At Garnet Hill Lodge, a micro wedding is an intimate affair with no more than 40 guests. They sill feature time-honored traditions that make a wedding so special, but on a smaller scale. A destination elopement is a private ceremony with 10 guests or less. It is romantic, private , and truly intimate celebration of love.

t like we had flexibility and plenty of options while we planned our wedding.
We were on site for almost 4 full days for our wedding and the service felt "white glove" while being in a rustic setting. We and all of our guests felt well taken care of in such a warm and welcoming environment. Nicole and her team have developed quite the well oiled machine when it comes to putting on a reception. Every aspect of the weekend was executed seamlessly and every single guest at our wedding loved every minute of being at Garnet Hill Lodge. So many of our guests had never been to the area before and fell in love with the Adirondacks by coming to Garnet Hill Lodge. Please do yourself a favor and host your wedding here. You will not be disappointed. Once you do, you will be well taken care of by Nicole, Lucy, and Josh.

The food was absolutely incredible! We also can’t say enough about the staff. Nicole was amazing—warm, organized, and so supportive through every step of the planning process. Lucy was equally wonderful, and Josh, our bartender, brought so much fun and friendliness to the celebration. all the staff at Garnet Hill Lodge were great to work with and truly made our wedding day incredible! We had a small intimate Monday wedding in October with 44 guests total. From the very beginning the communication with Nicole was great. She made the wedding planning process easy and her expertise is unmatched! A big reason we picked Garnet Hill Lodge was for their pavilion structure that serves as the backup rain plan, and we did end up having the ceremony in the pavilion due to rain. The wedding ceremony was still perfect as you can see the trees and mountains in the background from the clear covered side panels in the pavilion. The food is amazing at Garnet Hill Lodge - so many of our guests came up to us to say how great the food was. The drinks were also great and their bartender Josh was very nice! It was also super convenient that all our guests were able to stay onsite at the lodge on the night of the wedding. We highly recommend having your wedding at Garnet Hill Lodge!

We had the best day of our lives this weekend and It was due in no small part to the wonderful staff at Garnet Hill Lodge. We live in Brooklyn, but go to the Adirondacks every fall...
and the second we saw the property we knew that it would be the perfect place to gather our loved ones from all over the country. Pictures do not do it justice! It really is the most cozy property perfect for people to gather.
From the very beginning Nicole was communicative and flexible, we really were able to customize their wedding package to fit our exact needs. They were very transparent about all of their pricing and we never had any extra charges creep up on us, which I really appreciated. In fact our final bill was actually slightly lower than the estimate we received!
They were flexible but offered a lot of helpful guidance up to the day of the wedding. We had planned for dancing in the pavilion but when the weather indicated it might be too cold Nicole calmly let us know and suggested a really wonderful alternative that was then executed flawlessly by the staff.
One of the many reasons that I chose to have my wedding here was that it was the most all inclusive venue I had found. Not only do they have on site accommodations for up to 72 (we were able to fit 45 with several singles), but they have tables, chairs, beautiful linens, the pavilion as a rain plan. They even have on site shuttles to pick up guests in town, if you have planed a wedding you know this is huge! They also do all catering in house. We were so pleasantly surprised by all of their food, it really was delicious and everyone was kept full and happy all weekend. People would not stop talking about the mini bbq tarts we had for cocktail hour, and the bacon at breakfast!
Lastly I just have to shout out the staff. They really were amazing, so attentive and kind. Nicole organized everyone and all of the vendors so we could just be fully present and enjoy the day. Lucy set out all of my decor perfectly, everything looked one hundred times better than I had envisioned. Joshua was the best best best, so funny and kind literally knew my drink and would send one out to the dance floor for me!
My only piece of wedding advice is to book Garnet Hill Lodge!

t beautiful venue, the staff here was more than helpful and ALL the food was absolutely delicious! Nicole was such an amazing wedding coordinator at Garnet Hill Lodge. She had great communication with us and gave us lots of information and worksheets to help plan the wedding. Whatever we needed, she made sure to accommodate us and our guests! Lucy the dining captain and Josh the bartender were both fabulous to work with too, ensuring that we had the best service possible! The staff placed all our decor perfectly as we described, and the timeline of our event went seamlessly with their help. We loved having access to the lake, tennis courts, and disc golf course. It was like a mini vacation for all of our guests! Some guests even told us that it was the best wedding they have ever been to! We are so happy that we went with Garnet Hill Lodge as our venue, it couldn't have been a more perfect wedding!

My husband and I got married at Garnet Hill Lodge in October of 2024, renting out the lodge for the whole weekend. It was everything that we hoped our Adirondack wedding would be....
The Adirondacks are our home away from home. We drive up to the area at least once a season, and we knew that we'd have an Adirondack wedding before we even got engaged.
Garnet Hill first came to our attention as one of the best cross country skiing spots in NY state, and we visited the lodge for a few winters in a row. In addition to the expansive network of trails, we enjoyed the great food and cozy evenings by the fire in the Log House. We knew the views were stunning and the staff were always kind and helpful. But once we got engaged and actually started reaching out to potential venues, Garnet Hill quickly established itself as the frontrunner.
Of all the places we spoke to - or were actually able to get in touch with - Nicole at GHL was by far the warmest and most responsive. She was an excellent guide through our planning journey, checking in, answering our (many many) questions, and letting us know if we were ahead of the game or needed to catch up in certain areas. Nicole was well-organized and took notes every time we spoke, helping us to gradually craft a Wedding Weekend timeline and Wedding Day timeline that kept us all on track. Nicole and the rest of the Garnet Hill team were also flexible with our special requests for beverages and food, seamlessly accommodating allergies and a variety of diets.
The whole weekend was perfect. While there was naturally some stress getting 70 guests up to the Adirondacks for a fall wedding without the help of a planner, there was never a hiccup that Nicole and team didn’t help us navigate quickly and without drama. It was awesome to have the whole lodge to ourselves, and hanging out with our loved ones by the fire the night before the Big Day put us in a lovely headspace.
On the morning of, Nicole and her team worked with our vendors and set up all of the decor we brought, understanding our vision and making sure everything looked fabulous. That made it easy for us to focus on getting ready, taking photos, and, you know, getting married! I work in events myself, and knew I’d have a tough time letting go of the day-of execution, but the Garnet Hill staff made our Wedding Day stress free. Many of our guests raved that our wedding was one of the best weddings they’d ever been to.
Garnet Hill Lodge and its staff showcase the beauty and hospitality of the Adirondacks spectacularly. We were so thankful we could share this special place with our friends and family.

We lucked out with the weather on our wedding day, but should it rain, they have a screened in pavilion, so you’re basically still getting the same gorgeous view and are protected from the weather. There’s so much for you and your guests to do right at Garnet Hill, with access to the hiking/biking/skiing trails and the lake. All the staff there were phenomenal. The venue coordinator (Nicole) was amazing. She was super responsive and helped us with anything and everything. She checked in with us frequently throughout the planning process to help us stay on track. She thinks of everything and is really flexible - if you have a specific request, she makes sure it’s done. The rest of the staff at the lodge were really awesome, too. All of our guests kept raving about how friendly and helpful everyone was. It was so nice not having to stress about setting anything up the morning of the wedding - they set everything up exactly how we had discussed with them. And the food was great - everyone had great things to say. We were so happy we decided to get married there. We’re looking forward to having such a special place to go back to and visit for years to come!

g trails, and a bonfire with complimentary s'mores each night. The staff were exemplary, especially Lucy, Nicole, Ana, Joshua, and Mark. We felt that they genuinely cared that we were having a good time and worked hard to make our day special. Nicole watched the weather for me because the forecast predicted rain, and rain it did. But, she came up with an idea to shorten cocktail hour and move up the time for dinner because the rain was due to stop by 7:00. She knew we wanted to take pictures outside and came up with a solution to make it happen, for which we will be forever grateful! The ceremony had to take place in the pavilion but the building is so cozy and romantic with the string lights that I wouldn't have traded that experience for anything. Lucy and the chef brainstormed to come up with meals that my mother with her various allergies could safely eat which was greatly appreciated as well. They took the worrying off our hands. The whole weekend, welcome dinner and wedding, went perfectly smoothly in the staff's very capable hands. Everyone there was so warm and welcoming and just so kind to us. They really went the extra mile. We'll definitely be coming back to visit for years and years.

We got married here on Aug 24, 2024 and it was nothing short of incredible. From the beautiful location, delicious food and dedicated staff, Garnet Hill Lodge absolutely delivered....
We arrived on Friday and were welcomed with open arms and a thoughtful gift to kick off our wedding weekend. They encouraged us to take full advantage of all their activities and amenities on site and in the local community.
Once there, I felt like everything was fully taken care of and I did not have to worry about anything except enjoying myself and getting married! The day of wedding went so smoothly. I'd been told by so many friends that inevitably something would go wrong on the day of our wedding, but I can wholeheartedly say it went perfectly, with much thanks to GHL!! They worked seamlessly with the other vendors on site, including the photographer, baker and DJ to make sure we were well taken care of and stressfree. By the end of the weekend, I had multiple wedding guests come up and say it was the best wedding they had been to. Other guests said they would be recommending this location to anyone they knew who would be getting married (as will I!).
Overall an absolutely wonderful experience and we cannot wait to be back to relive our perfect wedding weekend.

nized and experienced and helped us make decisions. She was very attentive to detail which helped transform the space into our vision. Garnet Hill Lodge is the perfect combination of higher class cabin and summer camp. The cabin has so many rustic details with a laid-back vibe. We could not have found an Airbnb that slept as many people, and that had the view that the Lodge had. Guests got to enjoy an incredible view of the Adirondacks and 13th lake during the welcome dinner, the ceremony, cocktail hour, bonfires, or their morning breakfast. The lodge had so many amenities including beautiful rooms with a view, a buffet breakfast, lake access with float out docks, kayak and canoe rentals, disc golf, hiking in the Adirondacks, and mountain biking all on site. The food was incredible and the kitchen staff truly out did themselves. They also do incredible job maintaining the property. The grass was so green, and the property was blooming with flowers in summer. The best part is that will be able to return time and time again with our family for a weekend in the mountains at the lodge so we can share the special place with them. We cannot say great things about Garnet Hill.

new it was where I wanted to get married.
The experience couldn't have been more perfect for our wedding day. I have grown up in the area, but moved down to Philadelphia and wanted my friends that lived there to have the 'Adirondack experience'. I don't think any of them will ever forget the memories made that weekend.
The lodge is very rustic, on the top of a mountain with the most breathtaking views of the Adirondacks. What also really attracted me is that they have trails, a dock, a beach and other amenities for you and your guests to enjoy - my favorite being a huge firepit for all of us to sit by and enjoy ourselves. Some of our friends played pool in their game room until 5 am! Others went on hikes the morning of the ceremony. There was a little bit of everything for any guest to enjoy.
Nicole was just so amazing helping me plan together everything for the day. Again, being in Philly, I needed someone that could help communicate via email or phone versus in person and she provided just that to me. Any questions I had (and trust me, some were silly!) she had an answer for, as well as for my dad (who could not have been easy to deal with). She also helped provide me with a list of recommended vendors that really helped take some stress off of me - we ended up using a decent amount off the list!! Anything I needed, I knew Nicole was there for me.
Lucy who coordinated the dinner couldn't have been more on top of her stuff! I don't think she took a moment to breathe the entire weekend honestly!! Instead of assuming, she would approach me with any questions regarding decor or even about my nut allergy which I thought was great. Not all places really take that care into consideration.
All in all, when I look back at the weekend we had there I tear up. It was honestly just so perfect, if I could re-live the day I would a thousand times over.

g about how good the food was, how amazing and kind every single staff member was, and what an incredible environment this was to celebrate in. We wanted to create a time and space where all of our loved ones could gather for a weekend and enjoy time with each other, and Garnet Hill was just that. Every small tiny detail was thought through by the staff, Nicole was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process. Patrick lead about 20 of our guests on a hike to the Garnet Mine the morning of the ceremony, and was an awesome bar tender! We cannot say enough good things about Garnet Hill. Looking forward to returning to celebrate anniversaries to come!

re that the lodge understood exactly what we wanted and helped guide us through the planning process. We had the entire property to ourselves for the weekend—which meant almost all of our family and friends were able to stay at the lodge. It is charming, well-appointed, and clean.
On Friday night we did a barbecue which everyone loved! The food was amazing, and it gave us time to chat with our wedding guests, soak in the views, and enjoy the bonfire. On Saturday before the wedding our guests enjoyed going on a guided hike led by the a Garnet Hill staff member (thanks Patrick!) and exploring the beautiful nature surrounding the lodge. Then came the wedding ceremony—our guests are still talking about the stunning views and we love all our wedding photos!
The cocktail hour was fun, the dinner was intimate, the service was seamless, and the food was delicious! The dining room looked stunning, thanks to Lucy and the rest of the Garnet Hill team. We did dancing outside under the beautiful new pavilion and had late-night pizza after building up an appetite on the dance floor. Overall, the Garnet Hill team was incredibly flexible, professional, and friendly. Our wedding weekend was perfect!!

ll Lodge. We and our 70 guests stayed Friday afternoon through Sunday morning and had an incredible wedding weekend. Nicole and her team were absolutely amazing in every way. The staff were attentive, friendly and efficient. Our guests were complimenting the service at every meal. The front desk staff could not have made the check in process more easy for our guests staying onsite. When we had to unexpectedly move some guest rooms on Friday night due to unforeseen circumstances with an offsite rental, Ana was extremely helpful and efficient with helping with this process. Every meal we had during our stay was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, the BBQ buffet Friday night was a hit and the reception food was unreal. We opted for the reception food to be buffet style and it worked out perfectly for our guests. The kitchen were more then accommodating for our dietary restricted guests and also labeled and food allergies with each deal. Coffee, tea, and water were always available in the lobby for our guests. Our guests were never bored and took full advantage of the lake, mountain bikes and the beautiful back porch. Special thanks to Patrick for taking 38 of our guests on a guided hike to Hooper Mine on Saturday morning. Even my 86 year old grandfather was able to participate! Thank you to Nicole, Lucy, Patrick, Ana, Paula, Erin, Kristen and everyone else who worked tirelessly the entire weekend to make our experience amazing. Everything from the decor, to the food, to the service, to the facilities were outstanding. If you are looking to have a wedding that is private and more then just the traditional 6-8 hours, I cannot recommend Garnet Hill Lodge enough. Staying the whole weekend with our guests gave us time to relax, talk individually with every attendee and more importantly, spend uninterrupted time as just the two of us. Our guests left saying it was best wedding they had ever been to!

o have the place to ourselves for the whole weekend, and all of our guests were so impressed with the views. We are from North Carolina, so they also helped out finding vendors in the area to help make the wedding day even better, and they helped us through our laundry list of questions for all things as we prepared. The big thing for us was the plethora of food allergies and restrictions we had with the guests of our wedding. They were extremely accommodating to help make sure that everyone could fully enjoy the weekend with us.
We were obviously busy getting ready, so we weren’t able to enjoy the amenities, like hiking or canoeing, but our guests loved it! Every single one of our guests had nothing but rave reviews to say about the lodge and the staff that worked there. They were extremely helpful in all facets of the weekend. We have already talked about coming back for an anniversary to get our chance to enjoy all of these perks.

ble, the rooms super comfortable, and the food truly delicious. But mostly this review is about the people. Nicole organized our planning chaos and many questions graciously and calmly. Patrick was the ultimate hike guide and regional expert. Jeff and the maintenance/grounds team were somehow always around when you needed them and incredibly helpful. Lucy and the dining room staff were awesome and put us all at ease. Paula and Ana and the rest of the reception team helped solve all sorts of small on-the-ground confusions. The whole team was great to work with and quick with a smile. We cannot recommend Garnet Hill Lodge enough and we cannot wait to make it part of our annual vacation plan. Honestly, this was a much longer and more glowing review, but my husband made me adjust it so it didn't sound like we were paid to write it :)

icole had made it very easy to plan a wedding from out of town because her communication was great. They took care of all of my requests and handled all of the decorating. They made my day less stressful. The weather did not cooperate for the ceremony, but Nicole and Lucy had a plan B and it was still perfect. We got married under the pavilion and it was gorgeous.
The food was absolutely delicious!!!! 5 stars!!!! We hosted a welcome dinner and reception dinner and our guests could not stop raving about the food. Even the breakfast buffet each morning was delicious. They also accommodated food requests for my 2 and 5 year olds.
The staff is wonderful! We met Lucy when we arrived Thursday, and she was just fantastic. There were no other guests that evening and she offered to stay to tend the bar for us. It was nice talking to her and getting to know her. She was so helpful the whole weekend!
The Lodge itself is charming, cozy, and incredibly clean. The views from the balcony rooms are incredible. The flowerbeds around the lodge are stunning. Pictures do not do justice. The Garnet Hill Lodge exceeded my expectations in every single way. We will definitely be coming back for a visit

This extended to the wedding weekend itself, when the team at GHL provided us with an outstanding experience, including (but not limited to!) the venue coordinator, Jessica, the dining room captain, Lucy, the head bartender, Erin, and the caretaker/hike leader/outdoor bartender, Patrick. All of the staff at GHL were extremely positive to work with, making a weekend full of logistical hurdles feel like a team effort to throw a perfect party. Additionally, the lodge and grounds provided an unbeatable setting. The lawn, with expansive mountain and lake views, was the perfect setting for our ceremony, cocktail hour, bonfire, and mingling space for our guests to meet and enjoy each other’s company. The newly-constructed, screened in pavilion provided an incredible space to dance the night away under fairy lights hung from the wood beams. The main dining room of the lodge provided the perfect rustic and warm setting for our wedding dinner and casual hangouts with our guests. Guests enjoyed the clean and comfortable accommodations in the lodge and other on-site buildings. Last but not least, the grounds provided an unparalleled outdoor experience, with many of our guests taking advantage of the hiking trails and beach on Thirteenth Lake. The grounds also provided a variety of breathtaking backdrops for wedding photos that we will cherish forever. The rustic charm of the setting was complimented by delicious food, often incorporating an Adirondack flair into familiar favorites. Many guests commented on the quality of the meals, from morning breakfast, to the wedding night hors d'oeuvres and dinner, to late night pizza. The flexibility of the venue was also a huge benefit, with our questions regarding meal options, locations, and timings being met with enthusiastic solutions. We would definitely choose Garnet Hill Lodge over and over again for the wonderful experience that we had here. If you are looking for a venue that provides a warm, welcoming, and charming space to gather your loved ones for an unbeatable celebration, this is the place for you.

ssociated with our review is a reflection of the administrative aspects of working with GHL (planning, coordination, and finance). It is not a reflection of the staff who worked our event.
POSITIVES: The staff is outrageously welcoming. You simply cannot beat the view and grounds. The pavilion was a stunning location for our reception dinner. Food portions are generous. GHL may have the best breakfast sausage we've ever eaten, and the welcome BBQ was outstanding. The fire pit is 10/10. We accidentally left a few items behind - as did a few of our guests - and GHL graciously mailed them back to folks.
NEGATIVES: The short story is that GHL made errors that resulted in significant stress and unexpected financial burden on us. We had to slog through things during contracting that were promised before we gave our deposit. Turn-around time to resolve questions and issues routinely took weeks. GHL gave us a quote - before booking - that underestimated our open bar by over 100%. This resulted in over $2K of unexpected expenses, across two nights of open bar. The issue was compounded because GHL was unable to provide a liquor list price sheet. GHL acknowledged they made a significant error on the estimate. However, they didn’t offer to make it right or mitigate the financial burden they passed onto us. Additionally, the final bill contained significant mistakes, including on the two largest line items - welcome dinner and reception dinner. The issues with the final bill required us to work directly with the lodge manager, who swiftly and professionally resolved the errors. Overall, we were exhausted by the effort it took to manage the relationship with this venue. From an administrative perspective, we didn’t feel like we were in a partnership with a venue who valued our experience.
SUGGESTIONS: Our read of the situation was that we had the unfortunate timing of working with this venue through growing pains - both physical changes to the grounds, as well as inexperienced administrative staff. Things did get easier once we started working directly with the lodge manager.
We hope GHL grows into a full service wedding venue, but based on our experience, they are not there yet. We encourage GHL to have their senior administrative staff more closely manage their junior administrative staff. Especially for multi-day events. We also encourage them to establish structured planning processes, clear rate sheets, and to review how they take responsibility for mistakes.
Event management is a hard job. Structured planning processes, in addition to timely, skilled communication are all necessary for the success of both the venue and the customer. We chose GHL, in no small part, due to the amazing reviews. We may have had an unusual experience, but sadly (truly, sadly) it was the experience we had.

ng, hiking, mountain biking) offered through the lodge, it felt like luxury sleep away camp. The food was delicious and unique. The staff was friendly and professional. Their wedding coordinator Jess was a pleasure to work with throughout the process and was very accommodating! They just built a new, high-end pavilion, with retractable screens to keep bugs at bay. It was perfect to set the tone for a fun and vibrant dance floor. Some people have told us that ours is the best. We had about 125 guests, about half stayed on site. When the weekend was over, people didn’t want to leave. They were having so much fun. When my brother got home, he called me and said he was sad in the way that a kid was who just left camp after and amazing summer. I am a little biased, but it was the best wedding I’ve ever been to— and I have very happy that we went with Garnet Hill Lodge. We created lasting memories there, and cannot wait to visit again to celebrate anniversaries!

s were recently updated so they were very lodge-chic for our guests. We were looking for a venue where we could have most of the guests stay on the grounds, we didn't have to use any shuttle bus and enjoyed a fun-filled weekend Friday to Sunday, with the place completely ours. We did a BBQ Friday night which was so delicious, did a sit down dinner Saturday night and used the new outdoor pavilion for dancing. Our guests enjoyed the grounds for lawn games and the lake during the day. We had big bonfires both nights. I am very into home decorating and Garnet was accommodating, letting me bring a ton of decor in to make the lodge feel a little more stylish. They also agreed to hang a ton of hanging lights which made for perfect ambience. Dwayne, the Manager, was amazing - he ensured renovations were done in time and even brought in our favorite donuts, Duck Donuts, from Albany! It was truly a magical weekend, it went so smoothly and we had such a wonderful time! PS - we lucked out and had no issues with black flies! so that was something we realized we didn't have to worry about like we had thought. Would highly recommend if you want an outdoors weekend with a beautiful view, good food, and a location where you can reserve the entire place/grounds for just you and your guests!

ow about this Adirondack hidden gem and how perfect it was for us. The venue has so many gorgeous spots for photos and the view from the front lawn is unbeatable with the lake and mountains in the background. My husband and I were able to do our first look on the dock that extends out onto the lake. It made for some pretty amazing photos! My bridesmaids and I stayed at The Birches (one of the houses on the property) which has a common room that was the perfect private spot for all of us to get ready. Between the lodge itself and all the nearby houses for rent, many of our family and friends were able to stay right on the property for the full weekend. There was plenty of things for our guests to do, including hiking and canoeing on the Garnet Hill property and exploring the nearby town of North Creek. One of the staff members even led some of our family members on a hike the day after the wedding.
Not only was the venue beautiful, but the staff were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and the wedding day itself. Nicole was amazing and worked with us throughout all of the planning to make sure we were happy with every little detail. Everything was thought of and taken care of ahead of time, so once the wedding weekend came we were fully able to relax and enjoy our time. The food was so delicious and the kitchen staff catered to some of our guest's dietary restrictions. They even set aside appetizers for us since we were taking pictures during the cocktail hour. The bar staff was also excellent and provided us with some local beer we specifically requested. From the groundskeeper to the waiters and waitresses, the whole staff did everything they could on the weekend of the wedding to make sure everyone had a great time. Even our guests commented on how great the staff were!

We found Garnet Hill 14 months before our wedding, and communication was everything I needed and more over that time. Nicole put my mind at ease by answering all of my questions thoroughly, including some I know I asked more than once, and was there to make sure the entire weekend went exactly the way we wanted. Lucy and the banquet, maintenance, and bar staff helped ensure my vision was executed, and I felt so comfortable after so many months of planning that everything was in good hands!
The staff helped execute a perfect Friday night welcome BBQ (the food was absolutely delicious, the kitchen staff did an amazing job, as did the bar staff) and ensured our guests got just the right introduction to the Central Adirondacks by recommending activities for during the day Saturday before the reception. The owner even led a guided hike Saturday morning!
After breakfast, the staff had to transform the Lodge and grounds on ceremony day and set up the ton of boxes of decorations we brought. It was more perfect than I imagined it could be, including all the little details I envisioned for the reception. So many staff members played a part in it, and for that, I'm so truly grateful! The food was excellent - a feat hard to manage for nearly 100 guests - and the pies were the perfect dessert. They served the bride and groom early, which I very much appreciated :) And breakfast Sunday was amazing - great food, great service, and a perfect way to end the celebration.
Great views and scenery are abundant in the Adirondacks, and Garnet Hill Lodge has those, but it's such a incredibly special place, and the people running it make it that way. It was our perfect wedding spot, and I can't wait to keep going back for getaways and anniversaries!

time there, ceremony, reception dinner and after party, and felt like we were royalty. Aside from the slightly high costs of room rentals (it's peak season after all), the stay was romantic and relaxing. Food from Chef Thomas was out of this world, including the vegetarian options and special request hors d'ouevres. There is no better place to really get into the Adirondack feeling than GHL. My new husband and I are headed back up this weekend for a honeymoon dinner, it was that great! Our wedding was small (only 24 guests), but we were the most important people in the world Thursday through Sunday. I highly recommend at the very least a weekend getaway here. I am one happy bride!
