From the moment we met Sharon, we knew she would be reliable and could be trusted to handle florals for our wedding day, without requiring too much on our end. We were not disappointed! Several guests at our wedding commented that they were the best wedding floral work they had ever seen, and we can't help but agree!! One of, if not our absolute favorite vendors we worked with. Highly recommended!!

I needed flowers for an important event and had very little notice. Sharon returned my call personally and gave me her undivided attention. I liked her combination of professionalism and genuine friendliness. She was very open to my ideas and clear about what could/couldn't be achieved because it was last minute. She was responsive to my worried texts and emails and put me at ease. She delivered and placed the arrangements herself and was invested in the overall look of the space, staying to fine-tune until the event began.

Flowers were beautiful! Exactly what I sent over from my example pictures, Sharon also helped with getting greenery on the string lights at our venue and they looked perfect.

For my wedding I was after a more non traditional, dark and romantic decor/flowers. After speaking with Sharon I felt completely comfortable that she was able to bring my vision to life! She is friendly, supportive, attentive, and was helpful with providing resources for me as a new bride. Flor Amor did arrangements for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding. Everything was so exactly as I imagined- and some! She created beautifully unique bouquets and centerpieces for our wedding that went perfectly with the dark and romantic pallet. She also created a sweet heart table that had the elements of fall added in- which was a perfect touch! I would absolutely recommend Flor Amor to anyone getting married. If you want your unique vision to come to life- Sharon is the one to call!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Sharon from beginning to the end. Sharon is knowledgeable and she asks all of the right questions to get a full understanding of your vision. For my wedding celebration, my goal was to dress up the event room with silk, rose colored table linens, candle votives and I needed the flower arrangements to pop with the right colors. The flower arrangements were absolutely beautiful!!! They did exactly what I wanted them to do, it was exactly what I envisioned, the colors were great and the flowers lasted for days (we brought some home) after our wedding celebration. Sharon was prompt, and always responsive when I would make a change or had a question. I highly recommend Flor Amor!

I spent a fair amount of our budget on florals because flowers and greenery are very important to me. In my personal time, I am also an artist who plans events for friends and family. For our wedding, I requested cream florals and extensive greenery arranged loosely and romantically. Sharon herself attached several of my visions to my floral proposal which included three images of various bohemian bridal bouquets. To make a long story short, the bouquet that was presented to me on my wedding day looked nothing like what I requested. I was devastated as I emphasized several times how important my bouquet was to me personally and from a photographic standpoint. I asked for the provided bouquet to be dismantled so that I could rearrange it. Sharon emphatically told us that she was the florist and she wanted a chance to amend her error, which I afforded her. However, the rearranged bouquet was still not appropriate. When I got a closer look at the quality of the flowers, I saw that many required pruning as they were browning along the edges. Luckily, I had ivory roses in simple arrangements that I created around the estate to greet my guests with. I purchased the loose flowers from Costco. I pulled what I could from the Costco flowers in addition to dismantling one of my aisle markers for the ceremony to create my own bouquet. Still, the bouquet was not what I had envisioned. I did not have nearly enough greens and Sharon did not bring many extra buds or greens with her. What I created was much closer to my vision and the best that I could do considering the circumstances. We were 30-60 minutes away from any establishment where I could purchase more loose flowers and only two to three hours away from my ceremony. Furthermore, the wrist corsages that were provided were mounted on black wristlets which stood out against my color scheme and looked tacky. As such, we binned them. The boutonnières that were provided wilted and died within an hour affixing them. We asked everyone to remove them as soon as they began wilting and bin them as well. These issues not only increased my stress levels insurmountably but pushed my whole wedding schedule back so that I could not take as many photos with my husband or our families. I will say that the aisle markers and pillar flowers matched my vision, which is what was the most confusing. Sharon was able to deliver about half of what she committed to in terms of accuracy. However, I felt that most of the flowers used were of poor quality and a touch old. I feel that Sharon is well intended and could do lovely work at a reasonable price. It is possible that our wedding was just a once off and if you emphasize that your florals must look almost exactly like your reference photos she can provide you with what you desire. I am unsure of how I could have been more clear as I indicated above. I usually do not write negative reviews but feel strongly about how significantly this impacted my husband and I as well as our guests on the day of our wedding. I am writing this review considering how important florals were to me on my wedding day and how much money we spent on these florals for our intimate wedding. I would say if you’re open to taking a chance with a couple of bumps in the road, book Sharon. If not, pay the extra money and go with a vendor that is more well known. I would have afforded her three stars if we did not have to bin the corsages and boutonnieres.

We had a wonderful experience with Flor Amor as our wedding florist. We got married at Umlauf. We had gotten a few different quotes from different florists and found them either exorbitantly expensive (significantly more than we were planning to spend) or not really capturing the palette we were looking for. Flor Amor was able to match our best quote and provide beautiful venue dressings, bouquets, centerpieces and greenery that fit exactly what we were looking for. Delivery was seamless and on-time. Sharon was wonderful to work with. Would highly recommend them

I could not have asked for a better place to get my florals from! I receieved so many compliments for my bouqet, flower crown, and all other florals in our wedding. They were better than I envisioned and Sharon was super helpful throughout the planning process, helping to pick things that would be best for a late Feb wedding and still fit our vision.

I wish I could leave a better review because Sharon did decorate my arch beautifully and she showed up on time, but unfortunately I was left extremely disappointed even after giving Sharon a chance to make it right. Sharon created my bridal bouquet, but I didn’t receive the flowers or look I requested. She claimed it was due to supply chain issues, which as a business owner myself I get, and don’t blame her for. What was a real issue with me is she promised a wedding vase so I can showcase my bouquet and use it as a centerpiece. She talked about the vase on the phone and the vase was also in my quote, which means I paid for the vase. During my wedding I noticed I didn’t have a vase so I ended up using a mason jar to place my bridal bouquet in. When I brought it up to Sharon she said because of the type of bouquet it’s best to just lay it flat in a little water. If this is true I’m not sure why she told me I’d get a vase on the phone or put it in my quote. I wanted a vase, and I paid for the vase, so I expect a vase. All I got were excuses and an “I’m sorry you were disappointed”. Sharon didn’t have any desire to make it right when I gave her the chance to.

Sharon was so great and thorough! We talked several times over the phone due to the distance, and was determined to achieve the look I wanted for our wedding. She was punctual on the day of and I was so pleased with the flowers! They were arranged perfectly! She was a pleasure to work with!!

I absolutely loved working with Sharon at Flor Amor!!! She was extremely responsive to any and all questions & changes I wanted to make AND came in a timely manner to set it all up. Sharon made sure to give me options for my budget that looked stunning. All of the aisle flowers, bouquets, and corsages were gorgeous and were exactly what I was looking for. My bridal bouquet was stunning and stole the show in all the photos! The cocktail hour and table center pieces were so beautiful, over a week later and I’m still getting compliments! The biggest bonus was that she was ready! I never had to direct or baby her on what to do, she came in a handled it all on her own! Thank you Flor Amor!

Not one petal was out of place! I was so pleased with the floral arrangements that I really could not see much else at my wedding. The bouquet was exquisite. And the bride and groom table was so classy. We spent a good budget for the arrangements and we were not disappointed. Our theme was mostly white and the effect was impressive. These were high-quality flowers, and lots of them!

Sharon with Flor Amor did an incredible job creating all the beautiful flowers for the most perfect wedding. I received so many comments on how beautiful the flowers were and the staff at the hotel were elated when I told them they could take all the flowers home after the wedding. I would highly recommend Flor Amor for an special occasions.

Sharon was so amazing to work with, I’ll get to the absolutely BEAUTIFUL floral arrangements later...after my very first phone call with Sharon, she sent me these amazing articles about the months leading up to the wedding (I used them until the very end!)it meant a lot to me when I was first starting to plan my wedding, to have a vendor who truly cared and wanted to help in all aspects. We were supposed to get married in March but covid hit and we had to postpone. Sharon was so amazing and understanding and worked with our ever changing table changes and bridal party changes. Sharon offered tips to keep the flowers affordable for us as well. When I got those flowers th morning of my wedding, I started to cry...they were absolutely beautiful and more amazing than I imagined. She truly puts such care and artistry into every arrangement, every bouquet, and every boutonnière. We happened upon Flor Amor by chance and I’m so grateful we did. Ok I need to leave one review now before I get my professional images back and one later to post even better quality images of the magic just to gush on how truly ecstatic I am about Sharon Yancey of Flor Amor and the insane job she did on my wedding flowers!!! I already knew after meeting her as a vendor myself in the industry that she would be the florist for me. Her aesthetic creativity and professionalism is SO apparent just in the amazing person she is!! We had our initial consultation and ended up having another conversation on the phone where just talked forever vibing even more getting on the same page of just how unique we wanted to go with the vision!! I knew even after our discussion I could trust her to take it to the next level and leave it in her hands with just how amazing her artistry is!! Sharon is SO personable, SO accommodating, SO talented...I feel like the luckiest bride in the world!! Every single aspect of our wedding florals was perfect and exceeded my expectations!! I still have guests from our wedding flipping out about how cool our florals were, from colors, to hanging florals, to the coolest baby’s breath bubble installation you will ever see!! I was blown away at how beautiful our floral arrangments looked when I was about to walk down the isle. I started crying happy tears! Sharon is so great to work with, we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. She is professional, on time and does a great job with helping you pick your flowers! She is extremely knowledgeable in her field. She doesn't say she can get flowers when they are not available. Sharon will educate you on floral arrangements and what would work best with the seasons. Sharon was wonderful to work with! I had it in my mind that I could do florals myself, and I am SO glad that I went with Flor Amor. I had a few inspiration photos and a general idea of what I wanted, but she's so good at really learning how you want to feel on your wedding day, and how the florals create the ambiance. And she was so responsive and flexible leading up to the wedding when I had new ideas or changes. Sharon really helped complete my wedding vision! Her work is absolutely phenomenal and I couldn’t imagine my wedding with any other arrangements. She’s really great at working with your budget and offering suggestions in order to have everything you want within that budget. I couldn’t have asked for a better florist!!

I love Sharon! She is so awesome and did an amazing job on all of the florals for our wedding! I walked in for the first time and was blown away, it was gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. She went above and beyond and stayed in communication with me for months leading up to the wedding. She is also such a sweetheart and an amazing floral expert, she worked within my budget constraints and was such a value. I was married early April 2018 and Sharon was one of the keys to the beautiful completion of my wedding vision! I cannot stress how grateful I am to her for taking several calls with me, providing visuals, and in the end making arrangements that completely outdid my expectations. She worked magic with my budget, never pushed me to do more or less than what I wanted for my day, and earned my complete trust in doing so. Sharon was AMAZING! She brought my vision to life and at a very affordable price. She was so easy to work with, showed up to set everything up on time, and always responded promptly when I needed to make a change or had a question. I would highly recommend her!

I was trying to keep the amount of flowers and greenery to a minimum and Sharon was really great at accommodating that and making sure the arrangements we got stood out. She was really helpful in picking flowers that are beautiful but wouldn't cost a fortune. She also made sure to let me know what was feasible within our budget and what wasn't, which I really appreciated. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and greenery were really lovely. I'm really happy we went with Flor Amor!

I have never been big on flowers and Flor Amor made the fully greenery boho wedding of my dreams come true. To say I was extremely pleased is a great understatement. From the beautiful greenery head wreath to the greenery elegantly strewn across the head table (that I asked for three days before the wedding), Sharon was not only patient and flexible but made me feel confident that I would get quality work for the price that worked for me. The guests at my wedding were smitten by the arrangements and I could not be more pleased with Sharon's work.
