Our daughter got married at Fox Hollow at the end of March, and we couldnt have been happier. The venue was wonderful and with the hotel next door and the grounds photo-op filled, it made everything so much easier. No worrying about getting to the venue, no busses needed to bus people from the photo location to the venue and on such a stressful day, simplicity was the key. One piece of advice we had gotten from a friend was that there will always be a glitch, so keep that in mind and when it happens just let it go and move forward. However, our friend was so wrong - our daughter's wedding was amazing and joyous and went off without a hitch ! Matt, the Maitre D', the bridal attendants and all of the staff was were wonderful ! The party was run so smoothly, and Matt not only anticipated the needs of the bride and groom, but he and the staff took care of us parents wonderfully. The only "flaw" in the whole evening was my own fault - for dessert we had a chocolate fountain and I was having such an awesome time, I totally missed it :( Today we went to Fox Hollow for the wedding of our friends' son, and Matt was the Maitre D'. We said hello, thanked him for the wonderful work he and his staff did for our wedding, and then asked what the dessert was going to be. When he said the ice cream bar (not the chocolate fountain), I told him about my mistake and how dissapointed I was because I had missed the chocolate fountain at our daughter's wedding. Then, when dessert was being served we were not at our table, but Matt hunted us down with a bowl of the warm yummy chocolate used in the fountain, together with fruit to dip in it and even toothpicks for dipping. WOW !!!! Such thoughtfulness and kindness - I was truly SO BLOWN AWAY (and still am ). I mean, I was only a guest at this wedding, and he still went above and beyond !!! Thank you so much Matt !!! It is that kind of thoughtfulnees and generosity that not only makes you so great at what you do, but makes your clients' important day so amazing !!!!

Just had our wedding there last night and everything was impeccable! Matt and Sofia were a power team and it would not have been as amazing without them. They kept us on track, fed, and ensured the day was so smooth. Fox Hollow was a dream. The food was amazing and the grounds for spring were so beautiful. Our guests were blown away by the food options and service.

We walked into the Somerley room right after we got engaged and instantly fell in love! The room is gorgeous as is and needed minimal decor! We first met with Victoria and then ended with Hilary. From start to finish, emails were answered quickly and they were so helpful throughout the whole process! Samir was our maître D! He is a true cut above the rest! From drop off to walking out of our wedding night he was the calmest, sweetest soul. He calmed my nerves at drop off and all throughout the day of our wedding. His professionalism did not go unnoticed. I felt like we knew him our entire lives! Noelia was our bridal attendant and she is another cut above the rest. She was there with things before I even knew I needed them. The sweetest, kindest soul! We could not have asked for a better more professional team to work with us on one of the biggest days of our lives!

We appreciate you making this a special day for us, and especially want to give a huge shout out to Gennaro, Hilary, Samir, and Noelia -- they all were FANTASTIC and went above and beyond to allow us to make the most of the day despite a rainy forecast. I got married on January 13th 2024 and let me just say the fox hollow went above and beyond what I could have imagined! We had Arthur as our maître de and Sofia as my bridal attendant. I requested Sofia because we instantly bonded! She is the nicest human ever! When I was stressed she was like a friend I’ve known forever and calmed me down! Thank you to the fox for making me feel at home and taking care of my every need. I always had food in front of me and a drink in my hand! Best night of my life!

I had my wedding at Fox Hollow in their Winter Garden room and I had the best experience. My Maitre'd was Samir and my bridal attendant was Noelia. Both were fantastic. Samir made sure every detail did not go missed and he was so nice! My wedding was in December and I was so cold Noelia came out with WARM LINENS to warm me up! Who would do that? I will definitely never forget my experience. She was so sweet and made sure I had water when I was on the dance floor. The service alone was worth what I had paid. Fox Hollow definitely knows what they are doing. I asked my guests after the wedding how everything was and they felt there was so much food and everything was wonderful. The only call out was that some of the station servers during cocktail hour were very slow. There were some long lines of people waiting to get their food. Other than that I had a wonderful time and really would recommend them to any person wanting to get married at the Fox Hollow.

We booked it for my daughter's wedding, beautifully place..unfortunately they broke up.. so there is no wedding. The problem i'm having and I do advice not to pay anything upfront. They give you a plan to pay, so I made 2 payments upfront before the deadlines and now I want those payments back and they refuse... I know what the contract says and i have no issues loosing the downpayment and the other payments but not the payments i MADE before it was due.$5400 is a lot of money. all together is $11900.00 not fair. they have a exceptions on there website really" i spoke with Michael and he said the exception is death WOW" death. that's kind of obvious. I'm going viral because it's not fair.$5400 all i wanted. Michael is the Manager and he said that if i get money back they wanted me to sign a waiver which i would loose the rest of the money if they rented the place. These people care only about money yet they don't show that when you sign the contract...I am going to take this to the next level. small claims court which i should at least get $5K and every other place form. I was looking to get what was mine, not more.

Had the absolute best experience having my wedding at The Fox Hollow Somerley room. Everyone I spoke with was quick to respond, honest, helpful and professional. Bruce helped us book, Victoria and Hilary helped with the details, Matthew was an amazing Matre D made sure the day went smoothly and Glenda our bridal attendant made sure we had everything we needed all day. I did all the planning myself and Fox Hollow made it so stress-free. The food was amazing and never-ending. We had a December wedding and the decor was so beautiful and elegant. The Somerley room is SO beautiful. If you are thinking of booking your wedding there, DO IT!

Had a seamless wedding day, couldn’t have asked for better! Beautiful grounds and reception room (Wintergarden) and logistics went very smoothly. Our maitre d was Arthur and my bridal attendant was Angie. Arthur made us feel confident and comfortable, ensuring us that our day would be perfect. You can’t plan for everything… during photos before the ceremony, something green fell from one of the trees onto my dress!! Angie came to the rescue, and got the stain out! The food was incredible and our guests haven’t stopped talking about it. Fox Hollow did an excellent job coordinating with our vendors. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. I should also mention we live out of town, and planned our entire wedding from a distance. They were very easy to work with and accommodated us as necessary.

This was a venue I was interested even before I was engaged. It was the first thing we confirmed and I'm so glad we did. The staff was incredibly helpful, and my menu was very much customized to meet dietary restrictions for me and my guests. The amenities are incredible -- bridal suites, hotel on the same ground, beautiful grounds, etc. No regrets -- just wish I could relive the day!

We had an incredible experience with the fox hollow all throughout our planning process. They boast about their weddings and it was easy to see why! Hilary was so quick to respond to all of our questions. Our Maitre d was Tommy and he was so great and kept us on schedule and had our event running smoothly. Our bridal attendant was Glenda. She was soo helpful, she even pinned up my dress for me more so I wouldn't trip on it during our first dance. The staff made sure we and our bridal party had drinks and food throughout pictures and the rest of the day. Our guests raved about the food, the beauty of the venue and how smoothly the whole day ran. We were so happy with the venue, would highly recommend. The hotel experience was also great, we had to add rooms even after the deadline for our block and the staff helped us to do that. The hotel rooms were really nice and many guests were able to check into them early on the wedding day which was so helpful. My only complaint is that housekeeping came to my room after we got ready there, and only took the towels but did not replace them and they didnt make the bed or do anything else. Other than that- the hotel was great. The free breakfast was pretty good for hotel breakfast also.

We recently (July 29, 2023) had our wedding at the Fox Hollow in the Somerly room and it all turned out beautiful. Our guests had a great time and especially enjoyed the food. I understand from other reviews that both the Maitre D and bridal attendant are an integral part of the wedding day running smoothly. While I appreciated having them, this review in particular is about Matt the Maitre D. Matt was helpful in terms of doing his job, which is bare minimum. However, he was consistently RUDE to my DJ and MC, he was also rude to my bridal party and we got several complaints about him and how difficult he was to work with from both our DJ and MC. Matt literally yelled at the bridal party during the lineup to walk into the reception area and was overall very short with people. He was not particularly a warm person and overall wasn’t well liked. At one point he approached me during the reception about switching into my second wedding dress portion of the evening, my husband is Nigerian American and so we were having some parts of the wedding dedicated to some of those Nigerian traditions. Matt out of nowhere proceeded to say to me that he is a “white man” and doesn’t understand those traditions. Overall I feel it was UNFORTUNATE to have been assigned to Matt as our Maitre D, and it’s too bad because we loved James, who helped book us into the fox hollow and won us over back when we were shopping around for venues. James was also super helpful on the day of the wedding and he was hands on and helpful to the groom party and even helped them with putting on their corsages! He got them water and drinks and provided them with information with what to expect as far as walking down the aisle, etc. Overall, Fox Hollow is a beautiful place to get married and I especially enjoyed my stay at the fox hollow inn the night before the wedding. Both James and Hilary were extremely helpful to us throughout the months leading up to the wedding. Unfortunately Matt the Maitre D was the only negative aspect about the otherwise beautiful wedding. We did all communication from the west coast and I was happy with how accessible Hilary and James were whenever we had questions.

Fox Hollow made our wedding day perfect! Samir was our Maitre'D and he was so accomodating! People raved about our cocktail hour and the food in general!

My husband and I just got married and had our ceremony and reception at the Fox Hollow! We loved the venue, the food, but most importantly, we couldn’t have been happier with the customer service we received! We initially met and spoke with Gennaro who is informative, professional, and ultimately we loved our wedding package and booked through him. Noelia was my bridal attendant and holy moly this woman is incredible!!! I honestly feel bridal attendants need to be given more credit and recognized more because they do sooo much!! She was friendly, professional, punctual, and kept me informed throughout the day and night of what was to come next. She adjusted my dress, held it when walking through the grounds, bustled it before reception, and helped keep me calm right before the ceremony, plus so much more! I can’t thank Noelia enough for all her help my wedding day!! Samir was our Maitre D-he and his team were fantastic! Great communication, everything ran smoothly, couldn’t have asked for anything better! Thank you all!

After booking our March 2023 wedding at the Fox Hollow (Garden Terrace room), we were confident the day was going to be amazing. The team was kind, helpful, and accommodating throughout the entire process. Fast forward to wedding day... and all of our expectations were exceeded. Our Maitre d', Matt, was incredible! He kept us calm, in the loop, and had all operations running like a well oiled machine. Not to mention he was funny, approachable, respectful, and came to my rescue when my dress strap broke! Our bridal attendant, Katira, was equally as incredible. She was by our side (holding my dress and bouquet!!) throughout photos (even bringing out a warm cloth as it got chilly!), brought us food for our own private moment before heading into cocktail hour, checked in on us constantly throughout the night, and made sure we were taken care of. Matt and Katira are superstars and we cannot thank them enough!!! Many venues in the area persuade couples by pushing "one wedding per day" set-ups... this is not needed at the Fox. Fox Hollow ensures that every single wedding has their own arrival times, photo times, and a dedicated staff to cater to any and every need. I truly felt like the only bride in the world, let alone one of a few weddings that day! From cocktail hour, to the reception, to our after party, - the food was AMAZING. Our guests are still raving about their meals and overall experience on our special day. I would choose Fox Hollow over and over and recommend to any couple looking for their perfect wedding location. The value of what you receive in your package is high and the experience of the staff is second to none.

We got married here November 2022 and everything and everyone there was absolutely phenomenal! We couldn’t recommend Ashley or Josh more for your bridal attendant and maitre’d. We have had guests tell us how they loved the food and the outdoor terraces as well. The Garden Terrace room was what we decided on and the staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect for our big day.

Everything about our wedding at the Fox Hollow was amazing! From the beginning everyone at the Fox Hollow was organized, helpful, and responsive. I was impressed throughout the whole process how thorough they were, and they made sure we had every detail figured out. We were even told by wedding planners that we didn’t need a day of coordinator, because of how well the Fox Hollow runs things, and this advice was completely correct. On the day of the wedding, everything ran perfectly because of Carlos and Sofia. They made us feel taken care of the entire night and kept us updated on all of the plans throughout the evening. We truly owe how amazing our wedding was to them! The food was also amazing - this was something that was very important to us, and we were so happy to hear our guests rave about how great the food was. We highly recommend that others host their weddings at the Fox Hollow!

My husband and I needed to plan our wedding in three months before moving out of state. We struggled to find a venue that would host our 30 person wedding especially on such short notice. When we called, we were told that the wedding could be hosted through their restaurant, The Volpe. After meeting with the restaurant manager Nicole, we were able tour the possible event rooms, choose a date, and get a price estimate. She was constantly working with us, trying to get us to have the best wedding we could, regardless of circumstance. Nicole went above and beyond for us, coordinating our entire wedding start to finish while managing The Volpe. She had helped us pick out all of our vendors, including our DJ, officiant, photographer, and florist--the latter was set up just over a week before the wedding. The event itself was flawless, and special accommodations were instantly made when necessary or asked. Nicole was always professional, charismatic, quick on her feet, and extremely kind. We were able to fully enjoy our wedding day without stress thanks to the wonderful staff at the Fox Hollow.

We were in the Garden Terrace room. Everything was spectacular!!!! Service, food, decor was AMAZING!!!! Wouldn’t change a thing!

My husband and I were able to have a “small” dinner at the Fox Hollow in August of 2020, and a full first anniversary reception there in August of 2021 as well. From the beginning of the planning process to the roller coaster of Covid changes, the Fox Hollow was very easy to work with and extremely helpful. Gennaro and Hilary helped plan the dinner in 2020 and Hilary helped coordinate the 2021 reception. We wanted the small dinner in 2020 to feel different than a full reception, but still celebratory, and the Fox Hollow was so good about helping us make changes. In 2020, we held our dinner in the smaller, but gorgeous Winter Garden room. We did our first dance together, but everyone watched from their tables and no one joined in. We did not do toasts. We had grandparent dances instead of parent dances, because we were both concerned that our grandparents, who are all in their 80s or 90s, might not be there to celebrate with us in 2021 (though, thankfully, our grandparents are alive and well)! We took pictures of cutting the cake for the photographer, but didn’t do the whole cake cutting ritual. We didn’t have a band in 2020, so instead, we plugged my MOH’s phone into the sound system there and played a Spotify playlist that my husband and I curated. We asked that drinks be served to the tables. The bar was open, still, but it definitely eliminated the need for a line at the bar and prevented clustering at a time when Covid was more of a concern. They also went above and beyond service-wise. (For instance, my husband wanted a white Russian, and the bartender ran over to the hotel to get milk.) In 2021, the Fox Hollow was excellent about coordinating vendors, answering my multitude of questions, and making sure that the big party went smoothly. We were in the Garden Terrace room, which could accommodate our bigger guest list. Cocktail hour food, dinner food, and everything edible there was amazing. Dropping off memory table pictures, favors, seating cards, etc. was so easy. Hilary worked with us to help plan and coordinate things every step of the way, even my husband’s somewhat complicated request for a video montage to play. The timeline went smoothly, but SO QUICKLY, with parent dances, our first dance again, the cake cutting, bouquet toss, and garter toss.

I couldn’t be happier with our venue choice. Our experience with Fox Hollow has been nothing short of amazing. It was the first venue we looked at and we couldn’t get it off our minds until we finally decided to commit to this venue. Everything about Fox Hollow is incredible. Everyone was so easy to work with and they made sure everything was absolutely perfect. We got married in the Winter Garden Room. It was absolutely beautiful. Our guests are still talking about the atmosphere and how much they loved the space. It was like a dream! The staff at Fox Hollow was amazing as well. We had Carlos as our Maitre’d and Noelina and Natalia as our Bridal Attendants. They were AMAZING!! They allowed us to enjoy our night and kept our schedule to absolute perfection. They always made sure we were good with drinks, food and anything else we needed. They made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything about Fox Hollow made our wedding day absolutely unforgettable and we are so excited to go back every year to Volpe (the restaurant on the property) to celebrate!! Highly, highly, highly recommend Fox Hollow. In my opinion, there’s nothing else like it!

I got married at Fox in the Winter Garden room on 1/8/2022. My maître d was Josh who was THEEE best. He was sweet, calm and supportive both the days leading up to the wedding and the day of. We were so grateful to have someone so dedicated and detail oriented running our wedding. I cannot say enough great things about him. My bridal attendant, Sophia, was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She was by my side the entire night to refresh a drink, re-tie my bustle, and help with anything I needed. Sophia was literally there at every moment to assist. I truly don't know what I would have done without her. If you can, I WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend requesting her as your bridal attendant. Josh and Sophia were 10 steps ahead of me the entire day. Both made sure my husband and I were taken care of and happy above all else. I had multiple boxes of decorations with long lists of instructions and they followed them to a T. They even packed it all up at the end of the night and walked me back to the hotel, wheeling all of the boxes of décor for me, at 2am! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we are so grateful for the entire team who helped make our day as incredible as it was.

From start to finish, Fox Hollow was an absolute dream to work with! We were in the beautiful Garden Terrace room which was the perfect space for our reception of about 200 people. But the staff is really why Fox Hollow stood out more than any other venue. A lot of weddings are hosted there every week, but I never felt like just another wedding. The planning team were always available to answer any and all questions in a timely manner, provided recommendations where necessary, making the planning process so much less stressful. The real stars of our day were Matt, our Maître D, and Anna, our bridal attendant. Both made sure we were taken care of and happy above all else. Matt ensured our reception went exactly how we wanted it to, and that everything was in order. Anna was amazing at making sure we ate, stayed hydrated, and took care of anything else we needed. She even fixed my dress strap when it broke in the beginning of the night! They adapted to the party as it went on, which made everything flow so smoothly. I really can't say enough great things about Fox Hollow and highly recommend them to everyone!

Overall, our wedding day was amazing. I will start with the positives, as there are far more of them: We held our wedding at the Fox Hollow in their Winter Garden room on 12/4/21, and it was just beautiful. We decorated the room to reflect our own style as a couple (Replaced their usual chuppah with a modern wedding arch, brought in bistro lights to hang from the ceiling, and filled the room with candlelight) and were so happy with how it turned out! There was so much food, with ample choices for our guests, beyond the chicken, steak and fish that you usually find on a wedding menu. The quality of the food is great, and the all-inclusive experience was very much appreciated, with catering, open bar, a wedding cake, two bridal attendants, valet parking, coat check, a bridal suite and a complimentary hotel room for us included. My bridal attendant, Rose, was wonderful and very enthusiastic about helping us with whatever she could. She even turned down the temperature in the room when she saw I was a bit too warm. That said, if there is anything we would have liked to be better about our experience with the Fox Hollow, it was the rest of the staff. Leading up to the big day, it was relatively difficult to get a hold of the right people on the phone when we needed them. Also, my mother told us there was a server in the reception that behaved rudely with her throughout the evening. I, myself noticed that my bridal attendant had to double as a waitress during the reception, which I’m not sure is normal or not, but I felt it made her unavailable to perform her duties to us as the couple. Finally, it felt to me that the staff (or at least our Maitre D), had issues with some of the vendors we hired outside of their recommended catalogue. Our florist called me to say that Fox Hollow wasn't letting him in to drop off our flowers in the suite before we showed up. In addition, there was a battle of authority between our Maitre D and our photographers, as the Maitre D was trying to tell us where and when to take our photos. Our photographer actually needed to assert herself and put them in their place, which we were appreciative of. If you’re going to book a wedding here, there is a lot to love, but please be aware that they probably expect you to hire vendors off of their recommended list.

If you truly want a seamless and special day, Fox Hollow knows how to make that possible. Bruce was amazing during the initial inquiry and solidifying our decision to choose the Fox Hollow. We booked during the pandemic without even seeing the venue that’s how confident Bruce made us feel! You absolutely do not have to worry about a thing. Their attention to detail is impeccable. Josh our Maitre D and Anna our Bridal Attendant were amazing. They went above and beyond by not only ensuring our day was special but taking care of our parents throughout the evening. From the setting and decorations at the venue to the food, we could not have been happier. Looking back we honestly would not have changed a thing. This level of service and professionalism was complimented tremendously by each of our guests most of who were from out of town and could not believe the beauty of the wedding. We cannot thank Fox Hollow enough for an amazing day.

Fox Hollow was a dream come true! Would definitely recommend them, there was just one minor thing that knocked them from a 5 star to a 4 star. We paid for a lot of upgraded cocktail stations, but unfortunately, Fox Hollow placed a lot of them outside and the guests were entirely unaware that they were out there for our wedding. So, no one got to experience them, and it felt like a big waste of $ and was just disappointing because I wanted guests to see all everything. Also, my bridal attendant didn't do much, but honestly, I think that was because I didn't need much. Otherwise, everything was excellent - service 10/10, food 10/10, everything 10/10. I also stayed at the Inn (and had around 40 guest rooms) and had an amazing experience there!!

I'm so happy we went with the Fox Hollow for our wedding. Samir and Rose were so lovely to work with. They made sure my husband and I and our parents were happy all night long. The food was incredible, the room was beautiful, and everyone was so friendly. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and The Fox Hollow had a large part in that! Thank you so much for everything! We'll be coming back for the Trofie with Truffle Oil pasta.

Not a wedding but my daughters Bat Mitzvah. I would absolutely book a wedding here in a heartbeat! We had my daughters Bat Mitzvah this past weekend in the Somerley Room with Matt as our Maitre D. To say everything was perfect would be an understatement. From initial booking to walking out the door at the end of the night, Fox Hollow went above and beyond and exceeded every expectation we had. Thanks to Matt we were able to be guests at our own party, I didn’t have a worry in the world. The food was delicious and plentiful and everyone walked out smiling and full of compliments. Thank you Fox Hollow and Matt for turning my daughters vision into a reality. She truly had the best day ever.

Our wedding at The Fox Hollow was everything we dreamed it would be! The whole day from start to finish went by so smoothly thanks to Maitr'D Matt and Bridal Attendant Rose! They were both so accommodating, attentive and professional! The lobby area & Somerley room were decorated better than we could have imagined! Having the Inn located right next door was priceless as it allowed our guests to conveniently move between their rooms and venue, and enabled them to really enjoy themselves at the reception! Our private brunch at the Inn the following morning was exactly what we wanted! Our wedding and its related events were just perfect!

Our wedding at Fox Hollow was the most perfect day! Bruce was very straight forward and easy to work with when booking and Hilary the coordinator was so accommodating. Both responded to any questions I had leading up to our event. Our Maitre D Angie took care of everything and made sure I was completely satisfied the entire time and any hiccups were taken care of quickly and without issue. Angie my bridal attendant was amazing, was by my side to refresh a drink or reapply my lipstick or change my shoes. The food was not only delicious but also displayed so elegantly (10 entree options for every guest!!). The hospitality and service you will receive here is unmatched, we felt so taken care of. I’m so glad we picked this beautiful venue for our special day!

We are so glad that we chose Fox Hollow as our venue. They were extremely accommodating throughout the pandemic. The ground are beautiful for pictures and the food was amazing. Our guests are still raving about cocktail hour. Our maitre d Matt was amazing and helped keep everything running smoothly The bridal attendant Sophia was sweet but not always there to help.

Came in and interacted with Bruce. I made a deposit of $1,400 for the venue when only $1,000 required. Some things changed and was not able to fully continue. Bruce stated that my deposit cannot be return in full. He also said that he will deduct $500 for the work he’s done. That left me with a $900 return. Mind you: only $1,000 deposit was needed. To date, Fox Hollow took my hard earn money and refuse to give me back my $900. All of that happened during the peak of COVID-19. I have been emailing Bruce and he has been giving me the run around... These guys are thieves and a disappointment...

I had my wedding at the Fox Hollow in the Winter Garden room on 4/23/21. We booked before COVID, and we fell in love immediately with this venue, as there is truly nothing like this one on Long Island. Planning the details closer to the date with Hilary, the event coordinator, was a smooth ride. She answered all of our questions and kept us up to to date to the best of her ability during all of the unprecedented circumstances of the pandemic. Fast forward to the week of the wedding, Samir, our maitre d truly went above and beyond for us. I always heard great things about Samir, but I will never be able to put into words just how incredible he is. His passion and attention to detail is truly unmatched. He and my wonderful bridal attendant, Noelia, were 10 steps ahead of me the entire day. My veil blew off into a pond and without me even knowing, they had it dried and fixed for me within 15 minutes. They handle every "hiccup" with the most unbelievable calm, relaxed manner, with a smile on their face the whole time. Any request I had was not a problem and the Samir/Noelia duo never made me feel like I was a burden for anything I needed that day. I truly believe I owe my perfect wedding day to them and I am so grateful I chose the Fox Hollow for my big day. Thank you Samir & Noelia!!!

We booked Fox Hollow because of the convenience of having the venue and the hotel literally right next door. And while that was awesome it turned out that the best part of the Fox Hollow was the people. From David who we met, and booked with two years ago, to Hilary who walked us through all the steps leading up to our big day. And on our day we couldn't have asked for better people then Josh our maître d, and Ashley my bridal attendant. They knew our needs before we knew we needed them and made us feel like it was our day. We cannot recommend them enough. If you have your wedding here ask for them and you won't be disappointed.

Samir was simply put, AMAZING! not only is he amazing at what he does but he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He has a handle on every detail and not one thing was out of place. And honestly if it was I wouldn’t have worried about it because he would have taken care of it. If you get Samir as your Matre de do not worry about a thing, your day will run smoothly. I had Nohelia as my bridal attendant and she was the absolute sweetest and was literally there every time I needed her. We would walk out the doors and she had a drink for both of us. She took my shoes of and would tie my sneakers when they got loose, somehow she just knew I needed her when I did. Anything I needed she had it in her pocket or got it in a flash. At the end of the night while at the after party they packed up all of our things and at the end of the party she walked it over with us to the hotel and unpacked everything in our room and went over everything that they packed up. We didn’t have to lift a finger. And after a night of partying, well, that’s the last thing you want to do. Nothing but great things to say about them and just great vibes overall. 10/10 would recommend

The Fox Hollow was BEYOND amazing, especially during the pandemic. The entire team at the hotel and the catering hall were amazing. From June until our October wedding, we called every 2 weeks religiously to find out about the newest restrictions/news regarding our wedding. The team always returned our calls, answered our questions and remained transparent. It was such a difficult time, yet everyone we spoke to made us feel like they were doing the best they could in understanding and helping make this day as amazing as possible. Hillari, Sameer, David, Matthew and Samantha were the dream team in making our wedding weekend absolutely amazing. I cannot thank you all enough!

My wedding was in March, right before the shutdown. It's taken me a while to write this because I hate giving bad reviews and have been putting this off. I want to start off by saying that our guests had a great time, and the wait staff and my bridal attendant were WONDERFUL. That being said, as a bride my experience here was AWFUL from pretty much start to finish. The whole experience was full of unnecessary stress and anxiety. To name a few things: our wedding coordinator acted like I was bothering her the few times I reached out with questions and when we met with her in person, the roof of the reception room was leaking the morning of my wedding and I had to personally keep going back to the venue to check if it was fixed and safe for my guests, and the maitre'd called me while I was getting dressed to go over my seating arrangements (he had multiple copies) and said it needed to be done right at that moment which made me late to our photos. I'm so grateful that my guests had a great time, but I had such a difficult experience from start to finish.

Everything was beyond amazing! No complaints at all!

We got married at the Fox Hollow in December and everything was absolutely perfect! My fiancé and I live outside of NY so originally thought planning an entire wedding from a distance could be challenging, but the Fox Hollow was so helpful throughout the process and made it so easy for us and my parents (who are local). The day of was absolutely incredible... from the look of the venue, to the food, to the staff... we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Kiersten, our bridal attendant, was SO attentive and made sure we were having a great time throughout the whole night. Our guests are still talking about what an incredible wedding we had, saying things like “I’m not just saying this because I’m your friend, but this was the best wedding I’ve been to”. I had complete confidence in the venue from our experience throughout the planning process but that was only validated further throughout the reception. Everything ran so smoothly. I said it before but I’ll say it again, people were raving about the food... especially the cocktail hour! We had a lot of people traveling in from New England so it was also great to have the hotel right next store. We had 50 rooms blocked and it was amazing to be able to have everyone at the hotel bar before and after the reception. It really made for a great experience all around! The Fox Hollow just gets it when it comes to weddings... I would recommend to anyone!!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We were in the Winter Garden room, which is such a gorgeous room, with Samir as our maitre'd and Rose as bridal attendant. They both constantly checked in and made sure everything ran smoothly and we were 100% happy during every second. My experience with the Fox Hollow was great, no issues whatsoever, and I would not change a single thing about my wedding day!

I cannot praise The Fox Hollow enough for creating the perfect atmosphere for our wedding day! After attending five weddings there we trusted that our special day at The Fox Hollow would be a memorable occasion. People are still praising the food and the beauty of The Winter Garden. The staff was out of this world! I am so gracious to Matt and Kirsten, our matrie’d and bridal attendant. They made sure we had everything we needed and that the evening went smoothly. I am so beyond grateful for everything that the Fox Hollow does. They made the planning process so much easier and I refer them to everyone for their events. Listening to other brides planning their weddings I would always point out how much easier things were with the Fox. This venue will hold a very special place in my heart forever.

I can’t say enough about this venue. I had my wedding on 9/19/19. Josh was my maitre d’ and Nichoil (sorry if spelling of her name is incorrect) was my bridal attendant. They were both amazing. Down to every detail making sure things ran smoothly and that we stayed on schedule. The day was perfect. The guests said that this was hands down the best wedding they attended. Food was amazing. Drinks never ending and the overall venue was just gorgeous. I couldn’t have been happier. Thank you so much for making our day everything we expected it to be!!

The Fox Hollow provided a seamless, magical event for our wedding last month. We, originally from NY, were doing the majority of our wedding planning from out of state, and Jessica really worked with us despite the long distance. The day of, we didn't have to worry about ANYTHING! Our Maitre D, Arthur, was amazing making sure everyone was where they needed to be. I cannot sing higher praises for our Bridal Attendant, Rosa, though. She was so organized and made sure my husband, myself, and our families had everything they needed throughout the night. She even helped wheel all of our decorations and leftover cake back to our room...at 2:00am!?!? We cannot thank you enough for this memorable night that we are sure to remember forever!

It's been one week since we got married and I just have to say, The Fox Hollow, hands down, was the best decision we made to have them host our wedding. We booked this venue over a year ago. It was the first venue we visited and we knew this is what we wanted. Bruce, the sales manager, was amazing. He walked us through all of our choices. The operations manager, Jessica, was extremely friendly and helpful. Rose, the bridal attendant, held my dress, covered me up when it was time to eat and was always by my side. She made sure my dress looked great for pictures by always setting it up for the photographer. But through everyone that we dealt with, our maitre d, Arthur, was the best person we could have asked for. Arthur was extremely detail oriented, made sure our bridal party know what they were doing (ceremony/reception entrances), kept everyone on schedule and ensured that my husband and I had the time of our lives. If anyone books this venue, I would ask to request Arthur. We cannot get over how special he made our day. Our flower girl was only 2, she was crying, Arthur asked - What will make her stop crying, the father said crackers - Arthur got her crackers! This is the type of person Arthur is. Nice, attentive and understandable. You can tell that he is passionate about his job and this is why we had the time of our lives! To this day, we cannot stop talking about how amazing Arthur was. At the end of the night, when it was just my husband and I, Arthur took one last photo on our cell phones and asked if we were okay before we left for the night. Arthur and Rose escorted us to the hotel and ensured we were okay. The guests could not stop raving about the food (which I did get to eat, yum!). Everyone had the time of their lives and I would not change one thing about our special day. Thank you to the Fox Hollow staff for everything that you did! For any future bride and grooms looking to book, I would highly recommend The Fox Hollow. P.S - The Inn at the Fox Hollow was also great. Guests loved staying right next door. It was convenient. If you do book, I would recommend doing your room blocks as soon as possible. They do sell out quickly. Other than that, I hope, if you took the time to read through this review, that you do choose The Fox Hollow. You will not be disappointed and ask for Arthur!!!!

Fox hollow is AMAZING. They seriously know how to run a wedding. We got married in the Somerley and I still have people commenting on how beautiful the room is. My maître d (Arthur) was amazing and ran the night so smoothly. I’m a control freak and have OCD – when I met Arthur he put me so at ease. He could definitely tell I was crazy and literally said to me, “anything you tell me what you want to happen will happen.” He wasn’t lying. He was so on the ball. If there were any issues during the night I had absolutely no idea. My bridal attendant, Kirsten, was great too. She was helpful all night and always there when I needed her. I’d 100% recommend Fox Hollow.

The venue makes the wedding and we are so happy that we made the right choice in using the Fox Hollow for ours. After seeing other venues, nothing came close to comparing to the Fox Hollow, especially considering what they gave you and for the price. The outdoor ceremony venue was everything we could’ve wanted. With a night wedding, they had it all lit up so nicely and elegantly with flowers all around that they provide and not to mention the waterfalls all around. It was the perfect setting to get married at. Cocktail hour, we had so many great stations to choose from along with a beautiful ice sculpture that we got to choose as part of the package (we made it the Brooklyn Bridge which they were perfectly fine doing). The food options at the reception were even better. Most places only allow you to have 4 to 5 options at the most on a menu. They give everyone 9 menu options and they are all top notch ranging from filet steak to salmon to duck to a vegan meal. They also not only provide the cake as part of the package through a local bakery but also a dessert and an exit station with pretzels, cookies, iced tea and lemonade to go. Everyone was raving about the food and drinks all night. They were also very accommodating for our guests and bride who had all different allergies from dairy allergies to being vegan to gluten allergies to nut allergies to soy allergies. They made sure everyone had something to eat at all meals which was so important to us and really made the night. The staff really makes the night and the whole experience that much better as well. From the start with the sale manager Bruce helping us out a year in advance, they were there with us every step and wanted to make sure everything goes smoothly during the rest of the process. The matradee Matt was very organized and friendly, making sure everything went according to plan and keeping us up to date about everything going on to make sure we were good. The bridal attendant Dorothy was amazing as well, making sure that from the moment we started pictures to the time we got back to our hotel room next door that we had drinks to stay hydrated, food whether it was before the ceremony, during cocktail hour or at the reception, making sure we had all of our stuff that we brought and even just making sure the bride didn’t trip on her veil. We could go on and on about how beautiful the rooms are and how you even get an amazing room at the Inn at Fox Hollow right next door. Simply put, our wedding went beyond our expectations and we are so thankful that we chose the Fox Hollow! We would highly recommend it to anyone for their wedding!

We are really happy we chose to get married at Fox Hollow. We fell in love with the Winter Garden room based on online photos. We went to see it (it was the only venue we visited) and practically booked on the spot. We had our ceremony there as well and their outdoor ceremony space was exactly how we pictured our wedding. Intimate and romantic. It was perfect. The real stars of Fox Hollow is the operations team. They are really INCREDIBLE. A month or so leading up to the wedding, our main point person was Joshua. He was so responsive and went above and beyond to answer our questions about how the day of was going to go and helping us figure out the table configurations. He set up the room for us in multiple ways weeks before the wedding (via diagrams and physically setting up the room and sending us photos) to help us maximize the space based on our guests’ needs. Thanks to him we were able to seat a large group of friends at one table instead of separating them into two. Day of, our Matrid was Samir. We met with him the Monday before our wedding and he was also amazing. We’d had a lot of signs and specific instructions for special desserts for an anniversary & birthday. Somehow Samir remembered every detail. I was sure something would go undone but truly Samir made us feel so comfortable and confident. He was so passionate and invested in our day and made sure every detail and moment of our wedding happened the way we envisioned it. He was sweet, calm and supportive both the days leading up to the wedding and the day of. We were so grateful to have someone so dedicated and detail oriented running our wedding. We had Kristen (or Kirsten??) as our bridal attendant who was also INCREDIBLE - sweet, supportive, calm, and on top of anything and everything. She asked us always at the exact right moments if we needed anything and brought it right to us -anything we needed from drinks, to TUMS, to a comb for my bangs that kept falling in my face, she ran to the next door hotel to get my bridesmaids who thought the “bridal suite” meant the hotel suite, she helped one of my bridesmaids get a huge stain of champagne that spilled on her dress out just before the ceremony rehearsal. She was incredible. You will definitely be in good hands the day of your wedding with the Fox Hollow operations team. Some other things: great food, next door hotel to stay in/get ready/host after party at hotel bar - we had to pay a fee to extend the hours a bit for this since our wedding ended at 1am. They do do more than one wedding at a time and a morning/afternoon event and evening event but we never saw another bride/groom in our time there. You’ll be in good hands. We definitely were.

A+++++, 11/10!!! Fox Hollow was flawless and one of the easiest vendors I had. They took care of everything and allowed me to make multiple changes from the room layout, to the bar placement, to the outdoor cocktail hour. I had Samir as my maître- D and Megan as my bridal attendant and I cannot recommend either one of them enough!!! They were so attentive and doting and made sure everything was perfect. I had multiple boxes of decorations with long lists of instructions and they followed them to a T. The food was excellent and the timing of the night was absolutely perfect. The gardens were gorgeous and the timing of the night was flawless. Fox Hollow truly knows what they're doing and made sure that everything went smoothly. I was worried because 3 weddings go on at once and I did not see any other bride nor any of their wedding guests; you would have never known there were other weddings going on!! Thank you to Fox Hollow, and Samir and Megan for an amazing night!!

My husband and I got married in the Garden Terrace room, our day was beyond perfect. Our Maitre D was Matt and EVERY BRIDE needs to request him, I can't write enough amazing things about him. If anything went wrong we never knew about it. The food was absolutely amazing, people won't stop raving about it, and there was A LOT of food. The gardens were beautiful and I highly recommend going outside when its dark for pictures by the gate. Rose was our bridal attendant and she was also amazing, always holding my dress and making sure I was well hydrated while taking pictures in the humidity outside.

The Winter Garden Pavilion at the Fox Hollow was everything we could’ve wanted and more. From the accommodating waitstaff and thorough Maitre’D to the overall look and polish, we received SO many great compliments on our choice of venue. The food was ample and delicious (not that we could taste much given how much fun we were having) and the fireplace, ceiling, and lighting made it as perfect as can be. Our wedding was in late April, and while we wanted to have the ceremony outside, the venue was more than accommodating with our late decision to bring all of the chairs inside and it was still done BEAUTIFULLY. While our guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, the staff at the Fox Hollow tore down the ceremony pieces and had the reception tables up so quick that we were able to sneak away into the reception room to get a practice dance in, along with our photographer and videographer. We fell in love with the Fox and so did our guests.

This was the first and only venue we looked at for our wedding. From our first meeting with Bruce to the day of the event, there was not a thing that went wrong. Our initial meeting showed us that this was the place to go. We planned our wedding in the Winter Garden Pavilion so we could have the feeling of being outdoor with the comfort of weather and temperature control. Our cocktail hour was in the Volpe restaurant. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the staff set everything up exactly as planned. Their pricing was amazing compared to other locations and the food and menu were spectacular. Our guests were talking about our wedding weeks after. Our bridal attendant Renne was spectacular and literally there at every moment to assist. Angie was our maitre d' and she had everything running so smoothly we didn't see it happening. She even blotted the perspiration from my husband's forehead before a picture. This was a spectacular team of people to work with and we couldn't have been happier. Thanks for making our wedding day run smooth, easily and perfect all around!

First off let me start off by saying that I have NEVER left a review for anything in my life. We had our reception here on Friday 5/3/19 and I cannot even begin to explain how AMAZING everything was. We had the most perfect day not one single thing went wrong. Up until the day of the wedding Jessica the event coordinator was always available to answer every single one of my questions ( and I had plenty) Our maidre d Arthur was INCREDIBLE. So attentive and knows how to get things done!!! Anna the bridal attendant was THEE BEST. We arrived at the fox hollow a little bit early and everyone was so accommodating. She continuously brought us drinks and hors d’oeuvres. All night long she was my wing women asking me what I need, fixing my dress, holding my bouquet, getting me WHATEVER I needed and I can’t tell you how much that is appreciated as a bride. The food was AMAZING and the cocktail hour was AMAZING as well. Everything is so well planned and executed. I couldn’t have had a better wedding day and I owe it all to the Fox hollow. If you’re not getting married here, you’re doing it wrong!!!!

Fox Hollow was simply AMAZING! We fell in love with this venue right from the start and Taylor was wonderful! They were on top of every little detail from day one until our wedding day and made our wedding go so smooth.

We couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding! We got married in the Winter Garden room on 3/29/19 and our night was better than we had hoped for! The entire experience was amazing, from our first meeting with the manager back in July until we checked out if the hotel the morning after our wedding. The staff is easy to get ahold of and communicate with, organized, and very willing to answer questions and solve any problems. The food was amazing, beautiful hotel rooms, and an overall amazing venue. Our Maitre D, Dom, and bridal attendant, Kiersten, couldn’t have been more kind of helpful to us. They were there whenever we needed them, extremely professional, and a pleasure to have spent our night with. Our wedding day was perfect - THANK YOU!!!!! :)

Be advised once you book and give your deposit, you will need to pay an additional $35 per person for your tasting. You must pay the additional fee in order to taste the food you already in contract to pay for. I am still looking forward to my upcoming wedding but was not told this until it was time to book the tasting.

First time we saw the place, we fell in love with the venue. From working with James in the beginning to meeting and working with Jessica and finally our MaitreD Samir and Claudia the experience was the best. The always focused on what we needed especially during the reception. Everyone was very efficient and the service is top notch. The food is exquisite and we received a lot of compliments from our guests. We also stayed at the Hotel and some of our guests extended their stay.

Do not be bullied by the Inn at Fox Hollow. This review is based on a bride who had a room block at this hotel. I did not have my wedding at this venue but I did reserve a room for myself and a block for my guests. As a newly engaged bride, I was excited to book my venue and find a hotel 5 minutes of driving distance. After speaking with Jennifer, the Sales Manager, she made it seem like the weekend of my wedding was not a super busy weekend so I should not have a problem booking only 10 rooms for the evening of my wedding. Also, in the reservation guarantee on the contract it states “a credit card is required to guarantee seventy percent of the books blocked in total. If less than 70% of the room nights are reserved from the block at the time of 1/16/2019, your credit card with be charged the difference.” If 70% of the rooms were not booked, I would be out $3,000. I decided to play it safe and not block off as many rooms. Well, all of the rooms that were booked quickly for Saturday evening and when I followed up to book more rooms and the ENTIRE HOTEL WAS BOOKED. Also, according to the front desk, the weekend of my wedding is extremely popular due to Valentine’s Day and it was President’s weekend. Great. Jennifer was no help but I spoke with her boss Laura who magically found two extra rooms available for that Saturday evening. I asked if any rooms opened up, to please let me know. Within a month before my wedding, 4 rooms did open up. I was told that I have 24 hours to ask my guests if they wanted to book their rooms at this hotel. Yeah let me stop everything that I am doing, pause wedding planning, take a break from work to reach out to all of my guests that could not stay at this hotel in the first place to have them stop what they are doing to book a hotel room. No. Apparently, I should have read the contract for the Inn at Fox Hollow again because they do not accept gift bags that have individual names on them. How was I supposed to remember that? My fiancé arrives with the gift bags and he was told that they do not accept individualized gift bags but they would give them to our guests at $5 per bag. My fiancé called and I said absolutely not, bring them home and we will figure it out. I confirmed with Jennifer and Laura that it stated nowhere on the contract this cost for individualized bags. Jennifer explained that delivering the bags to each guests’ room is a cost of $5 per bag. Well, that was not explained so from our end, it seems like you are hustling us for money. Again, until I got Laura involved, did a resolution helping us occurred. The hotel hand delivered our bags to our guests free of charge. This was great but I definitely would have been out even more money if I did not decided to look into this and decided to just cave to pay this fee. At this point, I am not looking forward to staying at this hotel. The Royal Suite, our hotel room, felt and looked smaller than the King Studio rooms my guests stayed in. My bridesmaids offered to switch rooms because they felt horrible that I spent more money for a room that had barely any differences for the additional cost. If you decide to stay here, to do not fall into their trap by spending the extra money because you do not want to deal with the hassle and stand your ground!!

Honestly, I fell in love with the venue from the minute I saw the Winter Garden room. My party was a little too big to have the party in the Winter Garden room so they let us have the ceremony there and then move the party into the Garden Terrace room. It was the perfect size for my party, no one felt cramped and everyone had PLENTY of room to dance! The food was AMAZING. Everyone in my big Italian family was so amazed by cocktail hour and their large menu for dinner, they thought I was mistaken when I said they got to choose between 10 entrees. From start to finish they were nothing but amazing with us. We even booked at the Inn to get ready the morning of and they worked with us with taking pictures on the property before my 6pm wedding since it got dark before our ceremony. Samir was my Maitre D and he was a complete doll, he was so thorough and nothing was missed! He was so much fun to work with. They really did right by us and I would recommend them to anyone.
