Flowers by Bernard

I am so happy we used Flowers by Bernard as our florist! They were super helpful and communicative with myself and my now husband, who know upsettingly little about color schemes and florals. They created stunning and unique pieces for us - our bouquets were awesome and the centerpieces were a perfect touch!

I had a great experience at Flowers by Bernard. They did the flowers for my wedding, which was in April 2022. My bridesmaids were wearing various shades of purple. I had described to Elissa that I wanted a lot of color in the bridesmaids' bouquets with purples, some orange and pops of hot pink. I had a photo from Pinterest of an idea I had for my bridal bouquet and described modifications I wanted in mine. All the bouquets came out fabulous and the girls loved them. For the men, I did a white orchid for my father. My husband had a white orchid with galaxy orchids for accent. The best mad had a calla lily in a color to match the maid of honor's dress and she had two of those same flowers in her bouquet. The groomsmen had light purple roses with accents that were in a deep purple. The boutonnière's looked great on the men and awesome in pictures. For the tables, being it was a daytime wedding, I wanted very low-profile flowers so people could talk to each other. It was spring, so I wanted lots of color. Elissa suggested flower wreaths that had a glass cylinder in the middle filled with water, with submerged flowers and a floating tea light candle. They looked magnificent. The table with the seating cards had glass cylinder vases with white and purple tulips submerged in water. The head table had the same vibrant colors in a centerpiece with purple flowers in urns on the floor. Elissa was great to work with and provided great suggestions when I gave ideas. She let me know when she thought an alternative idea would work better. Everyone loved the flowers and guests were more than eager to take the centerpieces home. Even people that weren't at the wedding that saw the pictures commented on how beautiful the flowers were. I am more than pleased with how the flowers came out and I found the prices to be very reasonable. I had gone to another florist initially and the price was double what I paid at Flowers by Bernard and for less items. Flowers by Bernard does beautiful work and they are reasonably priced as far as the average cost at other florists. I would highly recommend them. I live near the shop and since I started working with them for the wedding, I have gotten other flower arrangements there and have been satisfied each time.

Elissa, Glenn, Michele, Liz and Judie at FBB are so wonderful and amazing! They have a beautiful vision and brought my dream wedding to life. They are all so talented and great at what they do! Highly recommend this family florist that has been around for 50 years!

We loved working with Flowers by Bernard! We worked with Elissa, and she couldn’t have been more wonderful. From start to finish Elissa was kind, professional, and so incredibly helpful. She respected our budget and was able to make our vision come alive. I have always used this florist, but they really impressed me with their gorgeous arrangements for our wedding. We HIGHLY recommend using this florist!
