Chef Heather Wong’s passion project focusing on Southern California inspired taste and aesthetic. Using sustainably sourced, organic ingredients from local farmers and vendors.
A Los Angeles native, Heather Wong started her career in 2007 with her popular blog and custom dessert delivery service, The Scootabaker, with flavors highlighting her Chinese and Mexican heritage.
She spent time creating & developing at many bakeries, including Bottega Louie, Sweetsalt, Cascabel, and Josephine Bakery serving as Executive Pastry Chef. She can also be seen making it to the semi-finals on season 4 of the perennial fan favorite Spring Baking Championship on The Food Network.
Opening FLOURING in the summer of 2020, Heather aims to focus on a Southern California inspired taste and aesthetic, using only sustainably sourced, organic ingredients from local farmers and vendors. Happily serving the Los Angeles community for over 10 years, and now head of a small, women-led team.
