We use the main door & walk into the building and a group of people told us that the elevators were getting stuck. No worries, we took the stairs. As we were walking down the hall, I see an employee looking at us but looked annoyed - didn’t think much of it. We (my party of 3) arrived 10 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment. When we walked in there were two employees assisting a group with dresses. As we walked in, one of the employees looked at us, annoyed, and said nothing. Since neither employee greeted us or acknowledged our presence, we were kind of confused on what to do so we just poured ourselves some water and sat on the couch. Not once did anyone make eye contact with us or ask us any questions—it was as if we were invisible to them. We calmly waited as I knew we still had some time before our appt would’ve begun. As we were waiting we realized we were the only minorities there and not being helped. We sat quietly until our scheduled appointment time and still no one asked us if we needed help so we got up, told them that we were leaving due to their lack of unprofessionalism as we did not get even a smile every time they passed us.
Shortly after leaving, I received a phone call from the director. At first she apologized, but she focused mainly on how they didn’t hear the buzzer ring (the main door was unlocked and anyone could enter from the street). She asked “how did you get in without buzzing in?? “. She was quite aggressive with her excuse about not hearing the buzzer that I actually had to say “why are you arguing with me? I thought you called to apologize?? It doesn’t matter if you didn’t hear a buzzer ring. It’s just common courtesy to greet a customer when they arrive. I don’t care if your worker was with someone else, you don’t treat someone like they’re invisible.” After we both concluded that I would not be returning, I asked for her name, she got silent. I asked again and she hung up on me. I’ve never written a review, nor was I planning to...... but wow..... the director herself couldn’t handle this situation properly. My group and I had never felt so uncomfortable. This was an extremely disappointing experience and I would not recommend this store.
NYC ladies and beyond... this salon is a MUST! Look no further. Not only is it super cute, chic and in a great location, but the staff here is INCREDIBLE. I went in just to just start trying on dresses to see if their style was what I even wanted. We all have a vision of our dream dress and you just never know if it will actually look good on you. The one dress I went in to Gabriella Salon to try on, designed by Lela Rose, was discontinued. Instead of just walking out, the manager Nicole had me tell her EVERYTHING I wanted in a dress and so I told her and boy, DID SHE DELIVER! She came out with a dress that she knew off the top of her head from the new Reem Acra collection and told me to try this on first. Nicole was beyond professional and accommodating from the start. Nora and Annie also helped with the process and both had such a pleasant and sweet demeanor, and intuitive fashion sense. The dress Nicole pulled out for me was the first dress I tried on. When I came out of the dressing room, they were all so responsive with how much they loved it on me. They all made me feel like a queen. They made me feel like the SPOTLIGHT WAS ON ME and gave me their FULL ATTENTION, even if one or two other brides were being helped at the same time. Thank you for making it so easy and exciting ladies! I can't wait to continue with the fitting process in May!
I was recommended to try GNY by a close friend who works in the bridal industry and the salon itself did not disappoint. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and modern and the staff makes you feel so comfortable while trying on gorgeous designer gowns... I don't know how they do it but they take the "stuffiness" that I felt at other appointments right out of the process and make you feel right at home. I worked with Lexi and loved her right from the start - after 4 appointments at other salons, she took the time to sit with me, really listen, look through countless pictures of other dresses and my venue and picked out gorgeous recommendations. She asked me to trust her throughout the process and I did the entire time. She chose a gorgeous Reem Acra dress (that I never would have picked out for myself!) and I am so happy that it wound up being "The One." Even when I came back for my 2nd appointment, and my inner bridezilla started to come out, Lexi was calm, patient, and reassuring and made me remember all of the reasons why I fell in love with this dress in the first place. I cannot recommend GNY and Lexi enough!! - Nicole
My gown was gorgeous and I'm so glad I found something perfect for my big day. After a terrible experience trying on gowns at another salon Gabriella's was like a breath of fresh air. I worked with Kailey who really listened to what I THOUGHT I wanted in a gown - turns out I wanted something totally opposite! She pulled the perfect gown for me during the last few minutes of my appointment and I said yes to the dress!
Logistics/customer service seem to be an area where Gabriella can greatly improve. I was contacted when my dress arrived but a piece was missing and I was the only one who noticed! After calls and emails (some unanswered) the alterations manager told me "oh it probably is being shipped separately." For such an expensive gown I really expected a more buttoned up customer service experience. Eventually the 2nd piece was delivered but certainly was something that I would have rather not dealt with. This back and forth obviously made me very nervous about how the fitting/alterations would go.
The minor alterations that needed to be made to my intricate and delicate gown were expertly done. Alvira and her team were fantastic and super detail oriented. The dress fit perfectly and I couldn't have been happier!
I worked with Lexi at Gabriella and I couldn't recommend her and the salon more highly. I had read a few reviews online that made it seem like Gabriella might be snooty or stuffy if you didn't have a huge budget, but I found that to be so far from the case!
Lexi was kind and a consummate professional. She had an incredible eye for what I was looking for and made me and my mom and sister feel comfortable. Ultimately I ended up going with another dress that I found and just liked a bit more, I wish I could have bought from her! Gabriella has a great selection -- I was looking for modern, classic, elegant lines without feeling too 'bridal' and they certainly had that in stock.
I really recommend booking an appointment at Gabriella and asking for Lexi!
I just had my appointment at Gabriella today, and though I didn't walk out with a dress (though I may be returning tomorrow because there were some seriously good contenders!), I had to leave a review for the stylist who help me, Lexi. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and beautiful, was an expert at picking out dresses that suited my style, and just overall created a wonderful experience. She was also so kind to my family who tagged along, which meant the world to me. In short, come to Gabriella if you are looking for excellent service and a stunning wedding dress.
I came to Gabriella with my Mom a few weeks ago and cannot say enough positive things about the experience! It was the second of three scheduled appointments on our first day of looking, and we ended up cancelling the third because I found my dress!! We worked with Sarah, and she was so lovely and patient - it was so wonderful having such a great person be part of a special day with my Mom. Gabriella provides the perfect shopping environment for the bride who is looking for a great variety of designers and styles without the large department store feel that can be overwhelming or intimidating, especially if you're just starting your search. Highly recommend!!
Wonderful experience start to finish. Derek helped me for most of my dress adventures and she was fabulous. I tried several dress salons around the city and aside from finding my dream dress here, the staff was by far the kindest and most flexible to work with. They also set me up with a wonderful seamstress who helped me immensely as I kept losing weight while stressing and needed several adjustments to the intricate lace covering most of it. The dress was perfection in the end.
I had the absolute BEST experience at Gabriella's. I had been to several other bridal shops in the city & the experience at Gabriella's was so different compared to the rest...in a great way! Lexi, who helped me, was amazing - very kind, patient, honest & chose dress options that were great for me. Dress shopping is overwhelming as it is & I felt very came and supported at Gabriellas. My dress is gorgeous as well. Highly recommend this place :)
It's hard not to love your experience at Gabriella. Enough great things cannot be said about Christiane. She was encouraging, honest, helpful and really nailed my style without much assistance. Although I ended up falling in love with a dress elsewhere from a designer they do not carry, I encourage everyone to check out Gabriella, particularly if you are interested in Lela Rose or Lihi Hod.
I recently was recommended to go to Gabriella's by a colleague and it was a great reco! Christiane was my stylist and she was fantastic - made the experience super fun, so knowledgeable and patient! The salon is one of the more relaxed yet fun experiences, with fun music and an energy of excitement. Would highly recommend - thanks so much!
I had a wonderful experience working with Gabriella Bridal. Andie was great at pulling styles that I was looking for and I found the perfect dress. They also introduced me to Elizabeth Fillmore who is the best designer and also an amazing person. Gabriella allows you to work with Elizabeth directly and my fittings with her was one of my favorite parts of the entire wedding process. She is extraordinary!
I came here yesterday after an appointment at Kleinfeld's and I am SO glad I did. Everything about Gabriella is perfect: it's relaxing, welcoming, friendly, and most importantly, it has the most incredible and thoughtful collection of dresses. Andie helped me find the wedding dress of my dreams and I am so grateful for her and the rest of the staff's help. I cancelled my third appointment of the day because I loved the dress I found at Gabriella and felt so happy to be buying my dress from such a lovely store. THANK YOU!!!
Gabriella Bridal Salon is a beautiful little shop right in SoHo. Andie, my dress consultant, was nothing but amazing. This shop was a little on the higher end of the budget for me, but Andie was still able to pull beautiful dresses for me to try. One in particular was the absolute opposite of the style I had described to her, but she encouraged me to try it just to see. I ended up buying the dress! All because of her expertise about what would fit me well and look flattering. I am so happy and pleasantly surprised with the dress I ended up with. We came back a couple days later to make the "final" decision and get fitted, and Andie treated my friends and family that joined to a champagne toast. The shop also has beautiful accessories and veils to choose from. I highly recommend visiting this shop and Andie if you are able to request her!
This store had the widest selection of Jenny Packam gowns that I could find. I came all the way from Portland OR to this store and found my dream dress in less than one hour. Chris was wonderful, and even stayed later than closing to make sure I was happy with my dress. They can refer you to many different alterations specialists depending on your timeline and budget. The space itself is open and airy and there weren’t too many appointments going on at the same time jamming the place up.
I was a reluctant with reading some reviews on Yelp at first, but I had the BEST experience ever. Not only was I advised on so many things, I felt like I was friends with the entire staff, everyone was SO nice!
They were not pushy and kept in touch with me every step of the way. I really can't thank them enough. Still waiting on my dress to get back from J. Scheer (discount given with the dress) and can't wait to just stare at it, it is so beautiful!
I almost feel like I need to have another wedding just to go back and see everyone again! (haha, kidding.. one wedding is enough! :)
If Gabriella is on your list for boutiques to visit with NYC, make sure it's your first stop! I so wish it was mine. After a day of no luck at 2 other salons, my friends and I walked in and immediately felt that we were in a good place with good vibes!
Carleen was a dream to work with. Not only did she feel like someone I was 100% comfortable with from the get-go, she was also totally respectful and mindful of my opinions on what I wanted - incorporating both my budget and my dream dress that I described. Unlike other consultants, she was totally open to finding something that worked with my budget (which was probably on the lower half of their selection prices) instead of turning up her nose and casually pointed out which ones of my picks may be above along the way - leaving it up to me to decide if I wanted to try them on without a fuss.
Loved how Carleen had me pick several dresses to start, and she picked several as well. I ended up falling in love with one that she picked for me, a Kelly Faetanini gown that's classic with a twist of detail. Even after visiting other stores to make sure I didn't have a 'what if' feeling, I came back with my mom and bought it - couldn't be happier with my choice, Gabriella's selection and Carleen's patience along the way!
This was my first stop and where I ended up buying my dress. Would recommend this place to everyone. They had a great mix of designers and styles (from large brands to small/made in NY). I wanted something very simple and really had no idea what I wanted when first shopping and I ended up buying the first dress I tried on. Briana knew what to pull for me based on a few simple words I mentioned. Love this place!
First I have to say Gabriella's was the second place I shopped and I was SO impressed. You walk in and it looks like absolute bridal heaven. Big blush couches, chandeliers, a gorgeous loft space and BEAUTIFUl wedding dresses wrap around the space and surround you. I worked with Christopher and he was a dream, I felt so comfortable with him and he read me like an open book and the 3rd dress he put me in, it was it! At first I saw and thought "oh no, but this will perfect for my friend who's also getting married and shopping here in 2 weeks!" but the second he put me in I said, "This one's mine!".
I worked with Derek and Kiki in alterations and the dress was perfectly fit to my body and some small changes made to the train lining and they were fabulous! All in all, they were the easiest and best part of wedding planning!
THE BEST PLACE EVER! Before Going to Gabriella New York Bridal Salon, I went to three other Bridal Salons where I found nothing I loved. I knew exactly what I was looking for and it was not a typical gown, which every store of course had me try on. As soon as I walked into Gabriella's I knew I would find my dream dress! I was greeted by such bubbly, fun and friendly staff members who made my life so easy! My Bridal consultant, ERIN, helped me easily find 3 dresses I LOVED. No matter what my decision was, it could not be a bad one because all of Gabriella's Dresses are amazing and full of personality. The director of the store, Nicole, and Erin helped me narrow it down to my beautiful LIHI HOD gown! My seamstress, Alzira, and her Assistant, Derek, helped me along with all of my fitting appointments. They are so sweet and talented. MY DRESS FITS PERFECT! They also made me a custom overskirt which I love. I went into Gabriella Bridal Salon with a vision and left with so much more than I could have ever imagined. The director of the store, Nicole, runs a beautiful Bridal Salon that made me feel at home! My experience, My dress, My skirt, is all Amazing! I highly recommend this Bridal Salon if you want a fun, stress free experience!
I have been to over 10 bridal salons and the atmosphere at Gabriella's was by far the most enjoyable. It was upscale without feeling stodgy, they had a great selection of dresses including a number of designers that other salons didn't carry, and the personal fitting rooms gave a bit more privacy than your typical bridal salon.
I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because the sample sizes ran smaller than a lot of the other salons I visited. If you're a size 6 this won't be an issue for you, but for me (I'm closer to a size 12) it limited the number dresses I was able to try on and required me to use my imagination to envision what they could look like. If sizing isn't an issue for you then Gabriella's should definitely make it on your short list of bridal salons to visit!
A special 5-star thanks to my consultant, Briana, she was friendly, personable, listened to my vision, and pulled some amazing dresses I would never have thought to pull myself (but ended up loving!)
I cannot speak highly enough of Gabriella New York Bridal and the amazing amazing sales associate, Briana, that I worked with!! The atmosphere of the boutique is relaxed, warm, unpretentious, and the entire staff truly makes you feel comfortable and excited to find an incredible gown for the most important day of your life. I visited several boutiques in NYC, and nothing compared to Gabriella's in every respect. Not to mention, Briana (my sales associate) was highly skilled at her job, took the time to listen to my needs and wants, coached me through different dress styles and fashion terminology, and truly made me feel comfortable and excited to try on all of the amazing dresses at Gabriella. Also, I can't say enough about the dress selection--the variety of styles and high-end designs are breathtaking. I'm so thrilled with my Suzanne Harward dress and can't wait to wear it down the aisle. Not to mention, the jewelry and accessories are fantastic. I was able to purchase my dress, veil, and earrings all in one sitting--and all alterations are being done at Gabriella's as well. Briana and the boutique made my dress shopping experience so amazing and unforgettable. I love love love Gabriella's, and would recommend to anyone!
If I could give my experience at Gabriella New York more than 5 stars I would! Nicole and Annie were extremely professional, warm, and worked with me to help me find my dream wedding dress! They treated my family and me like old friends making us all feel very comfortable, laughing and crying together . I never felt rushed (I stayed for 3 hours!) and they were never pushy. The selection of gowns is amazing— chic, sophisticated, the best quality, fabulous designers, and of course all gorgeous! The salon itself is very clean, airy, and welcoming. I could Not have asked for a better experience to find my perfect wedding dress! Thank you Nicole and Annie for an unforgettable day!
I had the BEST experience at Gabriella NY. My appointment was with Briana--she immediately helped me feel comfortable and excited about the process. She was super welcoming to the store and picked dresses that worked perfectly with my aesthetic. Gabriella truly has unique designers, some which are not found anywhere else--like Suzanne Harward (australian). The salon itself is stunning in decor and they had lemon water all ready for us parched NY visitors! Cannot recommend this spot enough and so grateful for Briana's help. She even helped me schedule a follow-up to see my dress of choice a few days later to fit within my hectic travel schedule.
I loved Gabriela so much!! The store has an incredible selection of dresses and make you feel right at home. In particular, Erin was delightful to work with! I went to a few bridal stores and she was the most understanding, kind, and supportive and sent me a handwritten note! Although I ended up getting my dress elsewhere from a designer that Gabriela doesn't carry, I would highly recommend this store to anyone searching for the perfect dress!
Chic, cool, cosmopolitan, comfortable. That's the Gabriella girl and that sums up the experience you'll have at Gabriella. The service is incredibly warm, respectful, and personable. The dress selection is sophisticated and fashion-forward and Ashley knew exactly how to interpret my personal style through her choices and absolutely spot-on styling.
I'm excited for my fittings because I'm in love with my dress but also because being in the salon is so much fun! The atmosphere is stylish but serene. For NYC "real girls" who want a luxe look but down-to-earth service there is no place more perfect than Gabriella. The people, the atmosphere, the attention to detail...just a total pleasure.
Thank you Gabriella for helping me find my dream dress, when I didn't really think I had a dream dress! I'm so thrilled to be a Gabriella girl!
I knew I wanted a Jenny Packham wedding dress and Gabriella is listed as one of their preferred retailers. I was extremely nervous about the whole process. Derrick and the staff at Gabriella were both personable and professional. They listened to me describe my dream wedding dress and presented me with a number of beautiful options. I ended up purchasing the second dress I tried on. I just remember thinking - was it supposed to be this easy? The staff coordinated all of my fittings and Kiki did an amazing job fitting/altering all of the extensive beadwork. I felt and looked absolutely amazing on the day of my wedding and was asked multiple times about my dress. Thank you all so much!
I had an incredible experience at Gabriella. Briana St. Jacques was a DREAM to work with... The space was stunningly beautiful, tastefully decorated, spacious and fun! I felt relaxed and right at home. Briana was so patient and just gets it. I found my dream dress and would recommend it to anyone. I loved my time spend at Gabriella. Xo
I had the best experience at Gabriella New York! I loved their dress selection and felt they had something there for every bride. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and listened to my wants in a dress. I ended up going with an Elizabeth Fillmore dress for my beach wedding and couldn’t have been happier!! Highly recommend!!!
I had the best experience at Gabriella and found the perfect dress! Everyone who works there is lovely and made my mom and I feel so welcome and comfortable. Andie, the stylist I worked with, is fantastic - the very first dress she picked for me ended up being my dress! Nicole, the manager, is wonderful and gave us individualized attention making sure I was ordering the right dress length for my height and heels. They also fit me in later that same day to try on the dress one more time before ordering. Can’t recommend them highly enough!
I had the most fantastic time at Gabriella!! Brianna helped me that day and she was kind and fun and knew exactly what I was looking for! Their dress selection is wonderful. I loved every dress I put on! I would highly recommend Gabriella to any bride : )
Loved working with Briana at Gabriella Bridal! She understood my vision exactly and pulled gorgeous designs. The boutique is also adorable and not stuffy like some of the other bridal salons in the city. I was made instantly comfortable. Highly recommend!
to all brides if you want a dress experience to be wonderful and for you to get exactly what you want and have no doubts then i highly recommend them. loved every single minute of being there! good luck to you all and i wish you all a lifetime of happiness

I said YES to my dress at Gabriella NY on 6/1 and could not be happier with my experience there!! I worked with Ashley, both on 5/25 and again on 6/1, and she was amazing. She is so friendly, attentive, showed me beautiful dresses within my budget (the decision was actually quite tough!) and brought out the perfect veil, which I hadn't even thought about yet, but brought the whole look together perfectly. Everyone at Gabriella is warm & welcoming, they also had fresh watermelon & rose afterwards for my friends & I. Could not recommend this salon enough & cannot wait to go back in September for my first fitting!
I am absolutely blown away by Gabriella New York! I am not one to make an on the spot decision, I typically need to mull it over so not only did I purchase a stunning Kelly Faetanini gown, but my mother and I had beyond an amazing experience! First and foremost, the minute you walk through the door everyone is incredibly helpful, loving, and supportive. Ashley was my fantastic bridal consultant. I had my heart set on one dress and walked out with a completely different one because she brought one over for me that she thought would look great and it was absolutely stunning and blew me away! She was incredible! The bridal manager was walking around and also loved the dress and was so helpful and friendly. Then Nicole the store Director came over and it felt like she was a part of my Italian Family! She took my measurements and was just beyond lovely! I literally felt like she was my favorite Aunt from Jersey. I am not one to write reviews often, but when I do it is because I want other people to know how amazing something is, and Gabriella New York is that some kind of wonderful and I encourage all Brides to find your perfect gown with them. I’ve tried on so many gowns at so many other places and this by far was the most seamless and non stress filled appointment I have made. I cannot wait for my dress to come in and continuing to work with these incredible women in my bride to be journey.
I visited Gabriella’s Bridal last week with my mom, grandma, fmil, + bridesmaid to try on wedding dresses. Gabriella’s has an amazing selection of beautiful independent bridal designers. They are located in a gorgeous light filled loft in Soho and the entire experience was more than I could have dreamed of. The staff is so knowledgeable and kind. They let you browse the racks and choose dresses to try on-which is surprisingly not always the case at other bridal stores! Once they learn more about what you’re looking for they will bring in items that fit your vibe. I fell in love with the very first dress I tried on there, and ended up buying the Kelly Faetanini Maia gown. I still had one appointment scheduled that day, so I told the staff I would like to come back the next day to try the dress on again. They were so accommodating, and quickly and easily booked me in for a Saturday morning to try the dress again. The entire process was seamless and I just felt so excited to make the most important wardrobe decision of my life there. I even wanted to make a small adjustment on the straps of the dress and Nicole, the store manager, got the designer’s team on facetime to discuss the alteration. I couldn’t believe it, it felt so personal and intimate and like everyone truly cared about me, my family, and how I looked and felt on my wedding day. I can’t wait to go back for my fittings! At Gabriella’s you’re not just a number, they truly care about you and your experience and treat you like family. I would give Gabriella’s more than 5 stars if I could!
Every bride going to New York needs to go to Gabriella’s bridal salon. It is beyond beautiful, chic, welcoming and full of amazing gowns. From the moment you walk in you feel like you are in the coolest luxe soho loft. It is intimate and unique. I happened to be lucky enough to meet one of the designers showing their collection as part of a trunk show and had the most memorable day of wedding dress shopping yet. The whole exeprience was magical and although I did not get my dress here in the end. I am however considering a beautiful accessory I tried on here. I highly recommend any bride to be has this as a stop on her list!! Thank you to all the amazing team at Gabriella Bridal.
Gabriella Bridal Salon is a dream!! It was the first bridal salon I have ever visited and it far surpassed all of my expectations. From the moment, you walk in the door, you are greeted with such joy and excitement! The staff is so lovely. I feel so grateful for my amazing stylist, Kailey Murray. She was so professional, yet warm, fun and made the experience so special. She made me feel beautiful and was so honest about styles that looked great, as well as being upfront with how pricing worked for dresses and alterations. I fell in love with the third dress I tried on but so many of the gowns I tried I loved!!
Kailey informed that the designer of the dress I kept going back to would have a trunk show this weekend and that would make the dress 10% off as well as give me the chance to meet the designer. I went back yesterday for the trunk show and this visit was even better than the first. The designer was gracious and he was with me for an hour and a half, he showed me all the ways he will alter the gown to fit my body and it was an extraordinary experience.
I said yes to the dress and I am so excited for what is to come with Gabriella Bridal Salon!
I had a wonderful experience at this salon. The selection of dresses was diverse and well-curated. The vibe was mellow yet professional. The staff was very friendly, knowledgable, and accommodating. They put me at ease immediately. All and all, I can't recommend it enough. It's a must visit!
In January I purchased my wedding dress from Gabriella New York. The experience could not have been more perfect. I had a very clear vision of what I wanted and Gabriella's staff was beyond helpful in making that vision come to life. The staff was super friendly and so accommodating. Even though there were other future brides trying on dresses, I felt like I was the only one in the room. There was a particular dress that I had been dying to try on that day. Unfortunately, I forgot to call and see if the dress was still available to try on because I knew it would only be in the shop for a limited time. When I arrived I was a little disappointed that the dress was not there. When I explained the situation to the staff they quickly got on the phone with the designer to locate the dress. They then sent out an employee IN A SNOWSTORM to get the dress for me. I couldn't believe it. When the dress arrived it was everything I had imagined and I will be getting married in it in October =). If you are looking for fabulous dresses and an even more fabulous staff, look no further than Gabriella's!
I couldn’t have been happier with my experience at Gabriella’s. I had visited three other high-end bridal salons in Manhattan and felt that it was by far the most personal experience. I didn’t feel rushed at all. The showroom was spacious and well lit and had plenty of space for my family. Mikayla was so wonderful and I bonded with her instantly. She pulled dresses in my price range that were exactly to my taste. I settled on a gorgeous Reem Acra sheeth that I love.
Loved the relaxed feel of the chic SoHo loft while still being able to browse top designers you would find at a Bergdorfs or Saks salon.
I cannot speak highly enough of Gabriella New York.. the boutique, the sales professionals and management, and of course, the DRESSES are all AMAZING! I visited 5 boutiques in Los Angeles, even Saks in Beverly Hills and none of them compared to the carefully curated selection of highly unique gowns for everything from the ballroom to the beach. I got married at a beach resort in Mexico and Gabriella's had the perfect fun, yet elegant and ethereal gown by Flora Bridal based in Israel. I wore my dress from 4pm to 3am and nearly refused to take it off... I know comfort may be low on the overall wedding dress priority list, but it was actually very important day-of and Gabriella's helped ensure this. In addition to my overall happiness with my gown, my experience in the boutique, all email communications, and shipping and timeline were as promised. In fact, they over-delivered in every way. They responded to every email within 24 hours and shipped and delivered my dress earlier than anticipated!!! They even helped me order the perfect veil and referred me to a LA based seamstress that exceeded all expectations. In general, they seem to be very well connected no matter where you are located. Now that I think about it, I actually don't know what I would have done without them.
They also have a variety of beautiful hair accessories and jewelry, gowns, and two piece dresses that could be perfect for a rehearsal dinner! I saw recently on Instagram that they are now carrying Australia designer, Suzanne Howard, who is known for her high fashion couture gowns.
I love love love Gabriella's. I'd choose them every time.
I found my dream dress at Gabriella! I went to four total bridal salons-- three in Manhattan and one in New Jersey and probably tried on about 50 dresses. Nothing compared to my experience at Gabriella. They have a beautiful selection of gowns by a wide range of top designers and allow you to walk around and choose what you want to try on. However, Derek, the amazing consultant I worked with, actually found my dress for me! They never rushed me to make a decision and once I did they were so easy to work with. Alterations went very smoothly and I also got my veil and jewelry at the salon. They are also in an awesome location in SoHo which makes pre or post-dress fitting lunch and drinks super fun!
Gabriella carries amazing designers that I had trouble finding elsewhere in NYC. I originally checked them out to see the Jenny Peckham line but I fell in love with a Kelly Faetinini dress at a trunk sale. They were extremely easy to work with through the selection process.
My fittings were a little more difficult - they ordered the dress far larger than I wanted (I brought it up at the time but they said it was easier to work with bigger) and it had to be taken in significantly after my first fitting. However, they took it in too much and it had to be let out again. I was arguing with them that I had trouble breathing in the tightened dress until they relented and let it out a little a week before my wedding. While it was down to the wire and nerve-wracking, the dress fit perfectly for the day and everyone at the wedding thought I'd ordered it custom. Happy ending but lots of heartache along the way.
I was very nervous to start the wedding dress shopping experience but Erin at Gabriella's created such a fun and welcoming space, I forgot I was scared. Erin helped guide me to silhouettes that celebrated my body and made me feel my best. I had no clue what I was looking for so Erin gave me an education about wedding dresses and helped me discover my style in an intimate and laid back environment. No one was pushing a sale or encouraging me to be a particular type of bride..I could be myself!! If you are looking for a positive experience and just an overall fun time, go see Erin!!!
While I was still searching for a dress they were very helpful, however as soon as I made my selection they became difficult to work with. They did not order the correct lace detail for my dress which, as I was on a tight timeline, I did not have time to have fixed and just had to live with. They also ordered my dress in a much larger size than needed, which turned out to be based on incorrect measurements, and resulted in my alterations being more expensive.
Gabriella was a wonderful experience - brought 3 friends and we had a blast. It was very manageable - we looked at the dresses together around the room which was fun. STACEY is the best. She is very fun and sweet - and patient! I highly recommend coming here and asking for Stacey. She was a total pro.
I had heard great things about Gabriella New York from friends so I made an appointment there as soon as I got engaged and booked my venue. I did not expect to find my dress at my first appointment - I ended up not going to any other bridal salons! The salon is warm and intimate and there is a carefully curated selection of designer dresses that manage to be stylish, classic and unique all at once. My consultant Carleen understood exactly what type of dress I was looking for and helped me find my dream gown by an Israeli designer (Flora) that I had never heard of! I tried on a total of 5 dresses and ended up with the very first one that we picked out. I was incredibly lucky that there was a Flora trunk show that weekend - my dress was in the salon for that weekend only and was not available anywhere else in New York! Everything in the salon is beautiful - I also purchased a custom made Sara Gabriel veil and Jenny Packham jeweled headpiece that were the perfect finishing touches to my wedding day look. My seamstress Susan was excellent with the alterations and I totally trusted her judgment. The entire experience was amazing and personalized, definitely the most fun part of the wedding planning! I highly recommend this salon!!
I really enjoyed my experience here. It's quite small and intimate which I enjoyed. There really can only be two brides in there at a time. They were very patient and I didn't feel rushed through my reservation.

- Great selection of unique gowns
- Dresses represent your wedding, mood, and who is the designer
- Nice staff
- Dresses start at 3k
- $750 max alteration
Negatives
- Quite expensive alteration for a simply bustle. Depending upon what you need I would recommend getting alterations elsewhere if you need a hem and simple bustle.
I had a wonderful intimate experience at this smaller bridal salon filled with gorgeous dresses including the amazing Kelly Faetanini gown with this unique 3 dimensional lace. They incorporated a one-of-a-kind crystal belt. I had them do my fittings and had a wonderful experience with them.
I ended up getting the first dress I tried on at the first salon I went to which was Gabriella's. This was not a coincidence. The stylists at Gabriella's listened to the ideas I had and the look I wanted and picked out the perfect dress. I love this bridal salon, everything they have is beautiful and when you come in here they treat you like you're the only client they have. I also cannot say enough about their seamstress Susan and their entire alterations department. My dress was mostly illusion lace and was very delicate and difficult to alter but Susan and her team did it with true expertise and it was perfect!
I do think it's important to know before going in that Gabriella's carries high end designers and dresses start at $3,500-4,000 here. I didn't realize that before I went in, happened to find my dream dress and ended up spending far more than I budgeted for the dress. In the end it didn't matter because it was exactly what I wanted and was perfect, but it is good to set expectations before you go!
This was the first and only bridal salon I went to. Sam, my consultant, made the whole process comfortable and relaxed. Plus, she was just fun and sweet to work with! I found a gorgeous dress that I couldn't love more, and really appreciated that she was also respectful of my price point. Can't recommend them enough!
I found my dream dress, by Austin Scarlett, at Gabriella’s. The staff is phenomenal; it is made up of the sweetest most helpful associates. They have a variety of gorgeous gowns and take the time to help you find the perfect one. The atmosphere is intimate and comfortable. Unlike other salons, Gabriella’s does the fittings in house with their trusty, amazing seamstress. I’m so happy I went to Gabriella New York Bridal Salon.
I found my dream dress, by Jenny Packham, at this cute boutique salon. I also bought my Sara Gabriel veil and bracelet there. They have about a dozen designers, from big names to lesser-knowns, and the sales staff is lovely. They also handle fittings through the salon. Natalie was my stylist and she was so sweet! I would recommend Gabriella to any New York brides.
I live in Philadelphia but visited Gabriella Bridal because I had been there a few years earlier for a friends wedding dress. I am SO happy I returned to find my dress. I worked with Melissa who was very helpful and really listened to what I had to say. She also was able to find me a tailor closer to where I live so I didn't have to travel multiple times for fittings. I would definitely recommend Gabriella to anyone looking for great service and an awesome selection!
I loved my experience at Gabriella Bridal. I went into my appointment with no idea what I wanted and came out with my dream dress! It was the first appointment I booked after getting engaged, and the staff at Gabriella was so accomodating and helpful. They let me stay around 2 hours trying on all different types of dresses to get an idea of what kind of silhouette I liked. Finally, I tried on a Kelly Faetanini dress that I fell in love with. I knew right away that it was my dress, but wanted to make sure there was nothing else out there first. I visited Kleinfeld's and had a HORRIBLE experience and then another small bridal salon in Tribeca. I could not find anything as beautiful as the gown I had found at Gabriella Bridal, so I booked my appointment to return with my mother and some of my bridesmaids. I bought the dress that day during the Kelly Faetanini trunk show and even got to meet the designer! She was so sweet and offered to send me a fashion sketch of the dress I purchased. That was a real highlight of buying my dress. Who gets to experience that!? I couldn't recommend this salon highly enough!
While I didn't end up purchasing my wedding dress here, I would highly recommend the salon. They have gorgeous, unique styles that I didn't find anywhere else on my hunt.
Great atmosphere, limited but beautiful selection of wedding gowns and accessories. I was helped throughout the process by Matthew, who was absolutely wonderful! Patient, resourceful, friendly and helpful.
Be prepared to share mirrors with other brides if you come here on a Saturday - there were at least 10 other brides trying on dresses at the same time as me with only 4 (I believe) mirrors outside of the dressing rooms.
Although I got my dress at Gabriella (which was exactly the dress that I had in mind), I am thankful that I had the alterations done with the designer (Anna Maier) instead of through Gabriella as it was cheaper and a much more individualized process. The level of service Gabriella provides is not at the same level as you would expect with the cost of these dresses.
