I did the day of coordination package and Isabelle was the lead planner for the day of. Leading up to the wedding day, Isabelle was readily available to answer my many questions and help me walk through the logistics and create a very detailed timeline. The day went incredibly smooth and Isabelle did an amazing job of keeping the day moving according to our timeline. I received many compliments from other members of the wedding party and other wedding vendors regarding Isabelle's professionalism and organization. I definitely recommend Isabelle and her team to other couples planning their wedding and need someone to trust!
Isabelle and her team are absolutely amazing! Having the help of a coordinator/planner was such a big help! Planning a wedding takes so much time and having Isabelle as someone who does it daily was great! My wedding day was stress free with the help of this amazing vendor, we were able to fully enjoy our wedding day! I couldn’t recommend Isabelle and her team enough!
Going into wedding planning, I knew hiring a full time planner was not the right fit for us. I personally love event planning and have wedding experience so I felt confident in being able to handle the planning side of things. Garden Rose offers a "Wildflower" package that worked great for us because it offers day of coordination that includes month of communication and final vendor organization. We ultimately decided to go with Garden Rose versus another vendor because the price was right for our budget and so that we could work with Michaella.
The day of our wedding, Michaella was incredibly calm, collected, and professional - Which was exactly what I needed. Getting married itself did not make me nervous, that was the easy part. Seeing a party you spent two years planning come together with a million moving parts was the nerve racking part. Michaella made sure everything fell into place just so. Trust me when I say I was analyzing all the details - Not because I had any doubts in our vendor team - Again, when you spend that much time creating something, you want to see all the results. I swear, I just had to look a certain way and Michaella was right there when I wanted to ask or double check something. Multiple guests went out of their way to let me know how nice she was to interact with. Our caterer showed up very late, even after having their schedule confirmed. Michaella, along with our bartending team, ensured that no gaps were left and that everything moved forward appropriately. I am completely satisfied with our experience and would definitely recommend working with Michaella and team again.
Isabelle Russell of Garden Rose Events and Design was the Wedding Planner for my daughter and son-in-law’s “destination” wedding at the Bristol Train Station in Bristol TN/VA. She helped in every step of the way to bring their unique vision to life. She helped guide us through the process, offered helpful suggestions, but most of all she LISTENED. Through a weekend of wedding events, 120 Out-of-town guests, numerous quirky requests and the usual last minute adjustments, our families were able to enjoy every minute, confident that Isabelle had everything in hand with a professional, calm and unobtrusive approach and manner. Her rates were very reasonable and the peace of mind she provided to all of us was priceless. We enthusiastically give Isabelle 5 well-deserved stars and highly recommend her to those starting on their wedding planning journey.
Investing in Garden Rose Events for my daughter's wedding was by far the best money we spent. Isabelle was amazing! She was attentive, professional, and wonderful to work with. She responded promptly to emails. The day of the wedding when I felt overwhelmed and stressed her calm and professional manner put me at ease and helped me feel like all the details were covered. She was my daughter's advocate throughout the whole process. Isabelle and her assistant did a wonderful job day of. I will recommend them to anyone I know who is getting married and I plan to use them in the future for my other daughters when their big day comes.
I cannot express how grateful I am to Isabelle and the rest of the Garden Rose E&D staff. They were all truly amazing. Isabelle was SO helpful. While planning my wedding, I was in the middle of medical school clinical rotations and had very limited time to work on wedding things. Isabelle accommodated my schedule, and made it easy for me to make decisions. Not only is she incredible at her job, but Isabelle is also a kind and patient person. I can't say enough nice and glowing things about her and her business. She planned the most amazing wedding for my husband and I. I wish I could live the day over and over.
Isabelle and Michaella are the best to work with. Could not have asked for a better Day-of Coordinator! I really don't know how people get married without one. They killed it!
We were so happy we booked Isabelle with Garden Rose Events & Design for our wedding at Belle Garden Estate! She guided us through the planning process and took so much stress off our shoulders. She was so easy to get along and work with and completely brought our wedding vision to life. Do Not Hesitate! You need a wedding coordinator and it should be Garden Rose Events & Design!!!
Isabelle is the absolute best! Things fell through with our first wedding planner a couple months before our wedding, and Isabelle stepped right in without hesitation. I couldn't imagine our wedding without her. She was patient, kind and organized. She was there for any questions I had leading up to the wedding, led our rehearsal the day before the wedding and made sure all of the vendors were informed of wedding day events. Her website is easy to use and includes everything you could think of to make wedding planning easier. We highly recommend Isabelle and her team!!
I wish there were more than 5 stars to rate Isabelle and the Garden Rose Events team. We were supposed to get married May 2020 but had to reschedule (twice!) due to COVID. Isabelle was there by my side every step of the way, for two years! As a type A person, I had such a hard time letting go, but we had such a great partnership. Leading up the event, I felt so confident that Isabelle hadn't let anything go through the cracks which is so important leading to the big day. On our wedding day Isabelle was even more amazing (I didn't think it was possible!). Everything went off so smoothly, and if it didn't...I had no idea because she was so on top of everything. She was there during our cocktail hour getting us drinks and snacks before our pictures. Then, she made sure we were eating throughout the night. I would highly recommend Garden Rose Events!
Absolutely the most wonderful venue to be at for a wedding weekend! Use it just for the wedding day, or reserve it for the whole weekend like my husband and I did, you will NOT be disappointed. Isabelle and the other workers made everything absolutely perfect for us! The house is absolutely beautiful and has plenty of room for the bridal party to get ready. We got married outside by the arbor and it couldn't have been more beautiful. Everything was set up exactly how we imagined! We had the reception under the covered pavilion and, again, we were absolutely amazed at how perfect everything looked! Everyone at Belle Garden worked so hard to make sure everything was set up just how we wanted, and we didn't have to worry about set up or tear down of any tables and chairs. The grounds and lawn looked fantastic and so well taken care of and just added to the beauty of the venue. There were fun places to take bridal portraits outside on the property and also inside the house. If you are looking for a beautiful venue with breathtaking outdoor views, as well as beautiful vintage decor inside, look no further than Belle Garden. It's the whole package! You won't be disappointed about a thing!
10/5 starts!! Obsessed!! I truly cannot say how AMAZING Isabelle is. I had a relatively long engagement (14 months) and at the beginning was thinking I could do it on my own. I laugh now when I think about not having Isabelle or Garden Rose Events to help me with my roller coaster of a wedding experience!! From the very start, Isabelle completely won my heart and constantly impressed me. She was so very professional, while also being fun and relatable. I immediately knew I could trust her and boy was I right! With about 6 months left until the wedding, Covid hit. Shortly after that we found out or venue cancelled and we had to completely redo the vision we had. We had to redo our venue,date, guest list, and manage all our other vendors. I cried many tears, and Isabelle let me be sad. But I was never sad for long after talking with her because she made me feel like it would be okay! She also always stuck up for me and made SURE that even though so many big things changed, she worked even harder to make sure all the little details stayed the same. She managed everything and though I know she was probably going crazy behind the scenes, she was as always so organized and on top of it for us . Even up until the day of the wedding (due to weather), there were still possible changes for the wedding location. There were just so many things to juggle. But I knew that all I had to do was show up and Isabelle would take care of the rest. That’s exactly what happened and it could NOT have been more magical. I tell people she had to plan our single wedding about nine times. When the day came, you would have never known that it wasn’t the wedding we planned all along. The only thing that didn’t change during the period of wedding planning was Isabelle as my rock. Isabelle - In the midst of ALL the craziness of 2020- gave me my dream wedding. I am forever grateful to her!!!!
I cannot imagine a better Wedding Planner than Isabelle. Throughout our entire Covid wedding planning and replanning, Isabelle was our rock. She somehow manages to be a quiet yet strong presence. She does not miss a single detail while maintaining the lowest level of anxiety. She managed a wedding party of 12 calmly and at the same time with enough authority to command their attention. It was like magic. Everyone at the wedding commented how fantastic she was. I have never put so much total faith and trust in one person (and Hannah her assistant)! There really isn't any more you would be looking for in a wedding planner. I already miss her.
Shay did such an amazing job as our Day of Coordinator! The day flowed so smoothly and we were able to relax and know that Shay had everything under control. I can't express my gratitude enough!
We worked with Candace for our wedding this fall and we had such a wonderful experience! Candace was friendly, helpful, organized, easy to work with, and any other quality you would want in a wedding coordinator.
She made the day completely seamless by communicating with our vendors and making sure our guests were having a good time. Even the mishaps went unnoticed thanks to her organization and problem solving. Candace was detailed and professional throughout the entire wedding planning experience and our meetings with her always made us feel more comfortable and confident that our wedding was going to turn out just as we had envisioned. We truly can’t thank her enough for the work that she did for our wedding.

Between Isabelle and Hannah, they were hands down the saving grace to our venue. Signing on a week before our wedding, nervous was an understatement. They met with us, finessed an itinerary and executed. As we had never done this before, we needed to rely on professionals to really help guide us with something as simple as alphabatizing a seating chart. If I had a do over the year before my wedding, I would have hired them on the spot.
Hiring Isabelle made our wedding planning a breeze! I was planning my blacksburg-area wedding from Washington, DC, and I knew I needed a local wedding planner. After 5 skype interviews I hired Isabelle & the Garden Rose team because of their excellent taste and passion for planning beautiful events. Isabelle kept my planning on track, and always eased my mind about what needed to get done and when. Isabelle adeptly handled our vendor relationships throughout the planning process, and expertly coordinated our big day. The Rose with Garden rose wedding show her team hosts was a great opportunity to meet vendors, and I booked my hair and makeup team after meeting them at Isabelle's event. Isabelle also always gave sound vendor recommendations, and we ended up with a great team servicing our wedding. She has good knowledge of the roanoke/blacksburg wedding market, and really made planning the wedding from a distance easy. She was willing to work with our travel schedule and often met with us on weekends, or scheduled late evening calls to accommodate our work schedules. Our wedding day was absolutely stress-free. Isabelle and her team handled every detail, from directing vendors to a hard to find, rural location, to keeping the wedding running on time, to ensuring that every guest was having a great time. Our wedding was the perfect day, and we could not have pulled it off without Isabelle and her team! My first recommendation to every engaged couple I meet is to hire a wedding planner -- and if you are getting married in southwest VA Isabelle should be your top choice!
I cannot emphasize enough how easy Isabelle and her team made my wedding day. At first, I wasn't sure that I needed a wedding planner, but I am SO glad that I booked Garden Rose. Everything was handled professionally, leaving me to be completely stress free on the day of the wedding. From setting up tables to making a plate of food for my husband and I, everything was great. YOU GUYS! - Isabelle and her team were one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. I have no idea how we would have done any of this without them! I was so SO overwhelmed in the beginning, but Isabelle had all these helpful tips and tricks, and suggestions on vendors within our budget. She helped my indecisive-self choose literally everything I struggled with! It was really nice to have an experienced planner guide us through this rather stressful process. Not to mention, we got married on 9/15/18 - right when hurricane Florence was doing her thing up the East coast...I was devastated after a year+ long planning endeavor, but Isabelle made it all work! It was absolutely beautiful! Better than I could have imagined, honestly. Even a hurricane couldn't stop the Garden Rose team! I really want to thank them for all the work they did in the year leading up to and on our actual wedding day - we appreciate you all more than we could ever express. If you're thinking about hiring Garden Rose, absolutely 100% go for it. You won't be disappointed!
The team at Garden Rose is absolutely amazing! Kaylee assisted us with Day of Coordination services and it was one of the best investments we could have made for the wedding. She professionally coordinated with our vendors to make sure all of the final details were in place and developed a time line that made the event run seamlessly. Though we had planned on having our ceremony outside, we received some last minute rain showers which made us resort to Plan B. Kaylee did an excellent job of guiding us through the different options for a rain plan and made what could have been a very stressful situation worry free. Kaylee and Hannah made sure that we didn’t lift a finger on our wedding day and worked hard to ensure that everything ran as smoothly as possible. Garden Rose has my highest recommendation!

The Garden Rose team made planning my wedding so much easier! The were able to answer all my questions and also helped me create a seating chart, rain plan, timeline, and wedding checklist! Having them on the day-of to execute my vision was worth every penny spent. The are the best in the business!

Isabelle and her team were fantastic!! I was planning a wedding in Michigan while living in Seattle and she helped with so many things that I never would have thought of! She was able to communicate with me through video calls, phone calls, emails, text message, anything you could think of! Words are not enough to say how utterly amazing Isabelle and Joleen are! From the beginning of planning through post-wedding they have been nothing but amazing! They coordinated vendors and kept my phone and Inbox free of any wedding craziness, made sure our rehearsal went off without a hitch, and felt like they were part of the family come time for the wedding! They handled EVERYTHING from decorations, lining us all up, checking in on literally everyone, and making sure we had everything we need (Even making sure we got dessert while we were up mingling!) I am SO happy we invested in Garden Rose Events & Design. Isabelle is truly dedicated to her passion and so skilled at what she does (As is Joleen!!!!) I cannot thank these wonderful women enough for all that they did to ensure our big day was perfect. Thank you thank you thank you! This team is amazing! There is no way I would have been able to enjoy my day without their help! Isabelle asked us about things I never would have thought to plan for otherwise. The Garden Rose team set up everything, answered everyone's questions so I didn't have to, and solved any problems before my husband and I ever knew about them. I was able to be completely stress free because I knew Isabelle and the Garden Rose Team were handling it. Not only are they professional and extremely good at what they do, they are fun people to work with and be around! Highly recommend!

Isabelle, Kaylee, & Amy worked cohesively to make my wedding day an absolute dream come true! I met Isabelle at a bridal expo a few months after I had begun planning my wedding myself, thinking I had it all under control. I chose their "Wildflower" package (day of coordination) by a push from my maid of honor, and thank goodness I did! Without Kaylee & Amy, my stress level would have been through the roof on my wedding day! They decorated beautifully, executed a well-planned timeline, and interacted wonderfully with guests. In addition to the team's wonderful planning skills, Isabelle also has a great selection of rentals to choose from to help complete the look you are going for. I consider each of these girls a friend, not only great wedding planners! You won't be disappointed with the Garden Rose team!
Garden Rose is so professional with every step in their process. Their team is amazing, and right on que with everything. I used them as a day of coordinator and I simply could not have had my wedding without them. Their team member Bethany is wonderful. She kept the rehearsal quick and efficient, I didn't have to lift a finger on my wedding day, she handled everything and I couldn't be more thankful. Isabelle was a pleasure to work with. Super sweet and very responsive. She took the time to meet with me multiple times before the wedding through various methods (in person, phone calls, face time). She made sure that I did the things that I needed to do and she helped with anything that she could. On the day of and at the rehearsal, she kept my wedding party and guest on track. I feel that she was very reasonably priced for the services she provided. If I had to do it all again I would definitely stick with Isabelle!
I got the partial planning package through Garden Rose. Isabelle knows exactly how to run a wedding and how to take care of issues that may arise. I greatly appreciated her expertise during planning, but she really showed her talents the day of the wedding. She took care of everything and made sure every detail ran smoothly so my family and I could enjoy the wedding. Not a single one of us had to worry about anything, even though several issues came up literally that day. I highly recommend having Isabelle as a day of coordinator at least, if not more.
I hired Isabelle for her "month-of-coordination" package and she was outstanding from our first encounter! Her coordination with the AislePlanner app helped make a seamless transition from my thoughts straight to her in between our conversations and allowed us to always be on the same page. Isabelle was quick to respond to my texts/emails even before the "month-of" and was available to me for anything I needed. I heard nothing but good things from my vendors with her taking over the final details and making sure everything runs seamlessly. Brides- something at your wedding will go wrong, let Isabelle be the one to take care of it and you'll never be any the wiser. She was professional, uplifting, and on top of her game throughout our wedding day and I would recommend her to anyone getting married in/around Roanoke!

My new husband and I LOVED working with both Isabelle and Joleen. I am so thankfully for Isabelle and her crew! I wasn't going to book a coordinator because I thought I could do it all myself. As we got closer to the wedding day, I started to get stressed about the day running smoothly. I met Isabelle at a bridal show and she was great! After receiving information about the day of coordination, we decided to book Garden Rose Events and Design. The months leading up to our wedding, Isabelle was great. Always available by email or phone. The day of the wedding she went above and beyond to make sure it rain smoothly - rain and all! After the wedding, she stayed around the help clean up. I can't thank her and her assistants enough for helping relieve the stress that I was experiencing and helping with making our day run so smoothly. If you need a coordinator, Garden Rose Events and Design is the best!
Isabelle was an absolute joy to work with for our day-of coordination services. From the start she was always prompt and quick to respond to my emails. She offered help if I needed it in the weeks before our wedding, with planning, ideas, anything we needed.
She executed my wedding vision magnificently, taking decor that I had and using it places when I didn't know where it should go. She literally ran my entire wedding day (communicating with vendors, setting up pretty much my entire event, keeping me calm and updated on the timeline, etc).
She even made a last minute trip to Walmart the day before the wedding when we realized we didn't have enough cocktail tablecloths! Isabelle also cut and arranged all of my greenery centerpieces and created an amazing garland for my head table (she has floral arrangement experience).
She really went above and beyond what a day-of coordinator does, at an amazing price!! She gave us a card & a bottle of champagne as a surprise gift. She truly was the best wedding coordinator I ever could have found! I was 100% happy with her services! Hire her!!
Isabelle is so amazing that I don't even know where to start! Her prices are very reasonable, and she is the hardest worker I know. She's professional, and she's easy to talk to. I had a great experience with her throughout the months and months of planning, and I feel that I made a new friend. Isabelle has endless advice and was always there whenever I had any questions or concerns (which were endless). Once the final day rolled around, my wedding was more beautiful than I could have possibly imagined, and it went off without a hitch (as far as I know!) Isabelle and her team made sure that all of my dreams became a reality, and I could not be more appreciative of their help. Thank you!!
Isabelle and her team at Garden Rose Events were wonderful in helping to plan and coordinate our daughter's wedding. She was always very well prepared for each meeting and responded promptly to our texts and e-mails. The additional vendors that she suggested were a perfect fit.
On the day of the wedding, every thing went smoothly and on-time. She understood our vision, and the ceremony site looked so beautiful, even when the ceremony had to be moved inside because of rain.
