included several passed hors d'oeuvres and a food station with options ranging from build-your-own mac & cheese to Thai sesame noodles, as well as multiple dinner entrees and sides + chocolate dipped fruit for dessert - we also hired Roxanne as our day-of coordinator. She is a seasoned professional and handled everything perfectly - answering every single anxiety-driven inquiry or question that we had for several months leading up to the big day. She was readily available via phone, text and email, and went above and beyond in so many ways to ensure that every T was crossed and I was dotted. We used a non-traditional venue that hasn't hosted many weddings yet, so there were a ton of new hurdles to hop over, but we were not to worry because Roxanne worked as a teammate with us, the venue, the local township, our tent company etc - and the result was a seamlessly wonderful day! And of course we need to discuss the food... wow! Not only was the Foodwerx staff super engaged and friendly, there was SO MUCH delicious food (we got to take the leftovers home afterwards) and it was all so excellent! They even helped us connect with a company to bring a special outdoor tented kitchen since the venue didn't have one, so everything was hot, fresh and ready to go as the night progressed. We didn't do a tasting in advance due to Covid restrictions, so of course we were a bit nervous leading up to the big day as we didn't know what to expect, but in the end everything was delicious and we got tons of compliments - all very well deserved! It should be noted that Roxanne made it a point to guarantee that we were fed first, as well as our immediate families after us, and took care of guest dietary restrictions with ease as well. Roxanne also handled our timeline with us and made sure everything ran on time, coordinating with the venue, DJ, photographer etc to make sure everyone was where they needed to be. All in all, we were nervous about how everything would turn out day-of, like any couple-to-be, but we couldn't be happier with the results and Foodwerx/Roxanne deserves a massive portion of the credit. Thanks again to Foodwerx and Roxanne for a stellar job!

t agree more. The Foodwerx staff ensured that I (the bride) and my husband got to enjoy the food at our cocktail hour and reception. Thank God because I don’t think I would have remembered to eat! Secondly, PLEASE do yourself a favor and hire Roxanne as your day of coordinator. She was so pleasant to work with. From day one at our food tasting, she made sure we had all of our questions and concerns addressed immediately. In the months leading up to our wedding Roxanne was extremely thorough and detailed in her responses. She provided a very clear timeline and helped me coordinate everything with our vendors. I had no doubt that the day of our wedding would run smoothly because of her help and dedication. Roxanne went above and beyond! Our day was absolutely perfect and stress-free thanks to the Foodwerx staff. 11/10 would recommend this team!!

From the second we contacted foodwerx we were put in touch with Roxanne, who helped us from beginning to end and was beyond helpful and responsive for every.single.detail! I did not have a wedding planner… Roxanne guided us through the process in which a wedding planner would normally take over - She answered all questions, handled paperwork, Instructed timelines, coordinated booking & delivery, ie: ice, trash service, alcohol (all separate outlets/vendors) she worked with us directly to select our menu and even gave her honest, personal/professional feedback on what items were worth choosing over others, which items were a huge hit at previous weddings Vs. other items we might have chose and would not have been as successful. She walked us through the process of everything - step by step. She reached out to us for everything, we did not have to follow up and wait for a response, ever. I also will note, we didnt taste test anything before choosin our menu. we went solely off of our personal choice, as well as the guidance of Roxanne’s suggestions & I wouldn’t change one thing!! Feedback from guests was an overwhelming number who complimented how good the food was, and a large number even went as far to ask for the info. of our caterer to have as a reference for future events! Through our entire planning, Roxanne would say “our food speaks for itself” - and it really does. Day of coordination was flawless, we had no hiccups.. everything was perfectly planned, coordinated, and executed according to the timeline we went over with Roxanne… day of: we were in contact with margie, our day of coordinator who made sure everything went smooth, so was sweet and helpful - made sure the day was a success and was there from set up to break down. Thank you to the entire foodwerx team for making our wedding day amazing!!!

ice (since we are in the same industry) this was so important to us. They beyond exceeded all of our expectations. The food was amazing, every guest of ours is still complimenting it. The staff? Uhm, AMAZING. All so personable, helpful, attentive, fast, everything you look for in a catering company. We had over 200 guests, it is not easy to feed that many people, but they did it with ease. Every appetizer, side dish, entree, salad, cocktail, etc was raved about and that is all we could ever ask. I can't tell you how many of my married friends said they did not eat at their wedding, when we sat to eat, multiple guests were raving. We sat to take the entire moment in, and we ate, and it was BEYOND. I truly cannot say enough about the company and especially Roxanne. From day one of speaking with her until the wedding day, it was such a great experience. She was able to help guide me and explain to me what may be best for us and our guests and I appreciated that so much. So again, THAN YOU from the bottom of our hearts. When my now husband and I discussed what our priorities were when it came to our wedding day, our number one priority was a no brainer: food and beverage. My husband and I love to eat amazing food and most of our fondest memories involve enjoying an amazing meal! Our wedding food and beverage had to be incredible and the decision was made to look for and hopefully secure a top catering company near Mt. Laurel, NJ for our wedding day. A bit a research and abundantly positive Google and Yelp reviews brought me to Foodwerx Catering. Along with their catering packages, Foodwerx offered the services of a day of coordinator, Roxanne. Going with Foodwerx and utilizing the services of Roxanne was the best decision we made regarding our wedding day. Roxanne’s attention to detail, planning, timeline management, coordination of vendors, communication, vast experience, aesthetic, logistical expertise, and most importantly, warm and kind heart are everything a couple needs to ensure that their wedding event exceeds every expectation. Every bump in the road or unexpected turn of events was handled calmly, promptly, and professionally. Adding additional décor flourish to our reception area; she handled it. Adjusting our timeline to ensure that our photographers got cake cutting shots before our contractual end time; she handled it. Last minute realization that a generator was needed for the outdoor kitchen; she handled it. Simply put, she worked magic at every turn to ensure that we had the best day possible. Now, the food. There are almost no words for how incredibly the food was prepared, served, and how much our guests enjoyed. Our families are not easy to please when it comes to food. Therefore, cookie cutter lukewarm generic wedding food was NOT AN OPTION for our day. Foodwerx surpassed all expectations by providing food that was scratch made on site, served hot and fresh, and was unbelievably flavorful and delicious. I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for all of Roxanne and Foodwerx’s tireless efforts. Bottom line, if you are looking for an exemplary culinary and wedding day coordinating experience, look no further than Foodwerx!!

Unfortunately, the pandemic changed our plans so we were not able to use Foodwerx for our wedding as much as we were looking forward to it. The Foodwerx team accommodated us by allowing us to book them for another event utilizing our initial deposit. We celebrated our son’s first birthday this past weekend and finally got to serve Foodwerx’s delicious appetizers! Everyone raved about how delicious everything was. Once again, Roxanne was a pleasure to work with! Can’t recommend enough!

A week or so before the wedding we met with our coordinator Alyssa. She was equally as AMAZING as Nick was. She came to our home and walked the whole event with us, including suggesting a few changes that really made total sense. She set us at ease that the big day we waited so long for was going to happen flawlessly. The day of was perfect. I don’t even remember the team arriving. I just remember walking into the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. No one knew that we pulled this off with only 2 weeks from beginning to end. So grateful for Nick, Alyssa and the entire team for making our worst COVID nightmares seem like it never even mattered. The food was delicious, the drinks were delightful and everyone is still talking about it. You can’t go wrong booking this dream team for your wedding.

y with Foodwerx in the past, I reached out to Alyssa; not only did they create a custom menu (matching exactly what we had originally planned), but at great pricing. She offered to handle all of the rentals as well, but I decided to do that on my own. I’m not going to lie, I was not very excited for this plan and stressing out every day. Little did I know, it was exactly what I wanted. The food was amazing (if you are debating on getting crab cakes... just do it, they were incredible), the displays were amazing, and the service was even better! A huge thank you to Alyssa, Nick, and the Foodwerx team for making our wedding the most perfect day!! :)

We contracted for a chef and two servers to be present at the event and they did an outstanding job. They handled the entire event from start to finish, including ALL the clean up (not just packing food up, but also cleaning entire kitchen, taking out all trash/recycling, etc) The day flowed flawlessly and Foodwerx was a BIG part of the reason why. I would recommend them to any bride!

They set up, served everything to everyone, made sure our guests with allergies were taken care of, checked on our guests throughout, and cleaned everything up as if they hadn’t even been there. Not a single thing was left out of place when they left! The food was to die for!!! I wish They could cook for us every day! pleasure to work with. I had a 300 person wedding in Philadelphia – a number that made many caterers balk as I was in the beginning stages of my planning. Not only did foodwerx not turn away from me, but they curated a menu that was delicious, yet simple…elaborate, yet doable. My guests were fed in a timely manner and could not be more complimentary about the food that was served. The passed hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour had people pulling me aside to compliment. NOW ABOUT ROXANNE – to my future grooms and brides…you need Roxanne not only as a catering partner, but as a day-of coordinator. My wedding went off without a hitch. It was a seamless transition from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception, to after party, all within the same space. I made the very ‘courageous’ (or that’s what I’m calling it!) choice to have our wedding in a non-traditional space…a space that foodwerx and Roxanne had never seen. A space that had an incomplete kitchen and no glassware. Roxanne had everything taken care of – ordered, and assembled – without much input from me at all. She took the stress of the wedding off of me so that I could enjoy my day with my husband and my guests. She even put together a platter of food for us from our cocktail hour so we could enjoy it later, having spent that time taking pictures. I don’t know what more I can say, except that if you are stressing about food for your wedding, foodwerx is the ONLY way to go.
