Fonix entertainment really was great through the whole process of wedding planning. We had multiple calls and meetings to make sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted, and they made sure they didn't play a song that we didn't. DJ Jonathan was great, he showed up on time and dressed nicely. He kept the party going without being too much. Our crowd isn't the dancing type, and he got everyone up on the dance floor! We got our uplighting from them, and I'm glad we got them because it just added a little more to the venue that wasn't there.

JJ did a great job at our wedding! During the ceremony, I could tell that he was adjusting the volume of the microphones based on how loudly or softly people were speaking – it may seem like a small detail, but I really appreciated it. At the reception, he played all of our “must play” and many of our “try to play” songs. He put together a great playlist that kept people on the dance floor all night despite the malfunctioning air conditioning at our venue! I never worried for one minute about working with Fonix because they were SO responsive anytime we needed anything. It was so great to be able to contact Travis or Olivia with any questions – everyone on our account team was really helpful and reassuring. I would absolutely recommend Fonix Entertainment for your big day!

Rating Reason: lack of understood preparation. Explanation: we sat face to face in a café and discussed expectations and music; we then had multiple phone calls, exchanged emails, and spent HOURS filling out forms regarding the same thing. We also spent time researching specific music because of a database failure to even pull up the wedding march, yet, during the wedding there were questionable instances of proper preparation and professionalism. Specifically, Fonix Entertainment sent out a Gmail event to add to my calendar, which had the DJ arriving 1.5 hours before the ceremony to set up, yet he was late, AND he showed up in jeans. What was worse-Fonix Entertainment specifically added in the contract what type of attire was expected of the DJ - black slacks and black top. To the best of our knowledge the guests didn’t notice jeans on the DJ, as he changed before the reception, but this just adds to the frustration. Another issue was during the MOG dance, an advertisement played for several seconds in the middle of the song, which was not only embarrassing, but it is an ex. of lack of preparedness and validation of their product. A 3rd issue was on 2 occasions the groom had to request a change in music, after spending hours talking about styles and expectations of not playing too slow of music. I’m sure the wedding attendees did not notice and may have even enjoyed this style of music, it was not the style/pace of what was discussed and agreed upon during our numerous communications. As clients, we held up our side of the contract with payment, accountability with forms and answering questions on our expectations, but where was the fulfillment from the vendor’s side? These issues shouldn’t have happened if the amount of time the B&G invested was proportionally matched in preparation by the DJ. There was a large amount of time invested and a larger invoice paid, and these investments were not matched equally by Fonix Entertainment in their preparation.

Art with Fonix did an amazing job of keeping our wedding and reception on time, and our party going!!

Company was very easy to work with. We honestly did not have a ton of time to do the planning, but we gave Travis and JJ what we had, and they ran with it. We had some unique choices for music, but they pulled it off spectacularly.

Travis is amazing!! He kept everyone on the dance floor even my 80yr old grandmother! The uplighting was perfect. I received the best compliments from our guests. As a Bride the best feeling is seeing everyone on the dance floor having a great time!

We were considering the services of Fonix Entertainment for our wedding, but have chosen a different DJ in the end. We had an in person meeting with DJ Fonix and a DJ which supposed to be the DJ at our wedding. They both were quite professional and proactive throughout our communication with them, but a little out of our budget. It was also hard to negotiate price with them. Overall, we were not impressed enough to pay the price they wanted us to pay for their services, and finally found a DJ who met all our criteria.

I knew when I met Travis at a bridal show that he would deliver nothing but the best! He was so professional, and I loved his online planning forms. I'm sure we talked on the phone during the final weeks at least >2 hours trying to get these organized and finalized. He definitely delivered and I felt so confident that he would be amazing! Would highly recommend Fonix and especially travis!

I would have to say Travis is the best DJ this side of heaven. From the planning profile, that is VERY detailed to the last meeting I felt as Travis really knew what I wanted. He made sure that I got the music I wanted interacted with our guest and made our wedding that more special. I would suggest that every bride in Atlanta go with Fonix Entertainment! They are the best of the best.

DJ JJ was wonderful! He kept our party going all night, while keeping in mind the few requests of songs that my husband and I made. From there, he made a great selection of music choices throughout the evening, along with announcing events and helping mic our toasts accordingly. He was wonderful at staying in touch with our wedding planner all evening and making sure we stayed "on schedule." What I loved about using Fonix Entertainment was that we were able to meet our DJ from the very beginning - we didn't have to wait and see who would show up. They also have an online planning site that let me input my choices really easily. Overall, we would highly recommend!

Dj JJ was amazing and made our wedding perfect. All of our guests raved over the dj and the whole process was smooth and stress free! They did everything we asked of them, were very helpful, and made sure our concerns were taken care of. Also made suggestions for our lighting which worked out well and looked phenomenal! Would use again and recommend to anyone!

Travis was an excellent DJ. He sold us within minutes during our first phone call, and sealed the deal with our face to face with his professionalism, understanding our disparate musical styles. He was a lively character, kept the energy high, and gave us some fantastic ambiance. Great decision.

My husband found Travis online. Since we were planning our wedding out of town it was important that we find someone who would be able to meet our needs while planning out of town. Travis was that person. He was so helpful to Brandon and I. Music was so important to us both and Travis understood that. He worked with us until right before the ceremony to make sure everything was just right. When the day came he really helped to make the ceremony music smooth and to move the reception along. I would recommend him to anyone looking! He was affordable and very willing to work with us to meet our needs.

Fonix was wonderful to work with, very responsive! Their website is amazing. JJ was our day-of DJ and he kept everyone dancing all night long. He never played a song we didn't like and he rolled with the punches. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Fonix Entertainment was our choice of DJ vendor for our wedding! We were completely satisfied, as were our guest! "You guys DJ was HOT!" Loved his old-school flavor while mixing in today's technology and music in the mix. Appreciated how they sit down with you before your event to get an idea of who you are and what flavor of music you like and what possibly will be the overall groove among our guest. Flawless !Sound quality, lights, music line up, all of it. We had the best time ever. We danced all night long. He read the dance floor and knew exactly what to do and when. Thank you Travis For making our moment so rememberable for us. P.s. Everyone is still talking about it.

Fonix Entertainment delivered excellent entertainment! Our DJ, JJ, was so much fun! I don't think there was ever a second during the night when the dance floor wasn't bursting at the seams! Our guests are still raving about the party that JJ provided! No words can describe the party we were given! It was so much fun! We will definitly use Fonix Entertainment again and recommend them to everyone we know!
