Guilia made me feel comfortable right off the bat. She was honest with me about not being able to take an additional full service wedding planning package but could do month of coordinating. September 1st rolled around (our wedding was 9/30) and I emailed her a few questions. I got an out of office from her. She was on vacation for the next 2 weeks. I was caught off guard. She did respond to emails here and there but I did feel like she was not as available as originally expected because of her vacation for two weeks right before my wedding. The girl who was there on the wedding day coordinating was lovely and did a great job but I feel like the lack of communication really made things difficult and not run as smoothly as it could have gone.

Giulia not only met but exceeded our expectations as a wedding planner. Her exceptional organizational skills and quick decision-making ensured that we not only stayed within our budget but also made our dream wedding a reality. What truly sets her apart is her unwavering support for every creative idea we had and her responsiveness to emails. Even when she was on vacation - she consistently responded within 24 hours. Every vendor Giulia recommended turned out to be exceptional. She even helped us navigate concerns with a vendor I had chosen independently, creating a plan to ensure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. Thanks to Giulia, our wedding day was a seamless, stress-free experience. I didn't feel stressed for a moment, and I credit her for that. They were amazing. We dropped everything off at the venue and gave them an idea of how we wanted it set up and they went above and beyond!! They made the venue so beautiful for our wedding and made our lives easier not having to worry about anything day of. Seriously we wouldn’t have gotten through the day as perfectly as we did without them. I highly recommend them to anyone getting married and wants their day of stress free!!!

Giulia made us feel so much calmer in the weeks leading up to our wedding, and facilitated all the moving parts of the day beautifully! She was exactly the type of person we were hoping to hire as a coordinator: responsible, organized, proactive, calm under pressure, and incredibly warm. We had some last minute pivots on our wedding day - including moving the entire ceremony inside due to rain - and Giulia took everything in stride, checking in with my husband and me throughout the day and coming to us with solutions to problems that arose. She was so prepared for anything - she even had white safety pins with her, which came in handy when the threads holding up the bustle in my dress broke and we needed to pin it! The day turned out better than I could have even imagined, and it was so reassuring to have Giulia there running point. Highly recommend her to others looking for day-of coordination services!!

I knew I wanted a day-of coordinator to take the ideas and work I had done and make it shine and Giulia made our day better than I could have ever imagined! The day ran so smoothly, the venue was gorgeous, and everyone who met her at the event told us how much they loved her! Giulia was absolutely fantastic! We hired her for her "month of" coordination services. She handled everything smoothly and professionally and gave us a much needed respite from all of our wedding planning stress. Hiring Giulia was one of the first and best decisions we made when planning our wedding and we're so glad we did! She did some initial work to make sure we had considered everything in our budget, and was available to help us think through how to move some big rocks that came up throughout the planning process. When her month-of coordination started, she immediately took over our vendor communications, reviewing the contracts we executed to make sure they provided what we had asked for, and took care of getting their vendor meals sorted and helping make sure they arrived at the venue at the times they needed. When the wedding weekend came, Giulia was a steady, calming presence always there to make sure we had what we needed! She was at the rehearsal and talked through everything with my nervous mother and (then) future MIL. Day-of, she and her assistant made sure all of our stuff was set up exactly as we wanted, served as a first barrier for any stresses that came up during the day, and pinch hit as my expert bustler since none of my family attended my final dress fitting. Giulia is THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!! She is amazing in every way and I simply cannot say enough about how great it is to work with her. Thanks to Giulia, we had the most magical, perfect, fun, and stress-free wedding day. Her bright and positive personality and the calming presence she brought to each interaction we had, made the process of planning a wedding fun and stress-free. My husband and I are a bit older than most brides and grooms, have very busy careers, and have teenage kids who keep us extremely busy. On top of that, we are both perfectionists and very detailed oriented. I can honestly say that from the very first moment we met, we knew Giulia was the perfect fit for us. Giulia listened to our wishes and concerns and far exceeded any expectations we had. She has great attention to detail, is knowledgeable, proactive, organized, and highly professional. Knowing each detail was always taken care of on time was such a huge relief for us. She kept us organized and calm through every step of the way. To say that Giulia went above and beyond, is an understatement. Giulia actually ended up coordinating two weddings with us. Five days before our wedding day, my husband got Covid and we had to cancel the wedding. As always, Giulia was on top of it. She immediately worked through all the details with us and with each of our wedding vendors. Within a few days, everything was rescheduled. Throughout the next few months, Giulia again kept us organized and calm. And finally, when our wedding day arrived, it was everything we hoped for. Thanks to Giulia, we were able to really be in the moment and enjoy the whole day. It was like having a friend there who took care of every little detail. Giulia was with us from the time we started getting ready to the very end. She kept everyone on schedule, managing every vendor and detail, all with a genuine, positive, fun and professional attitude. We feel so fortunate that Giulia was our friend and partner in the wedding planning process and on our big day. It truly wouldn’t have been the same without her. I can't say enough wonderful things about Giulia! I thought I was on top of everything, but once she took over the month of I realized how much more there was to think about! She helped make all the adjustments, and truly made the day something to soak in and enjoy rather than have any worries about. I am so grateful to her helping us have the perfect wedding day!

I got married on Friday and had to write a review on Monday because I want any bride searching for a great planner to email G&N ASAP. Giulia is just THAT amazing to work with! I don't know what I would have done without her on my wedding day. She is responsive, affordable, highly professional and has a very calming presence - I knew she was in control of the event the whole time. Run, don't walk!

Giulia is an absolutely amazing wedding coordinator! She is lightning fast in her email responses, so detailed and thorough, and a truly lovely personality to work with. She always came fully prepared to every meeting (virtual chats and the walk-through), and helped alleviate a lot of our questions and concerns about hashing out the details with patience and kindness. Honestly, I can't recommend her enough! She's the kind of professional you definitely want in your corner!

Giulia was wonderful! She coordinated with all of our other vendors in the month leading up to our wedding, which was no easy feat since a lot of them were unresponsive. She made sure our wedding day ran smoothly from start to finish, and we wouldn't have had such a great day without her!

Giulia was so awesome to work with! I am so happy we chose her to be our wedding planner. It was our third attempt organizing the wedding due to Covid and I was (as you can imagine) extremely extremely anxious bride - simply couldnt afford to reschedule. Giulia way prior to the event helped us make key decisions (is my vendor worthy? within our price range?) and most importantly, help us organize the event flawlessly. Giulia was such a pleasure to work with. She was very organized, driven, and was always available for our questions and really listened to the ideas we had while also having great ideas of her own. Weddings are stressful but she made the process fun. On our wedding day she drove around the DC area to make sure things went smoothly and she was the last to leave the venue to tie up all the loose ends. I attended a wedding coordinated by G&N events last year. Due to capacity limits the staff was limited, so Giulia and the other vendors really stepped up to make sure that everything ran seamlessly. They were constantly handing out food, arranging tables, and directing guests where to go next. Giulia was friendly to all the guests and made sure everyone felt safe with the precautions being taken. I was so impressed by the extra effort she put in to make sure my friends and all their guests enjoyed their day no matter what!

I attended a wedding planned by G&N Events in September 2021 and it was nothing short of amazing! The wedding planner, Giulia, was lovely and gracious to all of those who were working, as well as the guests. She took time to mingle with the guests as she went from one task to another (which she did seamlessly). I would recommend any couple planning a wedding to hire G&N Events!

Giulia was so great to work with. We hired her as our month-of coordinator, and I’m really glad we made that choice. She was a huge help, coordinating with our vendors and keeping everyone updated. We had a family emergency the week of our wedding, and Giulia kindly notified our vendors so that we wouldn’t have to worry about that. Giulia made us feel super prepared and comfortable when planning the wedding, and insulated us from major issues on the day of so we could really enjoy it!

Julia was fabulous to work with! I hired her as my month-of coordinator because I realized I couldn't do it all myself, and it was so helpful to have her there. She is very professional and worked to coordinate all the vendors for day-of and also ran the wedding walk-though and rehearsal. I was also able to bounce ideas off her to make sure I didn't miss anything! She truly made sure that things went smoothly day-of. She was always there when we needed her but was not intrusive. I was SO GLAD to have her and if you are debating whether or not you need to hire a coordinator, DO IT. She took so much stress of my shoulders!

Giulia was a ray of sunshine! She helped us plan and execute a backyard wedding of over 100 guests. She was professional and easy going and made us feel so at ease with the whole process. Giulia was quick to communicate and kept everyone in the loop about all the moving parts of our wedding.

I don’t think we fully understood the vast benefits of having a wedding planner involved for our big day, until we sat down and actually began to attempt to organize things. While I admittedly didn’t have to do much of the legwork myself, my fiancée (at the time) is probably the most OCD person I know. She spent hours reviewing every last detail down to the placement of the jam favors in a perfectly even pyramid, and seemed to find no relief from anywhere other than G&N events. And where she found relief, we ALL did! We cannot thank Giulia enough for her diligence and her willingness to go above and beyond to make sure everything fell into place beautifully as we approached the day of. She came in earlier than anticipated, dropped her things, said hello and got right to work. She had things managed and planned like a well-oiled machine, and not a single thing was out of place. Not only was I so impressed with the organizational and planning support she was able to give every step of the way, but I also recognized that the true mark of a great planner is someone who can instill so much confidence into the bride and groom that they themselves can rest entirely easy knowing everything is under control on the day of. My wife was calm and collected, solely because she knew she could rely entirely on Giulia to make sure her vision came to life. We could focus on being in the moment, and we owe that to G&N. It doesn’t get any superior than G&N events and we so look forward to re-engaging as we look ahead to our reception next year! G&N – thank you for everything!

My husband and I are so thankful for Giulia for doing the day of coordination of our wedding!!!! John and I are so grateful that Giulia helped ensure our day ran so smoothly. G&N Events are absolutely top-notch. I honestly could not recommend them more highly. They worked with us to execute a complicated and cross-cultural wedding - a Sikh ceremony at a Gurdwara in the morning, followed by a traditional evening reception. They are highly responsive and clear in their communications, and extremely detail oriented. They will do whatever it takes to make your wedding a success. In addition, they are highly professional, friendly, graceful and competent. They handled a number of mini 'crises' with ease on our big day, and allowed us the precious gift of relaxing and enjoying our wedding, knowing that everything was in excellent hands. They were so terrific, we even had our guests and family members asking us about them and telling us how wonderful they were!

When I was planning my wedding, my family was not close by to help and advise me and so I turned to Nora who happened to be a family friend at that time. She helped and guided me with her years of wisdom and experience and even came wedding gown shopping with me – the results were phenomenal. I am so happy that she and her daughter, Giulia, have decided to do this professionally! I know they will give the same attention to any event they help to organize.

Words can’t fully express the relief, ease and peace of mind this team has brought to the start of my journey to plan our wedding. Though it’s a little over a year out from now, I know time will fly and my head began to spin at the thought of the whirlwind that’s to come. Not knowing where to begin, I turned to G&N to help me start to put the pieces together and they’ve been nothing short of a God-send! In the preliminary stages, all I needed was some guidance and without any commitment to additional services, they served as an encyclopedia of resources for me to explore. Instead of feeling stressed, pressured and overwhelmed, I’ve felt that I have things organized and under control – I don’t know what I’d do without them! Since I was a little girl, I’ve collected fragments of a vision of how I’d like things to be and now that the time is drawing near, I’ve struggled to articulate the ideas I’ve had my whole life; the G&N mother-daughter duo have understood me, better than I’ve understood myself! They continue to anticipate my needs, organize the mess of questions I have in my mind, provide answers to the queries I haven’t even thought to consider, adapt to my schedule and go above and beyond to find what I don’t even know I’ve set out to look for.
