At first I was very skeptical as I had never booked a dj for anything before. As time got closer, I had my fiancé handling all of the dj things so I was not stressed about it. We filled out a music sheet, which the dj stuck to great. When the dj arrived, it was not Steve (who we had been messaging), but another of his djs. My fiancé and I were a little caught off guard because no one told us so we did not know who he was. Steve had told me that he himself had dj'd at our venue before, but the guy he sent said he himself had not, so I was worried he wouldn't know what to do as our venue was a rural site. I also was worried about my vocalists getting to do a warm up and sound check, so my planner just took the dj and told him where to go. I could not be happier with the way it turned out! The vocalists got to warm up ahead of time, there was a speaker on the ceremony side so you could hear, and he played all of the right songs. He was a little slow on starting the bridal march and the exit song, but it was not that big of a deal to me as it might be to other brides. He kept the reception lively and had everyone dancing. He communicated really well with me during the whole reception. I did not catch his name, but he did a great job! On top of that, you cannot beat the price!

I really wanted to like this DJ. He seemed like a really cool guy. Unfortunately, he arrived about 40 minutes late and was dressed in shorts and a polo as opposed to the suit and tie that was stated in the planning sheet. There was no seating music provided for my guests and he did not do a sound check prior to the ceremony, so the volume was being adjusted while my bridal party was actually walking down the aisle. Also, my bridal march was played incorrectly as two songs were played at once so it was hard to distinguish which song was even being played. There was no dinner music provided since he did not set anything up where we were eating. My music requests detailed on the reception planning sheet were never played. The songs the groom had requested were not played. We were not announced, and he started our first dance song before guests could get to the dance floor to watch, and he had to rewind the track and start over. We requested a particular song to be played after the cake cutting and he started playing it DURING the cutting which I had requested not happen. Finally by the end I just had my bridesmaids continue to request songs to keep the party going. I had an amazing wedding despite the DJ's performance, loved every minute, but if I could change one thing about my day it would have been the DJ service I used.

Five stars does not do Stephen justice-he deserves so many more! We hired him to dj at our wedding and out of all the vendors he was on his A game from the very beginning. He had all the songs that we wanted for our wedding, even the ones that most had never heard of, was very organized, and played until we shut it down-well over his contracted time. He is half the cost of other dj's, but don't let that make you doubt his experience and professionalism, as he went well above and beyond any and all expectations we had. Our family and friends are still talking about the dance, how fun it was, and the fact that it was the best time they have had in years. Stephen, thank you so very much for all you did. We can't say enough amazing things about you! Thank you for making our wedding reception truly unbelievable!!
