w we pictured, and then some. They were excited to execute any special requests, whether that was playing specific songs, timing for different parts of the night, and especially walking us through the streets of Chicago led by their sax and trumpet. Amber and the rest of the band were so joyful when performing; it felt like they were genuinely happy to be such a big part of our day, which is all we can ask for. Thank you Funktastic!

quality performance, Funktastic partnered with us to make our wedding a memorable experience. The band can truly play any song and kept us dancing by jamming out to songs that kept everyone on their toes. Selecting the music and creating a curated setlist could not have been easier while the DJ'ing and photo booth were added crowd pleasers. We can't recommend this group enough!

ere so easy to work with and accommodated every single one of our asks. If you're in need of a wedding band, I would highly recommend the Funktastic team!!

nce floor active all night! Highly recommend.

everything went smoothly. They are professional and everyone commented how great the music was throughout the wedding! Many thanks to the entire team for the success- highly recommend!!!!

elmed and like every band sounded exactly the same. However, once we heard the folks at Funktastic we knew immediately they were for us. They worked hard to come up with a setlist that worked for us, were communicative about all the little things like ceremony and cocktail music that are sometimes easy to forget, and on the night of they absolutely killed the performance. It really wouldn't have been as special of a day without them providing the soundtrack for the night. Our friends and family couldn't stop gushing about how stellar they were. Can't recommend highly enough.

floor singing and choreography was the cherry on top! Everyone keeps talking about how amazing our band was we can’t stop smiling! Our goal for the wedding was fun, and this band BROUGHT IT! We even booked the instrumentals for our ceremony which was a special touch. We are so thankful Funktastic was available for our special night!! Every vendor we booked said how obsessed they were with our band, and we understand why! Thank you thank you!!!! BEST NIGHT EVER!! Pink pony club forever 💖🎤🎺🎸🎷 thank you beyond- Becky & Spencer!! We could not recommend this band more!

it. Worth every penny! Highly recommend if you want a fun dance floor!

that will keep the dance floor PACKED the entire night, BOOK THEM NOW! I'm still riding the high of my son's wedding this past weekend. I literally cried while speaking to the lead vocalist at the end of the night. I told her how much I loved our evening and it was because of them! The vocalists, musicians and sound engineers were insanely fabulous! It is now 3 days later and I still have friends and family raving about this band. They are so easy to work with as well. They take the time to listen to the bride and groom and really get a feel for the vision they have of how they want the night to be. Funktastic has a very extensive catalog of songs they know, and they are will to learn a few new ones for your event. We wanted the band members to interact with our guests and they did. The main vocalist came out onto the dance floor and the crowd went WILD! We had countless guests tell us they were the best wedding band they have ever heard! As my friends are now the age where their kids all start to get married, I will absolutely be encouraging them to book Funktastic. Thank you, Mike and the rest of Funktastic for giving us a night that we will never forget!

5-6 songs we asked for they only played 2. Which left some folks in our wedding party disappointed including me. Regardless, they were incredible and you’d be making a great choice hiring them

dancing. Mike was very helpful and responsive throughout the planning process as was Sirvaun as we talked through song choices and play lists. Despite some logistical hurdles such as some distance between ceremony and reception and a fairly small dance floor, but they were extremely professional and made it all work seamlessly. We received enthusiastic compliments about all parts of the Funktastic package from beginning to end. Guests talked about how good the strings and piano were throughout the ceremony and I loved what I heard through the adrenaline as well! The jazz trio was the perfect compliment for our cocktail hour and setting. DJ Sirvaun put on an amazing show and did a great job combining songs we wanted into an amazing mix. The accompanying saxophone took it to another level and had the whole room really into the music. Our wedding venue loved the combo so much they plan to recommend it to future weddings as an amazing option to future couples at their venue. We couldn’t agree more and we have absolutely no regrets about choosing Funktastic.

cked! They are the band you need for a fun wedding!

rew were wonderful in helping us plan and execute a killer setlist. They went hard and their musicianship is stellar. They were so kind to let me (the groom) sit in with them on a number and even learned a song I wrote for my wife and played it with me that night. It was truly a dream come true to do that, and I'm so thankful that they were open to the idea. Funktastic are just an all-around great and talented band who we found to be very accomodating, fun and great to work with. If you dig 60s soul/Motown especially, this is the band. Book em', you won't regret it.

hey started playing, they brought a vibrant energy to the room. They were soulful, upbeat and matched the tone of the event perfectly. So many of our guests came up to us throughout the evening (and even after!) to rave about how great the band sounded. They truly added something special to our celebration and helped make it unforgettable. If you're looking for a fun, soulful, talented, and high-energy group to bring your wedding or event to life, look no further. We’re so grateful we found them and that they made our night a blast!

nergy, talent, and professionalism they brought to every single set was unmatched. Our guests were blown away—and the dance floor was packed all night long. They nailed everything from our first dance to the final song of the night, with seamless transitions, great pacing, and a playlist that felt perfectly tailored to us. They knew exactly how to read the room and keep everyone—from our grandparents to our college friends—engaged and dancing. Beyond their musical ability (which was top-tier), they were also a dream to work with: responsive, kind, and totally organized in the lead-up to the event. They made us feel completely at ease, and their passion for what they do was so evident. We’ve had so many guests tell us it was the best wedding band they’ve ever heard—and we couldn’t agree more. If you're lucky enough to book them, do it. They made our night unforgettable.

dding asked for their info and said it was the best band they’ve ever seen at a wedding. They’re interactive, energetic and truly captivating. I’d work with them 10x over again - just plz stay in business for our future vow Renewal!!

performers. Our dance floor was packed the whole night, the energy was electric, and we could not have asked for more! We are so thankful for Mike and his entire team - they were so flexible with us and worked with us on every song we wanted to include. Completely went above and beyond! Would 100% recommend for your wedding!

t thank them enough 🩷

rry about anything. Everyone we communicated with at Funktastic was extremely easy to work with and very receptive to our requests. DJ Servaun also attended our final walk through at the venue which allowed us to feel totally confident that everything was in place for the day of. I would certainly recommend Funktastic to any future couples!

ct set list, it was all around a great experience. Mike was so responsive and genuinely just seemed so excited about our song selections. He suggested adding on a rapper and it was the best decision and only enhanced the evening. The talent of this band is unmatched and our guests could not stop raving about it!! Would recommend them to anyone who will listen.

during dinner, and the full 8-piece band for dancing, and every single musician was insanely talented. Amber, the MC, was a dream to work with—so organized and professional, and she has the voice of an angel. The band was also super flexible throughout the night. One of our favorite moments was when the horn section led a second line to transition guests from the ballroom to the pergola—it was so fun and unforgettable! We’d hire them again in a heartbeat.

and hip, and they absolutely exceeded expectations. Dancing to their cover of Big Pimpin is one of the most joyous moments of my life. On the other hand, they learned an oldie that's sentimental for our elders, and even nailed an Herb Alpert joint for our first dance. Thank you Funktastic!!!

nning, he was easy to work with and genuinely excited to bring our vision to life. What truly set the night apart was the live saxophonist, Ryan, playing over all of DJ Servaun's sets - such a cool, unforgettable twist that everyone enjoyed. The blend of live music with the high energy of the DJ mixes created an atmosphere that was electric from start to finish! Our guests still haven't stopped raving about Funktastic and team. The dance floor was packed all night and the energy never let up. It was exactly what we hoped for and more. DJ Servaun and team didn't just play music; they created a full-on experience. If you are looking for someone who can bring serious talent, creativity, and unforgettable energy to you wedding, book Funktastic and DJ Servaun!

-minute song we requested, accompanying my friends during their speech, and playing the funktastic-est rendition of the horah I've ever heard. If you don't hire them, you're frankly missing out big time. Also loved their photobooth, which we added last minute!

s always full and everyone said it was the best band they had ever heard at a wedding! The photo booth and memory book were a big hit also. We highly, highly recommend Funktastic and will use them again in the future. Amber was incredible and Mike amazing to work with!

to the last song and approached the event with just the right combination of having my wife and I make the music align with our tastes while offering guidance when we hit a couple roadblocks. Their setlist is extensive and the ability to request a few songs not already included on it made the soundtrack to the night even more special (and they knocked those songs out of the park). The band members are extremely talented, and set the tone song after song for our guests that were rarely off the dance floor all night. Plus, they let my band and I fill in for a song and were gracious enough to let us borrow the instruments and equipment we needed. Alysha crushed it as the emcee and had no problem respectfully herding cats throughout the night during speeches, blessings, etc. You're in great hands with the Funktastic team!

night! We also added a three piece bad for our ceremony, and a saxophonist during our reception. Funktastic owner, Mike, was incredible to work with and helped us get everything we envision. Thank you Funktastic!!

Alysha) and I really do not want to! The first compliment everyone gave me on my wedding had to do with the incredible band, they really set the tone for the day. Book them, trust me!

for cocktail hour and quartet for our dinner. Our guests absolutely raved about their performance and they catered the wedding songs just for us with multiple unique cover requests. Best of all, our first dance was performed in epic fashion and will give ourselves and our family lasting memories. We'd highly, highly recommend Funktastic Productions for anyone looking for wedding entertainment!

ktastic. From our first call with Mike, we knew we had found the right band. His energy is infectious, and you can tell how passionate he is about what he does and the service they provide. We booked the 7-piece band and photobooth, and we couldn’t recommend them more! We had the opportunity to request up to seven songs for them to learn, and we worked closely with Amber on the setlist. It's been four weeks since our wedding, and our guests are still raving about how amazing the band was. From the moment they started playing, the dance floor was packed until the very end. I even had to take a quick break because I was so exhausted from all the singing and dancing! Funktastic truly made our wedding unforgettable. If you’re looking for a band that will keep your guests on their feet and make your night one to remember, Funktastic is the way to go!

ng sax and drums paired with our DJ. Loved it!

the dancefloor for the entire night! It was such a great experience for everyone we could not be happier with how the night turned out!

e playlists were super easy and all the songs we wanted were played- we even hired the saxophonists which our guests LOVED!

and we were so lucky to have them play at our wedding this September. I would recommend them 100x over!

impressed by was their impeccable professionalism throughout the entire process. Simply said, they are remarkably easy to work with. From the moment you begin working with them, it’s clear they want to make your day special. They provide you with an exhaustive song list for you to choose from, and on top of that they actively encourage you to pick songs for them to learn for you. So back to their musicianship, all I can say is “wow”! While we had a relatively small wedding, Funktastic made it feel like it was a full on dance party! So no matter what size your wedding is, Funktastic will supersede all of your expectations. Bonus tip: we got their jazz trio offering for our cocktail hour and they were amazing for that as well. Well worth it if you’re considering live music for that part of your wedding.

experienced. They are real musicians with an incredible range of talent. We worked with Alysha who was absolutely lovely in the preparations and has the most incredible voice. They kept the party going all night, played a wide range of songs and were so much fun. Hands down the best vendors we hired, cannot recommend them enough!

thanks to Amber for leading the party and keeping people on the dance floor all night. We will recommend Funktastic to everyone!

e Funktastic!!!

sation we had with Mike was incredibly positive as he shared the band's background, capabilities, and we knew we would be in good hands with them. They're an incredibly creative and thoughtful group of people, being able to read the room and make changes on the fly and also knowing how to work the crowd and get people excited without being gimmicky or heavy-handed. They're far more than just a wedding band and after getting to know a few members, we're excited to follow their musical projects in Chicago. Thank all of you for the energy you put into our wedding night, you were one of the biggest highlights and our guests are still telling us how great you sounded!
