I can honestly say that choosing Gathered Events was THE best decision I made throughout my whole wedding planning process. I thought I could do it myself, and when I didn't realize I actually needed to have a wedding coordinator until about 2 ...months before the wedding, I pretty much already had all my major vendors booked already. So, I booked them with the intention of having them just coordinate my ceremony. Lo and behold, there was SO much I was missing that Brittney brought attention to. She kept me updated and in the loop of things constantly and was so incredibly patient despite my busy work schedule. She was so flexible with all my requests as well and had so much to offer throughout the planning process.
My wedding required a room flip which I was originally going to have my family and wedding party help with, but she so kindly offered an extra team member to help with everything so that they could enjoy the wedding themselves. Also, because a majority of the centerpieces was provided by me, a lot of setup was involved. I even gave her full control over how to decorate the head table since I couldn't think of a particular design. The team worked so fast and efficiently and made the reception room so gorgeous! You couldn't even tell a room flip happened that quickly!
Everything that happened the day of went so smoothly. We started off the day late and there were some hiccups throughout the schedule because of that. Plus, I wanted to do some extra things that wasn't part of the original plan (ie going table to table during reception, taking family pictures in front of the altar) but she was so accommodating with every delay and change.
Overall, Brittney and team exceeded all my expectations and my day truly couldn't have gone the way it did without their help. If you're on the edge of hiring a planner/coordinator, DO IT. If you're considering Gathered Events, DO IT! I promise you won't regret it!
