I cannot shout from the rooftops about how amazing Fleurs Du Soleil is.
I recently got married at Folktale Winery in Carmel Valley and was pointed to Fleurs Du Soleil by the venue...
and the photographer and I see why (photos attached - not even professional photos and look how amazing the flowers look).
For starters: The staff are INCREDIBLE to work with. Kim, the owner, took over my account briefly after our artist had left and was a gem to work with. She understood exactly what I was looking for when I talked about wanting to just enhance the venue and I never once felt like I was being upcharged or was being sold on something I didn't want. She was very reasonably priced and worked with me to accomodate my budget, not to mention very sweet to chat with.
I was absolutely overwhelmed and shell shocked with how gorgeous our flowers were and felt Fleurs even over delivered on what was contracted. Guests STILL are gushing to me a month later about my flowers!!
One final HUGE shoutout to Hannah, our lead designer that worked with me in the month leading up to the wedding. Not only was she incredibly quick with a reply, but her warm, energetic artistic personality translated into the client experience (which as a bride, was SO needed due to stress in other areas). I let her know I fully trusted her and gave her creative license and WOW SHE BLEW ME AWAY. Hannah just moved away from the Monterey area, but I would highly recommend her and will endorse her work to anyone who asks. She is incredibly talented and a phenomenal human.
Brides - if you want a wonderful team of incredible women, VERY talented florists and a small business that will be fully price transparant, look no further!!
I highly recommend this florist, they are extremely talented. They did such an amazing job with our wedding flowers! We had a small intimate wedding on the beach and ordered an arc...
h, bouquets, boutonnières and lei’s and all were stunning and beautiful. We received so many compliments on the flowers. I requested tropical flowers and it’s exactly what they delivered. I did go over the budget I set aside for the flowers but, to me, it was completely worth it. I was worried there might be an issue with communication since we live out of town, but we spoke on the phone several times and communicated via email without any issues. They were extremely helpful, professional, friendly and easy to work with.
Fleurs du Soleil exceeded our expectations - our photographer recommended them, and we wanted someone local to the Central Coast. They did not disappoint - their team made the enti...
re floral planning process so easy. They responded quickly after I submitted an inquiry, and I had a great exploratory call with Paige. We talked through our vision, likes & dislikes, and she was super transparent about pricing, scheduling, and next steps. I loved their planning process & the collaborative "vision board" - they make updates quickly upon request, and were always so positive and easy to work with. I still can't get over how gorgeous our wedding flowers were, and they held up even in a CA heat wave. Everyone commented on their beauty, and I'm so happy we used Fleurs du Soleil! Thank you!
Fleurs du Soleil made most beautiful, unique and stunning flowers for our wedding in Big Sur this August! We were on quite the budget, and while staying within our price range, the...
bouquets they made truly exceeded our expectations. I feel like they completely understood the vision and look I was going for. I had no idea how everything would turn out, but when the florals arrived I was blown away. Everything was fresh, it looked wild and organic, the colors went beautifully with the blue dresses and decorations. I've never seen such beautiful flowers and arrangements. The loose florals and stems they gave us to decorate with on our own were perfect as well and looked perfect on our tables and around the venue. Communication was great, everyone I spoke with was attentive and responsive. They have consultations so you can bounce around ideas, get recommendations and advice, which was super helpful. I am so happy I found Fleurs du Soleil and was able to work with them. Fleurs du Soleil made my wedding floral dreams come true and I am extremely thankful!
I can't sing their praises enough!! I worked with Kim & Meghan for our wedding florals in October 2022 and they worked with our budget and executed our vision perfectly! Everything...
from the color palette, details on the tables - they have such a keen eye for floral and we were so happy with the bouquets, boutonnières, and corsages. We got a ton of compliments on the arrangements and while we already knew their work is incredible and speaks for itself, it was so great to hear that our guests loved it all, too! Kim & Meghan, we can't thank you enough for your professionalism and bringing our vision to life exactly how we envisioned it! We highly recommend Fleurs Du Soleil for all of your floral needs!!!
Kim did a fantastic job on the flowers for my wedding. It small because of COVID but that didn't bother her. She took the time to speak with me on the phone, listened to my prefere...
nces and had me send her some examples of what I liked. Because I didn't live in the area, everything was done over email and phone as we didn't have any in person interaction. I was SO PLEASED with the absolutely GORGEOUS flowers she provided for our wedding, especially my bouquet and my bridesmaid's bouquets. She nailed the colors, the flowers - everything. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the flowers were.I absolutely LOVED them and would highly recommend their services to anyone needing floral!!
I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful bouquets and boutonnières created by Fleurs du Soleil for my wedding day on October 13, 2019. The owner Kim took the time to meet with m...
e and my mom to discuss my vision, and drew up a beautiful proposal for me to review. She and her associates were very receptive to my thoughts, but also offered their own insights regarding cohesiveness and color coordination. One of the things I appreciated most about Kim and the way she conducted business was that she did not impose a minimum cost for services simply because the event was a wedding, and the focus was only on making my vision come to life. Everyone was very helpful from start to finish, and I’m so grateful to have used their floral services. Thank you Kim!
I picked up my flowers the day before the wedding. Where we were having the ceremony, I wouldn't have service and it wasn't held at a typical venue so it was easier for everyone t...
his way. I got the flowers I asked for, they just weren't in the color scheme I had shown them pictures of. They asked for the colors that everyone in the party was wearing so they could coordinate the bouquets and boutonnieres but it was totally. They also said it would bee best to place them in the fridge, but turned out the fridge was too cold and I had half dead flowers the day of my wedding.
Kim is great and the final outcome was beautiful. I did have an appointment scheduled from out of state and flew in to meet with her and her staff did not inform me she wouldn't be...
there until I walked in the door! But Kim did accomodate my schedule the next day and we had a long meeting to get everything done. On the day of the wedding her staff was great and promp and made sure I was happy with everything.
In our initial meeting with Kim England she did an excellent job of selling her creativity and product – that is why we hired her to do our wedding flower. Throughout the planning ...
process, it seemed like she did a great job about setting up meetings and documenting any changes we made to our order. Fleurs du Soleil always sent us a revised contract after every meeting so that we could verify the changes and ensure we were all on the same page.
On the wedding day, we did not get what we paid for. The bridesmaid bouquets were TINY and wilting when they were delivered. We paid $100 per bouquet ($600 total for bridesmaids) and expected very full bouquets – not the case. Many of the girls’ flowers were falling off within the first couple of hours. Very embarrassing. I had also requested calla lilies as my first choice flower as an accent in the bouquets and also for the boutonnieres. I saw them all week at the grocery store and other florists, but Fleurs du Soleil said they could not find them. Also, two of the five groomsmen boutonnieres broke within the first hour of being delivered – and these are not inexperienced groomsmen! Our centerpieces were disappointing as well – not full and included more foliage than flowers.
We hired Fleurs du Soleil for their portfolio’s creativity but after working with them, it seems like they are all about minimizing their costs in any way possible. Maybe good for their business in the short term, but it’s bad for brides and it will eventually catch up to them. I do not recommend them.
Kim England, Siobhan, & the crew did a FANTASTIC job with our wedding...and they were able to work with our limited budget as well, which was SO nice of them. My bouquet was e...
xactly what I wanted, all of the flowers were delivered exactly when they were supposed to be, everything was very fresh and lovely - and the centerpieces were even more superb than I had hoped!
Fleurs du Soleil really worked their magic at my wedding, and I'll forever be grateful. I highly recommend their services.
End result was absolutely beautiful she totally got my 'vision' even though I wasn't very good at describing what I was wanting the flowers were one of my favorite parts of the w...
