Hurricane Matthew forced us to cancel our wedding at FFGC in October 2016, and Dawn could not have been more kind and accommodating as we dealt with the stress and logistics of planning an on-the-fly wedding ceremony on our honeymoon. Dawn gave us great options for rescheduling our reception, and we had an amazing event early April. The grounds were prettier than I remembered, our photos taken outside turned out beautiful, and the space was exactly what we’d hoped for. The onsite coordinator was friendly and helpful. If you’re considering having your wedding at FFGC, don’t hesitate to book your date! It’s simple yet elegant, and a blank canvas that you can really do anything with. The stage is perfect for your sweetheart table, the outdoor space is open enough to accommodate your ceremony/cocktail reception, but small enough that it creates an intimate garden-like wedding experience. I can’t say enough about Dawn, her team and the wonderful wedding we finally got to have. Thank you!!!!!!

We loved our reception! It was perfect for our wedding. The space was beautiful and we had a lot of places for photos! Would highly recommend!!

Dawn was always a pleasure to work with. She answered all of our questions quickly and she let us stop by whenever we needed to double check everything. The venue itself is a hidden gem. Absolutely perfect for a wedding like ours, with 40 guests. There was plenty of free parking for our guests. It is located in a residential area but feels super secluded. There are lush trees, including cypress trees with gorgeous Spanish moss, in and around the outdoor area which provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding. All of our guests were raving about the location and how beautiful and perfect everything was. We held the ceremony in front of one of the large trees in the grassy area. The only thing I want to make sure to advise everyone is that the ground is soft out in the field and make sure to advise your guests to not wear open shoes or stiletto heels if you would be doing what we did. Of course, we already knew that so everyone was prepared! We held the reception on the platform area outside, on November 5th, and the weather was perfect. There are two private rooms for changing or storage of your personal items, at least two large bathrooms for your guests. Everything was spotless! There was also a large hall indoors that was very nice with a stage area, but the garden/outdoor area is so beautiful, we just had to take advantage! This venue provides several options for your perfect wedding, and it is so affordable! I can't say enough about this place! Thank you again, Dawn!

Beware! The lady i spoke with over the phone with was very rude and kept cutting me off. I do tolerate disrespect from anyone no matter who you are. I simply asked a question and all i recieved was like a little dog barking at me....its not worth my money just saying!

The FFGC was a great location for our wedding and the price was unbeatable! Our first impressions of the staff went well, however the month before our wedding we did experience some rudeness on various occasions. Overall the experience went well, the location was beautiful, and we have an outstanding time!

From our initial contact with Dawn until our final receipt of our security deposit, the FFGC was a breeze to work with. Their building is more than accommodating for a large function and the grounds are beautiful. We had an intimate wedding reception on the patio, which was perfect for our brunch tea party theme. I would recommend that you use fans and tents/umbrellas if you use the patio during the day as it got quite warm. We cannot recommend this venue enough! You get such a great value and you know that the fee you pay goes to support a great organization.

I absolutely fell in love with the property of this venue. It is in the middle of a neighborhood and close to the city but when you are there you feel so secluded. Our theme was country rustic and this site was perfect! We had an outdoor ceremony in front of a large tree, then eating inside and then dancing outdoors on the patio. It was absolutely the perfect night! The only downside I had was some of the people who were our contacts of the venue. When we visited we got a packet of information, which happened to change over the time of our planning the wedding. Such as the sizes of tables they had when we found the place: they had a good variety of options which happened to change over the course and no one told us about it, except my wedding planner when she asked them about the tables a couple weeks before the wedding. A couple of the encounters we had with the staff were not as pleasant as I would have liked: a couple times they made me to feel as if I was imposing on other people's wedding days when inquiring about the chair situations and our rehearsal. It was only a handful of instances where this happened, so all in all the staff experience was not too bad. I would not have changed our wedding location for anything. It was absolutely perfect! I definitely would recommend it to everyone who wants an outdoor ceremony/reception.

We recently got married at FFGC in Winter Park, Fl and it was awesome. Very few people know about this venue but for outdoor wedding space, there is none better! Beautiful landscapes, great prices and when you book an event, the entire property is yours, and yours only for the whole day!
