My first experience with Formal Faces was for my friend's wedding. As a bridesmaid, I couldn't have been happier with how my hair was done and I felt like the looks of the whole wedding party really came together. Additionally, I thought it was... great that they came to us, got set up, and did hair and make-up on site.
Flash forward and it was time to choose a vendor for my own wedding. Our venue was the W, and I though it would be very convenient for hair and make-up to be done in the bridal suite. So I asked my friend to remind me the name of her vendor. The whole experience booking Formal Faces from start to finish could not have been smoother. It was very easy to book my date, and while I needed to provide an initial count for hair, make-up, and hair and make-up, I was able to add an additional double near the wedding date without hassle.
My Bridal Image Consultant was Alison Robey, and she was fantastic. As promised, I was contacted a little over a month before the wedding to schedule my trial run. Alison was warm and reassuring throughout the trial and helped create a look that felt natural and comfortable, but glamorous. I was so happy with my trial and that reassured me for the big day.
On my wedding day, Alison and Madi arrived right on schedule and got to work. They welcomed each bridesmaid/MOB/MOG to bring a picture reflecting what they hoped for in their look, and executed each look perfectly. Throughout the morning while they were working Ali and Madi were friendly and warm. They finished right on schedule. Everyone kept saying throughout the rest of the day how happy they were with their hair and make-up; no one felt discontent. And perhaps most importantly, this bride could not have been happier with her hair and make-up!
I recommend Formal Faces highly if you are looking for a flexible, convenient, and professional vendor for your wedding day.
