Ordered 200 ranuculas and they turned out beautiful for our centerpieces and bouquets. They were definitely dehydrated after shipping but after taking care of them for 3 days they came alive just in time. Prices were much cheaper than florists.
I ordered baby's breadth on 8/20 for a 9/27 wedding. I requested and confirmed a 9/25 delivery as I am traveling to the wedding.
Flower explosion did not ship them until 9/21 from Ecuador and only shipped them after I requested an update on shipping.
As of 9/24, FedEx tracking shows the flowers are still in Ecuador.
Flower explosions refuses to refund my purchase as "they are not responsible for shipping delays".
Do not purchase from this company.
I am writing implore you to RUN from Flower Explosion, an online florist company, due to their discriminatory and deceptive business practices. My experience with Flower Explosion has been nothing short of a nightmare, culminating in the ruin of my wedding day due to their gross incompetence and apparent retaliatory actions.
Over a period of five days, I attempted to contact Flower Explosion a staggering 143 times via phone, email, and voicemail. Each attempt was met with complete silence, reflecting an egregious level of customer service negligence. When I finally managed to reach an agent through their text function, I was subjected to further disregard as I waited for hours for a response regarding issues with my order.
The culmination of this ordeal was the abrupt cancellation of my order. This cancellation came with only a partial refund and appeared to be a retaliatory action due to my frustration over their lack of response. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also reflects a deeply troubling practice of punishing customers for seeking basic service.
Moreover, the customer service representative identified as “Andrea” was particularly abusive and inept in handling my issue. Her involvement was marked by a lack of empathy, unhelpfulness, and outright hostility. Andrea’s behavior directly contributed to the destruction of my wedding day, for which there was no discernible reason other than her apparent vindictiveness.
No customer should endure such a harrowing experience, especially during significant life events such as a wedding.
Their prices are great, and their flowers are beautiful. I did have an issue with delivery. I received everything except for 4 bags of blue flower petals 2 days before my wedding. I called them immediately but they could not find blue or white flower petals anywhere, so they had sent me 100 white roses for me to pluck the day before my wedding. Ideally not what I wanted to spend doing the day before my wedding but it had to get done and they looked pretty.
I ordered 200 peonies for my wedding from this vendor. I was doing my centerpieces myself and had a family friend doing the bouquets and boutonnieres, so being able to save the "florist" money seemed like a great idea and they had great reviews.
The website said to have my flowers delivered a day before my event, but I had them delivered two days before.
When it was time to put together centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, etc. only about 40 of my peonies had opened and able to be used. I quickly had to nix the floral part of my centerpieces, and had no flowers for the church.
After my honeymoon, I came home and emailed the company. Andrea was very nice and said she wanted to help me even though it was after the claim deadline. I then received the news that the farm my flowers had come from declined my claim because it was after the deadline. When I told Flower Explosion that it was an unacceptable response for something I paid them for, and so much for, they kindly refunded me $400. This was not the amount for the flowers that did not bloom, however I did not want to push the subject anymore than I had and accepted it.
The flowers that did bloom were beautiful, and the customer service was fantastic, but I would not buy again.
I ordered the David Austen Juliet Garden Roses for my bouquet and they were beyond splendid. I was so happy with them. They arrived carefully packaged and in wonderful condition. Customer service was friendly and helpful, even calling to check up on my order.
