The lead designer and founder of Garden in the Pines, Alyssa Morton, began her floral design journey by learning under successful event designers, freelancing with other event florists, and eventually establishing her brand, Garden in the Pines. At Garden in the Pines, organic elegance is at the heart of the design- incorporating sustainable mechanics, local florals, and textural elements to create a work of art that will have your guests talking about your epic photos and statement pieces years after your wedding has passed.

Our goal is to first meet you and learn about your needs and vision, and then to create a one-of-a-kind experience for you and your guests. With sharp attention to detail, knowledge of trends, and extensive network of vendor connections, our design team will help to create your dream wedding that is unique to your love story so that it will always be a treasured memory. Custom, full-service event design and production requires a minimum investment of $6,500.
This services puts an emphasis on your one-on-one design experience with a member of our design team to curate your aesthetic, share our feedback and professional opinions based on your event venue space and decor ideas, and curate a unique experience from inquiry to wedding day that allows you to feel like a guest.

Garden in the Pines has an al-a-carte service that allows you to select what you need by the item. This service tier has no minimum investment requirement and includes delivery to one location. Alyssa was so amazing to work with- I can't recommend her high enough!! I had a complicated vision and she knew exactly what to do to bring it to life! Her and her husband visited the venue multiple times to make sure they knew how to execute and it was FLAWLESS. I said- I want it to feel less uptight and more organic- and they came up with a free standing greenery installation, with beautiful natural looking center pieces. Alyssa was also super understanding and flexible about working within my budget. Alyssa would be great for any bride, but I'd highly recommend her for someone who wants artistic floral design. So happy to have worked with her!!

I truly think Alyssa understood my vision for my florals better than I did. The whole process from intro call to day of set up was seamless. I had my wedding at Park Loft in August and she just understood the space and what was needed to highlight and accentuate it. I had a pretty simple vision and she kept that theme and elevated it to something better than I could've imagined.
I would recommend her to everyone - really just stop searching and call her. You won't regret it.

I’m so serious when I say this — stop stressing and just book them!!!! We got married in august at Park Loft in Oceanport NJ - Alyssa & the whole team at garden in the pines made the entire floral experience a dream from start to finish. We had a general idea of what we wanted and they took it and ran with it in the best way possible. The proposal they made included reference photos, descriptions, and all the pricing info laid out in such an organized way — this alone set them apart from other florists. If you have no idea what you want, or if you know exactly what you want, they will execute it better than you can imagine! They also incorporated all of our specific favorite flowers, which made everything feel even more personalized and special. Seeing the bouquets, ceremony florals, reception tables, boutonnières and seeing how they repurposed everything genuinely had my jaw dropped and gushing with my husband about everything. We are so thankful for you guys, thank you Alyssa & team!!! 💞🌼

We worked with Garden in the Pines for our 11/9/24 wedding at The Asbury Hotel, and could not recommend them more. From the initial consultation with Alyssa, I knew that I wanted Garden in the Pines to be the florist for our wedding. I came in knowing that I wanted my flowers to create a timeless, classic and romantic atmosphere - mainly white with a pop of fall color, and Alyssa ran with it. From curating a mood board and walking through different candles, greenery, etc. that would enhance the vision, she is so knowledgeable, and is a pleasure to work with!

Garden in the Pines was the most incredible florist to work with. Alyssa is the best! She worked so hard to make our day perfect. She responded so quickly to our questions, was extremely organized, and helped us brainstorm ideas to help make our vision come to life. Alyssa from Garden in the Pines went above and beyond for our wedding. Not only did she set up a full presentation to get a feel for her offerings from the start, but she met with us multiple times throughout the planning process to be sure we were on the same page with the florals. Alyssa understood the vision we were going for and ran with it to create a unique and beautiful aesthetic that really helped capture the beachy vibe of our wedding in Avalon. To top it all off, she included preserving my bouquet to create ornaments for our relatives in the package. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, easy to work with, and extremely talented floral designer.

Garden in the Pines absolutely nailed it for floral design for our wedding. Having a small budget for florals, we chose the a la carte option for bridal party florals and our ceremony decor only. Even before booking, Alyssa hopped on a phone call with us to chat details and walk us through the process. Immediately my husband and I were impressed by her professionalism and responsiveness. By the time wedding day rolled around she was able to capture my exact vision for my bridal bouquet and the other florals we asked for with the help of local floral vendors and her team of florists. We cannot be more pleased with our experience with Alyssa from Garden in the Pines. I was so pleased that she was able to take all of my ideas, color schemes and images I gave her, to life and was able to create beautiful flower arrangements! Our guests all commented on how beautiful the flowers and bouquets were. She really exceeded all expectations! Alyssa made the process smooth, simple, and most importantly, stress free. The day of our wedding, there was nothing to worry about because Alyssa took care of setting up all the flowers! I was so happy when she hand delivered my bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets. She was so sweet and down to earth, we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be our florist! She also persevered my bouquet flowers into something I’ll cherish forever. I can’t thank her enough! Alyssa & Garden in The Pines was my most FAVORITE vendor to work with while planning my wedding. Her timely responses, constant reassurance & ideas/knowledge made me more relaxed during my super stressful/hectic wedding planning! I would recommend Garden in the Pines to ANYONE! She created my bouquets almost exactly like I asked.. she created the most romantic setting for my reception like I asked with candelabras as center pieces and candles galore ! My sweetheart table had BEAUTIFUL large florals with the exact colors I wanted. She even gave me extra flowers for my cake! At the church she made beautiful smaller arrangements for the pews. I couldn’t say enough about Alyssa! She was a delight to work with!

Alyssa was absolutely Amazing! She took all of my messages and conversations of my vision and she completely CRUSHED it! The bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, ceremony arch were all exactly what I wanted. The color scheme and types of flowers were on point! We put our full trust in Alyssa and wow did she deliver! I was sincerely blown away when I walked up to my beach ceremony and even more walking into our reception room. (Her and her husband built out a stunning ceremony from start to finish on our beach in 20 mph winds!) The work they put in to make such a beautiful day.. I've never seen anything like it! They had flowers cascading from chandeliers at our reception.. it was incredible. Just let her take the wheel and you will not be disappointed. I've been to too many weddings to count and the guests were even raving about our flowers! All the Pinterest pictures in the world could not match her creative ideas and class!!! Also, the attentiveness throughout the process was unmatched. Immediately upon meeting her, we stopped looking at other florists because it couldn't get any better. Her love for flowers and people and calming demeanor - what a pleasure to see and to work with!!

Alyssa was amazing from the first conversation through the day of our wedding. She was attentive, paid attention to detail, always communicated with us and was ready and willing to answer any questions I had as I flip flopped around with what we were looking for. She goes the EXTRA mile, sending sweet and thoughtful cards and even a gift when I was expecting. The day of, Alyssa and her crew made our venue look STUNNING. My bouquet was exactly what I imagined and she made our vision come to life better than I could have imagined. Highly recommend!! Also, pricing was extremely fair! We were on a budget due to losing so much from our first wedding due to Covid, and she worked with us!

I couldn’t have asked for a better florist to have so our wedding! The whole process was so easy, Alyssa brought to life exactly everything I dreamed my wedding to be! Planning a wedding is super stressful everyone knows that but working with Alyssa there was no stress at all! Garden in the pibes was absolutely the best choice for florist. Alyssa was so caring and attentive to everything I described to her for my wedding day. Not only that, but she was so quick to respond to any of my questions with a genuine answer or solution. Words can't express how incredibly grateful we are to have had Garden in the Pines as our florist for our wedding at the Bay Head Yacht Club.
From our very first call, I knew I had to work with Alyssa. She is incredibly sweet and knowledgable, she really helped form my tastes into a clear vision that she executed PERFECTLY on the wedding day. Every single detail was nailed - she is so responsive, kind, and most of all TALENTED. She knows what she is doing and I really believe hiring her for our wedding was one of - if not THE best decision we made.
My bridesmaids, guests, family, friends - everyone kept commenting on how gorgeous the flowers were. The full ballroom was transformed with her beautiful garland down the head table and centerpieces. There was such continuity across every part of the wedding - gosh I could go on and on!!!
All I will say is... I know how stressful as a bride it can be to choose the right vendors. I actually had put a deposit down with a florist that was pushy and then cancelled them because I wanted someone who would listen, make me feel comfortable, and that I could trust. I honestly can’t rate GITP any more highly. Your search for a florist should absolutely stop here, CHOOSE GARDEN IN THE PINES!

I am incredibly thankful I choose Garden in the Pines as my florist for my wedding day! I wanted my bouquet to look good in photos. But I wanted to include some sentimental flowers and was worried how they would look together. Alyssa brought my ideas to life beautifully! Her easy to navigate website, messaging system, mock ups and zoom meeting made the planning process easy and fun! Plus she was willing to make changes along the way and help suggest creative solutions. The flowers she provided were beautiful and the experience was amazing. I had been following Garden in the Pines' beautiful work on Instagram for many months before I was even in wedding planning stages. My husband and I were engaged just a few months before COVID hit. After over a year and a half engaged, we no longer wanted to wait. I reached out to Garden in the Pines and they were able to help make our 1920s/Great Gatsby wedding dreams come true with just a few months until the big day. They were incredibly responsive with an easy-to-navigate online system, complete with a detailed survey that inquires about wedding theme, color palate, etc. I was able to verbalize my wishes and Garden in the Pines brought those wishes to life after just one virtual consultation! My husband and I were able to achieve our micro-wedding on a budget with their reasonable prices and the arrangements were gorgeous. They even delivered my bridal bouquet, corsages, and boutonnieres right to my home the morning of our big day. They even offered casting some of these flowers in resin so that we could preserve these memories! Garden in the Pines offers a truly personalized and genuine experience.
