Gail is AMAZING! I literally could not stop screaming from how happy I was once I saw my bridal bouquet.... and then all again when I saw the reception tables and arrangements!! She is perfection. I was nervous she wouldn't be able to meet my expectations. I'm a small scale flower farmer and make market bouquets. I don't do weddings which is why I needed to entrust someone will my dreams. Gail made all my dreams come true. I still gush over how beautiful and perfect my flowers were. She was also very responsive and flexible as table counts and budgets fluctuated the last month or two before the wedding. We are so thankful for her. Hire Gail. You won't regret it.

Gail did such an incredible job for our wedding! Working with her was so easy and she is so responsive - the mother of the bride loved her upon first meeting too! Everything she provided was above and beyond our expectations - from the beautiful table decorations, to the gorgeous arbor for our outdoor ceremony. Not only were the flowers perfect that day, but they lasted several weeks after our ceremony too! She really managed to turn my abstract ideas into reality, it was incredible. Gail made all my floral dreams come true! We had to reschedule our wedding 3 times due to pandemic, Gail stuck by us the entire time. She was kind, professional, timely, and showed us so much grace through the entire extended wedding planning experience. She was also affordable and worked within our budget. We changed our venue 3 months before our date and she lent us her expertise as we switched from a ballroom to a barn. We couldn't recommend Gail more highly! We came to her with loose inspiration for our December wedding. We wanted something elegant with a warm holiday glow. Gail was so helpful in listening to our ideas and developing a step-by-step plan of everything we would need to decorate our ceremony and reception space. Gail made the entire process a positive experience, but WOW were we blown away by the final product. Gail went above and beyond in taking our inspiration and making the reality truly magical. For example, we were married in front of a fireplace. I had expected a few sprigs of evergreen and a few flowers to decorate the mantle. My jaw dropped when I saw the fireplace overflowing with greenery and flowers. It was truly stunning as was every detail thought-through and executed by Gail. An added perk was that we were able to rent all of the candle holders used throughout the decorations from Gail so that we didn't need to purchase anything on our own. Finally, Gail set-up and retrieved all decorations so that we didn't have to do any work at all. Gail was truly a bright spot in our wedding experience!

We could not have asked for more perfect, more beautiful floral arrangements for our wedding. My bridal bouquet was everything I could have dreamed of! We received raving comments the whole day of the wedding and still receive these comments when people see our photos. During our initial consultation with Gail 10 months before the wedding, she was able to grasp and capture exactly what we wanted. We did not have to worry at all about the deliveries of the flowers to the ceremony or reception site- or the clean up after the reception- because Gail was on it! Gail has been the wedding florist for 2 of my siblings and 3 of my cousins which should be a testament to the work she does!

Gail made such beautiful bouquets! My photographer was obsessed with mine because it was so big and colorful. The centerpieces at the reception were so cute and she was so on top of everything. I never met her until my wedding day and everything was just as I imagined.

Gail has done the flowers for a lot of weddings in my family so I knew they would be beautiful but when I saw the flowers on the day of the wedding I was shocked at how beautiful they were. Gail took the time to meet with me and I felt like she instantly understood exactly what I wanted. She delivered beyond what I imagined, and exceeded my expectations. Not only were they gorgeous but each flower and succulent were clearly carefully selected and quality. Gail did an amazing and beautiful job with the flowers for the weddings of my two daughters in 2016. I don't believe that there is a florist in Grand Rapids who could have done better! She was able to meet with each daughter to learn and interpret exactly what each wanted in order to set the tone and the look for their big day! She was willing to try something new to achieve the look (foilagen only) for one of the events. Gail is patient and easy to work with. She knows her flowers and had many good suggestions. She was patient and willing to tweak the order as we went along. The types of flowers and the quality of the products was outstanding and she achieved exactly the look that each daughter wanted, and everything was perfectly timed. We couldn't be more pleased!

Gail was absolutely wonderful to work with!! She was very professional and had lots and lots of options and ideas to work with. She really captured our personality with our flowers and centerpiece arrangements. She was very patient and was able to accommodate many last minute changes (oops!). When meeting with her, she has lots of books with options as well as different vases for centerpieces and even ran downstairs and gathered things to show me! She has a vast amount of knowledge and experience which helped me throughout the process. Price was very, very good as well! The flowers were so fresh and beautiful, making my wedding a dream a reality!!! The quality that Gail puts into her work really shines through! I had numerous compliments on my flowers as well as large 42in pilsner vases which I used through Gail. I was impressed from start to finish, everything went perfect and I can't say enough about how wonderful she is!!

We used Gail for both of our daughters weddings and were very happy with her work. I have recommended her to friends who have also used her and been pleased. Gail is an expert at what she does. She's so good that she doesn't even really advertise because her word of mouth recommendations are so strong. My mom's friend used her arrangements for her daughter's wedding and sent her our way and I could not have been more pleased. I came to her with a few different ideas and Gail was able to meld them together to exactly what I wanted. She has extensive knowledge of flowers and plants, her arrangements are beautiful and her prices are reasonable. We wanted to use our own milk glass and green vases, all of varying sizes and though it was complicated, she made it work very well and arranged them so beautifully. We had succulents as a part of our theme and I asked her to plant some of them in soil in the vases instead of cutting them and she was happy to do so at no extra cost. She was flexible when I needed to adjust my order size for an additional corsage and with changing numbers of table arrangements. On the day of the wedding she did all of the setup easily and seamlessly on her own and even made some last minute additions with extra flowers she had left over. My bouquet was one of my favorite things at the wedding it was so beautiful! Gail comes highly recommended!

The flowers not only looked stunning but smelled amazing. The memory of the bridal bouquet smelling of fresh roses and peony will be forever in my pleasant memories. So many compliments from guests and Gail was a pleasure to work with.

Without Gail, our wedding just would not have even been the same event! Gail was absolutely wonderful to work with in planning the wedding. She did an excellent job of hearing what I wanted and also gently gave me her opinion, which was very helpful. She was conscientious of the budget, creating an absolutely STUNNING archway for the ceremony using faux-flowers that nobody could even guess were not real. One of the things that made us so happy we chose GVL floral was Gail's incredible organization and the fact that she did it ALL. She helped me pick out and ordered all the linens, chair sashes, aisle runner, napkins; she rented a giant fabric "swag" to decorate the double staircase and provided absolutely every decoration we needed. She worked effectively with the staff at the Amway including setup and takedown and we did not have to worry about a thing. She even rearranged some of our floral arrangements to decorate at our breakfast the next morning! To boot, my bridesmaids' bouquets were exactly what I was imagining and more. Florals and decorations were one of the most important things to me in planning the wedding and GVL Floral absolutely hit it out of the park. We received so many compliments. GVL knocked it out of the park for my February wedding. Gail was personable, accessible, and honest. I could not have loved my wedding flowers more. She took my (I'm sure) scatter-brained explanation of what I wanted and made our arrangements look plush, modern, and elegant. And it wasn't just our flowers, I wanted a candlelit reception and seeing the faces of our guests as they walked into the room was magical. Our daughter's wedding was held at the Amway Grand Plaza in August. Her ceremony was in the Pantlind Room and her reception was in the Ambassador Ballroom. We knew we would need something special for both of these but also had a budget in mind. After meeting with several vendors we chose Gail. My daughter had a very rough idea of what she wanted but not enough to give exact direction. Gail's expertise and creativity provided the vision to transform her wedding into an event to remember! She met with us on several occasions once we finalized colors for the girls. She also brought in fresh arrangements at the rendering so we could see what we liked best. Gail kept our budget in mind with recommending flowers which were in season to give us the impact we wanted while keeping within our budget. I would highly recommend Gail to anyone planning an event. Gail was amazing to work with! I already had an idea of what I wanted our flowers to look like, and only had to explain them once to her, and they were PERFECT on the day of the wedding. She also transported the flower arrangements from the ceremony to the reception and did all of the clean-up at the end of the night so we didn't have to worry about a thing. One thing that I really appreciated was that she was always quick to reply to my emails (which were usually requests for changes) which put my mind at east throughout the stressful planning process! My husband and I cannot express the gratitude we feel towards GVL Floral. We had a vision for our wedding and she was able to execute that vision flawlessly! Gail also offered two consultations, which during we felt well cared for (very knowledgable about different species of flower)! Without hesitation, would hire her for other events!

I loved my bouquets and large floral arrangements for the ceremony. Gail nailed it with my bouquet and made it exactly the way I envisioned; however, I was disappointed with the centerpieces and boutonnieres. It seemed like there was more creative direction with the centerpieces as they were rather lackluster and did not seem as cohesive with the other bouquets. Much to my dismay, the boutonnieres for the groomsmen ended up being the same color as the groom's. This made me extremely sad as I had explicitly stated in the consultation that this was going to be the one item that distinguished the groom from the rest of the bridal party. Overall, I had mixed feelings on the end product. She was very organized and timely in response, just be sure to really voice what you want or you may end up disappointed.

As a bride out of town it was absolutely a joy to work with Gail. She loves what she does and her vision and expertise is something I couldn't have found anywhere else. She really listened to what we wanted and she was so effective in making it happen. From the smallest of details to the center focal points each element added to the overall feel and look we wanted. I am not a big flower person and knew I didn't want large elaborate floral center pieces. Gail was able to take my thoughts and make them a reality. She created a candlelit aisle with a beautiful archway with hanging votives for our ceremony. She then took those pieces and transformed them into stunning center pieces with floral accents. The work seemed effortless. We chose Gail early in our vendor search and we trusted her after our first meeting. I didn't feel like I had to check in or anything. I updated her as colors changed or numbers changed and she was accommodating and professional. We were so happy to have Gail on our team. Our other vendors were confident in working with her as well and had either worked with her in the past or knew of her work in the area.

From the moment I met Gail and looked through her books I'd known i'd found someone truly gifted! I told her my ideas and she made them come to reality and they were better than what I could imagine. I loved working with her. Her prices are very reasonable!

I could not have been more pleased with my wedding day flowers. I shared with Gail some of my favorite ideas, and she was able to quickly pull together a quote that was nearly half of what we had been quoted from other local vendors. The bouquets were huge and GORGEOUS. The wrist corsages for the mothers and grandmothers were even on stretchy pearl bracelets. Gail delivered everything on time and moved arrangements from the church to the reception without disturbing the guests. Highly recommended. This woman knows her flowers. Note: she has tons of photos books with samples of wedding flowers she had done if you need ideas.

Gail was a great florist to work with. My family (me, sister, cousin)has used her three times and each wedding is done to perfection completely transforming our dreams into real life fariy tails! She will take your vision of flowers and budget and make it into a reality. For example I would have loved to have peonies however my time of wedding did not cooperate with that blooming season, but Gail offered a few other flowers that would give the same look and texture that I was looking for in my flowers and they we less expensive so I was able to get more for the money! After the wedding we found out that we were able to get more flowers in our arrangements becuase of a discount that she received and passed that on to us and didnt just pocket the cash! Wow what a great vendor! She is great at her job and make sure that your look will be acheived! I found the hardest thing was I was going in a few different directions with the overall feel of the wedding and Gail helped me narrow things down and what types of arrangments went good together so it didn't look hodgepodge.
