THE OWNER HAS ZERO COMPASSSION AND WILL PUT HIS PROFITS ABOVE YOUR SPECIAL DAY> I had every vendor cancel on me and then when I called him to say I needed help, he told me to go screw off because I had already signed the contract, and he was gonna do me the favor and not sue me for the remaining 300$. can you believe that? then he said it was all my fault because I went to other people and not him. DO NOT USE!!!!

Our experience with Five Star Entertainment was nothing short of pleasant! The planning, follow thru, execution and follow up exceeded our expectations. Our DJ was very professional. The worksheet was followed to the finest detail. Our guests were pleased and it was overall a great experience. I am happy we decided to go with Five Star and will continue to use them in the future.

Five Star Entertainment was an excellent vendor. They were detail oriented and helped us plan from conception to implementation. The DJ we got, Major, was excellent! He did a lot of day-of coordination, worked with our photographers easily, and guided us through the day with a deft hand. Absolutely recommend them again.

5 star was amazing! They made sure to go over everything with me and helped me with things I didn’t even know I needed! They are the reason my wedding was such a success! I would definitely recommend 5 star for any event!

Five Star Entertainment was absolutely amazing, we can’t say enough good things about this company. My husband and I just got married this past weekend and we received so many compliments on our DJ. He was attentive, fun and easy to work with on top of being so friendly. I appreciate how easy it was to work with this company, especially with how stressful wedding planning was. They were quick to respond, helpful and so kind. Our wedding day was absolutely wonderful with their help, it was better than we could have imagined!

Cannot recommend 5 Star Entertainment highly enough. Our wedding coordinator gave us a list of vendors but mentioned offhand that 5 Star was known for getting people on the dance floor, which was definitely a priority for us. Every step of the way, from booking to planning to set up to breakdown was so, so easy-- Vivian walked us through every deadline, and the survey that they had us fill out let us cultivate a fantastic wedding playlist. Two months later, people are still talking about how great the dancefloor and our DJ was the best wedding DJ they've seen all year. We also used their equipment for our service, and it made things so simple. I'm glad we had them for our wedding-- it made everything a breeze. Would hire them again in a minute for literally any event.

Working with the team at Five Star entertainment was enjoyable from the beginning. Vivian was communicative and answered all questions promptly. It was great how customizable things were including the background of our photo booth pics, the monogram displayed on the wall, etc. They provided a comprehensive worksheet to complete to help us choose songs and styles of music throughout our event and really helped us get organized with songs that represented us. My favorite aspect was the "candid photographer" that took pics during the reception and were displayed on our TV/projector in real time - a super fun and interactive aspect of a wedding that I really enjoyed!

Five Star entertainment made the entire process of booking them such a breeze! Vivian helped so much in going over the packages they offer and helping with organizing the entertainment timeline for our big day! DJ Major did such a great job with the entertainment on the day of! We would definitely book with them again for future events as they made this booking such a stress free one for us!

The whole team from in office, set up, DJ was great! They’re so helpful, easy to work with and very respectful. Shoutout to our DJ, KALEB!!! He is the bomb!

Five Star Entertainment, Don't look any further, this company is your one stop shop for DJ, lighting, photo booth, monogram, video screen and more......I was in your shoes once and nervous about choosing the perfect DJ for my wedding. I made the decision to go with Five Star Entertainment and I would choose them all over again. Major was our DJ and he kept our guest on the dance floor. Vivian was our person of contact/specialist that put everything together! Vivian answered any questions I had and assisted in giving different perspectives in regards to her experience. Let them do the work for you, choose your budget and discuss your vision with Vivian, and your wedding day will be just as you imagined and more with your DJ!

The was the most fun we’ve ever had at a wedding. Major was our DJ and he was fabulous, entertaining and very knowledgeable with everything and the timing of all the different events during our reception. All of our guest even commented on what a great job Major was doing during the event and after the event. I would highly recommend Major for any event. Thanks for a great evening!

Vivian and her team were absolute professionals from start to finish! They were detail oriented in planning and provided suggestions based upon their experiences. The day of was AMAZING. Darius was an incredibly DJ and emcee, he kept the party flowing and going without my husband and I having to micromanage. We cannot recommend this vendor highly enough!

Without the experience of Five Star, we wouldn’t have been able to have a smooth reception! Mark and his team coordinated the entire event for almost 200 people with ease!!! I requested to get through the “formalities” and get to the partying as quickly as possible and that’s EXACTLY what they did!!! Everyone knows the DJ keeps the party going so it’s very important to hire the BEST! Vivian kept communication open for an entire year and a half! Communication and trusting your vendor to do their job is very important and Five Star experience is EXACTLY WHAT WE GOT!!!

5 Star Entertainment was a recommendation through Cape Fear Botanical Garden for our vows renewal. When I say top tier service and entertainment, I mean just that. Vivian helped make the arrangements flow so smoothly. The owner who was also the DJ had the reception rocking from start to finish without skipping a beat. He was the absolute beat. You made our event amazing.

My wedding was 9/24/2022 and all I can say is that Five star entertainment went above and beyond to satisfy our needs and our guests needs!!!! Everything was on point from beginning to end… Ms Vivian was a GREAT help to me as well as this was my FIRST time planning a wedding, she was prompt with communication. Five Star Entertainment was amazing to work with from start to finish! From setup with Vivian Baldwin- She was on top of everything from the very beginning! She made sure to stay in touch and followed up on homework and zoom meetings (we were out of town). She knew the importance of having every detail to make sure the wedding was smooth and seemless. “Major” Darius Fryar is the absolute best DJ hands down! He worked the crowd, got everyone dancing, and “MCee’d” the entire wedding! His setup was super quick and clean. I would recommend this team to anyone and everyone!! Simply amazing! We are so happy we went with Five Star for our wedding. From initial booking all the way up to the wedding date, they made the process super easy! Vivian was such a pleasure to work with— she was responsive, professional, and offered many pieces of wedding advice! And special shout-out to our DJs, Darius and Brandon, for being absolutely AMAZING. They were so professional, fun, and made the reception a blast. We got so many compliments on the music and we would book them again in a heartbeat! 10/10 recommend!

5 Star was EXACTLY what me and my husband had envisioned for our wedding day! We specifically requested Major for our DJ.. being a wedding vendor myself, I have first hand seen him in action countless of times.. and new I had to have him and his enthusiasm and passion for my own wedding! Me and my husband, my entire bridal party, family, and all of my guests truly had one of the best nights ever! We were constantly on the dance floor and we will never forget it! We chose Five Star for our wedding, our point of contact was Vivian. She was very nice and thoroughly explained each package options that would yield the best value in pricing based on our vision. The communication throughout the process was exceptional. On the day of our wedding, we chose the songs, but the DJ was spot on with the music. They deliver exceptional service from the start, working with Vivian in the office coordinating, to finish with DJ and owner Mark Pezzella.  I've seen Five Star in action and had no doubt who would be handling my son and daughter-in-law's wedding. As always, you guys went above and beyond to help make this day both amazing and fun!

Living in Fayetteville NC we’ve heard great things about Five Star Entertainment. So when it came time for our wedding in Charleston SC we contacted them. Vivian was awesome to deal with, she maintained communications with us, was very patient with us and ensured every detail was covered. We made several changes and additions to our special day and Five Star was very accommodating and provided us with many many options. Once our special day arrived, the crew was there early to set up and what a set up it was from the up lighting, DJ set up to the wonderful photo booth it was perfect. Our DJ for the evening was the owner Mark Pezzella himself. From providing sound for the ceremony to the on site reception, He kept everyone entertained as did his staff and everone danced the night away. Superb candid photos. The only thing we would do over for our wedding was to have Five Star Provide the day of coordinating as well (its provided but we opted to go with a wedding coordinator we had paid for and it was a huge mistake). Mark not only pointed out many issues that the wedding coordinator and photographer were not doing and took the “bull by the horns” and got our evening back on track and kept the evening fluid and special. No matter how small or large your needs are you should definitely give Five Star Entertainment a call you won’t be disappointed. Like the old saying you get what you pay for well we got the best. We plan on calling Five Star for any future DJing needs.

The golden monogram that was projected on the brick wall was beautiful. Lots of choices for lights, colors, letter scripts. Music was perfectly timed for all the grand entrances. Five Star made the wedding event enjoyable.

Our DJs were amazing! They did exactly what we imagined. We loved their energy throughout the whole night. We were late arriving due to wedding pictures. The DJs adapted to this and played only the most popular songs from our pre-made playlist. We loved having an introduction song for each member of our wedding party! So many guests have told us they never even had time to sit or use the bathroom beaus the songs kept making them want to be on the dance floor! Highly recommend.

Their manager Vivian was very helpful and accommodating throughout the planning process. The dj was very friendly and apologetic for the mistakes he made with the music throughout our event. However, we feel that more attention should’ve been payed to other musical aspects such as the timing of the songs, and the music that was being played.

The service couldn't have been better! I would use Five Star for any future events. From start to finish everyone involved was extremely thorough and professional. They worked on every detail leading up to our wedding day, and let us choose everything. During the wedding was no different. They let us adjust on the fly, and were great entertainers! We had a smaller wedding for the venue, and they did an outstanding job making it feel like a huge event. The DJs made a great effort to get everyone involved and keep the energy up. We loved it!

5 star entertainment went above and beyond their service for our wedding day. We absolutely loved our personalised monogram and room lighting. The DJ even helped keep our guests entertained. We also hired the Photo booth which made for some really great memories, it also came with a personised design for the print outs. 100% would recommend this company for any event.

The whole process towards the wedding was as smooth as a bride can ask for. They were really professional, answered all my questions made all the necessary adjustments to fit my dream wedding. The Photo Booth crew was outstanding, somehow managed to broadcast all the pictures that the guests were taking on a screen. Both DJs were super accommodating to my latin background and played songs that probably americans never heard of! Highly recommended.

Five star was awesome! I enjoyed them from day one during our consultation. They did my sister's wedding in 2012 and did absolutely amazing, but since I work in events myself I had to compare other vendors. Five star out ranked other individuals throughout the Carolina's with no competition. Vivian walks you through EVERYTHING and exemplifies top customer service. The day of runs smoothly and everything is done with professional class. I recommend them to everyone. I live in DC so I had to plan my wedding out of town and they still utilized technology to make sure my day was the best.

Used Lane for our music for both ceremony and reception. Also did a photobooth and up lighting for the wedding. Wow! Everything looked spectacular and amazing! The photobooth was a ton of fun and the music was great! Highly recommend!

Mark and his assistant did an absolutely incredible job at our daughter's wedding reception. We were so pleased with the way it all went. They were professional, nicely dressed, courteous, and fun! The music was great and slideshow looked wonderful on the big screen. The administrative staff, from Dee Dee early on to Vivian at the end, walked us through all the planning and were so helpful answering our questions. Our guests loved our entertainment. Everyone had a blast! Five Star was an important part of making our day the incredible day that it was.

Our DJ Cory was excellent! We was entertaining, and played the perfect music to get people moving.

We had Five Star do my daughter's wedding ceremony and reception. Mark did an AWESOME job as our wedding reception coordinator. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night and our guests could not stop saying what a great time they had. I would highly recommend Five Star!!!

Our wedding went off without a hitch with a big help from Five Star. They provided music and coordination for the ceremony and reception. Our DJ was awesome and professional. My only wish that I had for our wedding was for everyone to have a great time. Ive been to too many weddings where the party never gets started and thanks to Five start that definitely wasn't the case for our wedding.

We used Five-Star Entertainment for our wedding reception and they are "The Best" in the business. We used their DJ services and the photo booth. The photo booth was a hit with everyone and was a fun add on for the reception. Mark Pezzella was our DJ and MC and he was amazing. He was there early making sure that the caterer was in place, as well as the florist and he even lit the candles before we arrived at the venue. Everything was so organized, we had several people tell us how organized everything was, and how smoothly everything went, even the buffet line was orderly. We liked the fact that Mark and his staff met with us a few weeks before the wedding to get names and numbers and to plan the entire program for the evening. We have attended events where the DJ runs out to get this info when the bride and groom arrive, but not Five-Star. They are very professional. My mom and I did not have to worry about a thing, Mark was a great coordinator and MC and he kept the dance floor full the entire evening. We paid a few extra dollars because we requested a specific DJ but their prices are reasonable and their services are worth the money. We will surely be using them again and we recommend them to everyone. Five-Star Entertainment made our wedding reception a night to remember.

Mark Pezella and his staff at Five Star Entertainment were exceptional! From the 1st meeting through the end of the event, their focus was on customer service and making all our dreams come true! We were lucky enough to have Mark at our wedding in May of this year. The dynamic room lighting was breathtaking as we walked into the tent. It was just like a Fairy Tale. Mark is more than JUST A DJ...he is an event coordinator. He introduced the wedding party, and kept things moving right along with the cake cutting, bouquet toss and garter toss. The Anniversary Dance was a hit and got EVERYONE out on the dance floor. He knew exactly how to read the crowd and when to really crank it up! The photo booth was a hit! We had toddlers to grandparents striking a pose...also served as great party favors! I highly recommend Five Star Entertainment...they are professional, courteous, knowledgeable and full of energy and enthusiasm. My family has already booked him for my brother's wedding next summer!
