My experience with Garnished Events left much to be desired. Despite having high hopes for a beautifully decorated wedding venue, I was thoroughly disappointed with the services provided. Here's why I cannot recommend this wedding decorator. To begin with, communication with Garnished Events was a constant struggle. It often took several days for them to respond to emails or return phone calls, which created unnecessary stress during the planning process. There were multiple instances where I had to follow up multiple times to get a response, leaving me frustrated and concerned about their reliability. On the day of the wedding, the decorations fell short of my expectations. The overall design lacked creativity and attention to detail. It felt as though they put minimal effort into the setup. The centerpiece arrangements were haphazardly put together, and some of the flowers appeared scarce and cheap. The lackluster decorations didn't create the ambiance I had envisioned and left me feeling underwhelmed. Additionally, there were several errors and inconsistencies with the decorations. The quality of the backdrop linens provided were not the material we discussed, and they were wrinkled! It seemed as though the decorator didn't pay attention to the details outlined during our meetings and failed to execute our vision accurately. Furthermore, the decorator's lack of professionalism was apparent throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding, they arrived late, causing unnecessary stress, and delaying other aspects of the setup. During our walkthrough meeting, which was four months before the wedding, Garnished Events assured they would have a team on the day of to execute the design due to the short time provided by the venue to decorate the space. On the day of, there was only one team member from Garnished Events at the venue to decorate. She seemed disorganized and uncoordinated, which led to a rushed and subpar execution of the decor. To make matters worse, when we voiced our concerns and disappointment after the wedding, the decorator showed little interest in addressing our issues. They were dismissive and offered no meaningful solutions or apologies for their shortcomings. Their lack of accountability and customer service left a sour taste in our mouths. Overall, my experience with Garnished Events was deeply unsatisfactory. The lack of communication, subpar decorations, errors, and unprofessionalism were significant letdowns. If you're looking for a decorator who will bring your vision to life with creativity, attention to detail, and professionalism, I would advise looking elsewhere.

Cliffs - Would not recommend - Event didn't fail because of my Wife's planning and the other caterers I have conflicting emotions when it comes to reviewing garnished events. Generally, I prefer not to leave negative feedback as I don't want to harm someone's business. However, in this particular case, I believe it is necessary. We had booked Sheena Lee several months in advance for the coordination of our wedding ceremony and reception. My wife had provided her with all the necessary information and details regarding the tasks involved. Regrettably, Sheena did not fulfill her role in coordinating our guests for the photography sessions during the reception. We had a guest list in place to ensure everything ran smoothly, yet she even asked my sister-in-law to step in and perform some of her duties. Moreover, Sheena failed to print out the documentation containing the specifics of the table decorations for our guests, despite having verbally agreed to assist my wife with this task. It was disheartening for my wife, who had invested a significant amount of time planning these details and had sent them to Sheena in advance. If we had known that she wouldn't follow through, we would have hired our stage decorator to handle these responsibilities. To her credit, Sheena did resolve an issue with the last-minute table stand flowers, which was commendable. However, during the reception, she lacked a clear timeline of events, neglecting to inform my in-laws about when their speech would take place and other pertinent information. Consequently, my mother-in-law was unable to deliver her meticulously prepared speech at our wedding. Moreover, we experienced delays in adhering to our strict timeline throughout the reception. Sheena did help us dismantle the table decorations, but her overall presence at the event seemed lacking, and it appeared as though she wasn't fully focused on the task at hand. Considering our experience, I'm hesitant to recommend Sheena's services. We invested a considerable amount of money and were ultimately disappointed with the outcome.

Unfortunately, this vendor was the worst to work with of all of them. The communication was poor. I had to remind them several times of what I wanted despite making a PowerPoint a year ahead of time. On the day of, the decorations were so lackluster the guests never even commented on them when we asked for feedback. Guests commented on EVERY single vendor except the decor and florals. Yes, even the photographer and videographer. We said “How did you feel about the decor and florals?” and they said “Oh yeah. Truthfully, I didn’t notice.” The decor/florals were the second largest chunk of our budget. Most of what I asked for was there, but that’s all it was - there. There was no creativity. The florals on our circle arch were too sparse in proportion to the size of the arch itself, and it was the first thing I noticed walking down the aisle with my father into our wedding ceremony. It feels like we wasted a lot of money going with this vendor. I do not recommend.

Let us start by saying that on our day, 3.11.22, decor was incredible. Everything was beautiful and as discussed, Garnished Events succeeded in the vision we requested. It was nice to see Sheena at end of the night and thank her for all her hard work on steaming the table cloths, customizing the pearl design on the napkins, and fulfilling our Great Gatsby theme, in addition to the stunning large white feathers. Wow. Nothing but compliments from the guests and us! However, communication over the course of several months throughout the process, was rough. We often felt like we were bothering them and often went weeks without responses — in addition to being told they were very busy and our wedding wasn’t until March, plus we weren’t their “full bride or client/ couple” since we only paid for decor. The evolving aspect of the bill was also confusing, but when they did explain it, it was helpful. While there were some personal situations outside of their control that impeded timely communications, we felt overall that communication wasn’t great. Email can come across snarky, but if said with the right tone and message, can make all the difference. That would be our best recommendation for Garnished. In addition, we booked this vendor almost 8 months before our wedding — only to be called a few months before and told we were not in their service area. They found a solution that was no cost to us, but we were very stressed much of the time. At the end of the day, our wedding turned out beautiful. I have nothing but kind words for Garnished-Events. Our original Day of Coordinator was unable to help with our wedding about two months before our wedding, and Garnished-Events luckily had availability. I could not be happier with working with them. Sheena was great, organized, and detail-oriented. She thought of things that never crossed my mind. It really helped me out, and it was great that she was able to run with all that I had planned for the wedding so far. She offered suggestions based on her experience, and I was grateful for it. She also had her team, Linda and Alondra with her. They were fantastic to work with as well! I highly recommend hiring her and her team for your event! You will not regret it.

Sheena and her team planned and decorated our wedding!!! Look at these photos! I wanted glam. She gave me glam. I wanted bright and beautiful and she did that! The planning was tricky because of Covid, so not many guest attended. However, we live streamed it and it was beautiful! Thank you Sheena! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Sheena was amazing! She coordinated my entire wedding from start to finish! She went over and beyond! She even attended my dress appointment because I knew I would've been indecisive AND I knew she would have been honest and transparent! Which, she was and it was exactly what I needed! How awesome is that! I never felt like "just another bride" or a "paying client." She really took the time to get to know me and understood what I needed my wedding day to look like. EXACTLY why I also hired Garnished-Events to do my Decorating. Not only did I hire a wedding planner, but I gained a friend. (Cheesy... I know! But it's true!) I RECOMMEND!!!

Sheena and her team were amazing! They literally took the vision I had of the wedding in my head and made it into a reality! They got it! I had such a hard time explaining exactly what I had in mind. I used multiple Pinterest boards and random images I found on the internet and presented it to them. It was a lot to sort through and put together to create the final picture and they NAILED IT! EXCEEDED my expectations! Thank you! These women are amazing!

Hello, my name is Cami. I hired Garnished-Events for my wedding on June 13th, 2020. I was most impressed about their ability to cover everything I was seeking. They did our Wedding Planning, Decorations, Bartender and Server Staffing. Every aspect of the wedding was done with care and turned out beautifully. At first, I didn't think I could afford a wedding planner. However, I really didn't want to plan a wedding myself. The stress alone was too much to bare! ESPECIALLY during a pandemic! Our venue recommended Garnished-Events to us. So, I inquired about their Bridal Journey package. It was EXACTLY what I needed. I paid only $1,000 down to start my planning with their team. I gave them my budget, and they started to work. They added a 20% service fee to all of my vendor invoicing, which staying in my budget, it felt painless. It was almost as if I was paying a tip, which I tip naturally anyway. It was truly seamless. They stuck to my original budget at made it happen. The cool part, is they have access and relationships with vendors, I would have never known about. How awesome, right?! Sheena was my Wedding Planner. Honestly, getting married is stressful enough. These ladies are fun, real and they "get it". I am so grateful for the experience. My wedding could not have been what is was without them. I would DEFINETLY recommend their services! Thank you.

I don't even know where to begin...Sheena was the absolute best! She was on point the entire day/evening! She helped with every aspect of our wedding from coordinating to setting up to cleaning up! I couldn't recommend Sheena and Garnished-events more! Well worth every penny!! She made our day extra AMAZING!!

I hired Sheena from Garnished-Events to plan my enchanting rustic wedding! Rustic with a hint of GLAM! Our venue was beautiful! She was our Panner and Designer! Sheena was there for me from the very beginning. Her team was helpful and were always able to assist! Alondra was a doll too! She accompanied me to my makeup consultations and made sure I looked perfect! They listened to my vision and always put my needs and best interest first! They executed what I wanted perfectly and exceeded our expectations! I’m so happy I trust them with my wedding!
