for a thoughtful, meticulous, hardworking, and KIND wedding planner. I relied on Kate more than most, as I am not local to Louisiana anymore. Kate did not hesitate to be boots on the ground when I needed her to be and was highly responsive, to the point that I never once felt I was in the dark about the wedding planning process. Kate has extensive familiarity and great relationships with a wide range of vendors and venues in New Orleans in varying price ranges. Because of her network, the process of making all these selections was so easy. If you are someone who can be particular and who craves organization, Kate is absolutely your girl. She employs Google Drive/Meet, which makes staying in contact and up to date on deadlines easy. She takes charge and handles all of the most tedious aspects of wedding planning, and for that I will be forever thankful for her! She is unbothered and unafraid to liaise with vendors and venues, and will ask them every imaginable question you may have for them on your behalf. She has the unique ability to translate your vision into reality, and offers up helpful, creative suggestions anywhere you are unsure. Kate’s process is airtight - she made sure that we were completely ready for our big day. Because of her, we were able to go into our wedding day relaxed (mostly!) and totally prepared for what was to come. She mapped out nearly every minute of the day for us and our party, which brought me such ease of mind. Even in those moments leading up to the ceremony when I was feeling max-stressed, she was calm, level-headed, and sweet to me. I’ll never forget that. If you are at all considering getting married in New Orleans or the surrounding area, I would recommend Kate as a wedding planner, regardless of the size, budget, or location of your event. She is a true professional, and you’d be in the most capable of hands on likely the most important day of your life thus far! I was so excited to work with Kate. She is very knowledgable of all the NOLA vendors and made recommendations based off our interests. She also kept me organized through every step of the planning process with regular check in's. Where Kate truly shines is on the day of the wedding - I did not have a single thing to worry about as she took the reigns and ran the show. have the wedding we wanted within our budget (of course that's the hardest part) . I hired Kate after our first phone call because I felt so comfortable with her so fast. She has a very easy going and calm nature which always put me at ease. While also being super knowlegeable about the city, the wedding industry and trends. Whether it was deciding on the best venue for our 45person cocktail partyreception or suggesting the musicians to play our ceremony music when I had decision fatigue, Kate was always there never making us feel like she was guiding us in the wrong direction. Leading up to the big day she always had an answer to any random question and kept everything super organized. Kate was crisis control--she handled all sorts of last minute failures from a bailing caterer to a flaky band to a resurgence of COVID with Omicron. Most issues that came up she didn't even fill us in on (so that we wouldn't stress)...or she rotated contacting myself or my partner to divide up the stressful last minute decision-making. I was most impressed by how Kate thought of details that I had totally overlooked (she even brought me a pair of flats to change into at the party). arty, making sure the video we wanted to show was set up and ready to play, and managing all of the vendor deliveries on the day of. She then went above and beyond in every single aspect for us with what seemed to be nonstop chaos with managing issues that came up last minute for our band (several issues throughout the month and week leading up to our wedding), the security company we hired that initially just didn’t show up to chase down a replacement as the event was starting, an ever-changing guest list because of Covid concerns, finding last minute catering because the original catering that fell through for our welcome party the night before our event, and even helped us to save some leftover cake so it wasn’t thrown away so we were able to have as little stress as possible leading up to our event and then able to enjoy everything with the trust and security that everything was properly managed.
Beyond all of that, Kate is just an awesome person and great to be around. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough as a planner/coordinator. 6/5 stars and would happily hire her again for another event.

Leading up to the wedding, she was on top of everything and made us feel like we were in great hands and could relax a bit. My mom, who is extremely picky, immediately took to Kate and trusted her to make any decision.
