One thing I would have appreciated were check-ins every now and then throughout our year and a half engagement but I can understand with someone doing this full-time how that may not be realistic. I was so calm and full of joy because I knew that with my planning and Allison handling everything that day, things were taken care of and would go more than well. We had the perfect wedding day! No hiccups, chaos, or catastrophes. Things were on schedule and all happened in the order and way in which I wanted. One of the best things that Allison did was handled the clean up of all of our decor and supplies throughout the night. That was absolutely a game changer because we left our reception with our car full of our things and we didn't have to worry about coordinating that with any friends or family which was so amazing. I feel so grateful to Allison and her work on our wedding. A wedding coordinator really is such an invaluable vendor to enlist if you can and I would highly recommend Flourish Events!

s finishing home renovations as well as putting in a new garden in a newish house, so Allison kept my panic at bay by offering excellent options for venues, photographers, florists, etc. based on the particular wishes of the absent bride. She accompanied me on most of my big planning meetings and returned my frequent phone calls quickly. She had all the organization that I lacked and, understanding the multiple stresses I was facing at the time, kept me on track with regular email updates for scheduling and bills to be paid. She was a calming presence to the end, even as we were putting leftover reception desserts into the car. As a mother planning a wedding without a bride, I knew Allison had helped me succeed and had allowed my daughter to arrive in town to meet up with her new husband, her friends, and all the family who loved her and not have to worry about a thing except celebrating. And knowing that Allison had everything in hand at the venue, even I got to enjoy the party.

So I bit the bullet and hired Allison (also it wasn't nearly as expensive as I was anticipating). Allison was thorough and professional but also friendly and approachable. We had a few last minute changes (specifically I extended the reception time a few days prior the the event) and Allison just kept updating the timeline and being positive. I am so grateful we had that timeline! I referred to it time and again during the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. We had lots of items that she needed to keep track of for the ceremony and reception, including some momentos that had belonged to my parents. Every single thing was recollected and ready to be brought back home by the end of the night. She collected the table numbers, the flowers, everything that I would have stressed over. She also made sure to hand out our tip money, something that I am super uncomfortable with (and even gave me advice when I asked about tips and amounts earlier in the week). Allison was a lifesaver for my husband and I and was key in making sure our wedding day was stress-free and we experienced literally zero problems. My sister has already hired her for her own wedding in November. You can't go wrong with Allison! And if you're on the fence about hiring a day-of coordinator, do it! You'll thank yourself!

Our ceremony went perfectly, and we attribute this to Allison’s involvement and the fact that we could fully relax and not worry about logistics. For any brides and grooms who are debating if they need a ceremony coordinator: we went back and forth with this and ultimately feel that this was one of the best wedding decisions we made. As a special note, all of the weddings we have played have been right on schedule! We hate it when a wedding gets pushed back 20...30 minutes or more and clients receive less dance time than they have paid for. This has never been an issue at a Flourish wedding and it gives YOU the chance to party with your friends and family the entire night, rather than first getting your salads at 8:00pm (if they were supposed to be served at 7:00!). Case in point, make sure you consider Allison and Flourish for your wedding, you will NOT regret it!
