Winnie and her associates were fantastic. She and her group were the best vendors we hired. She did a fantastic job with the floral arrangements. We also added a special project at the last minute and she handled it with ease. Our family has a chuppah (Jewish wedding canopy) that was embroidered by my mother. We asked Winnie to secure the canopy at our outdoor venue. When we arrived at the wedding location the winds were very active and I saw the chuppah catching gusts like a sailboat. My heart dropped but Winnie took charge and made sure everything was perfect. When the event was over her staff took down the canopy and treated it with the TLC everyone in our family would want. I could not give Winnie and her team any higher praise. I would not even consider any other florist for any future event.

Winnie was simply amazing. I couldn't have been happier. We had to plan a rushed, Covid wedding and it is such a treat to find a vendor who just has that "I got you" attitude. We were scrambling to find lilacs and she found a vendor in Florida who could FedEx them... it was insane the amount of work she put into the event. She made sure everything was in place right when it needed to be and every detail was followed through to the next level. Her communication was really amazing. Everything was perfect. Couldn't recommend more.

Winnie is so attention to detail, from our first phone consultation 18 months prior to our wedding to our actual wedding reception...everything was perfect. She listened to what we wanted, created unique arrangements that matched our theme, and brought our vision to life. Also, we didn't hire a wedding planner because Winnie offered a day-of the wedding coordinating service. This saved us a great deal of money. She's the sweetest person and a true artist.

Winnie at FlorUnique was amazing, an absolute artist and such a pleasure to work with. Our arrangements, bouquets, and altar came out flawless. I had people complimenting the flowers all day. Throughout the reception people kept coming up to our sweetheart table to admire them, and they photographed beautifully. When searching for a vendor, I kept finding salespeople who just wanted to sell from a catalogue of their prior work and sub in my favorite flower. Winnie, on the other hand, was the artist I was looking for. She truly cared about making the arrangements unique and specific to us. She had us meet her at the Shade Hotel Wedding Expo. We gravitated toward a display without even knowing it was hers, and immediately fell in love when we met her. We talked for a while and then she asked me something no one else had... "what DON'T you like about this set up?" It was such a better way to direct the conversation. She was able to get to the point of what we liked and suggest substitutions and pairings more effectively. Then she pulled out a sketch book and drew out some ideas on the spot. Next, we set up a time to visit her studio so she could mock up a centerpiece before creating the quote. It meant the world to me to be able to see and touch examples of what we would actually get. When we came to her shop, she had a bunch of the flowers we discussed set out, and then she created a centerpiece in front of us. It was awesome to be able to give our input as she worked and make changes on the spot. She was great with criticism as well. If something didn't seem quite right, she didn't take offense or get annoyed, she just tore it out and came up with a new idea. It was such a fun and creative process, and the result was so uniquely us. Winnie took her time and never made us feel rushed or pressured when we met. She really cared about us and our day and she wouldn't rest until she saw that sparkle in our eye. After we booked her, she never stopped communicating with us. She even sent photos of my bridal bouquet the night before the wedding, giving me the chance to make any last minute changes if needed (none were though, it was perfect). FlorUnique was well worth every penny we spent, and I can't say that about every vendor we chose. Winnie charges her worth, but she was upfront the whole time keeping expectations vs reality in check. We chose some of the more exotic flowers, which means more money. Other vendors tried to deter us from using them to stay within our budget. Winnie took the time to help us think outside the box and found ways to use less florals in certain areas so we could use more where it really counted. She came up with alternatives for certain areas that didn't require us to compromise our style or go over budget. She even found ways to reuse flowers throughout the day, moving and changing arrangements from the ceremony to the reception. I also really appreciated that she never placated us. She has the experience to know what works and what doesn't, and she's not afraid to tell you. She helped steer us in the right direction and didn't make us pay for things we didn't need. I could go on and on about Winnie. She was a dream to work with and I honestly miss being in touch with her. This review is long overdue as our wedding was back in April, but better late than never. I will use FlorUnique for all my future events and will be recommending her to everyone. Book FlorUnique and I promise you won't be disappointed!

FlorUnique is the best hidden gem in the South Bay. It is tucked in Redondo Beach near the Marina. My fiance and I had scoped out a few other flower establishments in the South Bay area for our Wedding and Winnie from FlorUnique stood out by far! What I really loved from the first time meeting with her was how creative and innovative she was. We told her colors and the theme we imagined our wedding to be and she would be physically grabbing flowers and fillers to set examples. It was amazing to watch but realistically, so helpful! We had our wedding on a 70ft yacht, so I knew FlorUnique was the one after the first visit to be creative and help our vision come true. Communication was right on point. Every email and text message was responded to promptly. As promised, she texted me multiple pictures the day before the wedding asking if I approve of all the flowers in my bouquet. As far as budget, Winnie worked with us every step of the way. There were times when we added and made changes and she was very accommodating. Budgets are very real when it comes to weddings and she totally understood how to work within our specific budget and still make it look amazing! Being an anxious bride with no wedding coordinator, we wanted to make sure every vendor was absolutely set. Having Winnie in my corner was a weight lifted off from our shoulders. I have to also throw in here, I requested a last minute boutonniere for my father and she texted back immediately saying she totally can do it. Literally, everybody who attended our wedding was in awe over the flowers and our photographer. But that's another story. I highly recommend FlorUnique to all those looking for beautiful, creative, fascinating flower decor for all occasions

We used Winnie’s arrangements for the rehearsal dinner. She worked with us to make exactly what we wanted. The flowers were beautiful and we reused some of the arrangements for the wedding as they held up very well.

I absolutely loved working with Winnie for our wedding! We had a destination wedding so I was not familiar with florists in the area and she was recommended to me by our reception venue. As soon as I met her, I knew she would do amazing work. She was very kind and understanding flexible with last minute changes and knew the questions to ask to make sure you got the look you were going for. Everyone loved my flowers and table set-up and the flowers lasted all day. They were beautiful!!

We loved Winnie's work! We were first introduced to FlorUnique through our wedding planner and met with Winnie at her shop for a consultation. We wanted to minimize using flowers since some of our family members are allergic to pollen so we wanted to use succulents as our floral decors instead. She carefully listened to what we had envisioned and provided us with some ideas and mockups. On the wedding day, the florals turned out exactly what we had envisioned and more! Winnie took care of every details including our bar decors and floral collar for our dog. Everything was so beautiful and cohesive and our center pieces were a hit among our guests! We were able to take our sweetheart table succulents home and replanted them in our patio, allowing us to always remember what a beautiful night it was. We definitely recommend FlorUnique for floral vendor because Winnie makes magic!

Where do I begin? My sister actually found Winnie for my wedding. Let me just say that Winnie is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She was able to work with us and communication was constant with her -- right down to the smallest flower detail. All the flower arrangements were perfect. I showed her examples of the bouquets, flower crowns, center pieces, etc, and she used those examples to create something even more unique and beautiful than I originally had envisioned. Although the wedding florals costed more than I originally thought, she understood and was able to lay out a payment plan that worked with us. Her patience, work ethic, workmanship, and communication is nothing short of exemplary.

Winnie is FANTASTIC! It was so much fun working with her on the flowers for my wedding. She understood my vision and worked with me to make it happen! She was quick to respond with answers to any of my questions, and not afraid to ask any to make sure everything was perfect. She was also very conscious of my budget and worked with me on changing the product to fit my budget with the same or similar effect I was going for. You can’t beat the price and the service. 100% would use her again for my floral needs!

We had the most amazing experience with FlorUnique leading up to the event and on our wedding day! Our flowers were the highlight of our wedding decor and beyond what we expected. Winnie has such an amazing talent of listening to your vision and bringing it to life.

Winnie is the BEST!!! Our wedding flowers were absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Before our initial consultation, Winnie asked us about our flower preferences, wedding colors, personal style, etc. When we arrived at FlorUnique, Winnie had all of our favorite flowers on hand and she put together a gorgeous sample bouquet on the spot. There was no doubt in my mind that Winnie was the florist for us! I was originally referred to Winnie at FlorUnique by my spin class instructor (Winnie did a gorgeous job with her wedding flowers!) and later found out that she had also done my brother’s wedding 15 years earlier. My mom told me she was amazingly talented — a true artist — and she was so impressed with how she handled everything the day of my brother’s wedding (it was 105 degrees, the cake melted and Winnie saved the day by strategically covering the cake with gorgeous flowers). Winnie is warm, sweet, kind, easygoing, detail oriented, passionate and insanely talented! She puts her heart and soul into her work and it shows. She knew exactly how to realize our vision — classy with a casual elegance — and she went above and beyond to execute it perfectly. She was great at communicating with us every step of the way and very conscientious of staying within our budget. The day of our wedding turned out to be the hottest day of the year — around 100 degrees — and once again Winnie had the challenge of dealing with delicate flowers during a heatwave. And as if that weren’t enough, her assistant injured herself the morning of our wedding and ended up in urgent care, so Winnie was left to do everything on her own. I’m not sure how she did it, but she managed to pull it off. Every little detail — from the charms on my bouquet to the floral wreaths for my nieces to the stunning flowers on our cake — was sheer PERFECTION! She even repurposed the flowers from our arch/chuppah for our sweetheart table which made me so happy because I hated the idea of those flowers being used for such a short time and going to waste. I was also able to save many of the succulents from our arrangements and they are now in a hanging wall garden in our backyard — a wonderful reminder of our special day! Winnie…we cannot thank you enough for making our wedding day so magical!!!

FlorUnique is hands down my favorite florist in all of LA. I’ve worked with Winnie on several weddings before, and of course I wanted to hire her for my own. She is SO talented. She knew exactly what I wanted, even when I didn’t. She expertly matched my color scheme. She went above and beyond what I could have imagined for my wedding. Working with Winnie on our wedding and rehearsal dinner flowers was such a pleasure! My husband and I were really out of our element when it came to picking a florist and we were having a tough time figuring out where to start. From the first time I talked to Winnie, I knew she was the right person. She was the only florist who asked about me and my husband as people, how we met and our background together. Winnie took the time to put together a sample centerpiece so we could see what the flowers would actually look like and throughout the whole process she was responsive and easy to work with. The small touches she incorporated on our wedding day, like flowers around our champagne flutes, were really special and pulled everything together. We had so many good things to say about her that my mother in law had her put together flowers for our rehearsal dinner! We hired Winnie to do our flowers for our wedding up based on my wedding planners recommendation. I’m SO glad we went with her! I can’t tell you the amount of complements we got on our flowers. From just talking to Winnie, it is so clear that she has a passion for weddings, floral design, and love. We wanted something a bit challenging that we weren't sure was possible, Winnie excitedly took on the challenge and made something more beautiful that we even imagined. We had the best experience with Florunique!!! Winnie is such a sweet person and she made our experience so easy and in our price range! Did not pressure us and we waited until the last minute and she made it go so smoothly! She also had a full tub of flowers to show us and actually cut the and formed them into what it would be at our wedding!!! Who does that!!! So nice of her! Highly recommend!!!! Such a nice person!!!

Winnie is amazing. We gave her the task of combining Pumpkin Orange and Lilac but not letting it look like Halloween. My husband was very specific in that he needed Pumpkin Orange Tulips or else he wanted no orange at all. Winnie came through and got him exactly what he wanted. The centerpieces came out amazing and everyone loved the flowers and arrangements. She was the only florist we visited who both didn't shy away from the color choice and who understood our ideas right away. She even brought out example flowers of how the arrangements could go on the first visit. My only complaint is we had to keep on her originally to send the contract to formally sign. We agreed verbally but it took some doing to get all the paperwork in place. In saying that, she was super accommodating on pricing to come down to the upper limits of our budget and work with us on what flowers we could and couldn't use to hit our price but still look great. Winnie helped turn our venue from something generic to something that screams my husband and I, and we could not recommend her highly enough.

We got married on May 19th in Redondo Beach. Winnie is a true floral artist. Everyone was amazed at how beautiful the flowers were at our wedding. This may sound surprising, but when we were interviewing florists, she was the only one that actually had physical flowers on hand to make a mock-up of my bouquet. I was instantly awed at how lovely and creative her ideas were. We went with a blue orchid theme, which she brought to life amazingly, and we also had an Indian ceremony. For this she decorated the ceremony stage with white and red flowers, and she was able to arrange lovely garlands for us to exchange during the ceremony. At the last minute I realized I had forgotten to order a few blue orchids that could be placed in my hair, and even the morning of she was able to easily arrange to make sure that these made it to the bridal room. She is a fantastic person to work with and I found myself wishing for an excuse to order more flowers after all the wedding festivities were all over and done with!

I did a lot of research, and Winnie's quote was definitely the best value in the LA area (~40% cheaper than the most expensive quote). She was very patient in our initial consultation, and together, we found a creative way to bring down the cost without sacrificing our vision. Her execution was perfect. The ceremony pieces + sweetheart table decoration + center pieces were simple but grand and elegant. They looked MUCH MORE expensive than they cost! [Recommendation] Would highly recommend Winnie. She does beautiful work, and is a wonderful, honest person to work with. :)

FlorUnique was great! I planned my California wedding from the East Coast, so I was pretty nervous trying to find and select vendors without ever meeting them in person. I called Winnie on pretty short notice to see if she could prepare a boutonniere and bouquet based on an inspiration picture. Winnie did a great job communicating both on the phone and via email. She explained that some flowers in my inspiration picture weren't in-season and suggested replacements for available similar flowers. She also offered up cost-saving substitutions, while still staying true to the inspiration picture. The morning of the wedding, Winnie texted me a picture of the bouquet and asked if I wanted any changes. I didn't - it was beautiful! Winnie delivered the flowers herself to my venue on time and in great condition. Winnie was very kind and easy to work with, and she does great work. I'd definitely recommend FlorUnique!

I first met Winnie of FlorUnique at my charity fundraiser, "Designs for Dining" as she provided flower arrangements for my key speaker on table designs. I so loved Winnie's arrangements and I thought they were so unique--even before I new her business name was FlorUnique! When my daughter started planning her wedding, I thought of Winnie and contacted her to provide the flowers. I had several meetings with Winnie at her studio where we discussed colors and designs. She worked with us to not only meet our budget, but the flowers were absolutely spectacular! The look of the arrangements and bouquets was beyond my expectations. When I entered the reception before the guests arrived, the flowers took my breath away. Winnie also let me be involved with certain aspects of picking out containers and ribbon myself that not only gave me a part in the process but also helped us meet our budget. Winnie is also a delightful person and our meetings at her studio were so enjoyable and I learned so much about types of flowers and greenery. When I chose FlorUnique, I didn't realize that she was listed as a Preferred Florist on our reception venue, Palos Verdes Golf Club. I highly recommend FlorUnique to anyone I know who might be planning any type of event where flowers will enhance the ambiance.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Winnie was such a pleasure to work with for our wedding. I loved that she actually met with me and brought out individual flowers and different types of greenery to really understand what I was invisioning for our wedding day. I really appreciated that she took the time to go over every detail of our wedding from the time our pictures started to the venue location and weather and gave us honest opinions of what would work and what wouldn't so she could provide us with what would look the best and last the longest throughout our day. I really appreciated how she helped with all of the personal touches at our venue, I'm a scientist (and so is she which is awesome!) and she added flowers to beakers and Erlenmeyer flasks for our sign in table that everyone loved. I couldn't have asked for a better florist!

Winnie did the flowers for our wedding and completely blew everyone away. She made a gorgeous living arrangement on the entry wall, stunning bouquets in glass vases, and several large arrangements that are still thriving almost a week later. One of our favorite touches were the floral hair clips and boutonnieres Winnie designed for us...they were absolutely beautiful and held up through the night. Working with FlorUnique was fantastic, and we couldn't have been happier with our flowers on the big day.

From the moment I met Winnie I knew I wanted her to do our wedding flowers. On my first meeting with her, she threw together a sample mini-bouquet of the flowers I told her I was interested in and it was absolutely beautiful. We planned our wedding from another state, so everything was done via phone and email and Winnie captured the look we wanted perfectly! As well as the flowers for the bridal party, parents, and grandparents, we also had absolutely gorgeous centerpieces for our reception dinner that really elevated our decor to a whole new level! Everything was perfect and Winnie was amazing at communicating with us and used her creative talent to bring our ideas to life (going off of nothing but our conversations and Pinterest idea boards I created)!

Where do I even begin? Winnie and her team at FlorUnique are true artists. I got married on October 6th of this year at the California Yacht Club in Marina Del Rey. I had a pretty complicated vision for Winnie, and not only did she make it happen, she exceeded any ideas I could ever come up with. She also managed to come up with clever ways to save us money with our TIGHT budget. I knew I really wanted Winnie to do our flowers but I just didn't know if I could ever afford anyone as great as her. If you're in the same boat that we were in, talk to Winnie!! She has a bunch of little tricks for cutting costs. We ended up using our beautiful bridesmaid bouquets as centerpieces, and our floral arrangements from the ceremony for our sweetheart table. For my wedding, I envisioned pumpkins, nautical, and romance- haha I told you it was complicated. I also had all my bridesmaids in different dresses. I was hoping the flowers would be able to tie my vision together and keep it from looking all over the place. Winnie came up with the brilliant idea of weaving gold rope into the deep burgundy and blush arrangements to tie together our romantic nautical theme. She also made beautiful floral hair pieces for each of my bridesmaids to help bring some cohesion to their mismatched dresses. If you're looking for the best florist in all of Los Angeles County, look no further!! She went above and beyond to bring my vision to life.

Florunique / Winnie is amazing!! I met with Winnie 4 months prior to our wedding. We traveled from Kansas City. I immediately loved Winnie. She listened to what I wanted...played around with some arrangements as we were there. We had to chat or e mail since I wasn't local. She was always keeping me posted with what was going on. I felt so comfortable with Winnie. I trusted her. She has such a great passion for what she does and I am proud to say I got a beautiful bouquet and beautiful arrangements. I would highly recommend Winnie. She is absolutely great to work with.

Winnie listened to what I wanted, and created a sample centerpiece on the spot with flowers she had on hand. She did an excellent job. Everything was beautiful. She also sent me pictures of the flowers the night before the big day to see if I wanted to make any changes. I also really appreciated how she went the extra mile and added small touches to the sweetheart table, like flowers on our napkins and toasting flutes.

I used Florunique for my wedding and I have to say that Winnie is the best! I'm not someone who knows a lot about flowers, but Winnie was able to hear my vague descriptions of the look and feel of my wedding and come up with a beautiful concept for my flowers, all within budget. I really appreciated her mindfulness when it came to my budget and was simply amazing to work with. She made herself available to speak with me anytime I wanted to discuss a change or addition to my flower order and made me feel completely comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend!

Winnie did an AMAZING job with our flowers, evoking a sense of magic and true artistry. We wanted to integrate Japanese Ikebana style flower arranging into our decor, and Winnie did an incredible job communicating and working with us to create arrangements in the style we wanted. When my bridesmaids first saw their bouquets, they literally gasped with delight at their beauty (and then immediately started taking pictures of them). Winnie was also open to our request to use mostly native, sustainably grown plants, which was important to us. The day after the wedding, we delivered extra centerpieces to friends and family as gifts to brighten up their homes. We are so grateful to Winnie for making our special day beautiful and elegant, with vibrant pops of color!

The flowers used for our ceremony, my bouquet and the reception turned out beautifully. 4 star rating given for some communication issues, but that's only because the florist is so good at what she does, she is in demand and therefore very busy. I recommend booking early and making sure to set some time aside during your wedding month for a final meeting.

Winnie from FlorUnique was amazing! My husband and I both loved working with her and would definitely recommend her to anyone. She put together beautiful arrangements for us that were everything we imagined and more. She also worked within our budget and found creative ways to help us save on cost, which we greatly appreciated. We met with a few florists before we decided on Winnie, but she was the only one that I felt truly understood the look I was going for with our wedding flowers. Talk about a cherry on top! We found FlorUnique on The Knot when searching local vendors. Prior to our meeting Winnie reached out and was very detailed in her preparation for our design requests. When we arrived she had many samples of flower options and really made our visit personal. We were able to visually see our product and despite our specific wants and needs, Winnie joined forces and made it happen. Come the day of, we were astonished by how beautifully everything came together. Gorgeous centerpieces, an amazingly breathtaking arch and aisle way, and other accents throughout the venue. We received so many compliments on and requests to keep our floral pieces. We have to extend a great amount of gratitude to Winnie and the team at FlorUnique for making our day truly beautiful and unforgettable. High recommendations to all!

I highly recommend Winnie at FlorUnique! Winnie totally "got" what I wanted even though I know nothing about types of flowers, names of flowers, etc. All I told her was orange gerbera daisies and that I wanted bright, happy, beachy flowers. Our flowers were absolutely perfect - our ceremony was on the beach and the flowers on the arch were stunning, they look amazing in pictures - exactly what I envisioned! Winnie is easy to work with and very reasonably priced.

Absolutely the best work ever. Winnie is amazing at what she puts together and is very professional. From the moment I met her and she showed me ideas in person of flower mixtures I new we were going with Flornique. Her great ideas and then seeing everything on the day of was spectacular. FlorUnique was amazing. They handled all the flowers for our July 2016 wedding at South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes. Winnie, the owner, was super thorough from the beginning. I was first impressed when she asked that we send her pictures of what we had in mind as far as flower type, arrangements, sizes, colors and general style of our wedding. Next, we had a sit-down consultation where we went over all the details she’d be covering. She put together mock-ups on the spot of the table arrangements and bouquets and took very detailed notes of everything we discussed, which she later typed up and emailed to us for our records. It was nice when she offered recommendations for alternatives in order to keep us within budget. She was also very talented as far as taking a concept that we loved and adding to it or suggesting other options that matched our style. This made me really trust her and I felt like I could rely on her to improvise, if need be, especially since she understood our style so well. Her work on our wedding day was absolutely stunning. We just loved everything she put together and received an endless amount of compliments on all our flowers. With as much work as we had for Winnie and her team, she was still able to handle a curve ball I sent her way when I realized I forgot to order some flowers for my hair from her. When my mom and aunt showed up at her studio, they said she handled it with total calmness and was able to quickly prepare some beautiful, delicate flowers and eucalyptus for my hair. I loved it. Winnie and her team delivered all the flowers, showed up early and were very accommodating on-site. We had our wedding on a hot July evening and they were great about waiting to put out arrangements, so as to prevent any wilting. They took great pride in their work, were very well prepared and delivered exactly what was promised (and more).

Winnie came through for us big time in our recent wedding in Santa Monica. We were planning the event from across the country, and I'll admit we were a bit nervous when responses from Winnie (as well as most people in the flower industry) were touch and go. But, Winnie truly delivered for us, not only in her beautiful colorful arrangements that thoughtfully complemented our lush green space, but also in throwing in a number of complimentary extras (including dropping off baby's breath at the hotel the day of the wedding for my hair!) and in flipping the space where our ceremony was (and cleverly reusing a lot of our ceremony decor) to a very romantic, intimate dinner setting. Also, I should mention she did all of space flipping while the power was out during cocktail hour. Winnie was also very good about working with us on price to keep our flower costs down. Anyway, Winnie is a true hero -- fully recommend FlorUnique!

I met Winnie at a bridal convention. There were only a select few vendors I sought out simply because the concept of a bridal convention was a little overwhelming for me. But I'm so happy to have come across Florunique! Winnie was great and accommodating when it came to EVERYTHING! She is very talented and passionate about what she does. She made sure to understand little details and concepts of the florals we wished to have for our wedding. And often double checked for clarification, which was relieving. She's honest in her work and made sure she understood what we wanted. She also had great suggestions!! We received so many compliments on the flowers the day of our wedding and it couldn't have be done without Winnie and her creative and definite unique talent! The day of our wedding she even had extra flowers and arrangements to be placed in some empty spaces to tie the whole event together. Thank you so much Winnie and Florunique for the beautiful work!

Florunique does absolutely beautiful work and made my wedding dream a reality. My flower crown and bouquet were amazing and beautiful as well as the flowers on our arch and our bridesmaids bouquets. Winnie is so great to work with our meetings as well as the set up and take down we're so well organized and made it so easy for me.
