If you want to trust that things will be taken care of, go smoothly, and that things will not be forgotten and go as discussed/planned- USE SOMEONE ELSE!! I am beyond disappointed with Floral Fantasy and extremely unhappy with the service I was provided!! For starters, they were LATE, the end aisle arrangements never arrived (were discussed, on invoice and paid for), baby’s breath requested for my hair was missing, my favorite type of greenery that I had ensured would be in the bouquets and arrangements (even double checked and ensured after they left it out of first invoice and were added back in and promised), and to top it off, red roses for the rose ceremony! All of which had been emailed, discussed several times over the phone and through email and confirmed! How many things can you mess up?! Especially when that is what they do- they are a BRIDAL FLORIST! Absolutely absurd and unacceptable. Because the rose ceremony was a big part of our ceremony, the fact that the roses were forgotten ran the whole ceremony almost 30 mins behind, and ruined the whole schedule!! The wedding planner was unable to get ahold of Floral fantasy after they left, and she had to scramble to find 2 roses… she had to end up going across the resort to the reception area and take two white roses out of our sweetheart arrangement! Not to mention the roses were supposed to be RED to set them apart and because the meaning of a red rose “I Love you”. Flowers had to be taken out of my bouquet for my hair because they forgot the baby’s breath, the grooms Boutonnière and mother’s wrist corsage were both so dinky and sparse they were like a joke. I can’t believe they even charged me for the groom’s Boutonnière ($20), it was so generic and dinky. The aisle arrangements which were paid for, invoiced, and discussed in detail, which never arrived, made things look incomplete, and now it shows in my photos and videography that we will have of our special day, forever. And because of the delay with the missing roses for the rose ceremony, we missed out on a huge portion of our photography/daylight/sunset, not to mention the reception being rushed and cut short! After speaking with with the manager and owner I was reimbursed a small amount, which was a joke considering this whole fiasco that should have never happened- it barely even covered the missing arrangements and flowers that I had already paid for!! Not to mention the half hour of photography down the drain, or that I will never get that time back from my wedding day/reception, which is priceless. This whole situation is absolutely appalling. Given how monumental and important a wedding is and how much planning and time goes into it, it is so important to make sure things are on time and correct. I trusted that things would be taken care of as discussed and listed on invoice. I never imagined such a disaster. Being a wedding florist, I can’t understand how one can make this many mistakes!!!?!? One of my highly sought after vendors, who was amazing (I won’t mention who) had told me while getting ready, after realizing they were late, that Floral Fantasy was known for being late and that they try to book too much in a day. Maybe this is why- who knows- but please be WARNED! I sure wish I would have known ahead of time.
