Just use them!! You will not regret it one bit. Michelle went above and beyond to make my dreams a reality. I know nothing about flowers and she guided me through figuring out what would look beautiful. She decorated a stunning arch, made gorgeous bouquets, and even decorated my wedding cake for me. She answered all of my questions, met with me several times, and gave me what I needed before I even knew I needed it. I will certainly be using Flowers from the Farm again and recommending them to all of my friends!!

Although we only had very general ideas for florals, Michelle somehow knew exactly what we wanted and made our wedding day more beautiful than we could have imagined. From our first consultation, we knew we wanted to work with them, because they were down to earth, experienced, knowledgable and funny! They took our ideas and ran with them, making suggestions that would work with our budget and colors, and bringing in new ideas that took the design to the next level of beauty, simplicity and practicality. They weren't afraid to let us know if something we suggested wasn't going to stay fresh or look right. But they always had alternative ideas to suggest based on their many years of experience. They allowed us to supply our own eclectic collection of jars, and they mixed and matched to make everything look perfectly casual and put-together. Michelle put us at ease throughout the whole process, making this important element of our wedding design extremely fun and low-maintenance! We couldn't be happier.

Booking a florist for my wedding was a worrisome to-do because I feared the costs I would be quoted to get the beautiful arrangements plastered all over Pinterest. However, I took a leap of faith and was referred to Flowers from the Farm... and may I say it was one of the best decisions I ever made! From our first meeting with Michelle I knew that she would be able to make my dreams come true. Her personality and larger-than-life smile made the experience an unforgettable one. A service that I absolutely loved was the ability to have a trial run of our flowers before the event. Being able to see what had been discussed in person made the decision process so much easier. It also allowed for some reality checks because the flowers I had requested were quite expensive per stem. Michelle sensed my unhappiness and quickly suggested other flowers that would not only better suit my modest budget but would still allow me to have the look I was going for. When the flowers arrived on the big day, I cried. They were so beautiful that I was speechless. Michelle and her talented team did such an amazing job!

Michelle did an incredibly beautiful job on the bouquet, boutonnieres, and flowers on our cake. She was always available for a phone call or in-person meeting if we needed to ask a question or make changes to our floral arrangements. She is a very kind and heartfelt person and that came through in her work for our wedding.

Michelle was innnncredible. First, her quote was way less than other florists for the same ideas. Flowers weren't really something I cared about a ton so I gave her minimal direction, just a "style" of the wedding and some colors. What she created was better than I ever could have imagined. She even created mock tall and short centerpieces as well as bouquets and boutonnieres so I got a visual of what we would be getting on the day of- that was so important! On the day of the wedding everything looked beautiful and exactly what I envisioned.

Michelle and her team are the absolute best!!! I wasn’t sure what I wanted and I described to her my color scheme and showed her some pictures. She instantly calmed me down and walked me through the whole process. This may have been the easiest part of wedding planning because she took over and really created my vision!!! I was the Matron of Honor at a wedding this past weekend and Flowers From the Farm did all the florals. Michelle is just the SWEETEST of all time and was so excited to see the bride see her bouquet the morning of the wedding. The bouquets she has for the bridesmaids were gorgeous and matched the color scheme perfectly. The centerpieces were just perfection and gave the hall that extra pop. I wish I lived closer (I am out of state) so I could use Flowers From the Farm for all of my events! ;-)

Working with Michelle at Flowers From The Farm was truly a delight. I oddly had the hardest time finding a florist for our wedding, no one I spoke with had any idea what I wanted, even after showing a lot of photos. But I knew as soon as I got to the farm that they would be perfect. Melissa sat with be for a really long time and understood what I meant immediately, and she improved on my ideas! They were so reasonably priced as well. We picked up our loose flowers and had the bouquets delivered, everything went so smoothly and the whole staff was a pleasure to work with.

Both my husband and I are pretty clueless about flowers, but Michelle was able to totally figure out what we were looking for - to a tee!!! My flowers were stunning! Michelle was so professional and absolutely fantastic to work with. Flowers are not my forte and I was most nervous about finding a florist who would create something beautiful within a budget. Not only was Michelle creative and collaborative but she kept everything under my budget and was so flexible -- she consistently said "This is your day and I am just here to make it easy and affordable for you." And she did!

Planning a wedding from another state is not easy, but flowers from the farm made it feel like a breeze! We initially found them through the knot and Facebook. There weren’t a ton of reviews online but we liked the pictures of their work that we had seen, and their prices were unbeatable. It was nerve wracking picking a vendor without seeing their work in person, but the minute I spoke to Michelle on the phone for the first time I knew we found the florist we wanted to use. She was beyond friendly and made us feel at ease. I had sent her pictures to of the style I wanted and from our discusisions I knew she truly understood the style I was going for!

I truly could not say enough good things about Flowers from the Farm and specifically Michelle to do her and their work justice. Between speaking on the phone with Michelle for the first time and meeting her in person at their farm, I felt like I had made a new best friend. She was so incredibly easy to talk to, understood exactly the vision I had and ambiance I wanted to display at our wedding (and I have very limited knowledge and understanding of flowers) and made me feel so at ease and confident that I left our first meeting knowing everything would come out perfectly. Michelle, the owner of Flowers from the Farm, is INCREDIBLE!! She was so easy to work with and incredibly accommodating. She allowed my mom to save me some money by dropping off some of her own flowers to Michelle, who happily offered to arrange them with her flowers for our center pieces. She also didn't charge me to hang a picture charm from my bouquet. Everyone commented on how stunning the flowers were - I couldn't be happier with how everything came out. Thank you, Michelle!!

I love this florist!! I was able to meet with them twice beforehand to confirm details and they were really hands on! The flower delivery went well, it was right on time, and the flowers were not only beautiful but exactly what we wanted!! We had a (sort of) custom order with succulents in most of the arrangements and they were absolutely beautiful! I would highly recommend them!

Flowers from the Farm was referred by a co-worker of mine who had used them for her wedding and I couldn’t be happier that I booked them for my wedding on June 10, 2017. Michelle and team exceeded all of my expectations from my bouquet to all the centerpieces, I am still in awe of how amazing everything turned out! I can't say enough good things about this place! After doing a lot of searching for a florist for my May 27, 2017 wedding, I am so happy my friend referred me to flowers from the farm. Michelle was awesome! From the very first meeting she was receptive to the "look" that I was going for and her confidence made me feel relaxed about the process. She was receptive and responsive to all of my questions along the way. My bouquet and all of the flowers for my wedding came out beautiful and they lasted for days after! I can't say enough good things and highly recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a responsible and reasonably priced wedding florist!

Flowers from the Farm is FANTASTIC to work with! Michelle's prices came in far below the three other florists we contacted for our wedding. She was so easy-going, yet professional, and used her expertise to make all my ideas for flower types, colors, and our budget work together perfectly. I was super impressed at our first meeting when she gathered a bunch of flowers together in her hands, adding and subtracting different types and greenery I had never heard of, until we had a good idea of what we wanted for centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres. Michelle even incorporated some crazy gold faux alliums that I had purchased into our escort card arrangement at the last minute. I was thrilled with how easy the entire process was and the final result. Michelle is the best!!!

One of the best decisions I made while planning our wedding was choosing Flowers From the Farm as our florist!!! Our flowers were absolutely stunning! The bouquets exceeded our expectations, Michelle really nailed what I was going for. And in addition to being an amazing florist, Michelle also went above and beyond to make sure I stayed sane through the planning process. She made herself available to answer any and all questions. I can't give enough praise to Flowers From the Farm and Michelle - they were absolutely phenomenal and we are so lucky to have found them for our 9/24/16 wedding!!! When my now husband and I were in the planning stages, we didn't know where to turn for flowers....we're from another state and were having our wedding in CT, so we had no personal experience to go off of. I used The Knot and found Flowers From the Farm, and after reading all the rave reviews, I knew we had to look into working with them. He and I drove up to CT one weekend and met with Michelle, who spent over 2 hours talking with us, planning, and making all kinds of arrangements to show us what our options would be. We knew right then and there that we had found our florist as she was so attentive and dedicated, and was clearly passionate about what she does. Michelle and I communicated back and forth about a few changes (we added a flower girl and ring bearer a few months before the wedding) and she was always quick to respond and more than willing to work with what we asked for. The day of the wedding, I was rushing around to get ready, take photos, etc, and I barely got to appreciate the bouquet the first time I saw it as I was running to do our first look. Afterwards, when I finally had a minute, I couldn't believe how gorgeous the bouquet was.....it was an incredible mix of daisies, peach roses, and ivory roses, exactly what I had hoped it would be - bridal, but not "stuffy" or overly formal as our venue was a low-key apple orchard. The bridesmaids' bouquets were beautiful as well, and everyone was so happy with the bright coral daisies! We can't wait to get our wedding photos and see how everything works perfectly together!!! I cannot recommend Flowers From The Farm highly enough. I have been using Michelle as my florist for years, so it was easy to select her for our wedding needs. She is professional, honest, fun, and values quality over all else. She still holds to traditional methods for event flowers-- things like wrapping all corsage flowers by hand rather than gluing them, which means her corsages don't run the risk of falling apart during your event-- and really gives 110% to her clients. Her flowers are always stunning and long-lasting; I have never had to worry about a bouquet from her, no matter the event. When I worked with her for my wedding, she kept me grounded in reality with her recommendations and turned out a beautiful product that matched my vision perfectly. (And perfect was the only word I could find to describe my bouquet on the day of!) I couldn't possibly be happier with the end result: my bouquet was stunning, the bridesmaids' bouquets were exactly what I wanted, and the boutonnieres and corsages were equally beautiful (I keep looking at my husband's boutonniere next to my bouquet, because I haven't been able to bring myself to throw them away yet!). Michelle, her mom Laurie and all the lovely ladies at Flowers From The Farm are the most discerning florists I've ever met. Flowers from the Farm is worth every single penny!

I wish I could give Flowers from the Farm more than 5 stars! They were absolutely amazing. Working with Michelle was easy and fun. She truly worked to bring my vision to life, not just use "tried and true" conventional floral arrangements (which is the problem I ran into when seeking consultations from other florists). She did test runs and reworked arrangements to get them just right. Everything came out beautifully - I swear the flowers could have been featured in a bridal magazine! I could not recommend them more highly.

From the very beginning, working with Michelle and the staff was an absolutely wonderful experience. She listened so well to our ideas and was able to create exactly what we had hoped for. It was such a fun experience to watch her put the bouquets together with us! We did not want to spend a lot of money on the flowers and she was able to work with us to still have the look of what we wanted, but not the price. The centerpieces matched our venue perfectly and guests continue to talk about how beautiful they were. Michelle is very laid back, which was perfect for my husband and I. I highly recommend Flowers From the Farm!

After my initial consultation with Laurie, I was confident that they would be able to execute what I wanted. I was very disappointed to see that this was not the case. I should have walked away when my then fiance ordered a flower arrangement from their website and what I received was not like the picture at all. My bouquet was supposed to have fuchsia roses in addition to other flowers wrapped in a diamond cloth, but I received white roses wrapped in a solid pink cloth. We received and were charged for an extra boutonniere. The bows in the church were supposed to be on every 4 pews and Laurie had me count the pews in the church to make sure they were evenly spread out. Laurie and her delivery staff put all 4 bows in a row and they didn't even start with the first pew so needless to say it looked horrible! My mom's wristlet fell apart instantly due to poor assembly. The center pieces were supposed to have a single rose at the base of the vase like Laurie stated and they didn't. Laurie also charged $25 more per centerpiece 2 weeks before the wedding without an explanation as to why. Laurie told us that the final payment would be due at delivery and would not take a check at our last consultation. I received a call the day prior to the wedding asking where the money was. We contacted Laurie immediately following the wedding and after a few emails we finally heard back from them saying they were sorry, but their notes did not indicate the above issues when we clearly finalized the plans ahead of time. We just finally received a check in the mail with a note stating Lauren called the week of the wedding going over all of the flowers and colors to make sure they were indeed correct on the notes. Lauren did not do this! This establishment has to be one of the most disorganized and unprofessional businesses ever! Do not go here and have them ruin your flowers! It is worth it to pay the extra money and go somewhere that can fulfill your wishes.

Lauren and her staff created the most beautiful bouquets, and centerpieces we could have ever imagined. She took my ideas and recreated everything we wanted. Wonderful to work with, excellent finished product, and very reasonably priced.

Very Easy to work with. They have obviously dine weddings before. I only ordered my corsages and boutineers from them, but they were just what I was looking for and ordered in about 5 minutes of a phone call. Price was average, but I like supporting local businesses. I picked up the flowers, but they also deliver. We have flower arrangments delivered weekly to where I work and they are always unique, seasonal, natural and last. Great local business at a fair price and very easy to work with.

My wedding bouquet was beautiful

I was extremely happy with my choice about Flowers from the Farm for my wedding flowers. At my first meeting I knew I wanted to book them. I love that it is a family business and you can feel the love when you enter the room. I brought pictures of what I was looking for and they were honest about pricing and gave me other ideas that were similar for less money. The flowers were gorgeous! I was so happy with them. We had white hydrangea's on the table that lasted two weeks after the wedding! The pricing is extremely reasonable and the experienced florists even made beautiful arrangements for the cocktail hour tables for a great price. I highly recommend flowers from the farm in hamden!

a. Our flowers were beautiful. I did not have a clear idea as to what I wanted for table centerpieces or bouquets and boutonnieres and relied on their help. During our consultation (which was only two weeks before the wedding because I had to plan most of it from out of state) I told them our colors (Ivory wedding dress, three different shades of purple on the bridesmaids) and gave them our budget. Right then and there she went and got flowers and created examples of what we could have. She stuck to our small budget and everything was beautiful. They are a wonderful family to work with and I would love to have a reason to work with them again!

I have them only colors and let them do whatever they thought looked best...they came out beautiful...and the colors were exactly what I wanted. They definately took a lot of time to understand what would look best in the context of our wedding.

SO EASY to work with and SO reasonably priced! They cost a fraction of all of the other florists I looked into!
