ld at a private lake house rather than a traditional venue, so there were already a lot of moving pieces — and then, the night before our wedding, we had an unexpected issue with our rental tent that resulted in the tent having to come down entirely at 2am! There was no rain in the forecast, but Michigan weather can be finicky and during the celebration Becca came up to me and told me there was rain expected around 8pm. Becca never seemed fazed. She worked with our band to come up with a backup plan, kept an eye on the weather and made sure we were still able to have our special dances outside on the dance floor before seamlessly moving the band and celebration onto the covered deck where we'd had dinner. They made the move at exactly the right time, just before the rain came. I barely even noticed any of it happening. It was so smooth that it almost felt like it had been the plan all along. That was how Becca handled the entire day. She was always calm, kind, capable and one step ahead. She coordinated vendors, helped me with my dress and veil and somehow even ended up washing dishes. There was seemingly nothing she wasn’t willing to jump in and help with. And it wasn’t just us who noticed. Afterward, so many of our family members and guests went out of their way to tell us how incredible she was. Most importantly, Becca made it possible for my husband and me to actually relax and enjoy our wedding. I never felt like I needed to check on what was happening next or worry about whether something was being taken care of because I completely trusted that she had it handled. Our celebration was everything we hoped it would be — relaxed, joyful, personal and so much fun — and Becca was a huge part of making that possible. We are incredibly grateful to her and truly could not recommend her more highly.

On the big day, Kim and Jora set everything up for the ceremony and turned the venue around for the reception where I had absolute faith in them executing my vision or making last minute calls that aligned with my goals for the event. She had to think quickly and calmly on the wedding way when our bus driver was 30 minutes late. She kept her cool, rearranged our transportation within minutes, and we all arrived on time. They helped with making sure I was on track with planning, and helped coordinate transportation for wedding day through the shuttle service I booked. We also used their rental shed which was super easy as well and helped with the decor that we didn't want to buy ourselves. Above and beyond is an too small of a phrase for Brooke and her team!

Our meetings were also productive and she was brilliant in her observations and collaborations. Brooke personally printed our timelines and handed it to each vendor and bridal party so all the key individuals knew where to be and when. She was able to set up all my decor exactly as I pictured and handled it all with exceptional care. She even helped take it down and re-pack without interrupting us while we were dancing the night away! On our wedding day we had Marissa as our day of coordinator and Brooke made sure she was aware of all of the details that we had talked over throughout the months leading up to our wedding. Marissa was so sweet and went above and beyond on our wedding day. Our DJ ended up showing up 2 hours late and we had to change the whole timeline of our day and Marissa made sure we still were able to fit all of our plans in. She reworked our whole timeline on the spot and communicated with the vendors so that we could enjoy our day as much as possible. She was also our biggest advocate with vendors to ensure our vision still came to life and we got all of our pictures in with the time crunch. When I didn't know which decision to make at times she gave me the honesty I needed if it were her wedding day which gave me so much comfort and peace. I would recommend Brooke and Marissa to anyone that is getting married in Michigan. They truly made our day possible and we could not have done it without them.
