Buckle in because this review is going to take you for a ride. I'm going to be as honest as I can here. I was incredibly disappointed with hiring Full Circle DJs. The DJ that was originally hired had to cancel out but he did find us a replac...ement. So far so good. The replacement (his good friend) he found was either late or didn't show up to every scheduled phone call. The meetings kept getting pushed back to the point our last meeting was the day before the wedding. Talk about unnecessarily adding stress to a bride. First red flag. The big day came and while getting my makeup done I received a phone call. It was the DJ. Apparently the photo paper for the booth we rented was misplaced and there wouldn't be any photos. I was offered 3 options. Option 1 - photo booth with USB photos. Option 2 - no photo booth and full refund. Option 3 - uplighting. I picked option 1 as guests were expecting a photo booth and it was better than nothing. Now in this review response they will tell you they offered me a discounted rate for the lack of photo paper and I declined the refund. Now does that sound like something anyone would do? No, it doesn't. Because it didn't happen. But alas, I'll continue. The music was ok, good at times, bad at times. People danced and even without the takehome photos, they enjoyed having the photo booth. We thanked and tipped everyone and the night was over. Several days later, still annoyed about the photo booth issue I reached out to the owner telling him about the issue I had. He did not believe me. I was told that I turned down the refund that was offered and said not to worry about the money. I was accused of fishing for a refund and that I had buyer's remorse. I was told I must have been too nervous or too busy while little old me was getting my hair done so I must have forgotten details of the conversation. I was however, offered a 25% discount for the future. I'll admit. I laughed out loud. Now that you've heard my side, I'm sure you will hear the other side. You will hear that I turned down an initial refund and after the wedding I decided I wanted a refund. You'll hear that I threatened to write a bad review if I didn't get a refund (I didn't do that). You'll hear that "everyone went up to the DJ and said how good the music was" (nobody did that). You'll probably hear that we tipped him so the service must have been good (we tipped everybody). I reached out because I did believe a small refund was in order because of the lack of take-home photos, that was the point of the photo booth. That would have been the right thing to do. Not insist that it was offered, we turned it down (again, who turns down a refund, no one does) and then insinuate we were just fishing for money. That is not how a professional operates a business, even if they believe they are right.
