Fleur de Lis Event Center

Fleur de Lis Event Center is an all-inclusive wedding and event venue in Mandeville, Louisiana, on the Northshore, about 35 minutes from New Orleans across the Causeway. The Pontchartrain Ballroom accommodates weddings of 300, 400 and up to 500 guests, the Jazz Ballroom 50 to 300, and our Private Restaurant up to 100. There is no guest minimum. Facilities Housed in a former movie theater and designed around New Orleans architecture, the venue features real gas lighting, brick detail, wrought iron and fiber-optic star ceilings. Pontchartrain adds a functional balcony seating nearly 100, a large dance floor and an illuminated architectural cake backdrop. Jazz has two indoor water fountains, a fabric-and-string-light ceiling and a dedicated picture room. Each ballroom is fully self-contained, with its own entrance, restrooms, bar, private New Orleans-style courtyard, and bridal and groom getting-ready suites. Two weddings can run the same evening without either affecting the other. Free on-site parking, with overflow adjoining. Ceremonies Outdoor courtyard ceremonies take place beneath a permanent wrought-iron dome with chandelier and string lighting. Indoor ceremonies are held in your own ballroom. If weather moves a ceremony inside, it stays in your ballroom, staff clear the chairs within minutes, and there is no additional rain-plan charge. Pricing Wedding pricing is a room rental plus $45 per guest. The $45 covers food, the open bar and all staffing, with no separate service or staffing charge. Room rental runs $2,000 to $8,000 depending on ballroom, day and month. A 150-guest wedding typically totals $8,750 to $14,750 before tax. Moving off Saturday evening or into an off-peak month meaningfully lowers the total. What's Included Ballroom, tables and chairs, white linens, china and glassware, centerpieces, access to an extensive in-house décor collection, sweetheart table, cake and gift tables, setup, breakdown and cleanup. Also included is comprehensive on-site wedding coordination: a lead bridal coordinator and bridal assistant who plan your timeline, contact your outside vendors the week before, direct the ceremony and run the reception. This is more than day-of coordination. Cake cutting and serving are included at no charge. The Fairytale Dinner gives the newlyweds private time to eat after photographs, before their grand entrance. Food and Bar Every ballroom wedding includes all 18 hand-passed hors d'oeuvres, a full Louisiana buffet and staffed action stations, most prepared in our on-site kitchen: crab cakes, bacon-wrapped shrimp, boudin egg rolls, mini muffulettas, seafood gumbo, Cajun jambalaya, plus Shrimp & Grits and Beef Tips stations. Food is available as guests enter, so nobody waits in one buffet line. The House Plus Wine open bar runs the full three-hour reception, with upgrades available. Optional Ceremony, in-house DJ, officiant, rehearsal, photo booths, stage, security and additional time.
