now-husband during the planning process that going with Nick is probably the best decision we made in planning our wedding, and the wedding day only solidified that. Nick was so accommodating and responsive throughout our 18 months (!) of planning, his staff was incredible and so fun at the reception, and the food was awesome (we did the clambake and our guests are still raving about it...) I dont have room for all the good things I want to say about Fitzgeralds, but THANK YOU for making our day so incredible!

After our initial tasting, it was clear to both my fiancé and I that we had to have Fitzgerald's Catering for our wedding on 8/12/18 at Carousel at Light House Point. Not only was every single food item amazing at our tasting, but Nicholas and his assistant, Jonathan, were friendly, funny, and flexible. It was clear that they would be willing to work with the customer to make the customer’s vision and their dream wedding happen. Throughout the planning process Nicholas was timely and responsive to my many emails. It was clear how professional, organized and knowledgeable he is. The day of Nicholas and his staff ensured every detail was correct to my OCD liking… including (but not limited to) center pieces, lanterns, plaques, and escort cards. Darcy continuously checked on me and my groom, offering to bring us personal hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour as we chose to do our bridal party pictures during this time. She Darcy offered to put additional hors d’oeuvres in the bridal room or at our table. When we didn’t have a chance to eat dinner (as your wedding day FLIES) she hand made us both plates and put them at our seats for us. At the end of our night she also packed up all the left overs so we could enjoy them later. Nicholas, Darcy, Sue, Jonathan and all the other staff were so attentive throughout the entire night. They continuously checked in with us to ensure that everything met our expectations. Fitzgerald's Catering will exceed all your expectations and is definitely a wonderful addition to any wedding!

If you want an amazing caterer, look no further. Nick and his team and the ultimate professionals. They respond to all emails in a short period of time and are willing to work with you. We went to their shop for the tasting and they were very courteous. The food tasted the same at the tasting as in the event! The apps were gone by the end of cocktail hour at my wedding. The food was incredible and the staff are attentive. They brought out apps to is during the photos and when we were waiting to come back down. Also, when we asked them to cut a special cake, they were more than willing to help! I highly recommend them to anyone!

We loved Nick and Fitzgerald's Fine Catering!!! When we went to Nick for a tasting, we instantly knew that we wanted to have him as our caterer. He was able to accommodate exactly what we wanted and at the price we wanted (super reasonable!) Throughout the entire process he was easy to reach and answered every question I had. He was incredibly easy to work with every step of the way. On top of that, his staff was AMAZING. My husband and I were married at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven, and I was so nervous about what the venue would look like without me being there to set it up. I was so shocked at what an amazing job his staff did at setting the carousel room up while I was finishing getting ready. It truly transformed and was exactly what I had envisioned. We chose to do a buffet dinner, which I assumed was the typical buffet style where guests go up to get their food and bring it back to their tables. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a "family style" buffet which was super fun! They brought large plates of food to each table to be passed around. The guests loved it, and it was a wonderful way to have everyone interact-- especially the people who were sitting with others they may not have known. And of course, the food was delicious. Guests LOVED it. They also wrapped some "to-go" boxes for me and my husband since we, of course, fell into the trap of not eating during the course of the evening. I highly recommend Fitzgerald's Fine Catering for your event-- the prices can't be beat, and the quality of service, food, and everything in between was top notch!

Nick and his crew made our June wedding brunch the perfect beach escape (even though the weather wasn’t the best). When we proposed the idea of doing a brunch at a family beach house without power or electricity, Nick was happy to oblige. He has everything you need all ready to be transported in a truck, including his own generator! When we arrived on sunday, the tables were set and the brunch buffet was perfect, complete with a custom egg station to make the perfect breakfast or my favorite, bacon, egg and cheese sandwich! This was our second time working with Nick’s team and their can do attitude is so welcomed and refreshing. They make delicious food and keep it so well priced. We were lucky to have them and will use them again in the future!

Nicholas and his team were awesome to work with! From our tasting with him, we knew he was the best option and didn't even bother looking anywhere else. He worked with us on our budget and in the planning process, he responded to us almost immediately any time we had a question. He provides everything for you and his whole team was great the day of. Everyone was personable and continued to ask both myself and the groom if there was anything we needed -- and they made sure we were well fed starting with the cocktail hour! Their clean up was quick and they even offered to help break down the tables and chairs for us even though it wasn't their job. Our guests are all raving about how great the food was and we are still eating the leftovers we were packed up with at the end of the night.

Nick at Fitzgeralds Fine Catering was absolutely amazing from the very first contact all the way through to the end of our wedding reception at the Carousel at Lighthouse Point Park. We would highly recommend him and his team! He responded to our initial inquiry quickly, and upon request, sent us several different sample menus at different price points. He was always quick to respond to emails and we were able to come in and sample the food at a time that was convenient for us. We absolutely loved everything! Nick made it easy to pay for our deposit via email through Square invoices, which he prepared right away once we confirmed our decision. Over the next 16 months of wedding planning, Nick was quick to answer any random question we had that related to requests from our other vendors and our timeline planning. We even came in to try out some other menu items before confirming our final menu choices. We probably didn’t need to because everything was just as amazing, but it was great to taste them before we made our choices! During the last week before the wedding Nick confirmed our final count and color choices. Our wedding was at Lighthouse Point Park. Nick and his team definitely know what they are doing at this venue! No wonder they came so highly recommended. LHPP has tables and chairs. His team brings everything else we needed for our reception, linens, china, glassware, flatware, and buffet set-up (We only chose linen colors, everything else was simple). My bridesmaids and I had boxed up and labeled all of the centerpieces, decorations, escort cards, etc and included pictures and directions for the set-up. His team did an excellent job setting everything up for us and it looked a million times better than I had imagined it. His team was amazing and courteous, checking in with my husband and myself to check when we wanted key things to happen, like cutting the cake. They even asked if we wanted to get our food first so that we could eat while our guests were in the buffet line, which was something we had discussed at one of our tastings. They had a pitcher of ice water at our sweetheart table, which helped us remember to drink (which can be so much harder than you can imagine with everything going on!). They boxed up the leftover food for us at the end of the night and our wedding party managed to take a few back to the hotel while our parents took the rest. They had containers for any of our leftover cupcakes, too. Finally, the food was AMAZING. Everyone was talking about it during and afterwards. The chicken, the steak, the cheese and pesto tortellini – all absolutely delicious. We ate them for lunch and dinner for days after. Our friends all loved the lemon and olive orzo. The bartenders did an excellent job with drinks; they remembered what our guests had ordered when they returned to the bar. If you are looking for a caterer that is both excellent and a one-stop shop, especially for a blank canvas-type venue, this is definitely the one!

Never could I have imagined my wedding day being as organized and stress free as it was and it is all thanks to Nick, Darcy, and the entire Fitzgerald's catering staff. They took care of every single detail and were reassuring in any time of doubt. We had our wedding in a venue that did not come with a wedding "coordinator" and Nick and Darcy took this role on communicated openly and often with us, our parents, and our vendors. They delivered above and beyond, it was the most magical night and it would have been impossible without them. If you fancy a FUN, stress-free, flawless event, you MUST choose Fitzgerald's, you will thank yourself before, during, and well after your event. Words can't describe how AMAZING Nick and his crew were for our wedding last weekend. The night was absolutely unforgettable and I give most of the props to Nick and his crew. From the very start of wedding planning Nick had made all the planning stressfree and fun! He's understanding and REAL. He's quick to answer emails and texts. Meeting up with me for every ridiculously stupid question I had. If your planning your event at penfield pavilion Nick is a MUST. He's knows the Pavilion inside and out. Our wedding guest can take stop telling us how great the food was and how amazingly professional his staff was. PLEASE don't overlook Fitzgerald Catering. We can not wait to book another event with them in the future. Nick you rock!

Nick and his staff did an amazing job!! My husband and I knew exactly the type of food we wanted to serve at our wedding and Nick made it happen exactly how we envisioned it. The wedding was a month ago and people are still raving about the food, calling it the best wedding food they ever had!! Not only was the food amazing but Nick's professionalism and attention to detail was impeccable. I did not hire a wedding planner and I was a bit nervous about having all the DIY details displayed as I envisioned it but Nick made sure that it was all displayed exactly how I pictured it. I highly recommend Fitzgerald's Fine Catering and would not hesitate to use their services in the future.

Nicholas and his team are AMAZING! Throughout the whole wedding planning process we had so many questions for Nicholas. He was always very responsive and easy to work with. He was flexible when building our meal/drink package. His staff is nothing but professional, and I felt that throughout the entire reception at my wedding. My husband and I were treated like royalty on our special day, always making sure we were full and had a drink! Nicholas' years of experience shows and his food is AMAZING!

Absolutely perfect service. Nick worked with us to stay within our budget. The catering service went flawlessly on our big day. The staff was quick, attentive and friendly. The food was amazing and all our guests raved about it. They set the table beautifully too. Just how we wanted it.

Nicholas and his crew of chefs and caterers do amazing work. He took the time to meet with us on a Saturday, in the middle of prepping for another event, so we could try samples of his food. He also was completely flexible when we wound up having to change venues. Then there's the food. What an I say about the food. We got married on the weekend of memorial day, and at a family labor day BBQ we were still hearing complements about the food. The on-site team kept everything moving like clockwork, and handled every request we had with grace and efficiency. We couldn't have asked for a better partner.

Fitzgerald's Fine Catering did an absolutely amazing job!!!! It's been almost three months and people are still raving about the food. From the initial food tasting session, to the on-site consultations and all the way up to the big day, Nick was incredibly accessible, always responsive to our millions of questions (even late at night), and the food was amazing. We had so many great appetizers, we actually FORGOT what we had ordered! The wait staff was also incredibly professional, and they enjoyed themselves just as much as our guests did. One of the waiters realized my husband and I hadn't eaten a thing all day and quietly set aside a plate of all our appetizers and directed us to a private space where we could eat a little something. They also made sure our reception layout was flawless - we even forgot some small details that they picked up for us. They brought fresh-cut flowers to put out on our candy bar station to enhance the table, totally above and beyond what we could have ever asked for. The bartender made the drinks good and strong, but not too strong, and he made sure all the guests kept their spirits up and were in a good mood. The only thing I wish was different was during the clean up, they were so efficient about it that a few people lost their candy bags, but we had a enough leftover to offer replacements during the brunch the next day. Overall, this was the best deal for the money we paid. The also put out all of our centerpieces exactly the way we wanted them! I cannot say enough great things about this team.

It's been a year since our wedding and I'm ashamed to just be writing this review, because Nick was AMAZING. Amazing. And not just in a "it was my wedding so everything was great and perfect and the best and mine" kind of way. My husband and I are super non-traditional but total foodies...we mixed New Orleans with Connecticut at Lighthouse Point in the most fun, casual, hodge-podge way. We didn't do a tasting, and didn't even meet Nick until the wedding night. In very non-CT (but very Southern) style, we did not have a plated dinner OR assigned seats because we wanted max dancing/max fun/minimum sitting. It all worked out perfectly. People still come up to me at other people's weddings and sheepishly tell me they dream of Nick's food (primarily the brisket, raw bar, tacos, and mac and cheese), and our brass band when they go to a wedding. Though it's clear that he would be incredible for all of your sit-down dinner, fine-dining needs, Nick dealt with our casual, "not-wedding-people" approach to planning and helped us may the day supremely delicious and memorable. Fitzgerald's is the BEST.

Our July 22 wedding was catered by Nick and his team at Fitzgeralds Fine Catering. I met with many different catering services before deciding on Fitzgeralds. The menu options are endless, he communications were immediate and the flow of service was impeccable. All the guests raved about the entrees and loved the strawberry shortcake & cookie bar. Nick was an amazing contribution to our lighthouse point wedding and it wouldn't have been the same if we had chosen otherwise.

My wife and I are newlyweds as we recently got married during MDW at Light House Point in New haven, CT. We choose Fitzgerald's Fine Catering because of their reviews, reputation and their willingness to make sure our day would be most special. The food at the wedding was incredible. The guests were talking about how good the food was for days after the event. It was that good. Our cocktail hour started a little early and lasted longer than expected but, they were ready. The wait staff kept bringing out Hors d'oeuvres until it was time for the guests to be seated. Dinner was amazing. Fitzgerald's Fine Catering Chicken Marsala might have been the best I have ever had. We chose to go with a buffet so our guests could try a bit of everything and it was spectacular. All the dishes and sides were outstanding. Fitzgerald's Fine Catering realizes that the Bride and Groom are extremely busy. They make this one part of the day seamless. We ordered special chairs for our guests that came individually wrapped. Their wait staff came early to set them up. We had hired a decorator (www.morethanamomenteventdesign.com) and she wanted to set up the tables early. Originally, Fitzgerald's Fine Catering was going to set up the tables and instead of us having to go and pick up the table clothes and bring them to the decorator. He shipped them to her at no additional cost for us. We were able to drop decorations off before the wedding so we did not have to worry about them on the wedding day. After the wedding was over, they took stuff back to their facility and we picked them up days later. Fitzgerald's Fine Catering makes that special day all about you and you will not have to sweat the small stuff.

We worked with Nicholas and his team for catering at our outdoor wedding at Preston Ridge Vineyard in Connecticut. His team had never worked at that particular venue, so we arranged a meeting at the vineyard so Nicholas could physically see the space and meet us and the vineyard owner in person. We were so impressed with his professional, yet laid back attitude. We were planning our wedding from out of state, and Nicholas was very flexible and easy to work with via email and phone call. The end product was absolutely phenomenal. All of our wedding guests raved about the food and the friendly servers, and the vineyard owner said Nicholas and his team were fabulous to work with from their perspective, too. We were thrilled with everything that Fitzgerald's Fine Catering provided us and would recommend their services to anyone!

Hiring Fitzgerald's was the absolute best decision we made for our wedding. Nicholas was so easy to work with and the food was amazing (my guests are still raving about it). The best part, though, was how Fitzgerald's really made our party come together. I had absolutely no stress at my wedding due entirely to Nicholas's team's competence and professionalism. We were so lucky to have Fitzgerald's cater our wedding.

Planning/Booking: We sat down with Nicholas and went over our ideas, budget and atmosphere we would like to set at our wedding reception. He offered a lot of recommendations and guidance, filling us in on all of the ways to achieve the type of reception we had envisioned within our budget, along with providing us some great hors d'oeuvres to snack on throughout our meeting. After meeting with several caterers we went with Fitzgerald's because the level of communication stood out. Nicholas was quick to respond to questions and able to walk us through the entire event process while itemizing all of the details. Other caterers that we had met with responded with very canned/prepackaged proposals and sales pitches, we felt that Nicholas truly listened and cared. The Event: They arrived early, quickly setup and had everything ready to go prior to guest arrival. We had large groups of people arriving by bus and were concerned about immediate crowding at the bar, this wasn't an issue, and service was superb. As we moved through our reception greeting guests, we found everyone extremely pleased and vocal about how good the food was, especially the crab dip. The quality of service was excellent and we were well taken care of. Final Notes: It's important to add that we DID NOT have a wedding planner, so we had to make sure that everything was in place and coordinate the event setup, wedding party, photography, transportation, timing, and everything else happening at our own reception. A lot of vendors had questions before and during our reception... This was not the case with Nicholas and his team. They came in and put on a perfect performance. There weren't any questions or any day-of confusion and we can't thank them enough for that. All of our guests were incredibly pleased with the food and service and we couldn't be happier.

Nicholas catered our AMAZING wedding at Lighthouse Point Park this past October. We interviewed a few caterers before choosing Nicholas and Fitzgerald's. He was down-to-earth, honest, and genuinely cared about making our event special. We felt like he wanted to get to know us, rather than feeling like "just another couple," as we felt at some other caterers. We knew we wanted something a little bit different and non-traditional to complement the venue, and he helped us create a boardwalk-themed menu that our guests raved about! With Nicholas' help, we were able to customize everything on our menu, even down to the cute containers he used to serve the dishes! We also loved that his staff could serve the liquor we purchased from another vendor, allowing us to serve the types of liquor we like best. We really got EXACTLY what we wanted at very reasonable prices. Without Nicholas and his staff, our wedding would not have been possible. We are eternally grateful and would highly recommend Fitzgerald's!

Nick did our wedding last month in Groton Long Point, a gorgeous outdoor home we rented.... we had bacon wrapped scallops, asparagus, steak, it was all professionally prepared, delivered and tasted like heaven! Nick replied to our emails immediately, answering all my crazy bridal questions. Even with the bridal nerves, I ate a full plate of food! The bartenders were fun, and everything was packed professionally up afterward! We still have leftovers after this month, we were so happy with the service!

Nicholas is a dream to work with! He had wonderful suggestions to get us started, let us create our own unique menu, and has more or less held my hand through the process of creating our own bar. Other caterers we considered had very rigid menus and pricing structures. Nicholas really listened to what we wanted, answered all our questions, and didn't base our pricing on a pre-set package. Personal attention, delicious food, and great value- you won't be sorry if you go with Fitzgerald's!

Nick and his staff did an amazing job. Very well organized and the food was delicious. My guests are still raving on about it. His prices are very reasonable and he provides the linen too. He also handled the slipcovers for the chairs(for an extra cost per person) which was very helpful.

Nick really makes you a guest at your own party! He was so easy to work with and so straight forward with pricing. There were no hidden costs or extra fees! The wedding was in my parents backyard and he did a awesome job with very little space to work with (garage). I wasn't bothered with any questions during my wedding....they figured everything out and it was great. The food was really good and there was something for everyone! I would definitely recommend.

Nicholas caterer our wedding at the Lighthouse Point Park-Carousel House and was great! He worked with me on the menu helping it fit in the island waterfront wedding theme with his creative cuisine.
