The owners and the space are amazing. Things felt a tad chaotic at times with communication given the coordinator we had and with it being a busy year for weddings in general, but once the issue with the coordinator was made known it was rectified by the owners. Because the coordinator we had dropped the ball nearly 30 days out there were a couple of things that fell through the cracks but those things weren’t a big deal in the long run. Highly recommend.

Flora and Field was the first wedding venue that my fiancée and I visited when looking for the perfect place. After seeing the property and venue in person we knew that we would not have to look any further. We booked a Saturday Wedding for October with the Friday night stay at the house on the property. We were assigned to Morgan as our main wedding coordinator/planner. Over the year period we were able to meet with her multiple times for various meetings. Once the final details meeting was done a couple weeks prior we knew everything would be great on wedding day. Morgan made sure everything was perfect on the day of and that things ran seamlessly even when small detail errors happened such as catering forgetting some items therefore having to run back out. She was the perfect combination of checking in with us vs not over stepping on our big day and she made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. Theresa and Joe, the owners, were fantastic and even allowed us to try some things that they were unsure of such as kegs and send off lanterns. You can tell that they take pride in their venue and it truly shows with the amazing amenities as well as the beautiful craftsmanship of the barns. Theresa and Joe even threw in something special that we did not order from them (a huge overhead floral arrangement in the dining area) which was a nice surprise as it was not in our budget. My wife and I could not have imagined a more perfect day and Flora and Field absolutely delivered on that. If you are professional with them and treat their property and time with respect, they will absolute make sure your day is perfect. Highly recommend this venue!

There are not enough words to say how amazing this venue is! Not only is it the most beautiful venue we visited, it offered the most for our money and we visited over 10 venues. On top of it being some place out of a fairytale (many of our guests told us it was the most beautiful venue they had ever seen) the staff was so kind and helpful through every step of the way . Our planner Hallie was so helpful in answering every little question I had and walking me through every detail . The owners might just be the best part, you can truly tell they love their jobs and take a vested interest in each couple. The day of my rehearsal and the day of my wedding they both were there helping with every step and you can tell their whole staff loves working for them. I was told by many of there employees that they are just the greatest people and I saw it first hand. Theresa and Joe truly made my wedding experience so stress free and magical. They blew my expectations out of the water I still get butterflies about how amazing the whole experience was. I’m sending every couple I know to them!

Flora and Field made our wedding better than I could have dreamed it could be. My wife and I chose Flora and Field because it was cost effective, the setting is beautiful and the owners were very honest and down to earth. We felt like they put their hearts and souls into making our wedding perfect and it really showed on the big day. We have absolutely no regrets about using Flora and Field and would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Flora & Field made our wedding dreams come true! Our day was absolutely magical and perfect in every way and we have Teresa, Joe, Morgan and the rest of the F&F staff to thank for that. We fell in love the very first time we visited the venue. We booked around February 2020 and got married in August 2021 and had several visits and meetings over the year and a half we spent planning. I really don’t know how we would have done the planning on our own - Morgan, our amazing coordinator thought of every last detail and I am so thankful for that! The venue is picture perfect and the floral design is out of this world. We also rented the house on property and it was so great to be able to have our families stay right on site. Our day was truly like a fairy tale and if anything went wrong we surely didn’t know it! We are forever grateful for this amazing venue and the kind, loving, caring people that own it! 💕

My husband and I booked flora and field back in January 2019. We’ve been along for the ride as the venue has grown and became even more magical than it was the first time we saw it almost 3 years ago. We were supposed to get married in September 2020, but Teresa allowed us to move our date back an entire year due to COVID. She was beyond gracious, giving, kind, flexible, and helpful during this time. Flora and field doesn’t feel like a commercialized place like every other venue. It feels like Teresa and Joe are just letting you get married at their home (which they are!). The wedding industry is full of money hungry people, who will take and take from you. Teresa and Joe are the complete opposite. They are givers. They go above and beyond for every single couple that gets married there. They deeply care about each couple they meet. Being surrounded by kind, GOOD people on your wedding day is priceless. It’s why we picked flora and field, because of the kind of people they are (and all their staff!). It’s an added bonus that their venue is the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen in my life!!! I’ve had 4 other friends get married here(because everyone wants to get married there after seeing the weddings they put on). And every single one of them had the same exact incredible experience we had. They are consistent and make every part of the day perfect, even down to the tiny details. Words can’t even describe how grateful we are to Teresa and Joe, our wedding planner Hallie, and all their other amazing staff. We didn’t even know Teresa and Joe before and now feel like we have two more special people in our lives.

Our daughter was married here on Friday. Venue is Awsome. Joe and Theresa are Awsome and all the staff was Awsome. I know it was my daughters wedding but this was by far the best experience I have ever had at a wedding venue. They made our daughters wedding day something she will never forget and we can’t think them enough. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a venue to book this place fast. Just can’t say enough about what a great time we had.

Joe and Theresa knocked it out of the park. I’ve attended multiple weddings throughout the summer and I’ve never had a less than fantastic experience. Morgan is phenomenal and did everything she could to make the day perfect for the bride and groom. Highly recommend!

Magical day at Flora for Madi and Aj’s wedding this past weekend. Staff and owners were AMAZING and so helpful. Owners were/are so gracious to open up their home and property to so many people. We had a phenomenal time. Great vendors and incredible atmosphere. Will be talking about and sharing our experience with our family and friends for YEARS.

I will start off by saying the venue is absolutely gorgeous. It was stunning really, and the bar staff, planner and photographer were also kind and extremely wonderful. That being said, for how wonderful the venue is, the owners were terrible. Midway through the reception, the owner scolded a nephew of the groom, and the best mans child. The best man told the owner he would appreciate it if you come to the parent and not talk like that to the child. The owner threw a tantrum, making a scene, kicked out the best man for simply saying don’t yell at my child, come talk to me. He continued to make a scene, and ruin a large portion of the day for the bride and groom. On top of that, the owner had also made comments that were homophobic and racist, as there were many family members of color. Two groomsmen were not allowed to walk into the reception together because the owner did not like “how that looked”. The place is beautiful, but for how much money is spent on the venue from the family, the owners made things uncomfortable, unpleasant and a nightmare.

BUYERS BEWARE! THE VENUE OWNERS WILL DICTATE YOUR WHOLE WEDDING! The venue is gorgeous, and Morgan the wedding coordinator did a phenomenal job. But she was the only venue staff who respected the bridal party. As soon as they have you sign that dotted line on the contract, they turn into completely different people and make the brides life a living hell. For months my friend had to deal with them making up false information that was never in the contract. And then they wouldn't speak to her for extended periods of time, but out of the blue tell her payments for different things were due that day. The owners care about no one but themselves, clearly if you lack emotional intelligence, the wedding business isn't for you. Now let's get to the wedding day! They controlled the entire event. As the bridal party was finishing up getting ready and doing a final look with our bride, the owner storms in the room screaming at the bride for how "late" she is. Clearly she doesn't know the wedding doesn't start till the bride is there... After we're quite literally pushed out the door, we show up to the ceremony so early people aren't even seated yet. Any minor changes the bride wanted to make, the staff would have a melt down and tell her she can't do that. I didn't know it was the venue owners decision for the bride to add in a father daughter dance??? And the groom wanted to walk down the aisle with his brothers, but they claimed that's not appropriate? Also, the best mans 2 year old picked one of the flowers at their FLOWER FARM and they tried to kick out the whole family and threaten not to give them their damage deposit back. After the all-day dictation, we got to the dance floor and Joe the owner just sat in a chair in the corner watching us all. It made us so uncomfortable. I could go on and on of how terrible these venue owners are, but I think these stories paint the picture. Please look else where for a beautiful barn venue! The base rate is astronomically high, you get nickel and dimed every step of the way. All that just for the owners to brag that some wedding parties spend $100k there... LOL not something to boast about in my opinion. And if the venue owner ends up reading this review, I highly consider you learn to be nicer human beings or get out of the wedding business.

I don’t have enough words to say how much we absolutely loved our experience with Flora and Field. Theresa, Joe, and their team went above and beyond all our expectations and thought of literally every detail possible. They are seriously the best, and we are so happy we booked with them! We had the best time and could relax knowing everything was taken care of. The venue is absolutely stunning and with the twinkle lights at night it is simply magical. So if you want minimal stress and a breathtaking venue — book now! You won’t regret!!

It was a pleasure working with Theresa and Joe. The venue is beautiful and continues to be updated to be even more so. Their experience, coupled with this beautiful venue made it an easy decision for us. Unfortunately, 2020 had other plans and we had to make the hard decision to cancel our date. They were so understanding with our situation and were able to work with us cancel our contract.

Flora and Field made our dreams come true! Theresa, Joe, and our coordinator Morgan were an absolute dream to work with and made our day so stress free. We really got the time to just enjoy the day and celebrate our love without having to worry about anything other than having fun and soaking in every moment. They took my unorganized, ever-changing, Pinterest board vision and made every detail of our day better than we could’ve ever imagined. They really worked with our vendors to ensure the day was seamless and the florals were just incredible. We cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Flora and Field for making our day so special!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!! This is not just a wedding venue but a dream come true! Theresa and Joe went above and beyond to make our wedding day exceptional. We had to postpone our wedding date due to Covid-19. Theresa, Joe and our wedding coordinator Morgan who was phenomenal, guided us every step of the way, to rescheduling vendors and how to best notify guests. I can not say enough about how beautiful this venue is. Not only is the setting amazing the flowers are gorgeous. Thank you so much for making our wedding day perfect. You will not find another venue as beautiful or filled with as much love as this one!

Ok wedding venue seekers -- look no further! Flora & Field is one stunning venue. Theresa and Joe are some of the nicest, kindest, most thoughtful people you will come across! They have thought of every tiny detail at their gorgeous venue! Theresa's floral abilities and her eye for detail and perfection will make you cry when you walk in on the wedding day and see the transformation. Great communicators; excellent customer service; gorgeous venue; amazing people!

Due to unfortunate circumstances, we had to cancel our wedding at Flora and Field. I ,however, want to say that Theresa was amazing with the cancellation and we would love to express our gratitude for her humility and grace. We are disappointed that we cannot celebrate there, but any couple who gets the privilege to work with Theresa and her staff will be in very great, truly caring hands.

Words cannot express the gratitude my husband and I have for Theresa and Joe Berger, their wonderful staff and beautiful venue. During our first venue visit, Theresa and Joe sat down with us for hours just getting to know us as people. Their warmth, thoughtfulness and genuine enthusiasm for providing couples with the absolute best experience was evident from that first meeting, and was the polar opposite of what we had previously encountered during several other venue visits in Columbus and Cincinnati. Needless to say, that first meeting was all it took for us to know Flora and Field was the one! Theresa, Joe and their staff spent an inordinate amount time making sure we were always happy and comfortable, from setting up standing planning meetings at the farm (which often lasted for hours on end, simply because we had too much fun :), to going above and beyond to find decor to provide the perfect boho-chic vibe, to endlessly hunting down hard-to-find flowers for my dream bouquet and arrangements. The team truly exceeded all of our expectations from planning to the wedding day itself. The Bergers' passion for people, and forging not just working relationships with their couples but lasting friendships, is something you simply won't find elsewhere. This is a one of a kind experience, and one that my husband and I will cherish forever.

Absolutely the best experience of our lives. My wife and I spent many weeks trying to pick out the perfect wedding venue. We visited many venues and spent a lot of our time driving through the country in search of “The right” place. Everywhere we went it get as though the venue was nice, but the staff wasn’t genuine. Or the people were nice, but the venue itself was lack luster. Fast forward a month or so into looking and my wife and I scroll over a sponsored ad on Facebook with no likes yet that has very nice photos of a venue that seems to be worth checking out. My wife messages the contact information provided and we managed to schedule a time to meet up. Little did we know we were about to embark on a journey with the best power couple we would ever encounter. We met up with Theresa and Joe and instantly hit it off. These people genuinely care about you and your special day. From our first exchange of words my soon to be bride and I knew this would be the place for us. We ended up talking for about 2:30 hours about plans for the venue as nothing was constructed yet other than the main barn. Theresa told us of plans of an outside area, a separate seating area and all of what she and Joe envisioned for their beautiful venue. This sounds crazy, but my wife and I were so certain of Theresa’s vision and drive that we took there word. Yes, we took a strangers word for their vision and paid on the spot to reserve our date with nothing more than a barn, a vision, and a plot of Grass next to it. Months later my wife and I would become wed in the promised ceremony space, enjoyed drinks with guests in the cocktail hour area and Our wedding day went off with out a single hitch, all thanks to the caring of Joe, Theresa, and the many wonderful people working at flora and field to facilitate nothing short of a magical evening. Flora and Field is beautiful. The staff is wonderful, and the owners will move heaven and earth for you to have your special day just the way you want it. I am so very thankful to have scrolled past that one ad and gained the friendships that my wife and I have now for a lifetime. We owe so much to the wonderful people of Flora and Field. I hope you consider them as you won’t find another group of people who care about your wedding as much as you do. Thank you.

Theresa & Joe & their team were beyond amazing!! They made sure we had everything we needed and more. They made sure the bride had absolutely nothing to stress over and that all the guest enjoyed themselves. Their team was so super helpful on the little things including helping me with my dress and going and getting me different shoes. HIGHLY recommend.

This event space is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I held my June wedding at Flora and Field and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. The owners and staff are some of the most compassionate people who truly listen to what YOU want and help to make it a reality. You will be hard pressed to find a venue with more to offer.
