s outstanding and everyone raved about it. They made a custom menu for us and designed a custom intimate reception so we could have exactly what we wanted. Christa even helped coordinate the our cakes with the bakery so we didn't have to. The pricing was extremely reasonable and the venue as a whole was extremely flexible and accommodating. They were open for wine tastings on the day of our wedding and none of our guests even noticed (we didn't either). If I could plan our wedding all over again, I would do it exactly the same way with Flag Hill. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get married in New England.

Christa was always there when we needed her, set up meetings and kept us updated every step of the way. As a wedding coordinator myself it was important to find someone I trusted and I found so much more. Our wedding was absolutely perfect because of her. Our day of couldn’t have been any better. Our decorations were put out exactly as we imagined and everything was handled so well. Our timeline was followed to a T. At one point during pictures Christa was even following me with my drink to make sure I had something and always checking to make sure we ate. Just so caring! The food was by far superior to any place I had ever been. Hands down the best steak I have ever had in my life. Our guests are still talking about the food to this day! Maddie, thank you so much for all of your help day of as well. You were great to work with from making sure we ate dinner to packing all of our decorations up and getting our sparkler send off together! You and Brian have the most beautiful wedding venue and we will forever be grateful to you all! We highly recommended you all to any couple getting married! on the outdoor ceremony space as well as the reception area overlooks the vineyards - it's absolutely incredible! We got married at the end of August and the grapes were fully grown on the vines...it made for amazing pictures! Everything about our wedding at Flag Hill was perfect and we are so thankful for Christa and Maddie as they made it so special for us. They were both an absolute joy to work with. When Christa first gave us a tour of the venue, she did such an incredible job making us feel like it’s where we belonged. By the end of the tour, it was a no brainer to choose Flag Hill and start working with Christa and her team. She provided us with a list of preferred vendors (all of which were amazing) and was always available to us when we had questions leading up to the big day. Both Christa and Maddie made sure that when our wedding day arrived, everything was in place so that we didn't have to worry about a thing – and that’s exactly how it was! So many guests came up to us at the end of the night telling us how much they loved the venue and that it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended! Thank you so much Christa, Maddie and the entire staff at Flag Hill for making our wedding day a dream come true. We are still smiling from ear to ear!!

We had so many other friends who were planning to get married this year and were let down by their venues and were overly jealous of the professionalism, timeliness, empathy, and kindness Flag Hill showed us. The portal system Flag Hill uses to keep track of all communication, expenses, and documents made keeping track of everything a breeze! We always knew what was going on, when payments were due, and what we'd selected for our wedding package with a breakdown of exactly what we were paying for. You also get an e-mail alert any time a comment is posted, so we never had to worry about forgetting anything. The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect -- Christa made sure I (as the bride) always knew what was going on, even when I was hiding in the bridal suite. She made sure my husband and I had time to breathe, have a bite to eat, and enjoy the day without getting swept up in the chaos of the day. Overall, 12/10 for Flag Hill! We honestly couldn't have chosen a better venue -- we can't wait to return again and relive our wedding every time we walk through the vineyard.

ve much information before visiting. We met Christa, FH’s Catering and Events Manager, and she took us in the wedding suite to get to know us a bit better, what we were looking for, and our budget. I FEEL I HAVE TO NOTE THIS- that was something that at first Chris and I were confused about. Usually the event coordinator would show us the venue all the bells and whistles and then we would go over pricing. Christa wanted to make sure that FH could accommodate our needs and budget before we fell in love with something that wouldn’t work. This gave us such a more comforting and excited outlook when we looked at the venue, falling in love with it, knowing it had everything we needed (as well as wanted) and was in budget. Christa was AMAZING, you could tell she was so genuinely excited for us and so proud of this venue and the work they do. There was no hesitation, this was our reception venue. For the next 2 years Christa and the AMAZING team at FH made sure we had and were doing everything we needed to and made it FUN! At the wedding Christa and Maddie (FH Event Coordinator) were on point and made sure everything ran smooth and everyone was having a good time, even getting stains out of bridesmaids dresses. Christa also made it her mission to make sure Chris and I were enjoying our wedding to the fullest. Sneaking us sips of our drinks in between taking pictures and making sure we got all the food! Our guests were blow away with how beautiful the venue was and we were happy that there was something for everyone to do. If dancing wasn’t your thing, they had lawn games as well as a separate area for a cigar bar, or just enjoying the beautiful sunset over the vineyard. As mentioned, even if you’re not looking for a wedding venue, just go and visit Flag Hill for a tour and tasting or any one of the fun events they put on. Chris and I are so happy we will be able to continue to visit this place that holds such a special place in our hearts for a tasting, chef’s dinner, or bubbly brunch and see people who feel like friends.

iful, we did not have to bring too much décor and the great thing about this venue is that there was something for everyone. We had a cigar tent on one end, while on the complete opposite side there was corn hole and giant jenga games happening in addition to the tent where people could easily get a drink and start dancing! The staff there was wonderful to work with. Christa and Maddie are truly the best coordinators that I could have ever asked for. They were able to make my vision become a reality and made the planning process much easier. They asked questions I would have never thought of to help make the day that much more spectacular. They were attentive, easy to work with, stuck with the timeline we had made, and executed the day perfectly. The food and drinks were great and all my guests thought everything was beautiful and that they were well taken care of. I would HIGHLY recommend Flag Hill for any future couple!

Every single guest of the wedding said it was the best wedding they have been to, from the venue to the food, to the lawn games, not a single detail was missed and the service they received from bartenders to wait staff was impeccable. As a bride who hosts lots of her own gatherings, knowing that my family and friends were treated like family and friends by Flag Hill means the world to me. The food was perfect, we improvised the menu because the Groom is on a competition BBQ team and all things must be BBQ. They took the vision and again made it come to life, having our BBQ team members present and happy with the meal was a huge win as they have very specific taste buds. Hats off to the Chef and kitchen staff!!! Wine and Spirits, again we have very specific tastes and those were met and exceeded. The bourbon toast for the Groom, the sparkling cayuga is the perfect champagne like blend for my very champagne snob tastes. One of our favorite parts of planning the wedding and gifting to our bridal party and family throughout the process was sharing the wines and spirits. Each of our party members received something special that fit their personal tastes for wine or spirits. All of our guests loved trying the different wine and spirits through out the evening. Christa Maddie and Nicole helped my bridal party to have my shower at Flag Hill in their function room. Again, the food the service all of it was amazing and all of the guests were thrilled. It was the perfect preview to the wedding day. Thank you is not enough, after being together for 8 years and having a proposal come out of the blue and putting together a fairy tale wedding in a reasonable budget in roughly 6 months seemed like an impossible thing. I firmly believe that none of it would have been possible without the love and support of Brian, Maddie, Christa and all of the staff at Flag Hill. We could not recommend Flag Hill enough to family and friends, our wedding guests are currently seeking out married couples to get invited to return and we have discussed budgeting for an annual anniversary party each year, we LOVE Flag Hill and all of their staff so much. We look forward to finding a reason to have another event with you soon, in the mean time we will be by for the wine and spirits!

She always eased my mind and offered multiple solutions to any dilemma. We were probably a bit high-maintenance, but Christa and Maddie were able to make all of our requests a possibility. They are professionals in every sense of the word and know every tip and trick - they could truly write a book on events! They have a great vendor list- everyone we worked with was a master of their craft. An absolutely perfect day- they executed our vision flawlessly - we would 1000% recommend this venue and will most certainly be back!

Who else has a fire pit with s'more bar, lawn Jenga, acres of land, farm to table food all overlooking the most breathtaking vineyard? Flag Hill is a hidden gem that was local for our friends and family to travel to. The staff made us feel welcome every time we visited. I had envisioned what the tent would look like but Christa and Maddie took my vision and went above and beyond to make my wedding a fairytale. When I saw the tent and tables before guests arrived tears started immediately. Anytime I had questions or concerns while planning I had immediate responses. Every idea I wanted they executed, including ending the night with a sparkler send off. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Flag Hill, I have even gone to brunch and bubbly events with friends and family because the food and atmosphere you cannot beat. If you are thinking of visiting Flag Hill for your event DO IT. You will not regret it. I know people often will say, "something will go wrong on your wedding day" but NOTHING went wrong. They created the PERFECT day. I cannot thank them enough!!

She was flexible with our menu, as we had tried some things at Flag Hill's Mother's Day Brunch and wanted to add them to our wedding. She also was extremely helpful in finding vendors that went with our vision. Maddie was an outstanding decorator and night-of coordinator. I didn't have very specific directions for my decorations, and she did an amazing job. She was SO EXTREMELY HELPFUL the day of; I can't even put it into words. The entire staff was great to work with, and some of the waiters even joined us on the dance floor! We had so many comments from our guests and bridal party about how seamless our day was and how helpful the staff was. I would without a doubt recommend Flag Hill to anyone who wants great food, unbelievable scenery, and wonderful people to work with. Thank you so much for making our day perfect!

Christa's energy leading up to the wedding but more specifically for our rehearsal and actual wedding was amazing. So many of our family members commented on how friendly, professional and efficient she is. Planning our wedding was much easier with their prompt responses, great recommendations and knowledge and experience they bring to the table. The food was delicious and a HUGE shout out to Cassey who baked our wedding cake that everyone also raved about. The actual space is beautiful at Flag Hill and is not only one of the more affordable options but in my opinion, one of the best options for a winery wedding in NH. Their wines and spirits are so so good this is just a great bonus when getting married there. We cannot recommend having your wedding at Flag Hill enough, you will be happy you did!!!

Flag Hill has made her the best asset that Flag Hill has to offer for your wedding day. Planning with Christa and Maddie was seamless. You can tell they love what they do and strive to make your wedding as wonderful as possible while accommodating all of your needs We chose Flag Hill for the ceremony space, which is so beautiful and overlooks the vineyard behind. The ceremony is shaded under large trees for hot days, so it was a perfect location for us. I loved the openness of the area; all of our wedding guests took time to go and explore the grounds while enjoying cocktail hour, and everyone had a great time. The wedding day itself was perfect. Christa was with me for all questions and was so organized in getting everyone where they needed to be for the ceremony and reception, and even organized a group shot of us and all of our guests right after the ceremony. I highly reccomend Flag Hill, I cannot say enough great things about it. We were and still are so happy with our decision!!

As soon as my mom, mother in law and I walked into Flag Hill we knew this was the place that I was going to marry the love of my life- It was exactly what we were looking for. Christa greeted us as we arrived and made us feel right at home. We took a tour of the grounds and sites for both the ceremony and reception- All of which were stunning. One huge detail was that if for any reason we had bad weather on the day of the wedding they have a back up location separate from the reception area. As others have said in previous posts, the staff at Flag Hill are phenomenal. Christa and Maddie are hands down the best coordinators to work with, they always made me feel super confident in how the wedding would turn out ( and it turned out better than I could have ever dreamed). All of the other staff at Flag Hill also deserve a HUGE shout-out, The chef and his team, the service staff, the bartenders and any other staff member we came in contact with. I could go on and on and on about how amazing it was to work with this venue but I highly recommend taking a trip there and checking it out yourself! Cheers!

e day before the wedding I showed up with about a million signs, a nervous wreck not knowing where things were even going to go. They took care of EVERYTHING. When I showed up for my wedding the next day it was like a dream come true. My wedding day was absolutely beautiful and they were a large part of that. Flag Hill is a gorgeous venue and the staff their is amazing.

came across Flag Hill. It was the only place we visited and we instantly fell in love with the venue. It is a beautifully landscaped winery where you can clearly understand their love for cultivating nature resources to make great food, wine and liquor. The vegetable and herb garden they have onsite is used in the kitchen along with other farm grown resources from around the Lee area. The owner, wedding coordinators and staff really make the experience everything it can be. Working with Christa and Maddie (Wedding Coordinators) was an easy experience. Their staff was very accommodating and understands this is a special day even though they do it all season long. The owner and the men that work with him in the vineyard and distillery take pride in the work they do daily to make delicious wine and liquor. If you choose to have your wedding here, you are able to walk through the vineyard instead of just looking from afar. This is definitely a place to check out when looking at wedding venues.

She and her team had everything under control during the rehearsal and the day of. They were never in the way, but were somehow always available when we needed something! For examples, they helped with my veil, made a pitcher of my dad's favorite drink, and even closed part of the tent near one of our elderly relatives when they noticed she was cold. They also had drinks made and appetizers ready for the wedding party after the ceremony so we had a chance to enjoy before we were off to take pictures. Everyone raved about the food, the drinks, and the service. All I had to do was drop off my decorations and they arranged everything so beautifully. I would definitely recommend Flag Hill to any bride and groom looking for a beautiful, easy-going, and fun venue for their wedding!

Everything was flawless and our tents looked absolutely magical. I honestly wish I could get married here yearly because I can't quite come to terms with the best day of our lives coming and going so quickly. This is absolutely the PERFECT New England venue!!!

We had passed apps, stationary apps, carving stations and a pasta station. So many people commented on how good the food was. It started raining right after our ceremony and outdoor photos were taken but that didn't stop us from having the time of our lives. The tent walls were dropped down so the rain was a non-issue. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding day!

Drinks were good and the sangria bar was a big hit. We had a forecast of rain for the entire wedding day, so the staff had a "plan b" ready and waiting in case the ceremony could not be outdoors as planned. Thankfully the rain held out for about an hour, and we were able to get married under the beautiful trees and pergola. Not only did they set everything up for me (I dropped it all off at the rehearsal), but when I saw it all the day of, it was better than I could have done myself. I was so excited it turned out so well, because not being able to help with your own vision is a tough thing to do. They pulled it off! AND I didn't have to worry about anything the day of. When all was said and done, almost every one of my guests approached me and said how beautiful and perfect the venue is, and some even hinted at booking their own there because of how impressed they were! And I couldn't hear enough good things about the food! They did make a plate for me and my husband so we didn't have to worry about the buffet. I only wish they had made us a plate of appetizers also, that was what we were most excited about!! Our day was perfect, thank you to Christa and everybody else at Flag Hill!

June, I received a response to an email by the general manager stating Christine no longer worked at Flag Hill. I was a little nervous but the general manager, Heather said she would be taking over for Christine and it should remain a seamless transition. I booked a meeting with Heather to go over everything for the wedding a week later. We ran through time lines and discussed how we would like all the details of the wedding to go. I kept in touch via email after that to discuss any other questions that came up. When I arrived for the rehearsal the day before my wedding it was as if Heather and I had never discussed anything. It was obvious that all the paperwork I had filled out with her was clearly not reviewed prior to us meeting. The day of the wedding came and we arrived to the venue to pouring rain. We had paid to arrive an hour early so we could do a first look which we did in the tent. After our first look the rain cleared up so we could still have the ceremony outside. The venue did not wipe down the soaking wet chairs, leaving it for the groomsmen to do. We had the ceremony and then took pictures. After the pictures we went to go back to the bridal room to clean the mud off my wedding gown. Heather arrived and said that the wedding party was waiting, ready to be announced. When I went down to the tent my wedding party was scattered all throughout the guests. Clearly the venue had not communicated with them. My photographers had to go and round everyone up. At this point I was really beginning to get frustrated with the venue staff. Throughout our wedding meal I had numerous guests come up to me to complain that the staff had been extremely rude to them. Two different people were refused a meal because they did not have a place card in front of them. Not only was that ridiculous to begin with, but I had 15 people unable to make it to the wedding at the last minute so there were more than enough meals to go around. A fifth person complained to me that their table never received bread and were told too bad, there is none left. Heather, the general manager had left for the day. Two other women were in charge of the wedding at that point but they were nowhere to be found. When I got back to my table the waitstaff had cleared away my meal. The next issue arose after cutting the cake. Instead of serving the cake, the staff piled slices on a table in the back of the room. It seemed as if the venue put forth the least amount of effort throughout the entire night. Towards the end of the night I had even more guests complaining that staff had been rude to them. They closed the bar without calling last call while people were in line and refused to serve them drinks. At this point one of the wedding ladies was there and I told her how I was utterly disappointed in the lack of professionalism of the staff. After the wedding we noticed on the invoice that we never met the limit for our payment towards the open bar yet they had charged guests for drinks for the last hour of the night. So we are left wondering if the venue double charged for drinks! All in all it is a beautiful venue but the loss of their event planner has clearly impacted their level of professionalism.

visited the winery a year ago, Frank the owner gave us a tour, showed us a video and went over all the details of hosting an event there. We were immediately in love with the beautiful surroundings and appreciated Frank's clarity- when planning a wedding the fine print can get blurry- this was not the case at Flag Hill. We also could see that we were dealing with a group of professionals that understood weddings and had a great deal of experience under their belts. This is when we met Christine the Director of Events, and our life line for the next year of planning. From the get-go we could see that Christine is detail oriented and organized, but fun. We were planning a wedding, its supposed to be fun! We had several meetings with Christine throughout the year, each meeting was prefaced by documents of things we should be thinking about and tips for where we were in the planning process at the time. This was appreciated and helped us stay on track. We accomplished a great deal in the meetings but it was always fun- and usually included a tasting or two or Flag Hill's exceptional wines and spirits. New England wines can get a bad rap for being too sweet, try these wines, they're different and delicious. And the John Stark Vodka? Amazing, and made from local apples! The day before our wedding had friends and family galore and a lot to accomplish before our big day. As the bride, I was feeling really stressed- there were just so many details. I felt an immediate relief that afternoon when the entire party descended upon Flag Hill with our decorations etc and we reviewed the set up and final details with Christine and Pam. We knew our event was in good hands, copious notes had been taken and everything would be perfect. We left Flag Hill to head to our rehearsal at the church and our rehearsal dinner, totally at ease. Our wedding day was perfect, as the bride I know I'm biased, but it was. We had perfect weather, our ceremony was beautiful and personal and we arrived at Flag Hill ready to party. The grounds are really well cared for and were just gorgeous on that July night, with gentle breezes coming off the vineyard into the tent. We had a smaller wedding at 115 but the space filled well- I can see how larger groups would fit comfortably but a group our size didn't feel lonely in the space either. Chinese lanterns gave great ambiance and we all appreciated the blacktop floor and real dance floor under the tent- who wants to deal with a dirt floor when you're in formal wear? My groom and I were relaxed all night. Our friends and family enjoyed signature cocktails we had worked with Christine and the Flag Hill spirits to create and the DJ kept the dance floor packed. Christine and her crew kept things organized and out of our sight, she made sure we were where we were supposed to be (ie cake cutting) but never rushed us or interrupted. We enjoyed the the late night french fries and a sparkler exit- details again coordinated by Flag Hill so that we could just enjoy. For an overall wonderful experience my husband and I would recommend the team at Flag Hill. Yes, the vineyard is gorgeous, the ceremony site is breathtakingly beautiful and the options for the menu are a plenty - but Heather makes sure you have all the information you need to make decisions, when you need it. Heather made our wedding the perfect day it was. Something every bride is looking for! We've received so many compliments from our guests on choosing Flag Hill for the wedding too!

other details without stress. We were married in September right when it's starting to get chilly in NH. There's a big white party tent that our reception was held in which made for great pictures and for keeping warmth in. Christine - the event coordinator - was amazing. I can't say enough positive things about her. She was ever present but never in the way during our wedding. She was happy to assist, took care of things I didn't even know needed taking care of and was professional to a T. Prior to the wedding any time we needed to get in touch with her we would call or e mail and within 24 hours we would have a response. She thought of things we never would have and it made a huge difference on our day. The location makes for a gorgeous backdrop for pictures. The vines, the tent, the old barn, it was all stunning and captured well in our pictures. I really have no complaints or any words of advice for booking this venue.

f the wedding, Flag Hill discontinued their packages. They advised neither us, nor the vendors (who we chose through Flag Hill's $X per person vendor package) of this change. The result- we had to come up with last minute funds 2 HOURS before the ceremony to pay the florist and the DJ, and the cake never showed up because no one called in a deposit. Also, the JP said my name incorrectly during the entire ceremony, they served the wrong wine during the wine pour (we selected a different white wine than the one they served) and they put cheese on our selected vegan appetizer. I also never got an apology for the mishap. Otherwise, the food was very good, the bar prices reasonable, and the wine is quite good as well.
