Rodney provided his violin playing gift as well as DJ magic for our son's wedding a few years ago and when our daughter got engaged the first thing we did was contact Rodney...all hoping he would be available. We cannot thank Rodney enough or put into words how perfect HE specifically made our wedding day. My husband and I had seen Rodney at a wedding three years ago (before we were even engaged) and instantly knew we had to have him as our DJ when we got married one day. We even had an issue in our wedding planning where my husband and I had to change our wedding date at the last minute - but we would only lock in a new date that Rodney could attend. Rodney puts his entire heart and soul into his sets. His violin skills are out of this world. He is extremely personable, well prepared, kind, and professional. We had a second Lebanese DJ that he worked alongside with, and everything was well executed and perfect. We have gotten incredible feedback about Rodney (as we knew we would). Quotes like, "The violin was the coolest thing I have ever seen at a wedding", "The energy Rodney brought was unmatched and something I have never experienced at a wedding", "Best wedding DJ EVER!" I cannot speak highly enough about Rodney Page! He perfectly blended the music from dinner into dancing and kept everyone on their feet all night long - even those who don't dance. By the end of the night, Rodney was rapping and dancing on the dance floor with everyone. It has been 6 weeks and people still tell me how amazing he was! I had seen Rodney perform at a friend’s wedding the year before my wedding. I feel incredibly lucky for this, because it is so difficult to know what kind of DJ you are hiring unless you see them for yourself. Rodney is a hidden gem in Michigan. Not only is he a phenomenal DJ who is kind, communicative, and talented….but he is also an incredible violinist and performer! What Rodney does is truly unique – he plays electric violin to hits including pop/rap. The crowd goes WILD for it because it is such a hype time and is totally unexpected. He does a great job at interacting with the guests and involving everyone. It made for an awesome time for the crowd at my friend’s wedding …and it did so for my wedding as well! In addition to the DJ’ing, MC’ing, and performance at the reception, Rodney also played violin during my ceremony, which added a romantic and sentimental touch to our ceremony. We really cared about people being high energy, fun, and letting loose. Rodney got everyone dancing - from all different ages and walks of life. He was worth every single penny and more!

We had to postpone our daughter's wedding one week before it was scheduled to happen due to Covid-19. Rodney was wonderful during the two year waiting process. He is an exceptional violinist, MC and DJ. Our guests could not stop talking about how great Rodney was! He is also a terrific rapper and human being! You will not be disappointed!

Rodney is the best! With COVID limiting my wedding guest count to 25, I was worried that no one would be dancing. Hiring Rodney was one of the best decisions I made to ensure my guests and I had an amazing night. The dance floor was barely empty all evening and Rodney's skills DJing and playing the electric fiddle during the reception wowed my guests. Everyone in attendance could not stop talking about how amazing he was. His violin skills during the ceremony were equally as impressive and hiring him made my wedding an amazing event.

Hands down you will be so grateful and happy you chose Rodney Page. He's the MC who DJ's and plays violin , and sometimes, he will do them all, at the same time. We were blown away! To this day, we still receive compliments from our guests at our wedding. He was really memorable. Trust the process, Rodney delivers!

Rodney Page played at my wedding in October of 2019, and honestly I am still blown away! He has years of experience which show in the music he chooses (outside of the list he asks you to provide to him) and his organization of the reception events. He helped us with the flow of reception events during the planning phase, creating an evening that was smooth and entertaining at all points. One of the most entertaining points was the "Shoe Game." He had everyone (my husband and me included) smiling and laughing as my husband and I answered the questions. Definitely ask him about it! Highlight: Rodney plays the violin - He remixes old and new songs of any genre and moves around the reception space as he plays the violin to the songs. He also beat-boxes and made my husband and me a custom rap at the end of the night. My guests still talk to me about how much they loved Rodney! Bonus: He travels! If you have any special event that needs a DJ, book Rodney now! You won't regret it!

I first met Rodney Page last summer when he DJed my nephew’s wedding. I was sitting close to the front where I could see his table set up w/ his equipment. Rodney played a few songs and then he, unbeknownst to me or most in attendance, pulled out his Yamaha violin. While I can’t speak for anyone else, my head immediately turned, more likely neck snapped, to see where those melodious sounds were coming from that accompanied well known dance tunes. He had me mesmerized from the first note. I likely danced when Rodney DJed, however, I sat and enjoyed his “concert” when the violin came out. Due to an early flight the next morning I had to leave the reception early. I can’t tell you how sad that made me. But before doing so, I made sure to tell Rodney how much I enjoyed his music skills, both on the turntable as well as the talents displayed on the violin. I also asked for his business card as my son was to marry the following October 2019...just 10 days ago. Right then and there I was determined that he play at my son’s wedding, if at all possible. For the next 15 months I stayed in contact w/ Rodney. Upon returning home to IN, I called to discuss possible dates based on the wedding dates my son was floating. Once we locked on a date, Rodney walked me through the process of what “Full Engagement” offered. Was the cost more than say a regular DJ? Probably. But I really don’t know because he was the only one I was going to have at my son’s wedding reception if I could afford it. And I figured it out. Rodney was professional in every step of the way. He answered all my questions as a first time parent w/ a child getting married who was not the bride. (I have no daughters.) He talked to the couple throughout the 15 months, first at the beginning to give them things to think about, and of course closer to the wedding. If any one had a question Rodney would reply promptly either by text, phone call, or email. Rodney had a prior engagement out of town from our event the night before our reception. He drove in arriving sometime the next day, texted me to let me know he had arrived, and then set about doing what he needed to get done. I believe he also worked w/ the venue to ensure there would be no hiccups. I loved that Rodney was also the Master of Ceremonies for the evening and kept everything moving smoothly prior to the party portion. No detail was left to chance, he learned the pronunciation of each member of the wedding party, gave reminders to the bride/groom to engage w/ older guests as they may depart early. As for the party’s entertainment, Rodney exceeded my expectations and then some. My favorite parts of the evening were when he played amongst the dancers on the floor. In the words of Earth Wind & Fire, “Let’s GrooveTonight.” And groove we did...on the dance floor and in our seats. You’d have to see it to understand. And if that’s something that you don’t want him to do, he’d stay up front. Know that it doesn’t matter if you like hip-hop, techno, C&W, Top 40, etc. Rodney can both DJ it and accompany the music on violin. He can do it all. Everyone raved about Rodney and his Full Experience. Rodney came to party and entertain. And indeed he did both...all in the most personable and humbling of ways. As another reviewer wrote, “find the money and book him.” I’ll just add, do it NOW! Thank you, Rodney, for your professionalism and friendliness. If I can get you from MI, your home base, to TX in 2022 for my other son, I will!

Rodney DJed and played violin at our June 2, 2019 wedding at Planterra (West Bloomfield, MI). He far exceeded our already high expectations, and numerous friends and family members have told us how much they loved his style! He brought an element of entertainment to our dinner reception through his violin playing and was excellent at judging the crowd and what would get people on the dance floor later in the evening. Rodney is talented, kind, and fantastic at what he does. We would hire him again in an instant, and cannot recommend him more!!

When my husband and I attended a friend's wedding with Rodney DJing, we knew we wanted him to MC our wedding (and we weren't even engaged yet!). Rodney was easy to work with, super friendly and positive, and kept the energy going at our wedding. We got tons of compliments on his music, as well - our guests were so impressed! We loved that he played the violin along with the music too. Couldn't have been happier!

I would give Rodney 10 out of 5 stars if I could. He is exceptional at what he does! He is definitely a true musician. He played both the piano and violin during the processional at our wedding. He also played the violin during the dinner as he walked around the dinner tables... he surprised us and played the Michigan fight song on the violin! He was the most entertaining and interactive DJ I've ever encountered. He played instruments while playing popular dance music during our reception. We received many awesome compliments about him from our guests. We all loved him!

Look no further....Rodney is the BEST DJ around!!! It's hard to even call him a DJ because he is SO. MUCH. MORE. My husband was set on a band but after hearing and meeting Rodney, his mind was quickly changed. Rodney not only brought amazing music to our wedding, but was super unique, authentic and VERY easy to work with. He returns calls/emails very quickly and is one of the overall nicest people we have ever met. He brings a fun live entertainment aspect to the wedding and also MCs the entire reception. We have gotten SO many compliments on Rodney and continue to hear how amazing he was. Our wedding day WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THE SAME WITHOUT RODNEY!! Hire him!!!!!!!!!! He is incredible.

Rodney is such an incredible DJ and musician! He was willing to travel for my Holland, MI wedding and was super accommodating with song requests. During dinner, Rodney played violin and walked around the reception hall- it added a lot of elegance to the dinner. Then when it was time for dancing he really got the party started! He played a great variety of music and the majority of our guests were on the dance floor at some point in the night- some of my friends and relatives never stopped dancing! He was seriously the best thing about my wedding reception and my guests are still talking about the "really awesome DJ"that we had. He does it all- entertains, plays violin, DJ's, and even performs a rap about the bride and groom! I could go on and on about Rodney all day. Book him for your wedding- he is worth every penny!!

More than amazing! About Rodney: super engaging! About his work: just a piece of art!. From the selection of music, to the engagement with the party, to the super extras like playing electronic violin during dinner time, or make a rap for the honoring couple. We have a mix crow 25% argentinians (latin music, salsa, reggeaton, cumbia, electronic ) and 75% north americans (pop, hip hop, rap), he made it work in 1000%. All our people was dancing 6 hours NON STOP! it was great! Rodney made it work! we will totally recommend him again and again

To call Rodney just a DJ is the understatement of the century. He is one of the most talented and kindhearted individuals I've ever come across and he MADE our wedding. We, along with our guests, were in complete awe of him. His DJ skills are amazing - he definitely knows how to keep a party going! And then he does the unimaginable and whips out his electric violin. It is truly a sight and sound to behold. Not many people will ever get the opportunity to see/hear someone play the violin along to JT and Tupac. He also played and performed all of the music for our ceremony and made it so personalized and special for us. We feel so lucky and honored to have had him. Trust me when I say, he's the best.

Rodney was absolutely fantastic! He's a little pricier than most DJs in the area but worth every penny - he is also an orchestra conductor and will play his violin along with the music he plays at your reception. My first dance with my new husband was so memorable because he did a special violin solo to the songs we chose. Many of my guests stopped me throughout the night and asked me where I found this guy, he was the best DJ they had ever heard!

He's a family friend, and is excellent. Very professional, and went above and beyond. He's an award winning violinist and pianist (violin is his main instrument)
