My partner and I wanted a wedding where we could be truly ourselves and FruitCraft helped us do just that! We wanted a very natural look - which was perfect with the plants and gorgeous farm tables- with quality drinks and great food. Anna and Alan helped us create an all vegan menu with their staff. They were so open and understanding that we wanted something vegan but still delicious for our guests. The vegan food options were fantastic, offering a delicious variety that pleased all our guests. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. We really wanted to find a venue that was unique and had really good cocktails. Our family & friends love going to distilleries and wineries so we wanted to wow them but still find something that was us. We loved the gorgeous plants and just the general feel of the space, it made us feel so welcomed! The bar at FruitCraft had a great range of wines and cocktails made from different fruits, which gave our guests lots to talk about and kept them on the dance floor all night. Our guests loved the tasty and refreshing drinks, which were a big hit all night. The venue's focus on quality and trying new things was clear in their drink choices. If you want a wedding with amazing and memorable drinks, FruitCraft is a great pick. I totally recommend it!

When we saw Fruitcraft's Get Ready Room with its Instagrammable walls, we were sold! The colorful and fun walls added a unique touch to the venue, making it perfect for capturing beautiful photos. Our wedding with FruitCraft was absolutely amazing. We fell in love with the beautiful plants in the space which was perfect because we didn't want to spend too much of our budget on decor. When we went for a tour we couldn't believe how amazing the drinks and food were. We booked on the spot and we are so glad we did! The planning process was easy, they provided lots of options and were transparent with pricing. We also added their DJ and photographer. They were both great the day of the wedding. We ended up selecting the taco bar because we wanted to treat our out of town guests to a taste of San Diego. The drinks are also so good! It was so nice for our guests to try the different options all night. A genuine thank you to the staff who made our wedding so special!

We were looking at venues for a few months before we found FruitCraft. We didn't really know what to expect but once we toured we fell in love! We knew we were in good hands when Alan the sales person tried to save us money on services they offered. FruitCraft went above and beyond for us. We were originally only going to have a reception but when we found out our ceremony site wasn't going to be available, Alan helped us with booking their outdoor space for our ceremony. We didn't even realize how stressful it would've been to have a ceremony and reception in separate places but on the day of, we were super appreciative that this was able to happen. They truly exceeded our expectations. On the big day, the staff took excellent care of us and our guests. Food and beverages were simply the best. Our guests raved about the drinks! We're so grateful for the unforgettable experience and we can't wait to go back and relive our moments in the place where we said our "I do's”

We booked FruitCraft before even seeing the venue 2 years before our wedding. We live in New York but grew up in San Diego and knew we wanted to celebrate there. We knew we wanted a space that was relaxed for all of our guests. We loved all the greenery and just the overall vibe of the space. Alan was so helpful in answering our questions, which we had ALOT since we were planning from another state. When we finally saw the venue it was even better than the photos! Day of their staff took such great care of us and our guests. We chose the Mediterranean chicken skewers for our dinner and of course had to do the full bar package. The drinks were an experience for our guests and everyone kept telling us how good everything was! We can't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else. Cant wait to visit in the future <3

We loved everything about FruitCraft! The venue was beautiful and the staff took such great care of us. We are vegans and live a pretty healthy lifestyle and wanted that same experience for our guests on our wedding day. and wanted an all vegan wedding which during the booking process they assured us it was going to be possible. They created a custom vegan menu for us based on our favorites - ceviche, pastas and delicious vegan dessert bar! They were so flexible with us which really made us trust them to create the best day for us.

For our wedding, we were looking for a unique venue that could fit our 115 guests and bring our dream vision to life, and FruitCraft nailed it! What really drew us in was the space. The plants are gorgeous and all the details/vendors made it so easy to select decor. This was a huge help for us because we didn’t want to be stuck planning lots of little details leading up to our wedding. We also included their bridal suite in our plan, and it was one of the best decisions. Getting ready with my bridesmaids was a blast, and the minimalist-chic decor set the mood for some memorable pre-wedding shots with my mom and sisters. What really relieved our stress was the assistance we got from start to finish. Having onsite food and drinks took a load off our planning stress. We chose FruitCraft because their catering team went above and beyond for us! There were a few Indian dishes that my family wanted, and they were able to deliver on it! This was not on the menu, but they truly accommodated us. Their efforts to include these dishes added such a personalized touch to our celebration. We knew if they could deliver on something like this, they would be able to give us the wedding we wanted. Their team was on top of everything the day of. We truly felt like we didn't have to worry about anything. From the DJ, florals, cake etc everything came together so well! Our guests kept complimenting the food, venue and drinks. We honestly can't imagine having had our big day anywhere else!

Still reminiscing about our magical day at FruitCraft! They have a love patio with picture-perfect tropical vibes that was the perfect romantic environment for our ceremony! We had 125 guests and were more than happy to find a venue that could fit all of our guests for both the ceremony and reception. We also loved the catering options and had chosen their gorgeous grazing charcuterie and mediterranean style chicken skewers which all of our guests loved. They even packed some for me and Michael to take home at the end of the night which was the sweetest thing and was sooo perfect to enjoy back at our hotel! Anna and her staff went out of their way to make our vision come true, their attention to detail made the whole process stress-free. They truly made our day unforgettable!

One of the things that made us choose Fruitcraft is because of its exterior ceremony space and the beautiful interiors for our wedding reception. The light on both sides was so romantic! The hanging plants in every space are just gorgeous. We couldn't resist taking tons of photos everywhere. Fruitcraft went above and beyond my expectations for our wedding day! My mom had a horrible car accident a month before our wedding and Alan and his staff were so patient and accommodating with us. I’m so thankful we were able to move on as scheduled. The night went so smoothly. The food was amazing. The florist and dj recommended by the venue were beyond perfect. The new bridal suite was also a great addition and I highly recommended adding it to your day!

We LOVED our wedding at Fruitcraft. I'd had my eye on the venue since before I was even engaged—I loved the lush plant interior meshed with the clean, modern aesthetic. I also loved how unique the bar offerings were. To my pleasant surprise, when the time came to actually plan our wedding, Fruitcraft was hands down the most affordable venue we considered. We ended up having a 50-person wedding in late March 2023 and we couldn't be happier. Alan was great to work with. In particular, we were impressed that he never tried to upsell us during the process—in fact, he tried to find ways to help us trim our budget while still getting what we wanted. That is so hard to come by in the wedding industry! Decor details: It is a gorgeous venue and you don't need much outside decor. Plants and lights everywhere. The only decor we had during the outdoor ceremony was a plant garland arch from the venue... it is so pretty and luscious out there that you don't need to spend money on flowers. For the interior during the reception, we had mini bouquets (fake) and LED votives. So easy to put together ahead of the ceremony. No need for outside vendors, in my opinion! Food and drink: both soooo good! We didn't do a food tasting ahead of time, so we were pleasantly surprised that the food was very tasty (we heard the same from our guests). We served the salmon and the pesto pasta, which we were able to make vegetarian. We also had a charcuterie appetizer and we heard from guests it was good (never got to taste it ourselves, haha). The drinks were obviously awesome and are one the main reasons we chose Fruitcraft. Our guests loved sampling the unique items on the menu.... the eau de vie cocktails were a hit, as was the pomegranate-cherry wine. The manager gave us a complimentary bottle on our way out :) Space details: We were able to use the bridal suite which had just been built.... it was so nice to have a place to freshen up, take a breath, etc, on our wedding day. Highly recommend that option! In closing, if you want a very elegant wedding for a very reasonable price in a very central location..... go to Fruitcraft! 10/10 would recommend!

We usually do not provide reviews, but in this case, it would be a complete disservice if we didn’t take the time to recognize the exceptional service provided by Anna for our wedding at Fruitcraft. Our wedding took place in Oct 2022, so this review is certainly long overdue, and we couldn’t wait any longer to let everyone know why Anna and Fruitcraft are the very best option for your next wedding. From the moment we reached out, the staff was attentive and we were immediately impressed on how open they were with our hectic schedule since we lived out of town (Seattle, WA). Once we toured the facility, we immediately fell in love with the simplistic décor to the outdoor space (LOVE sign). We loved everything about this place, but the person who made our experience seamless was Anna. We cannot thank her enough for her professionalism, attention to detail and timeliness. Leading up to the event, she made sure the Bride was calm and available for any last-minute questions and concerns. Anna went out of her way to make us and our families feel welcomed (even when our families were not being the most cooperative). Once the special day arrived, I couldn’t express how much we needed Anna. There were multiple hiccups on our end from forgetting the rings, the marriage license, officiant forgetting his speech and so many more. The guests wouldn’t have known because Anna kept us all calm, cool and collected. We can honestly say this was the best day of our lives. Again, thank you so much Anna for all that you provided leading up to the wedding and of course the special day itself. We wouldn’t have been able to keep it together without you.

This place was the hidden gem of our dreams! We weren't sure what to expect because we were planning our wedding from Colorado way before we moved to San Diego and were only going off of their website and the knot. We did a virtual tour with Alan and even through that we knew this was the venue for us. We toured the space a few months after when we were in town and we were so happy we booked FruitCraft! The major things that won us over was how beautiful the space was, friendly staff, good food and drinks at the tour and prompt responses from Alan. We are HUGE cocktail fans and fell in love with their unique cocktails especially the old fashioned and mule. As a distillery, FruitCraft makes their own cocktails/drinks which was such a fun addition to our day. Our family and friends are still raving about the drinks after the wedding! We wanted a place that we could just show up and enjoy the day and FruitCraft did just that for us! Their staff took care of everything and we couldn't be more grateful + it was such a good value! Anna was our coordinator and she handled our vendors through FruitCraft and made sure everything flowed smoothly for us throughout the night. She even took care of our family throughout the night which was such a special touch and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our day! The bar and catering staff were also amazing to us! We absolutely adore FruitCraft! It is truly a one-of-a-kind place that gave us all the feels on our wedding day! It's the perfect mesh of modern, minimalist, and plant vibes. Anna is an incredibly sweet soul, and you can see all the thoughtfulness she put into our big day - from calming my nerves before walking down the aisle to keeping up with our families throughout the night - she was key in keeping our day together for us. The additions of the vendors- bar, catering, dj, florals makes it exactly what we wanted for our stress free wedding day! Our guests still tell us what a great time they had and it wouldn't be possible without FruitCraft’s team!

There aren't enough stars in the sky to let you know how amazing this place is. I highly recommend this venue. First, the food is incredibly delicious. Our guests kept telling us (even days after) how amazing the food was. we chose the vegan taco bar and the pulled pork sliders. Second, planning with them is simple and easy. Anna and Alan are communicative and accomodating. Third, the venue itself is GORGEOUS! My husband and I fell in love with the venue decor then we were sold once we tried the food. Once again, our guests kept complimenting how beautiful the venue was. The day of, the staff knew what they were doing and they were so attentive. Brandon was our lead and he really took care of us. Seeing that we were focused on our guests, he brought us our food, drinks, and desert. He also kept checking in to see if we needed anything. You won't regret booking this venue.

I had my wedding reception here and--wow!! What an incredible experience!! When selecting our venue, we met with Alan (the owner) who was really friendly and straightforward with information. Once we had our initial quote and paid the deposit, we worked with Anna (the event manager), who was wonderful every step of the way. There are of course a ton of little details that go into this type of event, but they really made it all come together and the day-of was fantastic. The weekend of our event was a hurricane (in San Diego lol), but they were super proactive about alternatives and options, and we ended up staying dry and it all went well. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. We got tons of compliments on the venue/live-edge tables/gorgeous plants, food, and drinks from our guests. Aside from all the choices that go into wedding planning which are inherently stressful, they made it really easy by being all-inclusive.

JUST BOOK IT! My wife and I cannot say enough good things about the amazing experience we had working with Fruitcraft for our wedding. From the start and throughout the process Alan and Anna were so kind and made themselves available for us at all times. We had a million questions that they always took the time to answer each one of them. What we loved most is how close this venue was to being an "all inclusive". The fact that our package covered our ceremony, reception, food & drinks, and even decor made our wedding day a breeze, especially since we didn't have a coordinatator. Being that the venue is in Hillcrest, we worried a little about parking but none of our guests had any issues with parking at the DMV the day of. Our guests LOVED the food and drinks as well as how beautiful the venue was. Fruitcraft exceeded all of our expectations and made our wedding planning such a smooth process. If we had to get married again we'd 10000% book with Fruitcraft every single time!

We live in the neighborhood and have watched this place grow into an event venue. It’s been our favorite place to hang out and we walked in on a random day just to see if we could see pricing of the space. Anna was there preparing for another event but gave us a quick walkthrough. The plants and just the overall vibe won us over. We ended up having our wedding here in August 2022 and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. It was so amazing to walk from our home to our wedding and have everything ready for us, especially all the food & drinks we used to love! Staff were pleasant and timely. We chose their team for bar, catering, glassware, DJ, photography, coordination and flowers, which were all reasonably priced. They did the set up and breakdown of everything they included in my package which actually gave us time to relax on our wedding day. Their team were always ready to help and my friends and family felt well taken care of. All of their vendors were personable and great at what they do. I would recommend getting Anna as a coordinator if you have lots of decorations or DIY. Our day was perfect!

My husband and I are so happy with how our wedding turned out! Alan and his team were so accommodating after we had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID. On the day of, Anna was instrumental in making sure everything was set up so that we didn't have to worry about anything. The venue is so beautiful, we only brought flowers for our tables. All of our guests loved the food (we did the taco buffet!) and raved about all the amazing plants in the venue. We 10/10 recommend booking FruitCraft for your wedding!

My wife and I were so happy with the venue for our wedding on April 30, 2022. We wanted a simple but elegant location for our reception on April 30, 2020 and were all set to go, but with the pandemic , we had no choice but to postpone. The venue was able to accommodate us by allowing us to postpone for 2 years for a small fee. In the grand scheme of things, it could have cost us so much more at any other venue to get all the individual vendors and coordinate that all ourselves. It was less stressful to have it all in one place. Fruitcraft had the food, drinks, staff, DJ, and even photo booth. It had everything we were looking for and we, as well as our guests, had a blast. Anna, the event coordinator, was so attentive and kind. We were especially interested in the venue for the fact that our dog could be with us, as he was part of our wedding party, which was extremely important to us. The staff was nice and we loved the space. Everyone loved the food and drinks. We even had time to enjoy some of the food and drink ourselves! My only critique would be the separate charge for tea and coffee, which I don’t think enough people had. There were also a lot of “a la carte” charges that added up, ie. renting tables, decorations, cutting utensils for our own cake, etc. that I understand are done so for individual preference. We also only had 30 minutes to setup the few items we brought, which was thankfully minimal considering the short setup window. Other than that, we couldn’t have asked for a better venue and space for our much anticipated, and long awaited, special day. FruitCraft is a stylish event space with delicious fruit wines and cocktails distilled in-house. When my then fiancé and I toured FruitCraft, there were many reasons we instantly fell in love with FruitCraft for our wedding! When it came to first impressions, FruitCraft was an oasis of green within the arts district of Hillcrest: it was easy to mistake the sleek white building off University & Richmond with a garden, only to realize it’s the immenseness of fresh greenery along the walls of the FruitCraft venue. With so much wedding costs inevitably going towards flowers, our budget and vision agreed with the minimal decor required to enhance FruitCraft’s existing space; we invested in a few pops of color to highlight our wedding theme, but otherwise the venue is gorgeous and photogenic as-is. The FruitCraft team created a smooth and easy-to-plan event; we valued being able to spend more time on our friends & family and less time on strenuous event coordinating. The more we got to know Fruitcraft as a venue, the more we knew it was truly the perfect way to express our love for San Diego to our guests. Location is excellent: within easy walking distance of the Hillcrest Farmer's Market, the iconic Hillcrest Pride Flag, Forbes 2021 Best Brunch's Great Maple – FruitCraft offered a seamless way to introduce our guests to the quaint and eccentric style that we love about Hillcrest San Diego. I went to college in a small town, so for several of my guests, my wedding was their first time visiting America’s Finest City; it was hugely meaningful that I could impress them with FruitCraft’s central location. At the same time, many of my guests were anxious about parking in urban San Diego; luckily after business hours there was plenty of free parking at the DMV within 0.5mi of FruitCraft. Our dinner menu had something for everyone, while immersing our guests in Southern California cuisine. For our appetizers: a photogenic & varietal charcuterie board, a bright & fresh pesto pasta salad; for our main course – a chic taco bar that meat-lovers and vegetarians could both enjoy. We appreciated the flexibility of choosing from the FruitCraft dessert menu or bringing in from an outside dessert vendor; we opted for bringing in outside donuts, and it was super easy to set-up and serve to our guests. Between our engagement and now our marriage – each time my husband and I visited FruitCraft, it grew more comforting and emotional to see the plants grow with us – through all the trials and tribulations of the pandemic and then some! We will forever cherish celebrating our special day at FruitCraft, and would strongly recommend to anyone seeking a stylish garden in the heart of San Diego for their wedding venue!

Best day ever! My husband and I are so happy we chose FruitCraft for our wedding on 2.26.22. Both Alan and Anna were easy to work with and helped answer all of our planning questions leading up to the day. We held our ceremony at Balboa Park and our reception at FruitCraft. Our guests were in love with the space. FruitCraft's interior is magical in the evenings with the Edison lights, live greenery, glassware, high ceilings, and live edge wooden tables. Everyone was raving about the drinks! We chose the chicken skewers for the main course and paid extra to have a steak option as well as a vegan option and plated serving. My husband and I actually had time to enjoy and eat our food! It was so nice having the dessert and DJ included in our wedding package. DJ Marky was great and listened to our music preferences. We chose to have a small cake plus a cupcake tower, which was delicious! We highly recommend FruitCraft as a wedding venue and are looking forward to going back there on our anniversary to reminisce about our special day.

If I could live my wedding day over and over I totally would because I actually got to enjoy it! FruitCraft is literally the perfect place for a wedding - pretty plant decor, neon lights & modern feel to the space with great food (we had the vegan taco bar) and delish drinks (mules all night) ! We had our ceremony & reception there for 90 guests. Everything was easy from booking with Alan to Anna making sure we had what we needed for the food, drinks, cake, timeline, dj, table decor, ceremony backdrop, and coordinator. We used all of their vendors which was super simple because Anna kept in contact with them for us. Anna was also there at the wedding and was always ready to help. Our guests kept raving about everything and the music was soo good! I definitely recommend FruitCraft and their vendors if you want a no fuss gorgeous wedding.

While our actual wedding day was beautiful and the food was great, there were MANY issues and concerns I had leading up and on the wedding day. The four emails I sent with questions took at minimum a 72+ hour response turnaround time. Anna, the venue coordinator, was curt via email and unwilling to compromise with my wedding planner, our mariachi band or our DJ. We were allotted 60 minutes of setup time, which according to wedding standards is unusually short. When my planner arrived, Anna denied her access to drop off items while they parked. Requesting to enter 15 minutes earlier, we were told would be a $500 addition, albeit the venue being empty as our was the only event on that day. Any inquiry or request was met with a rude response from Anna. We had a mariachi band for the cocktail hour- from 6-7pm. Anna wouldn’t allow the band outdoors to play for our recession, and refused to open the garage door to add additional air flow. Her reasoning for this was a noise ordinance, however San Diego’s noise ordinance begins at 10pm and in Hillcrest there is plenty of music to be heard outdoors. We had tequila favors which were near the exit and meant to be taken as guests left. Anna removed them, without notice, and began dumping out favors she deemed as ‘opened’. When asked about it, she lied to my face and claimed “ I don’t have time for that”. Anna’s decision to move the favors so guest wouldn’t consume them during the reception was fine. However, this was expensive tequila and the disposal of the bottles was uncalled for and the lying indefensible. As I said the venue is gorgeous, there’s no question about that. However Anna’s professionalism, demeanor, communication, and customer service were severely lacking. Working with Anna was largely disappointing and frustrating. Considering she is the only point person to work with, this was a huge downfall of our wedding experience.

FruitCraft turned out to be the PERFECT venue for our wedding!!! It made me glad our original venue canceled all events because I don’t think our wedding would have been as great as it was had it been hosted anywhere else. We did a quick ceremony here and reception followed after. The whole space is beautiful and I received a lot of compliments on it despite having pretty much 0 decorations of my own. I am definitely a lazy Type A- bride… didn’t worry about decorations at all because of all the greenery this place has. However, there’s lots of room for personalization and decorations if you’re into that. Staff was super helpful all around. Alan was easy to work with in creating a quote that was suitable for us. He always answered emails and calls right away. Anna also helped in answering all questions. On the night of our event, she was always easy to find at the venue and made sure our event went without a problem. She also made sure I always had a drink in hand haha :) We did all of our food and beverage through FruitCraft. We also hired our DJ, also through the venue. This place made wedding planning EASY. If you’re looking for an easy going, affordable venue, look no further. FruitCraft is the place to go.

This place had it all and fulfilled all my dreams of boho wedding with tons of greenery. Anna and Alan were wonderful to work with. The food was amazing and they made everything so easy. Would totally recommend this venue!

What can we say about planning a covid wedding? We were engaged December 2020 and didn't mean to find our venue so quickly, but it was just perfect! Budget friendly with so many added bonuses. Unfortunately, our reschedule dates of August and December did not go as planned in 2021. Alan and Anna were there to help us pivot every step of the way. They were VERY CLEAR about the non-refundable policy they have, so we have no qualms with any of that. We knew what we had signed up for and it was fair. We saw it as layaway funds for a future celebration - and that's just what it turned out to be! They helped us reallocate our ceremony/larger guest count funds into the perfect belated reception event. The food is great (we had the taco bar), and the wine is so good! Our open bar set up didn't originally include their seasonal cranberry (which I love), but they were kind enough to add it on the menu anyway. I was elated and it was all I drank that day. Wearing white and risking drinking red - that's how you know the wine is good! The space is pretty much perfect as is. Couples pay tons of money for neon signs, lounge seating, photo walls, and florals/greenery, but this place already has it all! Not to mention the beautiful live edge tables that give it so much more warmth than a plain linen round table could. Their outdoor space is picture perfect for any event or photo shoot. We would highly recommend them for an event/wedding space in San Diego!

We felt so lucky to have booked Fruitcraft, because our wedding night was perfect. The venue was so beautiful that we only had to get a few decorations for the reception tables (garlands and candles). The ceremony on the back patio was decorated so nicely that we didn’t need to add any decorations at all. The open atmosphere surrounded by lively plants and modern decor created a picture perfect backdrop for our night. We were able to purchase the photobooth, DJ, food, and drinks from Fruitcraft so it made planning our day so relaxing. Everything was priced reasonably, simple to book, and Fruitcraft executed each flawlessly. Plus being able to just walk into the reception from the ceremony made for a smooth transition. We were able to buy a little extra time beforehand to take pictures so we could enjoy cocktail hour with our guests. Multiple guests and family members said how it was one of their favorite weddings they have been to! Alan and Anna were extremely accommodating and responsive to our questions and requests.  The DJ “Marky” we booked through Fruitcraft was extremely helpful, reasonably priced, and performed beyond our expectations. Everyone was dancing and loving the playlist right up until the last song. He picked out excellent songs from the genres we selected on his provided spreadsheet. We as well as all our guests were delighted with the taco bar, appetizers, and wide variety of delicious drinks. Our families have even gone back to enjoy more of their tasty drink options. The photobooth was a hit, and photos were sent directly to us a few days later. We highly recommend Fruitcraft as the venue for any events, and especially for weddings.

We had our wedding here in September 2021 and it was perfect for us! The event space was so lovely and Alan was the most helpful vendor on the planet. He made all our in-person meetings leading up to the wedding so easy and wonderful. The venue is as beautiful in person as in photos. Everyone raved about the food and drinks. We appreciated that we were only paying for what we needed andused. There wasn't a fee to just have the space. The pricing was super amazing for the food quality you get, and the drinks were so unique! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a small, laid-back wedding.

I had my wedding here October 21st 2021 , we loved it! they pretty much do most things, bar , food , table chairs , the venue is rustic and beautiful! I didn't feel any additional decorations were needed! all I had to do was provide the cake and show up 😁 prices are very reasonable and they were very accommodating , helpful and kind to our guests!! Alan & Anna are awesome and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VENUE!

BEST EVENT SPACE TEAM EVER! First, if you are going to have an intimate wedding, its the perfect space. Gorgeous and modern urban garden type of venue. Second, Alan and Anna were an awesome team to work with. They helped my husband and I feel so guided and stress free, we knew they would take care of us. You could tell the team just genuinely cared to make sure the wedding turned out great. Lastly but not the least, on the day of the wedding, they took care of small details we didn't even think of. For example, my husband is on the taller side, they made sure to lift the lighting a tad higher so there would no chance of hitting it. Food and drinks flowed elegantly without delay. Everything was on schedule and all of our guests had a great time! We were so glad that we had Alan and Anna on our team for our special day!

Jason and I hosted a small wedding reception at Fruit Craft in their outdoor space and we were completely blown away! We loved everything that was provided considering we planned the whole thing via email during the end of the pandemic. Before COVID came, we were fortunate to have a tasting and everything was very fun with natural wines and food without the pricey costs. Ana and Alan were very thorough with their communication and provided the best experience for all our guests. We hosted approximately 80 people and had nothing but great feedback from everyone. This is a perfect setting for small and intimate weddings in beautiful San Diego. Very happy with the outcome and would recommend 100%! :)

With the pandemic and our previous venue closing for good, my wife and I were forced to have a smaller celebration for our family and friends. We were looking for a venue that could do many things in house and we found Fruitcraft while doing a google search for micro weddings. My wife loved the venue itself since she loves plants, which are literally everywhere in this venue and made our photos look great. I have a sensitivity to alcohol but I still like to drink so I like that their drinks were made in house with good ingredients. They took care of the food, drinks, setup and we only had to worry about flowers and getting everyone there. We both loved that our guests felt taken care of by Anna and her staff and that everyone felt comfortable because of the extra sanitation steps they are taking for Covid. Since we already had lost money with our previous venue going out of business, it was great that Alan helped us piece together an affordable wedding that still felt great to us and our family. I definitely recommend checking them out if you're looking for something well priced and nice in the city.

This place is a gem, hidden or not. The greenery is why we looked into this venue, and the fun vibes and intimate space are why we chose it. The food and drink packages took that much more off of planning, and it’s a great deal, and super tasty to boot! As a COVID bride, circumstances are already difficult for everyone to work with. But Alan and Anna of Fruitcraft have been so responsive and helpful throughout all of the stress, back-up planning, and changes. I kept getting compliments throughout the whole night in the space. They’re pretty strict on time limitations, so having a good team to help with setup and breakdown might be a good idea (we DIY’d a lot, so a bit stressful). Fun, adorable, amazing.

My fiance and I had to reschedule our wedding from May 2020 to September 2021 and the whole experience made us happy we had chosen FruitCraft. During a time when no one knew what the future held, Alan gave us as many options as he could. He gave us time to make a decision to reschedule and even offered us multiple Saturdays as that was important to us. Alan was collaborative and responsive. We’ve continued to plan the day with Anna who has also been a big help with phone calls/video chat since we aren’t able to physically go to the venue as much. I’m so excited for our friends and family to have a reason to celebrate with us in September and so happy that FruitCraft can still provide the same aspects for my then May wedding to my now September wedding!

From the very beginning, the staff at FruitCraft were so welcoming and helpful. My husband and I were looking for somewhere that would take care of everything for us, for a reasonable price. We didn’t care about the nitty gritty details, we just wanted somewhere beautiful and charming where we could celebrate with our family and friends. FruitCraft was the perfect place. We had our ceremony in the morning in their outdoor event space, and the reception in their newly renovated venue area. Anna made sure that both areas were perfectly set up for us and our guests, and the whole place was just beautiful and we didn’t have to bring any decorations at all! The entire venue is filled with plants and lots of natural lighting, the drinks were delicious and refreshing, and the guests (and ourselves!) really enjoyed the taco bar. All of our pictures (both iPhone and professional pictures) turned out SO good with all the natural lighting, and it seemed like every corner of FruitCraft acted as a perfect backdrop. We wanted a string quartet to play at our ceremony, and FruitCraft was very accommodating and made sure they had their own space that worked well with the flow of the ceremony. We were also able to make our own playlist and plug in our computer into their built-in PA system for music throughout the reception. They provided microphones, a projector, set up/clean up, and everything we needed for our big day. Our wedding was the last wedding they had before the whole world shut down, and I really hope other couples can experience a perfect wedding day with FruitCraft when life goes back to normal!

We had our destination wedding back in January and we are really happy we chose FruitCraft! We were looking for a beautiful venue that fit our budget and all of our guests needs. We had an open bar because they literally have every drink you can think of in one place! We also chose the taco bar, which was a hit with our family and friends. Anna helped us with all the selections and answered my million questions (thank you!!) during our phone calls. We will definitely be back after all of this craziness over!
