Alicia was amazing! She was super easy to work with, timely with communication, and she made everything so smooth the day of our event. But most importantly, the flowers were EXACTLY what I wanted. I can't say enough wonderful things about Alicia's talent and service. And so reasonably priced!! Highly recommend!!

Flowers really do make a wedding stand out and Alicia can truly deliver. When I first contacted Alicia it was during the middle of wedding season while she was super busy but she still got me taken care of. If I needed something or had a question she was responsive and easy to work with. Her price was extremely reasonable. I was looking for bright bold colors and she went above and beyond my expectations. I didn't get to see my ceremony space until I walked down the aisle and couldn't help but peak around my groom in awe of what she had put together for our ceremony arch. I received so many compliments from guests on how wonderful the flowers looked. Some of the blooms she picked had to have been well thought out (timing wise) for them to be so perfect that day. Could not recommend Alicia more for her work and ability to bring a vision to life.

We were truly blown away by Alicia’s floral work. She captivated us with her florals—which included several of the largest air plants we’ve ever seen. She was so lovely to work with, willing to work within our budget and reasonable on several last-minute changes. She provided us with some photos of her inspiration and when it came to executing her vision, she really outdid herself. Quite simply, everything she did for us (pictured) was stunning, incredibly detailed, unique, and cohesive. We give her our highest recommendation!

Alicia is a fantastic florist. I was so happy to have hired her. Her floral arrangements are stunning, our wedding arch was beautiful and my bouquet was incredible. She was incredibly accommodating to last-minute changes and was able to change around table arrangements for us the week before which I'm still so grateful for. All our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the florals were. We had our wedding at a nursery and the floral designs complimented all our decor, space, and wedding party so well. Alicia is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - not only her talent and professionalism, but also in terms of how easy she is to work with. I had a general vision for a stunning bouquet, but outside of that had little knowledge or direction when it came to specifics. I reached out to Alicia after browsing through her galleries, and told her the colors we wanted, an idea of the budget, and the venue in mind. After that, I asked her to just run with it - and she exceeded anything I could have anticipated. She promptly sent over her entire plan/vision, complete with itemized photos and design ideas that were exactly what we hoped for, and areas she felt we could cut to save if we wanted. On top of that, I mentioned I really liked circular arches which she didn't personally have, but when I asked where I could rent one or if she had any tips, she immediately sent over a quote from a vendor within our budget and offered to handle all of the booking and transportation. On the day of, both our photographer and coordinator mentioned how impressed they were with her smooth and efficient set-up and the truly stunning florals. She was reliable, made the planning process easy from the start, and I cannot count the number of compliments we received on her gorgeous arrangements.

Amazing amazing amazing. She looked at my Pinterest board and brought the most gorgeous vision to life. People were blown away by her choices. When I told Alicia I wasn’t interested in bridesmaids bouquets (a couple have babies and had enough to carry around!) she had the MOST perfect idea to incorporate flowers from my bouquet into a small hair comb for them, which ended up being the most beautiful choice. We communicated through email and she was great at getting back to me. Can’t recommend enough.

Alicia made our wedding day so magical with her absolutely stunning floral designs! We were completely blown away by her detailed intricate designs on our arbor, signage, bridal florals, and reception tables. I know very little about flowers, but I did know what I wanted the look to be for my wedding. I sent several inspiration photos to Alicia, and her response contained photos of flowers she was looking to use for my bouquet, centerpieces and arbor. They were spot on! When the wedding approached, we touched base and she was so warm, confident and straight forward about possible substitutions, and other things going on in the floral world currently. Alicia showed up to my wedding venue holding my bouquet in a vase and I immediately cried. It was perfect. I worried a lot about little aspects of my wedding, but little did I know I did not have to worry about the flowers. They were amazing. I wanted a "wild flower" look, but still elegant, and she delivered. The spray she made, the flowers she used, the colors - absolute perfection. I would trust Alicia to all flowers for any event I would hold. She was also so nice and cool in person, and created the flowers on my arbor and a fireplace feature very efficiently. Needless to say, I am impressed. Thank you, Alicia, for making the flowers such a beautiful, important part of our day.

Alicia was hands down one of my favorite vendors we had for our wedding. She was so welcoming and made sure my vision was perfect and exactly what I wanted. She took phone call after phone call of me changing my mind and adding and taking away stuff. She even made last minute changes three days before our wedding. I got so many compliments on the flower arrangements and even after 5 days from our wedding my bouquet and centerpiece still look great and survived the heat! Wow! Wow! Wow! I was absolutely blown away by Alicia's work for our wedding. She absolutely made our vision come true... We wanted dreamy disco desert vibes and honestly... it was better than I could have ever imagined it. I almost cried tears of joy when seeing my bouquet. It was like she took all the best parts of the bouquets I saw on pinterest and made it into one super bouquet. It had beautiful purple orchids, cacti, air plants, and disco balls! It was perfectly stunning and one of my favorite parts of our wedding. Alicia is super responsive and such an artist. I am so impressed with the arch she decorated for our wedding. Streamers and disco balls just like I imagined. She literally is so great at interpreting a vision and making it all an absolute dream come true. Honestly, working with Alicia makes me want to get married again so I can see more of her beautiful creations. A zillion out of 10! WOULD RECOMMEND WORKING WITH ALICIA!

It took us awhile to hunt down a florist we liked and trusted. Alicia was very conscious and understanding of our budget and what she could do with that. She offered options that were similar to items we wanted but were slightly less expensive when I liked certain things I couldn’t afford. My bouquet looked like one out of a bridal magazine! It was exactly as I had asked for and my bridesmaids bouquets complimented them perfectly! You won’t regret hiring Alicia! She is punctual, attentive and responds in a timely manner! She even included an extra boutonnière just in case a groomsmen broke theirs! :)

Alicia understood and executed my floral design vision flawlessly. From the very get go, I felt like she was able to perfectly put my collection of inspiration photos into terminology that gave me total peace of mind that she would do a great job. The flowers on the day of our wedding were absolutely beautiful, and lasted all night and beyond. Our wedding party and set up crew were thrilled to take centerpieces home the next day. Alicia worked with my coordinator to avoid disaster when the arch that we’d rented from another company for her to decorate with flowers ended up being way too flimsy to support the weight of the flowers. They moved some wine barrels that the venue provided up to the end of the aisle, and distributed the flowers beautifully between the two barrels. Our ceremony photos are so aesthetically pleasing, and we are so thankful to have had such a beautiful solution worked out. I would recommend Alicia highly to anyone and everyone!

Stop your search right here and just hire Alicia. Upon meeting with her, I knew Alicia was the perfect florist. I had no idea how to select flowers for a wedding and did not even know where to begin. I told Alicia I was looking for something that gave off a feeling of "romantic, elegant, and black tie." I also knew I wanted pink peonies if they were available, and I didn't want a lot of greenery. She took it from there! Alicia showed me a variety of pictures from the internet and offered many ideas. She also gave me ideas on how to decorate for the ceremony and how to transfer those decorations into the reception as a cost-saving measure. I wish I could have kept them live forever, as they were everything I imagined. The flowers are one of the aspects of our wedding that I still sit and reflect upon with happiness. Alicia's designs were what truly gave that feeling of "romantic, elegant, and black tie." The flowers pulled the entire wedding together. Alicia’s flowers were the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. We relied on her arrangements to elevate our outdoor venue, and they were beyond our expectations. Alicia's work was beautiful! We were very impressed with her when we first met to discuss our wedding, as it was easy to tell that she really knew what she was doing, so picking her was an easy choice for us. We didn't really know much about flowers, so we had very little to give her with regard to what we were looking for. So we just gave her a general idea about what colors we wanted, and she ran with it and sent us a list of flowers and greenery she thought would work great, and we agreed! Leading up to the wedding, I emailed her several times to make small adjustments to our order, such as small changes to the color palette, the color of the ribbons, etc., and she was always very quick to respond and willing to make the adjustments we wanted! I knew she would do a good job, but I was still in awe when I finally saw the bouquets on the day of the wedding. They were so beautiful and I got so many compliments! I couldn't be happier with how the flowers turned out, and both my husband and I are thrilled that we chose Floral Designs by Alicia for our wedding! Amazing work at a very reasonable price!

My flowers were beautiful. I was never able to meet with her prior to the wedding because I lived in Arizona, but I loved how specific she was when quoting the flowers and I knew exactly what she was planning on using for the bouquets. She was easy to communicate with and I couldn't have asked for a better florist!!

I wish I could give more stars! Alicia is thee BEST florist in Portland, OR, by far. My bouquet & flower crown was a hit at my wedding! It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! She exceeded my expectations. Right from the beginning when I contacted her for a quote she was professional & punctual with her responses. At first, I emailed her pictures of what I'd like mine & bridesmaids bouquets, flower crown & groom/groomsmen boutonnières to look like. She gave me a respectable timeframe of when my proposed contract would be done & was very prompt. Unfortunately, due to my budget, I couldn't afford all of the beautiful flower choices/arrangements Alicia suggested. So, Alicia was kind enough to modify my floral arrangements & work within my budget. I had to change my bridesmaids bouquets to sunflowers & it worked out PERFECTLY!!! Ironically, it was my late grandfathers favorite flowers, so I knew it was meant to be changed & he was with me on my special day. It made a lot of my family tear when they saw the bouquets. It was very sentimental for me. My wedding was in October & she matched all of the flowers to a fall wedding. I would highly recommend, Alicia! She was a pleasure to work with!

We absolutely loved working with Alicia! She is everything we could have asked for in a florist. Starting the wedding planning process, I didn't know much about weddings or what flowers to pick for the big day. When I met with Alicia she was super helpful asking me questions about my theme and the venue to determine which flowers I may like. She was very organized and detailed and has a great personality so I knew we'd be a great fit! She also tries to buy all local flowers which I really like. Throughout the wedding planning process, if I had a question or wanted to add additional flowers Alicia was very responsive to my emails even during her very busy wedding season. I met with several florists before I chose Alicia. I had a specific image in my head (vintage French) that I had explained to several florists beforehand but Alicia was the only one who seemed to get it. She explained her ideas to me and showed me all the flowers she was thinking of on her computer. Although we had a bit of a scare on the day off while we were waiting for the flowers, they were exactly how I envisioned them. I'm just disappointed that I can't have them forever!

She took control when we had an issue with our chuppah and made sure I didn't have to worry about anything. I could not have asked for more beautiful flowers. To be honest, flowers were at the bottom of my priority list. I just have never been a big flower person. But I am so glad I had Alicia so a little more than what I had envisioned at the beginning. My bouquet was UNBELIEVEABLE. I was in shock at how amazing it was. When I got in touch with her we emailed back and forth and I sent her pictures of what I was looking for. She did exactly what I asked for and more. I was very vague because I didn't care about flowers at the time, so that on the day of I was a little nervous about my mistake! Well let me tell you, you do not need to worry when you are in Alicia's floral hands!!!

My Wedding flowers from Alicia were Above and Beyond any expectations I had. The wedding was in Central Oregon, so I was a bit nervous working with a Portland based florist, but she came highly recommended. The ease of communication along the way made me feel a lot more confident in my decision too. She worked in my budget, even though I had a specific vision, and accommodated some changes we had last minute. As soon as the flowers arrived at the venue, I was in Awe. Her location in Portland gives her access to a wide variety of flowers to choose from, which was great. She followed my vision and added a few fun accents I would have never thought of that made everything even more special. Even though I only met Alicia in person when she dropped off the flowers on my wedding day, I can confidently say she was joy to work with, and one of the best vendors I had.

We hired Alicia based on the recommendation of our photographer and her other reviews, and we are so glad that we did. We were truly impressed and captivated by the quality and value of Alicia’s work. We had no idea what kind of arrangements that we wanted, but Alicia was incredibly knowledgeable and communicative about all of our options. She helped us pick flowers that were in season and she was very budget conscious. I had no idea what my bouquet would look like until the wedding day, but I couldn’t have been happier with it. She incorporated succulents into most of our arrangements, and even decorated our cake with them (which looked AWESOME and totally Pinterest-worthy). The day of the wedding, she arrived precisely on time with her assistant, and set up her arrangements throughout our entire venue (Silcox Hut at Timberline – she was already familiar with the staff and the layout of the tables, which was incredibly helpful in planning and execution). As the bride, I was busy running around, and when I came upstairs I was blown away by the transformation of our little rustic space. The staff told me that she even helped them rearrange their pre-existing floral bouquets to fit our theme. We got a million compliments all night on her work and on how efficient she had been, and before the evening even ended, our guests were already staking claims on the various arrangements to take home with them. I highly recommend Floral Designs by Alicia (especially to Silcox brides – you definitely need vendors you can rely on!). She was wonderful in every way, and you will not be disappointed.

Alicia was an amazing florist for our wedding day! She committed to doing our wedding flowers only 1 and half months before the wedding after our first florist had to cancel due to a family emergency. She was very fast at completing a quote for us considering the time crunch and was able to meet up to finalize details quickly. She was also flexible in helping find ways to save money. All of the bouquets and flower arrangements were so beautiful, and exactly what I wanted. She delivered them on time and even hand delivered my bouquet to me in the bridal suite. I found out about Alicia before I was ever engaged but I knew the moment I saw her work I would be willing to sacrifice anything to have HER as my florist when I did get married. Much to my surprise when that time came she was extremely affordable, especially when I was quoted upwards of $3000 from other florists in Portland. Don't let the affordability fool you, I got flowers beyond belief. She's so creative. Berries, beer hops, sea oats?? Sounds odd but it was stunning mixed into the flowers. And they were HUGE. My main bouquette was literally hard to cart around because it was so heavy. I'd use her again and again and again if I could.

I'm so happy that I had Alicia do my flowers- they were beautiful and really tied our fall wedding theme together. I wanted fall seasonal flowers, lots of color and out of the ordinary/ eclectic flowers- She nailed my vision without me being able to express to her, she read my mind and was very creative. I had a vintage 20s wedding and she came up with a scheme, that completely resembled the wedding colors and ensemble that I was looking for.
