Ivette is the absolute best! She never hesitated to go above and beyond to help me not only plan my wedding but also ensure everything went smoothly the day of. I have a super busy work schedule and she always accommodated me and met with me at odd hours. She also is well loved in the Keys community and works well with all of the local vendors. She truly loves what she does and it shows with her excellent work ethic, her professionalism, and the quality of her work. If you are getting married in the keys you couldn’t have a better coordinator. She is truly a gift.

I wholeheartedly recommend Ivette Chao, Florida Keys Day-of Coordinator, for your wedding. We married in November 2024 with 130 guests, and there’s no way we could have pulled it off without her. While she’s officially a “day-of” coordinator, Ivette did so much more for us. About six months before the wedding, she reached out to help us line up vendors and provided helpful worksheets to start planning the smaller details. As the big day approached, she coordinated everything—vendors, logistics, and even assisted with our welcome party the day before. She also let us borrow from her extensive collection of wedding essentials—things like card boxes, table numbers, and even the ring bearer sign—at no extra cost. Ivette was there from early morning, overseeing the delivery of rentals to two separate locations, all the way into the evening, making sure our personal table settings were packed away. She set up the welcome book and remembrance table, and was present when we walked down the aisle. Even after the ceremony, she stayed to help coordinate family photos. Her involvement made the entire process so much easier and stress-free. If anything went wrong, it was so minor that no one even noticed. I also want to mention how gracious and patient Ivette was with us after we had to postpone our wedding by a year. She had already invested so much time and effort, yet she made the rebooking process seamless and stress-free. I can’t thank her enough for making our wedding day go perfectly.

I highly recommend Ivette as a wedding coordinator. She helped me find creative ways to keep costs low and keep things simple while still creating a perfect day with all the details we cared about. She’s fun, efficient, and gets things done. With Ivette you don’t have to worry at all about anything sipping through the cracks. She’s got you. I’m so thankful she made our special day worry free and a beautiful occasion! After the wedding, I even got this text from one of my family members: “I’ve been to many many weddings in my day that was by far one of the best and most organized events I’ve ever been to. Food was incredible. Congratulations.” By the way, Ivette has excellent recommendations for food and vendors - we got to have amazing service without breaking the bank and would’ve been lost on who to hire without her. We used Delicias Gourmet out of Miami upon her suggestion. I’ve never had such delicious food, in large quantities and on such a low budget!

Do not hesitate, hire IVETTE now! We got married October 19, 2024 at Cheeca Lodge and spa. I booked Cheeca that same year in February and had almost 100 guests attending. Ivette did everything to help me leading up to the wedding and CRUSHED IT on my actual wedding day. She met with me 3 times before the wedding (not including the rehearsal) had multiple phone conversations with me and always promptly texting back and forth with me. hiring Ivette will also save you money in the long run because she has great connections and can help you secure well priced vendors. Ivette also really helped me with the aesthetic of the wedding. I wanted everything to be beautiful and personalized. She made sure every detail was exactly how I asked and ultimate exceeded my expectations. Our wedding day was so smooth and seamless, since the wedding we've had so many guests and family come to us and say that this is the BEST wedding they have ever been to. I give so much credit to Ivette in making our wedding day, the best day of our lives, truly.

Ivette and her team did an amazing job assisting me with planning and setting up the day of. I wouldn’t have been as relaxed without them! We live out of state and wouldn't have been able to do it without her and her assistant. Ivette had several meetings with me to discuss my vision and ensure I was not forgetting anything. We hired Ivette as our day of coordinator, she did not disappoint! She was so organized and communicated really well. I didn’t have to think or do anything the day of our wedding. We were so happy with the Florida Keys Day of Coordinator. Ivette and Caroline both were amazing to work with and really helped make our day perfect. It was very easy to communicate, even months before through calls or texting and always a helpful answer or advice. They were also very helpful in suggesting things that might help financially or just made more sense for the weekend. The set up was flawless, they did an amazing job setting the tables and making sure everything was how we talked about. After all the planning and calls, it was so nice to feel confident that it would all be taken care of and i could relax and enjoy getting ready with my girls. They were awesome about taking the crazy amount of boxes I had and figuring out what needed to go where - they definitely know their stuff and all things wedding! I would highly recommend using Florida Keys Day Of Coordinator if you are planning your wedding in the Keys - It really was a perfect weekend and we cant than Ivette and Caroline enough!!!

We can’t say enough good things about Ivette! From our first intro call to tying up the final details post-wedding, Ivette exuded unparalleled support, care, and attention to detail. Ivette went above and beyond the typical responsibilities of a month-of-coordinator at all times. Well before month-of, Ivette was willing and eager to provide recommendations and guidance for vendor selection and venue coordination. In the month leading up to our big day, Ivette was the picture of organization and experience. She worked hand-in-hand with us on our schedule, venue homework packet, and vendor coordination, and she was always willing to provide guidance and expertise (or even make the final say) when we hit points of indecision as a couple. On the day of our wedding, Ivette picked up our flowers for us, coordinated with all of our vendors, and set up all of our ceremony and reception details (including ceremony signage, a card box, table numbers, centerpieces, and place settings – all of which she designed and supplied herself at no cost to us). This was an incredible weight (and cost!) off of our shoulders, and it allowed us to cruise through our wedding weekend worry-free. Finally, following our wedding, Ivette returned our marriage papers to the clerk’s office on our behalf and was sure to check in with us and send us off with merry wishes. We are so thankful for the time we spent working with Ivette, and we would hands-down recommend her to any and all couples getting married in the Florida Keys! Working with Ivette (rather than with a large wedding planning company) was a level of intimacy that brought us such comfort and well-needed consistency throughout our wedding planning experience, and we can’t imagine it any other way.

Ivette was so helpful from the first moment I spoke to her on the phone. She helped to guide me towards vendors and understand the options since I live many states away. I have to admit. I was not very particular about my wedding details and at first I was not very happy that the resort required a day of coordinator. Having been through the experience now...I could not have done it without Ivette!! Everything went so smoothly and was so beautiful. I really couldn’t have pulled my big day off without Ivette. Obviously our process was a trying one with the pandemic but she was there for me every step of the way. Ivette went above and beyond for us the day of the wedding as well whether it was rallying the groomsmen together, setting up our beautiful ceremony or making the tables exactly what I dreamed of for this very special day. I couldn’t have done half of the decorating that I wanted without her help and the services she provided! Day of also did not correspond with her at all, throughout the whole process after hiring her we spoke week to week about final touches and plans because I was out of state! Ivette was fantastic!! We hired Ivette to help us with our Key Largo wedding since we were from out of town. She was fantastic and so easy to work with. She knew all our other vendors and was able to help coordinate timelines and exactly what we needed. She helped us from start to finish: from our first meeting, keeping me organized, contacting vendors, having wedding items (card box, votives, wedding signs) that I could borrow, the rehearsal and to our Wedding Day. There aren’t enough characters available in this review to fully impart what Ivette and Karla the quality of service provided. Not only for my Husband and I, but also for our guests. I selected Ivette at the last minute (2 weeks prior) to our wedding. Crazy right!??? Ivette’s genuine patience, concern, and “make it happen” demeanor kept me sane and focused. Her knowledge on not only weddings, and festive events is equal to her knowledge of the Islands, the other vendors and the history of the area. Ivette was consistent in pointing out the various ways we could save money, and provided pieces and decorative items from her own personal collection. Ivette assisted me in selecting other vendors, and subtly pointing out ones that I am sure were not “recommendable”. What I like about that is that she’s always professional and non-catty. At the last minute, I realized that while I had ordered bouquets for my bridesmaids, I didn’t order one for myself. Ivette made one within an hour and it was exquisite. Karla demeanor and professionalism was noted by my mother, Aunts and other guests. Karla made sure that everyone knew to come to her personally with any issues and concerns. These two classy, genuine ladies have found their natural calling, taking care of people on one of the most memorable days of their lives.

Ivette is the absolute BEST! Where do I even start with her? .. she did everything to make sure my wedding went smoothly. She even helped me plan the entire wedding months before it even took place. When the wind picked up and she knew the plastics wouldn’t stay, she made a quick decision to rent ceramics to make sure everything was perfect. My wedding would not have been possible without Ivette. I became so close to her, when we would hang up from chatting I would say, “I love you!” She became a part of our family from the day we booked her. This women has no limitations! She even ordered last minute decorations that I completely forgot about that she remembered 2 days before the wedding. She saved us a TON of money on food that we were able to serve the food at the reception, wedding, and breakfast the day after the wedding. Ivette is beyond amazing and I just want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our day/weekend unforgettable. We love you!

Best money spent! Ivette and her team are the very best. Absolutely amazing! Down to earth, organized and totally there for you every step of the way. I went into our wedding planning thinking I wouldn’t hire a “wedding planner” and we (my mother, sister, and I) could just do it all ourselves. Quickly realizing weddings are not simple (no matter how basic you want them to be) my mom started to look around. Ivette came highly recommended so my mom decided we would go with her, AND SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! When I was stressed and upset worrying about all the tiny details, Ivette made me excited again because she had it all covered. Any question or issue I had, she had an answer. Even the things I said I would get, and ended up forgetting, she found a way to make it happen. Ivette and her team made my entire wedding day a breeze and I truly owe my special day to her. Ivette is AMAZING!! My wedding was an absolute dream, all because of Ivette. Her attention to detail, willingness to please, and love for her job all contributed to our PERFECT Florida Keys wedding. From her personality to her professionalism Ivette is top notch. She thought of everything and incorporated everything I wanted. Her communication skills are amazing. We only actually met in person twice and it was PERFECT! Everyone loved her commitment and her eagerness to please. You would lucky to have her. I now consider her a friend.
