Fleurs du Soleil

I picked up my flowers the day before the wedding. Where we were having the ceremony, I wouldn't have service and it wasn't held at a typical venue so it was easier for everyone this way. I got the flowers I asked for, they just weren't in the color scheme I had shown them pictures of. They asked for the colors that everyone in the party was wearing so they could coordinate the bouquets and boutonnieres but it was totally. They also said it would bee best to place them in the fridge, but turned out the fridge was too cold and I had half dead flowers the day of my wedding.

Kim is great and the final outcome was beautiful. I did have an appointment scheduled from out of state and flew in to meet with her and her staff did not inform me she wouldn't be there until I walked in the door! But Kim did accomodate my schedule the next day and we had a long meeting to get everything done. On the day of the wedding her staff was great and promp and made sure I was happy with everything.

In our initial meeting with Kim England she did an excellent job of selling her creativity and product – that is why we hired her to do our wedding flower. Throughout the planning process, it seemed like she did a great job about setting up meetings and documenting any changes we made to our order. Fleurs du Soleil always sent us a revised contract after every meeting so that we could verify the changes and ensure we were all on the same page. On the wedding day, we did not get what we paid for. The bridesmaid bouquets were TINY and wilting when they were delivered. We paid $100 per bouquet ($600 total for bridesmaids) and expected very full bouquets – not the case. Many of the girls’ flowers were falling off within the first couple of hours. Very embarrassing. I had also requested calla lilies as my first choice flower as an accent in the bouquets and also for the boutonnieres. I saw them all week at the grocery store and other florists, but Fleurs du Soleil said they could not find them. Also, two of the five groomsmen boutonnieres broke within the first hour of being delivered – and these are not inexperienced groomsmen! Our centerpieces were disappointing as well – not full and included more foliage than flowers. We hired Fleurs du Soleil for their portfolio’s creativity but after working with them, it seems like they are all about minimizing their costs in any way possible. Maybe good for their business in the short term, but it’s bad for brides and it will eventually catch up to them. I do not recommend them.

Kim England, Siobhan, & the crew did a FANTASTIC job with our wedding...and they were able to work with our limited budget as well, which was SO nice of them. My bouquet was exactly what I wanted, all of the flowers were delivered exactly when they were supposed to be, everything was very fresh and lovely - and the centerpieces were even more superb than I had hoped! Fleurs du Soleil really worked their magic at my wedding, and I'll forever be grateful. I highly recommend their services.
