From the minute I met Liza, I knew that my flowers at my wedding were going to be amazing. I told her my vision and she completely ran with it! On my wedding day, I immediately cried when I saw my bouquet. I couldn't have dreamed it better and it so far exceeded my expectations. The two girls that came to set up- Christina was one of them- were so kind and actually helped use some leftover flowers from another wedding to make my venue even more beautiful. Christina also made my wedding cake (and it was amazing, let me tell you) and decorated it with flowers that were so beautiful!! I think my flowers were the best wedding flowers ever, which is what every bride wants to say! Definitely hire Fox and Fern and you won't regret it!

Bri is a creative genius! She made small suggestions that would help save us money but not subtract from the elegance. We decided to have an arbor during the ceremony which turned out absolutely breath-taking. My husband and I cannot express enough gratitude and appreciation for everything Bri did for us. She is incredibly amazing!

Bri delivered some truly beautiful flowers. If you're looking for something complex (we had a gorgeous floral chandelier), she is your gal. That being said, I was a bit disappointed with her professionalism: she seemed a bit rude at times and wasn't very easy to reach, and the final product was a bit different from what we had discussed.

We simply loved Bri and her stunning studio in Rochester. The moment you walk in the door, you are met with a wall of antique vases, dried garlands, and perhaps the most relaxed and down to earth florist ever. Bri is truly an artist, and her work speaks for itself. She is upfront that when it comes to priorities between answering emails and playing with flowers, her priority is always flowers. Bri is professional and worthy of your trust. In an industry that is often so uptight with deadlines and expectations, Bri provides a sense of calm which I as a bride desperately needed. If you look at her work, her specialty will stand out immediately; centerpieces and styling. She provided votives, lanterns, and large vases. Along with her creative team, the arbor and tables she styled looked even more incredible than I imagined. Bri also stayed right within budget which I sincerely appreciated and created the most romantic wedding look. My only disappointment was in a missing boutonniere for one of my grandparents and that the floral pieces I purchased for my hair were not as expected, and came in a vase with a large peony and small white buds an hour after my hair stylist had already left. Several of the pictures I posted were very different from this so I was definitely disappointed. We were able to use them to fashion a boutonniere for my grandfather and put a couple in my hair but for the price we paid I would have expected these details be confirmed if there were any question as to our expectation. In addition, I requested some extra florals for our welcome sign and cake that didn't arrive. Though we talked about some of my favorite flowers, they weren't as incorporated into the pieces as I would have liked which definitely could have been a missed communication on my part. Overall we loved the looks she created for our day but had some missed communication that slightly compromised our vision. Would still recommend! But make sure that you are really clear if there is something of great importance in your vision. Though Bri is wonderfully creative, like all artists you have to trust her and if you have a really specific vision let her know and she will make it happen. Would highly recommend her and her team for your big day!

THIS PLACE IS EVERYTHING. Customer service, on point. So classy. Bri is incredibly chill and wonderfully creative. Don't think twice. Also, prices are comparable with other places in town, but the service and look of everything is far superior.

Bri, with Fox and Fern floral was AMAZING!!! She stayed within our budget and our flowers were so beautiful! She was very efficient with set up and knows exactly what to do with everything!!! I would highly recommend Fox and Fern for anyone with floral needs! Thank you again for making my venue the most beautiful, ever!!!

Bri is extremely talented. I went in to our meeting with my wedding colors and wanting sunflowers included. I left the rest up to her and her team and I was absolutely blown away. They did an amazing job and the presentation of everything was just stunning. I would highly recommend to anyone getting married.

I didn't even get a chance to work with Fox & Fern but I'm pretty disappointed in their service. Brianna hasn't responded to an email of mine requesting to reschedule our consultation for over 2.5 weeks, and was pretty rude when I asked to meet with her on a Saturday outside of "wedding season" she still told me she wouldn't have time. I understand it's a busy time of year, but it's busy for everyone in the wedding industry. I can get an instant response from someone in the Twin Cities where there are 10x more weddings. Their work is absolutely beautiful, but customer service is absolutely lacking.

Brianna is the best! We worked with Fox and Fern Floral for the most gorgeous wedding flowers you’ve ever seen. So so glad we chose Brianna, because she made our vision come to life. I only met with Brianna one time because she truly, completely understood my vision, from day one. I trusted her implicitly because her creativity and eye for design are amazing. So nice to have complete trust in your vendor to do what they say they’re going to do and execute with flawless style. She was so easy to work with in the process that it’s one of the best decisions I made. She will definitely work with you on any budget as well. On the day of, Brianna delivered all of the amazing blooms and arrangements and set them up exactly like I had dreamed or wanted, with no direction from me, because she didn’t need it. It made things so easy on me because you don’t need to worry about anything on that day. The flowers were amazing, more than I could have asked for. The unique flowers, stems, and textures she pulls in are so above your average bouquet and elevates the look of everything. The weather was pretty hot that day and the flowers lasted all day, night, and into the next day, still looking beautiful! I still am in awe of how beautiful everything was, and again it was exactly what I wanted and she delivered because she truly “got me” and understood the feeling I wanted to evoke at my wedding. Even with the beautiful outdoor setting I’d chosen for my wedding, those flowers absolutely elevated my entire wedding look and feel onto another level. They really brought that extra something, a feeling, that you can’t quite put your finger on. Everyone there raved about how beautiful everything was. So thank you Brianna for making my dreams come to life!

Seriously, book Brianna and her team. Just do it now and you can thank me later! Not only is she amazing to work with, but her flowers and arrangements are impeccable. She has amazing taste and she also has a lot of extras to use (for instance, I took advantage of her large vases, bud vases, candle holders, cake stand, etc..!!) Brianna is the best!

Bri was fantastic to work with and has an amazing talent for creating the most beautiful floral arrangements I have ever seen! She was spot on in capturing the romantic rustic feel we were going for. She has great ideas and made sure to go over every detail of the wedding with me to ensure we didn't miss a thing. I also really appreciated her understanding and flexibility with the changing of wedding details/timelines as the wedding approached. I would highly recommend Fox & Fern Floral.

PERFECT. That would be the one word to describe the flower arrangements and bouquets for our wedding. Bri did an absolutely amazing job- It was so much better than I even expected!!! I know I'm biased, but our arrangements were the best I have ever seen. It was worth every penny. Working with Bri was great- She is the most creative person I have ever met! :)

Brianna did an AMAZING job with the flowers and decor for our ceremony and reception this June. When we first met with her, she was already full of creative ideas of ways to use the space that we had at our church for the ceremony and at Somerby Golf Club for our reception. Her work with flowers is way above and beyond anything else that I've personally seen from other local vendors...whimsical and natural, yet classy and elegant...she can take things any direction you want to go and still put her own magnificent spin on them. I loved how much thought she put into designing my bridal bouquet, and she worked with me to fix some complicated issues related to linens that resulted in the most beautiful table decor and settings. Love love love her work!

My daughter had her reception at Five Event Center in Minneapolis, and Brianna and her team made it absolutely Magical! From my daughter's bouquet to the décor of the Venue, it was amazing. Lighting, Décor, Floral- all of it! This is not JUST a floral company - it is a DESIGN TEAM! The vision and talent that Brianna has is truly amazing. Challenger her- she can do it all! Brianna made our day perfect. We started by showing her ideas that I liked from other pictures, and she took my ideas and put it into a creations beyond my dreams. The whole time working with Brianna and her team, I never once worried or stressed, she proved to provided a dream come true for our special day. Nothing less than a creative genius.

We chose MDC for our wedding decor and floral. Bri was great to work with! I loved everything she did! I had an idea in my head, and she was able to grasp that and create an amazing Pinterest worthy style for me. She totally nailed it. She is very creative and helpful. I was planning my wedding from another state, she is wiling to meet, responds quick to email, and adjusted some changes up to the week before the wedding. She was there for set up, and also helped set up other decor ideas I had planned with my own stuff. She has good attention to detail and jumped right it. Everything came together perfectly! She was also there at the end of the night ready for clean up.

Brianna knows her stuff! I was a bit back and forth on some of my floral decisions, but after meeting with her and hearing her suggestions I felt back on track. Truly an expert. Despite it being the hottest day of the summer, the flowers on my day were perfect. She worked collaboratively with me, is a true professional, super creative and thrifty and gets the job done right. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends. :-)

Brianna at Modern Designs and Concepts/Fox and Fern Floral went absolutely above and beyond for our wedding!! We started planning with Brianna and her team a year prior to our wedding and the process was fun, easy and organic. We picked out colors, flowers and themes we liked and she came up with amazing suggestions to help our dreams come to life. When an unexpected wind storm caused our venue to be unsafe for our guests, Brianna not only found us a backup venue with an hour and a half to go before our ceremony, but she also worked tirelessly with her team to make our reception happen with zero delay. Her work was flawless and her dedication to her craft showed through as she refused to let us have a less than stellar wedding reception even when it was undoubtedly difficult. We will forever remember her kindness and hard work!! THANK YOU!!!

I am not a recent Bride, but I recommend Brianna & Modern Design & Concepts to every engaged couple I meet in the greater Rochester area. Each year my non-profit plans a fundraiser and Brianna has decorated it, donating her time, with a shoe-string budget for supplies, for the past two years. Our event has grown increasingly successful, and Brianna has been instrumental in helping us achieve our fundraising goal. Whatever theme we choose, Brianna finds a way to make it fantastic and over the top within our non-profit budget. Brianna gives so much to my organization and others in the community - it has been a pleasure to watch her business grow!

Over a year ago, when I was planning my wedding, this advice was given to me, “hire the best, most reliable people, so that all you have to do is experience your wedding.” Getting married on my parents property was a perk, a good caterer, great photographer and most importantly an OUTSTANDING florist / do it all decorator, Fox and Fern. It started with a few meetings, scrolling through pinterest, roaming her warehouse and sharing our love for all things gold and organic. Once I had the feeling Bri knew what I loved, I let her artist wings FLY! And I could not have been more pleased, nay, impressed by the work she put into my special day. She asked if I wanted to see my bouquet – I didn’t, knowing she knew best, and she sure did. I had the perfectly ethereal flower crown and waterfall bouquet. My ‘maids matched brilliantly. Upon walking down the aisle, her craftiness surrounding the arbor, both floral and with glass bulbs was picturesque. The reception was like walking through ‘Fern Gulley’ meets ‘A Secret Garden’ – the theme I didn’t even know I was going for.

Brianna was the best, provided us with many new, insightful ideas that we could've never have thought up without her! She really took a genuine interest in our special day, and followed through in a timely, professional manner. Very happy and thoroughly impressed.

The floral and decor were breathtaking, so much better than I imagined! Brianna has such a creative eye and was able to incorporate things that are special to us. She is so easy to work with and is so committed to making the day extra special, which she absolutely did.

I had seen Brianna's work and knew I wanted her to do my wedding flowers. I sat down with her once, told her the general tone of the wedding and gave her my color and flower do's and dont's and trusted her expertise. Not only was I not disappointed, I was THRILLED. It's hard to compete with floral arrangements in a garden, but she managed to do it and without breaking our budget. AMAZING.

I had a great experience with Modern Design Concepts. I consider myself to be relatively creative, and when my mom mentioned paying someone to do all of our decorations for us, I was a little hesitant. However, our meetings with Brianna were quick and to the point, and I was pleased to say that she already had all of the decorations I would've had to created. She completely understood my vision and taste! I think Modern Design & Concepts is especially complimenting of brides with unique, trendy or modern style visions for their wedding. Ours was a rustic them, and she helped us nail it! We did not purchase our floral bouquets through MDC, but did purchase floral for the decorations. She did in fact work with us on pricing/budgeting, and I found her to be approachable and professional. We did not pay for a 'preview' of her work, but her quotes are very descriptive in what the decorations will look like. We were nervous not knowing the exact details, but on our wedding day they swept in like a magic fairy, decorated the place perfectly, and took care of the take-down immediately afterwards. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the decor she provided, and so thankful that she magnified my vision in her creations. I would definitely recommend everyone meet with Brianna when considering hiring a decorator.

I do not recommend spending time with MDC for your wedding floral. My fiance and I met with Brianna several times in an attempt to figure out what we wanted to do with our floral and stay within budget. Brianna offended my mom with her attitude to the point where my mom didn't want to be involved with her. She told us there were certain flowers she wouldn't work with, and did not have patience with us as we explored our options. She did not work with us to accommodate or budget, but instead, threatened that she had other inquiries for our wedding date and recommended that we see other florists when we asked her if we could get the costs down. We decided we were tired of thinking about the flowers and that we just wanted to check it off the list so we were going to go with MDC & have as little interaction with Brianna as possible. Before we could send our contract, she emailed to say that she had booked our weekend and would not be working with us. Poor business practices and poor customer service. Be careful!!

Unfortunately, we would not recommend Modern Design and Concepts to anyone, because the services we received were anything but professional. We were extremely disappointed in both their quality of work and their conduct. When we expressed concerns about our designs, we felt that our requests were ignored, and we were falsely reassured that everything would turn out as expected. The quality of work that we received was not nearly the same quality of work that is advertised in their photos. We felt very taken advantage of, as we paid them more than a fair price yet have never experience such terrible customer service. It is truly unfortunate that their inadequate work and poor treatment is what we will remember most about our wedding day.

To say the least, I was obsessed with my wedding flowers and center pieces, all done by Modern Design and Concepts. Brianna was an absolute delight to work with and I would recommend her to everyone I know who is getting married. I have no complaints and too many compliments to mention!

Brianna is truly an artist, she did an amazing job with both our flowers and decorating the venue. So creative, all little touches made the picture perfect!
