After the purchase, I wanted to add a topper onto the dress and Francesca and Marla worked to make my dream come true. I LOVED my dress and couldn't have imagined choosing it anywhere else. I 10/10 recommend Francescas Bridal and could not have imagined getting my dream dress anywhere else.

e fun. I went to one store before Francesca’s and I left feeling discouraged. When I walked in francesca’s I felt a breath of fresh air, this store was different. First, you’re treated like the only bride when Francesca or Kara is working with you. Second, their selection of gowns are truly beyond my wildest dreams. I felt gorgeous in every single one and could have played dress up all day. But Francesca knew exactly what I wanted and put me in the Rivini gown of my dreams. I couldn’t leave without buying that dress. Being 5 hours away during alterations was hard but Kara was so accommodating to when I was able to come back and planned things around my schedule. When coronavirus halted my wedding plans, Kara knew exactly what to do so my dress was perfect when my day finally arrived. I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was to work with these ladies. They truly make dreams come true.

My MOH and I were greeted and checked in moments after we arrived. Kara Moro brought us champagne while we waited and let us know that she would be with us momentarily. While waiting, we browsed the gowns in the trunk show and I picked out a few to try on. It was my turn to begin trying on dresses. I disliked one or two elements of every gown I picked out and was growing frustrated. Yes-you read that right; from the girl who had zero expectations coming into this, I was growing frustrated that I wouldn't be able to find a gown. Kara brought me a few more gowns and asked me to tell me what I liked and disliked about them. Not only did Kara voluntarily fan me with a wedding magazine to cool me off while I was trying on dresses, she patiently worked with me and critically listened to what I liked and disliked about every gown I tried on. The last gown she hung up is a very, very special gown. You are probably not going to believe me when I tell you this but Kara found the dress I fell in love with! I had a 5-star experience from the moment I walked into Francesca's until the moment I left. Kara and the rest of Francesca's are phenomenal and I will recommend this salon time and time again. Thank you all for making my first bridal appointment such a wonderful experience!

ut looking for dresses but I was on a time crunch so my mom and I had to go. Kara was amazingly helpful and working with her made me enjoy shopping for a dress again. She actually listened to my feedback and helped me find my perfect dress. I told her what I wanted and after trying on a few dresses I was started to get overwhelmed by the choices. One thing that was really important to me was being able to dance in my dress. So each dress I tried on I would dance a little in it. I remember one I did not dance in and Kara pointed it out and said ”that dress is a NO because you didn't like it enough to dance in it.” And she was 100% right! She talked to me like my friends would have and I loved that. With the help of her and my mom we found the winner. Probably my favorite thing about Francesca’s was their transparency. I told them my budget and not only did she keep me in my budget but, she pointed out that after the dress was altered it would still be within my budget! I went to 3 other salons and none of them mentioned keeping the dress and alterations in the budget. They were only focused on keeping the dress in budget. My dress came in on time, it was altered quickly, everyone in the salon was always professional and helpful.

rience at other places was nice, but nothing special. My Mom told me about Francesca’s, so we added it to the list and scheduled an appointment. From the moment we walked in, I knew this was the place I was going to find my dress. Kara and her Mom were so welcoming, nice, and funny too, which really helped me de-stress. They listened to everything I said I liked or didn’t like about wedding gowns, while also using their expertise to help me find the perfect gown. In fact, I was pretty set not trying any strapless gowns on (because I was so set on a high neck), but Kara said to try one on that she picked out based on what I was liking or not liking about other gowns. I was skeptical to say the least, but when you’re already stripped down and have tried on 20+ gowns, what’s one more? The Arielle by Amsale gown was the one. It was the most simple, clean, elegant gown, and while it was the exact opposite of high neck, I was so in love with it. It flattered my body type and had three small, satin bows in the back that really made it special. Without Kara, I would not have found my dress. I was amazed at how she got me to try on something that was not what I was originally going for, without being pushy, and it ended up being my dress. I 100% recommend Francesca’s Bridal to anyone looking for a dress. I loved it so much, I even bought my rehearsal dress there, too! Schedule an appointment... you won’t regret it.

and Marianne. They always made me feel welcome, celebrated the big moments with champagne, and allowed me to bring a reasonable amount of guests to each fitting. I found a GREAT sample sale dress, which was reasonably priced (below the store's $1800 dress starting price) and was able to come back for multiple styling and fitting appointments. I had my last fitting about 5 days before the wedding, and at which time the seamstress sewed in cups. I wish I had come back for a final fitting though because I wasn't quite comfortable with how the cups looked on the wedding day. Otherwise, my experience was perfect!

il for all accessories to accompany the gown, I would rate 5 stars. The reason for a lower star rating is the overall customer service. The prices match that of high quality gowns, and to pay the premium prices, one would expect high quality customer service. Great customer service was given during the selection of gown and for initial payment. After the initial service and payment were made to owner, the rest of process was handed down to associates, who were very kind, but communicating through a third party with details for the remainder of the process added to confusion and ill-informed information, especially regarding additional fees, such as shipping, alterations, which were not disclosed when purchasing. There were also issues with appointments that were changed, twice, on behalf of Francesca's Bridal, with not having items ready, which made for extra trips to Lutherville. Flexibility with scheduling is normal, and although challenging from out of town and working full time, was not concerning; it was the customer service of the delivery of the message with changes and not concerned at all with the imposition put on the customer. The delivery was of the messages were arrogant and demeaning. Although I loved the wedding dress purchased, with all the details and stress surrounding the planning of a wedding, I don't know that I would select Francesca's again. I worked with many vendors and stylists for the wedding, and everyone from very pricey items for the wedding to the smallest of items provided top notch customer service to add to the special memories of the wedding process. This was not my experience at Francesca's Bridal.

of the way. On the first fitting day, the first dress Francesca brought out WAS the dress! The fitting three months later was wonderful and then all that was left was a final fitting out in California where the wedding was to be held as my daughter could not get back east. Francesca and her daughters are so professional and helpful. There was a shipping problem and for a short time UPS had misplaced our dress. They sprang into action and had another dress (the same designer, the same dress) ready and waiting in case the dress did not appear. Fortunately, the dress made its way out to California and yet we were completely assured thanks to Francesca’s wonderful communication and calm manner. Thank you Francesca!

s the most gorgeous dresses- I didn’t want or need to look anywhere else for my wedding dress, after seeing the fantastic service and gorgeous selection of dresses when my sister bought her dress there. We have since recommended at least 3 friends to check out her salon— all of whom bought their dresses there after checking out multiple stores. Francesca and her daughters and staff take enormous care and pride in making everything beautiful and perfect for their brides. This is simply the best bridal salon!!

Saturday night, not black tie wedding, that would just make me feel special. On my first trip there, almost everything I tried on looked great, but was either too dressy, or just not right. Francesca suggested I return the following week for one of her designer's trunk show. She was sure this designer that fit me so well would have so many more dresses to choose from. The absolute perfect dress was there, and the designer sketched for me how she could make the halter back more appropriate for this MOG. Francesca's is a small, intimate very personal shopping experience and everyone there was cheering on my selection. When the dress arrived, minimal alterations were needed and were quite reasonable. At my second fitting, Francesca cajoled the seamstress into immediately doing one more small alteration while I waited, to save me another trip to Baltimore. I felt like a million bucks on my son's wedding day and there is no doubt in my mind that I found the perfect dress. Forget even bothering with DC shopping. I would go right back to Francesca's the next time I have the need for a special dress.

So let me tell you about Francesca’s, first of all I showed up to Francesca’s on my birthday without an appointment(I know huge wedding dress shopping faux pas) I showed up with a friend just to look- however, Francesca’s took me in immediately! They showed me something’s I might be interested in when I said I would love to try them on she made room for me in their busy schedule that day just 45minutes later!!! Their patience with me was impeccable as I had no clue what I wanted! I tried on multiple dresses and finally found it! I was able to say yes to the dress!!! So besides being extremely accommodating, they listen, they understand and they are extremely patient!!! I highly recommend every lady stop at Francesca’s(make an appointment first 😉) but I don’t think you’ll have to look any further!!!

salon I visited and I had a vision - a silhouette and material in mind. My appointment was with Francesca, and she listened to my vision and what I was looking for in a wedding dress and grabbed a few dresses for me to try on. What I appreciate about the visit is that, to be sure I knew what I wanted, Francesca made sure to select a dress that was along the same vein but different slightly in material, structure and silhouette. It helped solidify my choice. I found The dress, I found MY dress! Because Francesca’s was my first visit, I still went to my other appointments, just to be sure, but made a return appointment to try on MY dress again. No other dress made me feel the way this one did. Once my dress was purchased, I communicated with Kara (who was prompt and detailed) regarding my dress status and scheduling fittings. Francesca’s Bridal has an in-house seamstress, who does incredible work and quickly! The only very minor bummer was that one of the small crystals on the back of one of my straps popped out of its prongs before the ceremony at some point. My overall experience with Francesca's Bridal was fantastic! I wish I had an excuse to wear my dress over and over and over again.

The entire staff was the same way. They were proactive in scheduling. When I had fittings, they had my dress already out for me in the fitting area. They were expecting me and ready. ful of dresses I tried at Francesca’s, Kara asked me to “humor” her by trying a dress on that was the complete opposite of what I had my heart set on—opposite fabric, opposite cut, opposite style. And it ended up being *the* dress! Kara has such an obvious eye for recognizing what flatters various body types, and she made me feel at ease enough that I was ok stepping outside of my comfort zone. After purchasing the dress, the rest of the process was a breeze. Kara stayed in touch regarding the status of our order, and the salon was very accommodating in terms of scheduling fittings for times that worked best for me. There wasn’t a moment during the entire process that I felt stress due to my dress, and I know that’s a feeling many brides go through. Oh, and Francesca’s seamstress, Gana, is an alterations superwoman! We are so pleased, all around, with our experience with Francesca’s.

And that is exactly what she did – making every single visit fun and enjoyable, finding the perfect hair accessories, custom designing a veil, overseeing each and every fitting, personally delivering and laying out our garments the day before and assuring us that there wouldn’t be any wardrobe malfunctions on the big day but if there was, she was just a short drive away and would be there in a jiffy. My MOB gown was ordered during a trunk show six months before the wedding. It was the first venue we visited and the second dress I tried on. I felt like a million dollars walking out of that salon knowing that in fifteen minutes my dress search was over. When it was time for fittings, I feel like they spent as much time on me as they did on the bride – tweaking here and there to make sure that the fit was as perfect as could be. I will never forget how I felt when I slipped into my dress on the big day not to mention how beautiful and happy my daughter was in her Francesca Bridal gown and veil. The princess bride and her queen mother! – thanks to Francesca, Cara, Tori, Elle, Sandra and Gana. We are forever grateful and we will be back! xo

After our first appt, I knew she would make me look good on my wedding day because she'd make sure that tailoring was impeccable, that the correct undergarments were worn, that the bustle worked for my rear, and that ultimately, I got a dress that worked for me, which can be easier said than done. It's hard to put into words, but it was very clear to me that selling a dress was not Francesca's first goal, and just like that, she had my trust. The only wrench in this blissful account? I, picky as ever, didn't love any of the dresses that I saw at the boutique that first day. I tried a few on, kept an open mind, but nothing left me feeling like it should be the most important dress of my life. I was stuck. I knew I wanted to work with Francesca over the next few months, but I also knew I wanted a dress I felt excited about. What I didn't realize was that she is getting in new stock all the time. It's a very small but very steady trickle. Francesca told me what she had coming down the pipeline that she thought would interest me, and we set up another appointment. It turns out the dress I ultimately got was one of those shipments though it took me a long time to decide. She was incredibly patient with me and never held a timeline over my head that I was x amount of time out from our date. One of the things I most appreciated about her calm and cool demeanor was that since she knew me and my intent at that point, she'd allow me to shop in without an appointment just to go through her racks one by one to revisit my B-list and to check for new things. This did a lot for my own peace of mind. This is why I kept circling back to Francesca's after visiting multiple shops in the Balt & Wash areas. I could go on and on about specific examples of the time and personal dedication I received from Francesca's but one little above and beyond example I've thought of multiple times since the big day really highlights the custom experience you get at Francesca's should you become a customer. My pregnant bridesmaid came in to learn how to bustle my dress just over a week before the big day. My wedding coordinator insisted that I get written instructions or a diagram just in case. My bustle was not a simple pull-it-out and button-it-on. It wasn't typical at all. When my dress and veil were delivered to my mom's house, so too was a step-by-step diagram complete with an actual photograph with each step. Handmade? Yes. Time-consuming? I'm sure. Effective and stress-reducing? Most definitely. And of course, things did not go as smoothly as they did in the boutique , and that diagram came to the rescue. After also being so pleasantly surprised with our experience, my mom didn't hesitate to get her own MOB dress from Francesca's other boutique, the Atelier. My very particular sister also ended up getting her gown there too. Just like working with Kara and Francesca, hearing about them working with Tori at the Atelier was another no-pressure, relaxed, but highly professional experience. Now, I'm looking forward to my sister getting married just so I can have the excuse to interact with this family and fabulous group of professionals again. They are true gems in this area, and Baltimore is lucky to have them.

I bought my dress here and my groomsmen even obtained their tuxs at this location. Kara is always available whenever you call. I just completed my fitting today and I am in awe with my Eddy K gown. They helped me select it, gave recommendations on shoes and I even purchased my hair attire here. I can't wait the big day and I thank you ( Francsaca) for making this a memorable stressless process!

I promptly made my appointment to go back the next day and order the dress that I could not stop thinking of from the day before. Kara and Francesca were able to help me put the whole outfit together with a beautiful veil and belt. I would definitely recommend visiting this salon.

Her seamstress does an amazing job and worked with Lindsay to find the perfect fit. They also made adjustments to the train putting in hooks so it can be removed after the ceremony. The salon is beautiful and most of all calm. It feels like you are a guest in someone's home and not part of a bridal gown mill. I highly recommend Francesca's as the place to find your perfect gown and have a wonderful and memorable experience.

I had four alterations in two weeks as I had lost weight and Francesca's team made me feel comfortable and my dress was exactly as I wanted it to be. They are all wonder women. Francesca was also able to find the perfect earrings to match the beaded design on the back of the dress. I would highly recommend Francesca's Bridal if you are looking for a relaxing, fun, special wedding dress experience.

I never felt rushed or pushed to make a purchase (like I did at some other stores). Even after I bought my dream dress, the follow up customer service was incredible. I didn't feel like just another client. And they were fantastic all the way up to the wedding day with tailoring, shoe ideas and any question I had. These women are not only knowledgeable about dresses- It was the perfect place to go for this first time nervous bride. I can't recommend Francesca's more.
