The staff helped me get the dresses on and made me feel so comfortable in the dressing room. What made our experience AMAZING was that Colby John, the owner, and designer of Flutter, was on site and was helping me with a dress. He was able to provide so much insight into the dress I had on and told me he could change the dress in a few ways to make it customized for me. The dress I had on when Colby arrived was the dress I ended up purchasing, and Colby celebrated with me and my guests with some champagne and was more than willing to take pictures with me. It honestly was such an amazing experience as a bride and for my guests to have the designer help me with the dress and then celebrate once I said: “yes to the dress”.

With high expectations and a vision in mind, I went into Flutter and had the honor to try on for the first time a Colby John dress and absolutely FELL IN LOVE!!! These dresses make you feel confident in your own body. Elegant, romantic, chic, classy yet trendy, head turning, dresses are what this designer designs. This MN girl felt the high end NYC fashion when trying on these dresses. Thank you to the designer for making me feel so beautiful in my own skin!

Flutter I KNEW this was the place. I’m from Vegas - getting married in Austin - and apparently buying my dress in Minneapolis!!!! The staff was friendly, aesthetically amusing and wonderful (I’ll love any place with the office/Schitt’s Creek/pop culture decor), and the dresses displayed were GORG. The designer of the dress I loved so hard on insta was actually there by chance and he told me settling was ABSOLUTELY NOT an option and 10 minutes later I was in my dream dress. Down to the details this shop will help you customize/find your dress!!!! The amount of love I felt was incredible. I wish I could give this shop 100/5 stars. Love you them ♥️

I'm a true believer that your experience dress shopping influences what dress is "the one" and if it wasn't for her help I wouldn't have found that! She offered to come in early for me the next day to have a follow-up appointment to confirm the dress I picked out was the one so that my mom could come with me. She was just absolutely amazing.

The lady who helped seemed disinterested and I honestly felt like I was a bother. Not that anyone knew - but I had a mini cry sesh on my own in the dressing room before we left because I was so frustrated. I'm a plus size bride and didn't feel like anything I tried on was flattering either. Needless to say, that appt ended early. The difference between that experience and flutter was like night and day. Talia was amazing! She took the time to ask me questions to get to know me and figure out what I was envisioning/excited about. She came into the dressing room and helped me (this is a big thing - I didn't get that at David's Bridal and it's a lot to do it all yourself with a facemask on). I had questions and she had answers. She was as excited about Studio Levana as I was! Turns out the dress I got the most excited about months ago is the one I ended up with! I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day! It was so comfortable and felt like a second skin. I didn't know a dress could be so comfortable. I will recommend Flutter to anyone I talk to about this experience. I honestly wish you still did Bridesmaid collections because I'd go through you in a heartbeat based off of this experience. Seriously, thank you so much - I feel like I could cry tears of joy (and probably will sometime soon lol). THANK YOU! <3

my budget. I had tried on numerous dresses at other boutiques and was unable to find anything I liked within my budget. The consultant at Flutter suggested I try on a dress off the rack. She helped me to see how this dress could be transformed with alterations and I absolutely loved the end product! My dress was a dream and I am so glad that I found it at Flutter!

y members were seated very close to me. Later, my future mother-in-law remarked that she could barely see the dresses on me since I was so close! The woman was very pushy, and kept asking me how I rated each dress compared to the previous one. She walked right into the dressing room while I was changing without asking for permission. They were really weird about my sister helping me find a dress- she picked one out for me (that I ended up liking), and they ended up putting it back on the rack! Again, overwhelming is the word I would use. It was very uncomfortable and awkward, and I was so ready to be done. I do not recommend this to anyone.

d. I like that it's open by appointment only- we had the whole store to ourselves for browsing and trying on dresses, so it wasn't hectic like some other shops. The store is beautiful, with great lighting and a gorgeous bank of windows that look out to the river. Kirby was great at listening to what I was looking for in a dress and found many dresses like that within my budget, but she also pulled some dresses that were a very different style from what I had imagined- and that was the dress that I fell in love with! My dress came in 2 months sooner than I expected and communication with the store was always very easy. I'd definitely recommend Flutter to anyone looking for a wedding dress!
