ica has a God given talent to not only take pictures but provide an unbelievably relaxed and fun environment. My Husband and I decided to do a first look for our wedding, and it was probably the best decision we could have made. I don't know how Jessica did it, but the photoshoot felt like a date. I like to say that I went on a date with my Husband two hours before our wedding. It was exactly what I needed to calm my nerves. Sometimes pictures can feel posed or you just don't even know what to do in them. Jessica gives clear directions and has SO many tips and tricks to create those picture-perfect moments. Her faith and love for the Lord is also something that makes her abilities so spectacular. She prayed for us on the days leading up to the Wedding and she prayed over me with my bridesmaids before I went down the aisle. It is hard for me to describe how thankful I am for that. If you want a photographer who will genuinely care about you, your Husband, and the quality of your pictures… then look no further. Five Fourteen will take care of you 😊

her (which was SO easy to do) before the wedding. She made us feel so good about ourselves, we had a WONDERFUL time taking pictures with her. My husband really dislikes getting pictures taken, but after our engagement session, he told me he wished we didn't have to wait an entire year to get our pictures taken with her again. I knew then and there, Jess was a gem! She really helps you focus on each other and your marriage, not so much the fluff (wedding, and material things). It was really refreshing, as most wedding vendors are all about the details and the wow factors, Jess wasn't, she was all about the people, and capturing the love and joy that everyone had on our day. We got around 1700 shots when it was all said and done, it was truly more than we could ever ask for in a photographer. Stop looking, and book Jess you wont regret it!!!

ah, remember my first conversation with Jessica and her desire to meet our needs. I shared about the passing of my mother and the difficult emotions I experienced in her absence. Jessica was supportive, empathetic and encouraging. Her professionalism was beyond helpful for me as I crafted my DIY wedding in a very short time. She was always available and willing to help with a variety of questions and decisions, most of which did not even relate to photography! This is the kind of service, people rather, that Cory and I wanted to be surrounded by and assisted by on the day of our wedding. When we had our big day they just made everything so easy. Jess stayed with me while I was getting ready and Rick worked with my husband while he was getting ready. It's so easy to so easy to see the love this couple shares for each other and how they love doing this work together!! The best is how comfortable they make they made us feel during our couples photos. We weren't able to do to an engagement session, but that didn't hinder us from having a blast. We never once felt staged or unnatural, it was just like spending quality time with my husband! And then at the reception, they joined right in the party and were dancing along side us so we know they're will be lots of fun candids from the night! They were an absolute blast to work with! I never felt like even a hair was out of place, and I always knew what to do with my hands! Book this wonderful couple for sure!!

To give you an idea of how great they are, we had two teenagers posing for pictures throughout the day who thought Jess and Rick were cool. We planned the wedding from out of state, but Jessica was so great with keeping me updated and working with me even though we didn't get to meet in person until my big day. She stayed in touch with me through out the whole planning process and really got to know me and the groom so well! When we did finally get to meet, it felt like we were old friends. Five Fourteen was so easy to work with. They made me feel so great and put me at ease when I was a bundle of nerves. Jessica even prayed with us, it was such a special moment for me. I am so thankful they were recommended to me.

duo, and when we walked up to them as the show was ending and other vendors were busy packing up they didn’t show any fatigue or desire to fast talk us with their spiel and took the time to share about their business and learn about us. From there, Jess and Rick met with us over fro-yo and even brought us a gift before we’d even booked them. It was so clear that they were there to be a part of our journey and wedding and not just something transactional. We purchased a package that included an engagement session, our wedding and reception, and then an album, and two canvases. Over the course of the 7 or so months we interacted we got regular communication about what we should be doing and thinking about in regards to our event. Our engagement session was a blast and really allowed my husband and me to learn how to pose and what it would feel like taking all the portraits. Jess and Rick took the time to have ice cream with us after the session and we bonded as we were able to introduce them to our fave ice cream place (they love ice cream too). Our engagement session photos were great and delivered to us far exceeding the speed guaranteed in the contract. On the day of the wedding my interactions with Rick and Jess were wonderful, I felt like I had another friend or family member there in this wonderful couple. Jess and Rick are assertive enough to make sure that they get all the pictures we said we wanted, but sensitive to people and circumstances that can make the photo taking awkward. My husband and I didn’t do a first look by choice, and Jess and Rick were totally cool with that even though it’s not the normal recommendation there was no pressure to conform to what might be easier. Additionally they got through our portraits in lightning speed while still making everyone feel comfortable and allowed us time to go off-site before the reception to a beautiful park for more photos. Jess and Rick spend a lot of time scouting sites and even helped us find a park near our church and reception when we shared we wanted a third place for some pictures. We added time with them in the middle of the reception and it was seamless. Following the wedding our pictures were again delivered to us far exceeding the time guaranteed and the presentation of everything was just perfect. Jess even called to follow up and make sure everything was received. So all this to say, say YES TO JESS! This couple is so wonderful, reasonably priced and a dream to work with. Working with them was one of the best choices we made for our wedding day. Additionally if a celebration of your faith is an important part of your day, these two are definitely value-added to that part of the experience, praying and celebrating along with you. I feel like we found friends not just a photographer.

tually, Jessica and Rick made the transition to shooting photos in a much more high stakes and dangerous environment. Of course I’m referring to weddings, skydiving isn’t dangerous ;) When Jessica heard we were engaged, she contacted Andrea and expressed interest in wanting to capture photos on our special day. Andrea met with Jessica for lunch and she presented their photography package. We had met with a few photographers prior, but none of them felt quite right. Although we have a personal connection with Jessica and Rick, it was their professionalism and passion that lead us to our decision. From the bridal party preparation to the reception exit, Jessica and Rick worked in tandem. Whether it be thoughtful artistic composition, crowd control at a busy scenic venue, minding the timeline of events, or making sure to catch the candid moments; they operate as a team to assist and inspire one another. The intimacy they share inspires love and affection which can lessen the awkwardness that comes along with formal photography. Don’t be surprised to see one (or both) of them stealing glances at each other while they work! After our wedding we traveled to New York to see Andrea's grandparents who's health prevented them from traveling. Jessica, knowing this information, made sure there was a sneak peek ready to go so we could share them with family. I am simply amazed at some of the shots they composed. every little detail, from the decorating in the dining room, to the pre-wedding prayer circle with the brides maids, all the way to the dance floor shenanigans after the ceremony. They were able to catch, candid, real life shots, in addition to the normal posed wedding shots. In addition to all of the time and attention during the ceremony, Jess and Rick even found time in the busy schedule to take a short road trip offsite to do secondary photo shoot in a special bride and groom only location. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better photography team to be part of our wonderfully amazing day. failed attempts with other photographers (bad engagement pics, paying them and not getting my pics back, ect.) I decided to go to a bridal show and that's where I found them. Before I left I knew in my heart that they were the real deal so I made sure Jessica had a voicemail on her phone from me to reserve my wedding day.
