Foxhall Resort

I hate to even give Foxhall one star. I would NOT book a wedding at Foxhall Resort for any reason. The beauty of the landscape is undeniable but the quality of service is nonexistent – literally. In the seven months of planning prior to my wedding, Foxhall churned through SIX catering managers. There was NO consistent contact from the resort. Thankfully I hired my own event planner, but the stress led up to the very day of the event with the sixth manager quitting the week before. They operate in a state of total dysfunction with an extremely poor level of management, service, quality of food, and disrepair of the venues. Do not be lured in by the beauty of the property. DO NOT DO THIS TO YOURSELF!

The venue (Legacy Lookout) is gorgeous. The catering, however, needs some significant improvement. When we had our tasting we selected a menu and the food was delicious. However, the food at the reception was not what we agreed on and the quality was sub par. They ran out of food for a buffet style dinner for about 25% of our guests, and after opting for the bar package they had inadequate mixers, ran out of alcohol, and did not provide the number of bartenders we had paid for. Coordination was challenging as they had significant turnover with their wedding sales coordinator throughout the year (my daughter had 5 different contacts within 10 months). We had a room block promised to us, and then when confirming had learned that the coordinator had left without booking, leaving us to have to find alternate lodging and transportation. The day of the wedding, our sales coordinator was no where to be found as well. At the end of the day they did provide us a portion of our fees and apologized for the mishaps. If they could improve their coordination, plan more effectively, and minimize turnover it could be a great place to get married.

We had my daughters wedding here in May. It was at Legacy, beautiful venue plenty of room for 200 people. We had it catered by Atlanta's finest catering , Lorie Bomar. Lorie did the food and Wendy the decorating she did a fabulous job. The food was great flowers were awesome. The venue inside and outside looked amazing. It was just stunning what these ladies did. Lorie, assured me that we could fit 250 people which we had 220 and she was correct. Now, the only thing I will complain about were the bathroom, half way threw the wedding the bathrooms stopped working not just one all of them. Really? what a problem with so many people. I did say something to them and they told me they called maintenance , which never showed up! We had a wonderful time under these circumstances. The out side reception area was a hit. Lorie, passed out appetizers and drinks while we finished up pictures. It is a lovely venue not cheap, but beautiful after Lorie and Wendy where done. The bridesmaids area could use a little help. I would recommend, make sure bathroom work!!!!!

We had our wedding at Foxhall Resort in August. It is a beautiful venue with lots of space and provides a quaint, Southern style. My husband and I wanted something different from the traditional ballroom and when we visited Foxhall Resort for the first time, we booked on the spot because we loved it so much. The process to book and the communication before the wedding was great. It was tough planning a wedding during a pandemic and we decided to only have 25 people at our wedding. Foxhall was accommodating of our change and even gave us some flexibility, which was more than appreciated. However, on the day of our wedding some items we previously discussed that Foxhall would provide such as temperatures checks for all guests, honeymoon suite extras, and beverage service did not occur. I reached out to Foxhall a few weeks after the wedding and shared these concerns. I received an immediate apology back and was told that someone would respond to me. It has been over a month and even with a few check-ins, I have not heard back. Overall, I had an amazing wedding day, however, the lack of follow up put a damper on my experience at Foxhall and left me feeling like we were just “another wedding”. With our small guest count, we did not have to proceed with Foxhall, but instead desired to keep our wedding plans in place. I understand that the venue is short staffed and has had some staffing changes, however this level of customer service is unacceptable. I do hope they learn from this experience that it is just as important to treat a former customer the same as you would a new customer as the power of words and reviews go a long way.

One of my best friends was married here and it was absolutely magical! Wonderful weekend with so many activities for all ages. Highly recommend and will be returning! Five stars!

I attended a gorgeous wedding here. The views and the venue were spectacular. I would highly recommend this place for a special event.

If I could give this resort ) stars I would.. My and my fiance' viewed the property and it was not clean and not well organized on the tour. After the outbreak of COVID-19 plans stayed in place but as this pandemic seems to show no signs of slowing this wedding venue and their employees continued to push for money for a wedding date in Feb. 21 that no one knows is going to happen. When I wanted to cancel of course these greedy folks would not refund and pointed to the contract.. .There is nothing in your contract that speaks of GLOBAL pandemics and getting married in an open setting with a large group of people is not advisable now or in the future right now and all Hanna the wedding sales manager and Ashley care about lining their pockets and taking advantage of people. I have recommended to my friends and other business associates to NEVER do business with this company.

We had the wedding of our dreams at Foxhall! The venue was absolutely perfect and all of the staff were both professional and friendly. Both Candice and Randi were amazing. Not only did they made the vision of our wedding come to life, but they also went above and beyond at every stage to make sure we were happy with the experience. We truly could not have asked for a weekend, and look forward to returning to Foxhall in the future! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place with "southern charm" as well as a clean and modern feel.

My husband and I really enjoyed working with Hannah Freeze and Foxhall. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. I think it's a bit on the pricier side, but there are certain luxuries that come with the venue that I do not believe you'd have at other venues. Hannah was super helpful and always found the answer we needed. Her other team members (Marty!) were also great to work with. They went out of their way to ensure that we had what we needed on wedding day. I'd definitely recommend Foxhall and Hannah to others. Everyone talked about how gorgeous our venue was! I was a bride who went through over 15 different venues in Atlanta, Tennessee, North Carolina before I found Foxhall Resort, our dream venue!! The grounds are simply incredible and we fell in love with everything the second we drove onto the property! Deniese was our coordinator and she was so helpful and easy to work with from beginning to end!! I cannot give glowing enough of a review for this venue and Deniese and all the staff who work behind the scenes. Both of our families and bridal parties many of whom flyed from other cities of U.S. and even overseas, stayed on property for the weekend- It is simply the best experience we could ever ask for for our guests! The lodges are amazingly cozy, private and luxurious at the same time, there are a lot of day-time activities on site for my guests to enjoy, the staff were super attentive to the needs of our guests. We cannot thank Foxhall enough for making our wedding weekend so PERFECT and SPECIAL!! :) If you’re considering getting married here—do it! You will not regret it!!

Foxhall Resort is a lovely venue with lots of fun amenities, beautifully decorated lodging in various sizes, and a quaint restaurant with delicious food. The wedding and reception were at the Stables venue, and there is a great getting ready room upstairs for bridesmaids to get hair and make up done- even has a small refrigerator, sink, and restroom. The cocktail hour was behind the stables facing the lake and was a very pretty space. The staff was good to work with and worked hard to accommodate our special requests.

The pictures do not do this venue justice. We booked Foxhall online while living out of state and it was even more beautiful than we thought. Staff was very helpful and truly went above and beyond for us. Love this place- everything about it!

Such a beautiful venue!! Absolutely loved having my wedding at the Stables at Foxhall. The property is breathtaking! Hannah was great to work with but I think it would be beneficial if they hired some more folks to work with Hannah since she was the only one taking care of all the wedding. She did a good job with communicating with us and we appreciated all her hard work. We had a few bumps down the road but again I don't think those things would have happened if there was a larger team. The accommodations for family and guests are amazing. We rented the 2 houses for our families and wedding party and our guests stayed in the 4 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and 1 bedroom villas and LOVED them. I would definitely recommend Foxhall as a great place to get married!!

Foxhall was an easy choice after our first visit; the Stables were so picturesque & the perfect mix of rustic-elegant we didn’t even know we wanted! We also had our rehearsal dinner/welcome party at Legacy Lookout, which had a totally different vibe and kept our guests entertained. The location worked well for us, as most of our guests were traveling from afar. Hannah, our venue coordinator, was the absolute sweetest and worked hard to make sure our plans and the whole weekend flowed smoothly. We did have a few hiccups with the venue itself during the planning process, though not during the actual weekend. We encouraged most guests to stay in the newly built accommodations, which were great, but a shuttle service to/from the cottages & venue would have been very helpful since the roads are a bit windy (particularly following a 4-hour open bar). You could of course hire a shuttle service, but we personally felt the expense was not worth the 1-mile drive our guests ended up making. Everything ended up being perfect in the end, and we were very happy with Foxhall’s list of preferred vendors (all of which we ended up booking). Our photos also came out beautiful and there are so many great spots on the property to choose from for pictures. I think once the remaining accommodations and hotel are built, this venue has the potential to be one of the best GA offers!

Best property & team! We knew Foxhall was the one the moment we did our venue tour! Hannah worked with us every step of the way to make sure everything was beyond perfect. Even when we had to go with our backup rain plan it actually turned out even better than we ever envisioned ourselves. Our guests can’t stop complimenting Foxhall either. The lodging is top of the line and all of our guests were amazed and felt like they were on vacation too. Best decision we made!

Wow! Foxhall was the wedding venue of my dreams. We got married outside the Stables and had our cocktail hour and reception in the venue itself; it was absolutely gorgeous. The venue is rustic feeling but very modern and clean; it is the best of both worlds. The team at Foxhall is so accommodating and kind; Hannah is so nice and truly a pleasure to work with. Even if issues came up, their team came right back to us and worked with us to make us feel comfortable. We also rented the two large luxury homes on property (groomsmen and plus ones in one house and bridesmaids and plus ones in the other) as well as a two bedroom villa for our parents – the accommodations are AMAZING. The houses are absolutely gorgeous, each bedroom is huge and has its own bathroom and giant closets. I had 8 bridesmaids each with a date and myself and still had extra rooms in the bridesmaid house; it seems to go on forever! The kitchens were beautiful and the views were amazing. We all joked that we wanted to move into the houses. Foxhall was absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend it!!!

We had our wedding at legacy lookout at Foxhall. To say it was a fairytale is an understatement. Everything about the venue is amazing. We worked with Hannah and her team all year leading up to the wedding to pull off our dream wedding. My husband and I️ would highly recommend this venue to all couples!

We got married September 28th and I can’t say enough just how amazing Foxhall is! We got married at the Stables which was perfect for our small, intimate wedding. Denise and her team made sure that we had anything we could possibly need the day of and all of the days leading up to our big event. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, even with having to move it inside last minute. Our cocktail hour was still able to be held outside, and even though it had rained, the staff went out of their way to make sure the camp fire was lit as soon as it could be for our s’mores bar. We also rented the two lodged on site to hold our family and bridal party. Amazing, amazing amazing I would recommend this to anyone! Our whole bridal party agreed we had so much fun the entire wedding weekend/wedding that we should make a reunion trip to Foxhall every year. All in all if you’re wondering if this place is the one for you, IT IS! :)

Foxhall is the PERFECT place to have your wedding! They were a dream to work with from start to finish. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the venue was! And the accommodations are perfect for out of town guests. They layout of the property was perfect for everyone to be close together and enjoy a lot of quality time together leading up to our big day! We give Foxhall Resort an A+ and highly recommend!

I am not sure what all the fuss about the staff is in the previous reviews. Maybe they are dated by a few years, so brides, don't be deterred!! We got married October 6, 2018 at Legacy Lookout and had the BEST experience with the accommodations and all staff. Deniese Minear took over for me early on when there were some staff turnovers, but Deneise was always so accommodating and on top of everything. Even when we had hectic schedules, Deneise always dropped everything to answer questions promptly or even show us the venue multiple times. The photos that the website provides do not do the actual grounds justice - trust me, just go see it!! The view at Legacy Lookout is to die for - the main sway for Legacy over the Stables. The decor that they have set up in both venues is incredibly elegant and can work with any style. I must also add - if you go with Foxhall Resort (you won't be disappointed), getting both lodges for the wedding party was the best decision we could have made. The lodges are beautiful and spacious making for a great time to be had by all as it is just a quick walk between the two. Having the lodges made for a bonding experience to be had by all and offered a great meeting place for family and friends before departing at the end of the weekend. I could really go on and on about how happy we were with our experience. Thank you to everyone there who made the day and weekend special for us!

Foxhall is an absolutely beautiful venue. The grounds are well maintained with a bunch of activities available (skeet shooting, driving range, hiking, fishing, etc.) and we chose to have our ceremony outside of The Stables followed by reception inside. The guest rooms available on the grounds are very convenient and the check-in staff the day of were very helpful. Now to the reasons why I am rating this venue so low. 1) Guest room prices are too high. Not only are the rooms quite pricey, they require a 2 night minimum!! This can be a huge inconvenience for people that can’t make a full weekend out of the wedding. Why on earth they require a 2-night minimum as a wedding venue (a 1-day event) is beyond me. 2) If you decide to go with Foxhall your main point of contact will more than likely be Deniese Minear (see other reviews on the Knot as multiple references). We had to continuously ask a million questions that she should have been informing us of proactively and then got answers that made us feel stupid for even asking. We were not made aware that we would have someone completely new to coordinate with on the wedding until shortly before the wedding which left room for miscommunication. When we asked for her contact information she refused saying that we could not contact her. Even more disappointing was our 30 day final walk through. We arrived filled with excitement that was quickly removed by Deniese's cold and transactional attitude. She sat at the table inside the venue the entire time, didn't show us around or point out anything, and after about 10 minutes said "alright is there anything you need from Foxhall?". This made for a very upsetting last experience on the property before the big day and left us feeling unsure of how things would run on the day of the wedding. This customer facing role should belong to someone with a much friendlier and warm personality. We truly hate to give a bad review for a venue that is so beautiful but until some of the management related issues are addressed we would suggest looking elsewhere, unless you plan to have a personal full time wedding coordinator take all this stress for you and an endless budget…

I cannot say enough amazing things about Foxhall! I first heard of this venue before I was even engaged- my friend came to me and told me she found my dream venue. When I did get engaged, my friend insisted it be the first venue we went to look at and that day, we were SOLD. The Stables were exactly what I had imagined for myself and it brought my vision to life. Not only that, but the staff was AMAZING throughout the entire planning process and through the day of. I know I was told they were short staffed the day of, but you couldn't tell at all because all hands were on deck. I also cannot say enough amazing things about Deniese Minear. She went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect, and perfect it surely was. We will never forget her customer service and are so grateful for all of her help. The wedding day was gorgeous and just how I had envisioned it, it was the perfect venue. Hurricane Florence decided to make an appearance last minute right before and during our outside ceremony, and it was STILL drop dead gorgeous. Not only that, but they were still able to hold the cocktail hour outside, which I loved so much. Our wedding day was nothing short of perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better venue or service. Thank you Foxhall for making our dream wedding come true.

I am writing this as a guest of a recent wedding. Since I have been in the wedding business myself for years, I really notice when the problems are enough to bother me when I know the price of this kind of wedding. The service was outdoors and rain looked like it was looming over us. The director cut the rabbi short during the ceremony. I only sprinkled rain but I thought it was rudely done. There were 3 bartenders at one table with long lines which had no where to go. The reception was split into 2 rooms after we waited for over an hour to go inside. My table was served food at the same time the other room was doing the 1st dance. Food was cold! Service very poor. Need I say more?

We were married at the stables last year! The venue itself was beautiful and breathtaking. My 3 star rating comes in with the sales staff for weddings changing 3 times luckily I kept all of my paperwork so pricing would be addressed accordingly. My 30 day was great on the vendors part, Deniese wasn’t inviting, got my contract information, reminded me about a payment, and left. Deniese is not a real friendly person to be one of the head people here, tolerable. They give you a 10am call time on weather which I didn’t like we are in GA!! So I was pretty much forced to make the call for inside when wanting to change, Deniese implied it’s too late (mind you it was 10:30am).. Either way my wedding turned out great! Being a wedding coordinator myself it’s a lot on back end things Foxhall should work on. Also, have your ducks in a row they charge for everything nothing complimentary. I do you can bring in outside vendors, that was the best part! Nonetheless my wedding was phenomenal and ran smoothly.

We got married at The Stables and the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous! We loved that we could have both our ceremony and our reception inside air conditioning in the summer with no changeover. However, there are several downsides to this venue as well. First, the price. The upfront price for the venue is expensive but beyond that, they will nickel and dime you for every little thing. Be sure to read all of your contracts very closely, as things that we were told were included by the sales person (ex. a wedding coordinator) were later revealed to be untrue. Deniese, the primary person that we worked with was borderline unfriendly and very unaccommodating. When we showed up for the 30 day walkthrough of our venue expecting to take pictures and measurements for our vendors, we were told we could not access half of the venue because they had double booked it. These type of things became unsurprising the longer we worked with Foxhall. Overall, our recommendation is to proceed with caution--the venue itself is amazing but be prepared to spend a lot and deal with hassles and unfriendly staff.

I knew when I looked at the pictures of Foxhall that we would love it as our wedding venue! It definitely does not feel like it is 20 minutes from Atlanta! We felt like we were out in the country-side with all of our family and friends. We had our rehearsal dinner at the polo pavilion which turned out perfectly. There is only one restaurant at this time on site but it is so delicious! They accommodated all of our guests during the entire weekend for all meals. We used the stables for our ceremony and reception. I did not want to stress about the weather so we did the ceremony inside one side of the stables and the reception was already set on the other side. The stables are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! They are completely re-done and in perfect condition. The bridal suite above the stables was very large and perfect for our big group of girls to get ready in. We had the cocktail hour outside on the lawn/side of the stables near the lake which was perfect. The bar on the reception side is absolutely beautiful! We had about 140 guests and fit them perfectly in there with a dance floor and DJ table. They flipped the ceremony side QUICKLY after the ceremony to put the dinner stations there. The entire Foxhall staff was so nice and even greeted us with champagne as soon as my husband and I checked in! We rented the large Cypress house for the entire bridal party to stay in. There were about 18 people total in the house and we had plenty of room and privacy for everyone! Most of our guests stayed in the villas or cottages and said they were perfect and spacious. This venue is slightly on the pricier side, but worth every penny in my opinion. Douglasville is not too far (about 20 minutes) down the road if you needed to run out and get anything. The guys went for a quail hunt and did the shooting clays a few days before and loved it! We will definitely be back to visit! I would highly recommend Foxhall as a wedding or event venue!

My daughter was married at Legacy Lookout on 10-28-17. While the venue is beautiful, it's not worth the hassle. Throughout the year, the sales staff changed 3 times, answers changed with each new person. It rained the day of the wedding. The day of coordinator for Fox Hall was pleasantly working with our event planner regarding bringing the ceremony inside. However, Deniese Minear, the Wedding Director, became involved and was most unaccommodating and inflexible. We paid too much money to have her attitude. Brides to be....keep looking.

We got married this October and absolutely loved our venue at Legacy Lookout, it was stunning!!! I do want to write the best review for Foxhall but there were a number of issues we faced once we signed the dotted line. Please make sure that anything you are told prior to booking that you get it in writing because Foxhall experienced a lot of turnover during our 7 months of wedding planning and went through 3 Sales Associates which became an issue which each associate would tell us a different story, price, etc. Unfortunately, the rest staff wasn't always easiest to work with either. I think our biggest issue is we were promised the moon for a set price prior to booking and then once they had us on the hook everything changed. Pricing, response time, telling us we could do one thing and then the week of the wedding finding out that we cannot. It was a constant struggle working with the staff to get the same answer across the line and getting responses back. We loved our venue and wouldn't have changed it for the world but do wish that Foxhall employees were more accommodating and professional when working with a couple for the biggest day of their lives.

As much as I absolutely adored this venue, the staff was very difficult to work with. After we selected the venue and progressed through the planning process, we had to go through 3-4 people at Foxhall alone to discuss contracts and schedule walk throughs. There are several hidden fees and it can make it become quite pricy. We ate at The Paddock Restaurant after my rehearsal in which each of my guests were charged a different price than what was stated on the menu because their prices had changed but were not updated on the menu yet. The event planning staff did not communicate well on my wedding day with one day of planner, Courtney (who is amazing and accommodating) informing me that I had until 3pm instead of 10:00am the day of to call for rain. All the flip called for was removal of chairs outside and placement of chairs around the tables inside into ceremony seating. Of course it stormed and as the staff was moving the chairs from outside, the lead of logistics, Deniese Minear, came into the venue at 4:00 (5:00 ceremony start) and told my mom the chairs wouldn't be moved. Her and my mom exchanged words with Deniese being incredibly unprofessional and refusing to move chairs. I received an email at 4:40 (I was walking down the aisle at 5:00) from Deniese regarding previous conversations about flipping the room for the day of to remind me that I passed my 10:00am call time. I love the way my wedding turned out in the gorgeous space but was stressed due to communication issues among the staff and incredibly upset the day of due to an unaccommodating and unprofessional lead of event planning.

Foxhall is beautiful! We had our wedding at the stables on March 31, 2017 and were lucky enough to have perfect spring weather! The staff was very helpful and made sure our day went off without a hitch. I received so many compliments from out of town guests about how nice the venue was and even some local guests that had never been out to Foxhall. We rented one of the lodges for the bridal party after the wedding and had a great time continuing the celebration in close proximity. Highly recommend!

The venue was beautiful. The staff overall was very helpful. The was plenty of parking and the venue worked with us to make our wedding however we wanted it. The only reason we didn't given them 5 stars is because the sales representative tried to up charge us a number of times on the bar package and even after we said no sent over a contact with the higher bar package. We got it straightened out eventually and it worked out but it was a blemish on an otherwise amazing experience. We still highly recommend this venue just keep an eye on your paperwork.

We chose The Stables at Foxhall Resort for our wedding ceremony and reception and we couldn't be happier! The scenery is picturesque and we felt like we were the only ones on the property even though there were other weddings. Brooke Tolleson, Kristin Rigby and Deniese Minear were always helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. We stayed on the property for the whole weekend in two houses - The Cypress Lodge and Oriole Lodge. We loved having access to the amenities, such as the lake and the pool. We had a fabulous weekend and our wedding day was perfect. Thank you, Foxhall!

I want to say lovely things about Foxhall, I really do, but there were just a lot of issues I can't ignore. The good stuff: Legacy Lookout was beautiful and picture perfect. All of our guests loved it, and I am still receiving compliments on its beauty! Our 200 guests + vendors all fit comfortably inside and outside the venue. We were allowed to incorporate our dogs in the ceremony, which was a big deal for us. My family and bridesmaids stayed in one of the lodges while the groom's family & groomsmen stayed in the other. The amenities were good and the beds slept incredibly well. The bad stuff: Although we paid thousands of dollars up front for the lodges, we were unable to see inside them until the day we checked in. We asked several dozen times if we could go inside, and although we were told it would be okay, we were never actually let in. In fact, my mom drove over an hour after making an appointment to see the lodges, only to be told when she arrived that she couldn't. It was VERY frustrating and caused a lot of problems when we arrived and discovered we did not have enough room for everyone. It could have been avoided if they had let us inside at least once over the course of the YEAR before the wedding. I was also very annoyed to receive an email from the wedding coordinator, Deniese, the day after the wedding accusing us of leaving the altar at the venue, and letting us know that it would be promptly removed. When I emailed her back to tell her our altar was in our possession and she was mistaken, she did not even respond. I did not like working with Deniese from the beginning. I immediately got the feeling she disliked me, but since she never even tried to be friendly with me I can only imagine that she just thinks everyone sucks. Basically, I feel like we paid waaaay too much money for the kind of service we received (or didn't receive).

I got married at the Stables in November and I couldn't of asked for a better venue! It is so so so beautiful and everything I could have ever imagined. We worked with the amazing Brooke and she totally sold us on foxhall! We also rented out both lodges for our wedding party and family which is a must! They are pricey but totally worth it. It made our wedding into a whole weekend instead of just one day. I can't say enough good things about foxhall! PERFECT wedding venue if you are looking for rustic elegance with the glam!

We loved this venue so much! They were very receptive and responsive to all our questions and requests. You do have to choose and bring in all the vendors for the event but they give you a list of those they have recently used that couples have liked. Our family stayed at the villas which, are beautiful, and gave the feel of a destination wedding. The whole night of the wedding my family and I felt so attended to and taken care of. We cannot say enough great things about this venue!

We held my daughter's wedding at Legacy Lookout on December the 10th of this year. The venue itself is just beautiful. It has been recently remodeled in the bridal suite and we had 10 lovely bridemaids all getting ready at the same time and managed to have plenty of room. The various recommended vendors were out of this world wonderful!! We loved the ease with which the entire event was managed and would like to recommend that anyone looking for an awesome experience give this location a visit. It was the first and last place we looked at. We never went anywhere else and we never regretted that decision!! Wish we could do it all over again. :-)

The staff at Fox Hall from beginning to end went overboard to make sure that our daughter had the fairy tale wedding that she dreamed of...from their staff, their vendor recommendations to helping us find missing items afterwards, they went out of their way. I can't say enough wonderful things about them!!!

My wife and I booked Foxhall for our only daughter's wedding and we were impressed and very satisfied with the experience from start to finish. The Foxhall team is extremely experienced in their approach and one of their team is a former wedding planner. They provided good ideas, timely response and helpful recommendations. The facility itself is beautiful with rolling hills, lakes and forest. Our venue, The Stables, really impressed our guests and created the perfect environment for both a beautiful ceremony and fabulous reception. The Foxhall team provided support throughout and we are happy to recommend them to anyone who is planning an upcoming wedding.

Foxhall left quite the impression on my groom and I from the moment we stepped onto the property. We got married over Labor Day Weekend and wanted a place outside of the hustle and bustle of Atlanta during the holiday. Initially, my groom was a little put out by the distance but this was instantly forgotten once we stepped onto their lush acreage. We chose the Stables--it was truly a no-brainer. The venue was so clean and so simply but tastefully decorated. There was so much light and had an open-air feeling that we had not experienced at other wedding site visits. The bridal suite was gorgeous--so much room for my bridal party, make-up artist and hair dressers. You could not help but to feel like a princess while getting ready! The ceremony site was outside of the stables within the paddocks. The walkway to the arbor is perfectly paved and provides a magnificent entrance in as a bride. During the summer months, the trees were so lush and green and provided some shade as well. The arbor is big...and I did have to grow into liking it's appearance! But if you have a good design team, it will look exactly how you need it to look! The staff for Foxhall were very easy to work with and everything was executed as discussed!

I recently had my wedding at the stables, and it was absolutely beautiful. The lighting in the whole venue is so bright and pure with the multitude of windows and glass doors. Outside is filled with greenery and acres of land. The whole resort is absolutely wonderful, and we had so many comments on how beautiful it is. The bridal room is also filled with that wonderful natural light to make getting ready and bridal portraits to die for. One of the perks of this property is the amenities. We were able to stay on property with our whole wedding party Friday-Sunday! We play yard games, went swimming, and the guys got to do skeet shooting the morning of the wedding as well. There are so many other options as well that we didn't have the time to experience. The staff is accommodating at this venue, and even with hiccups along the way, they made sure to smooth everything out, and to make everything perfect. There wasn't a bump in the road on the day of and we could not have been happier.

We are getting married next September at Legacy Lookout at Foxhall Resort & Sporting Club! We originally looked at the beach as a wedding venue, but fell in love with Foxhall and decided to get married there instead. The property and venues are absolutely stunning and the staff could not have been more helpful. We live in NYC so we only had one day to visit the property. We already booked the resort for the full weekend for all our wedding events and the Foxhall staff even helped us find our vendors! We are having a Thursday night welcome party at Grand Pavillion, Friday night rehearsal dinner at the stables, and Saturday ceremony and reception at Legacy Lookout. We would HIGHLY recommend this venue!!

The Grand Pavilion was the perfect venue for our modern geometric meets picnic style wedding. We had our ceremony on the lawn overlooking the gorgeous paddocks that stretch out over the flowing landscape that Foxhall has created. After the ceremony, guest enjoyed picnic blankets and lawn games under the arms of the trees that line the upper lawn and mingled on the back patio that we lined with cafe lights and added a second bar to. The A-framesque Pavilion itself was the perfect tie in to the moss covered geometric shapes and floral arrangements and bright colors we used for our reception. We decided to use the front room and patio for our dinner area. We used the inside bar for our Bloody Mary set up, making use of the awesomely long bar! And we used the back room for our cake table and inside dance floor and had several high boys set up for guest to gather around. It was everything I could have wanted in a venue for our styling ideas. As for the staff, I could not imagine a better team to work with and enjoyed every minute of it! Brooke helped me with each and every one of my 1027 questions and was always kind, knowledgeable and encouraging. We booked both the Cypress Lodge and the Oriole House and couldn't have been happier that we made that decision. The homes were perfectly maintained, clean and welcoming! And Brent was a joy to work with as well. I really enjoyed getting to see the playful banter that all of the staff have with one another, it made me feel among friends and allowed me to comfortable ask any question I had about any idea I could dream up. I cannot imagine having any other experience and believe it was well worth every penny we spent. Start to finish, working with Foxhall was a totally amazing experience! The best!

Foxhall is the most amazing venue we could have ever chosen for our special day! From the gorgeous setting and location to Brooke and her amazing team, everything about our day turned out perfectly. Foxhall even introduced us to a lot of the other vendors we ended up using (florist, decor, caterer, etc). They were so accommodating and made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing. We had the best day of our lives and can't possibly thank Foxhall enough!

We had our wedding at Foxhall, and they made our wedding day amazing! The service was outstanding--I felt like they were constantly accommodating our requests. Also, the venues speak for themselves--beautiful! I owe a lot to Foxhall for making our day unbelievable and for a wedding that our family & friends are still talking about!

Foxhall Resort is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. We used the Grand Pavilion for our rehearsal dinner, rented both homes for the bridal parties to stay in, and were married at Legacy Lookout! It was like having a destination wedding without leaving Georgia. There were so many fun activities to do to keep everyone occupied during the weekend. They have a pool that we were able to take my sisters children to during the day, and golf cart rentals to ride them around in. The groomsmen went on a clay shoot the day of the wedding and absolutely loved it! We didn't get to do the kayaking and fishing, but everyone talks constantly about renting the homes for a weekend in order to be able to enjoy a relaxing and fun weekend close to home, but with the feel of a far away vacation destination. One of the things we liked about Foxhall was that we had the option to use outside vendors instead of having to purchase a pricey food and alcohol package through the vendor like most other places we looked at. The venue rate is more expensive than some places, but it evens out with how much money you can save by using outside vendors. Their preferred vendor list is amazing! The staff at Foxhall is extremely helpful and cooperative. Brooke will be your initial contact. She does the tours and booking. I am a person with a million questions at all times, and Brooke was extremely patient and happily answered all of my questions! Deniese was my event coordinator. She handled my walkthrough of the venue the month before, and helped me make the decisions of how to arrange tables, buffet lines, etc. Everything at Foxhall was very well organized. The entire weekend there ran so smoothly. We had roughly 200 guests. Even with a 6 piece band, 2 bars, and 2 buffet lines the building didn't feel crowded. Everyone that attended the wedding has raved about how amazing and gorgeous this one of a kind venue was. Even our photographers, who shoot 25+ weddings per year all over the south, told our families it was the prettiest venue they'd ever seen and were excited they had a chance to shoot a wedding there. I would highly recommend booking your wedding with Foxhall. When you decide to have a wedding you are actively signing up for a ton of stress and a million decisions to make. I can say with confidence that choosing Foxhall for our venue was by far the easiest and best decision we made. They have different locations all over the property that can fit with any size wedding making it a great choice for most everyone. Where to begin? The beautiful trees in bloom and luscious grass early April. The kind, generous, one of a kind staff. The venue selection with views you can't beat. A wedding coordinator there for you whenever you have you "bridal 50 questions" that respond to every single one. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. They made us feel as if we were the only wedding going on and we were definitely top priority all day. From rehearsal to the big day, we couldn't have asked for a better staff. I don't know where to begin to describe how wonderful this venue was for our special day!!! From my first visit to tour with Brooke, I was so impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Upon touring, I absolutely fell in love with the grounds and knew this was the place I had dreamed of since I was a little girl. Brent and all of the staff were so wonderful to work with and the executed everything perfectly the day of ceremony and for rehearsal!! I HIGHLY recommend Foxhall to anyone for the most beautiful venue possible with the most amazing people to work with!!! A Thousand Thumbs UP!!:-)

I recently had my wedding here and they place was perfect! We worked with Brooke and she took care of our every need if she didn't know the answer she would copy me in an email with someone who did know the answer. On the day of the wedding there were so many people there making sure everything was exactly as I had planned in a meeting with Foxhall a month prior! I cannot say enough great things about Foxhall. People and venue were incredible!

My husband and I got married at Fox Hall on November 1, 2014 at The Stables. Our experience was phenomenal from our first visit to the departure at our wedding! I highly recommend Fox Hall! Their facilities are breathtaking and their staff is very friendly. Everyone went above and beyond for us to make our day perfect!

My husband and I spent a couple of months looking at various locations that offered outdoor venues, but none of them offered the privacy and view that Foxhall did. Our wedding was on Friday, October 10th and everything was beautiful. It was still pretty warm, so if you are hoping for chilly fall weather with leaves changing you may want to choose a date a little later. We chose the Legacy Lookout. We had approximately 90 guests including the wedding party. There was more than enough room for our guests, the full buffet, and a band and dance floor. The site manager was wonderful and I loved working with Brooke. Brooke made sure we got exactly what we wanted for our bar service. The day of the wedding we had trouble getting some shepherd hooks in the ground and the site manager was able to get tools right out there. All of my guests were awed by the site during the ceremony and reception and many of them said they hadn't been to a more beautiful wedding.
