Our wedding was wonderful, largely because of the wonderful team at Opryland! It was a fairy tale. Sarah helped us set everything up and made the entire experience as relaxing as it can be for the bride.
For brides considering this venue, don’t get sticker shock when you first see the numbers. Opryland was one of the most reasonable venues, once you crunch the numbers. The difference is that they are up front with how much it will cost. Other venders had a ton of hidden costs. Trust me, my sister got married in Nashville and fell for the low sticker price of another venue, that ending up costing way more than my venue, for half the quality.
The team at Opryland are amazing and they work hard to make your day perfect. There is no better place to get married!
Went to stay for first night of honeymoon and we received a very good upgrade of a room. It was marvelous!!
Beautiful location makes for great wedding photos, but they don't have it together at all! We went through 4 different coordinators, never had communication between one person to the next. They billed me for the wrong wedding and refuse to correct their errors.. Wedding coordinator was a let-down, did not deliver what they promised. Great wedding night accommodations, but that was the highlight.. The 9 month planning experience was not what I hoped for from my wedding, especially not for the amount we paid them! If anything could have gone wrong, it did. Wedding day turned out nice, but after all the stress they caused me, I wish I would have just eloped. Think twice before booking a wedding or event with Opryland, at least until they get their stuff together.
I cant not say enough wonderful things about Maureen Morris and the entire catering/event team at Opryland. I had my dream wedding and reception here on 12/19/15 at the Delta Pavilion for about 80 guests. It was absolutely stunning. I planned my wedding from across the country (California) and Maureen ensured that no detail was too small to be overlooked!! The food is spectacular, the staff is beyond kind and accommodating, and you can not ask for a better, or more stunning, atmosphere. While it is pricey to have your wedding here, it is worth every penny for the one of a kind, world class service and attention you receive. They upgraded us to a gorgeous bridal suite the days before the wedding so we could stage and prepare on site. The night of the wedding Maureen and her team had a bottle of champagne, chocolates, and personalized linens as a surprise for my new husband and I in our room. Like I said, she is AMAZING. If you are a bride or groom planning a destination wedding in Nashville this is your place!!
The event manager, Maureen Morris, is absolutely amazing. She is very involved with brides and quickly responds to any questions and concerns that are brought to her attention. She is there with you to hammer through details and get you in contact with those that can help you when(or rather, if) she cannot! She was absolutely amazing.
I will say though that the wedding coordinator was not as reliable. She was very sweet and did her best to make my day what I hoped for, but only allowing for one(included) meeting left a lot of details up in the air when it came to the big day. For the cost, things should be more organized and flow easier than they did. If you do choose here, definitely be sure to keep your coordinator on watch. They have so many events, sometimes the details are lost.
Staff was very friendly and outgoing during the event and also made my guests feel at home.
Opryland is the premier resort hotel in the Nashville area. Within the resort itself and the general area, there are many restaurant and entertainment options. It is on the pricier side but is a great option for out of town guests.
Gaylord Opryland has so much to offer with the gorgeous atriums, hotel accomodations, wonderful staff, and day of coordination by A Magical Affair!
We had our wedding at the Gaylord Springs (the golf course associated with the Resort). It was perfect! The wedding planners are a delight to work with and are available constantly. All of our guests raved about the delicious food and cake. Seriously some of the best food and cake I've ever had, and we are food lovers! It was great to get ready in the locker room and have so much privacy. The staff was kind and generous. Cannot thank the team there enough!!
I held my wedding ceremony at Opryland's delta pavilion and reception at the Gaylord Springs. The location is picture perfect. The staff, including the wedding coordinators, are amazing! They were super accomodating to myself and my guest requests. We even customized a special menu. Prior to booking the venue, I hired another wedding planner who ended up bailing on my the day before the wedding, and Courtney and her team pulled everything together flawlessly! You DO NOT need to hire a wedding coordinator or planner if you book your wedding here. The magical affair team comes with the package and is amazing! I couldn't have dreamed up a better wedding. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was unbeatable. It was worth every penny spent.
We stayed here for my bachelorette party. Everything was wonderful!
I had my wedding at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, and it was simply amazing. I had a very small wedding of about 20 people and it was the perfect venue for an intimate setting. It was everything I dreamed of and more. The staff and wedding coordinator worked very hard and were very accommodating. Opryland is such an amazing conservatory, with waterfalls and just a beautiful array of plants. It is breathtaking. I am so happy that I was able to have my wedding at such a wonderful place.
We got the surprise of a lifetime when we arrived at the Gaylord Opryland after our wedding and reception. They had upgraded us to the Presidential Suite. What a wonderful way to start our honeymoon and new life together. We can not thank them enough!
Opryland is a great place to have a wedding. Its beautiful as is so you don't need to spend a lot on decorations. The staff is super friendly and they treat you like VIPs. Your guests will definitely be wow'ed by the place. They have packages that fit all types of budgets. It's perfect!
This is a wonderful place to spend your honeymoon. We ate at the old hickory steakhouse which was amazing. Possibly the best steak I have ever eaten. We also had a couples massage at the spa there. It was fabulous and relaxing. The staff was so nice and the hotel is beautiful.
Opryland is absolutely beautiful. The staff and hotel went above and beyond to help us with everything. We couldn't have asked for a more breathtaking ceremony site and reception ballroom. I would recommend this venue to anyone.
Opryland was absolutely gorgeous and the shows were great. My husband and I had issues with our room reservations (which he booked nearly a month and a half prior to our honeymoon), but Opryland compensated us for the issue. Overall, loved Opryland and would go back in a heartbeat.
We met with Jonathan and the horticulture team to throw ideas around about the flowers we wanted. We picked out what we liked and on the day of the wedding the flowers, my bouquet and the centerpieces were even better than what we could have hoped for! I recieved so many compliments on how stunning my bouquet was! Amazing work!
The hotel is an absolute perfect place to get married. The scenery is beautiful, you don't have to worry about the weather, and your guests don't have to drive anywhere! I highly recommend the Opry hotel. We had a great experience there.
The Opryland hotel was a beautiful place to have the wedding! Everything turned out really well! My only concerns have been the cost, some issues with communication and parking for our guests (they had to pay for parking or walk from further away)!
Opryland helped make my wedding day perfect. It was everything I could ask for and more. They provided my bouquet (which was absolutely gorgeous - I only spoke to the florist, West on the phone and he put together EXACTLY what I had in mind), the Wedding Planner, decorations, cake, food, etc. I especially loved the fact that all of the Christmas lights and decorations were still up for my wedding. Maureen (the woman in charge of Event sales at Opryland) was so pleasant to work with and make sure that everything was taken care of exactly how I wanted. My husband and I want to go back to Opryland every year for our Anniversary. It is truly a wonderful place. You will NOT be disappointed.
They had someone for everything. The florist was one of my favorites. I gave the worst description of what I wanted and he went above and beyond. He nailed it perfectly. The wedding planner was great too. She took care of everything. They worked well with a smaller wedding in such a big space. The food was wonderful. Even the dinner tasting/cake tasting was great. Everything was well presented and wonderful. I would highly recommend getting married here. I got married on the golf course in October and could not have asked for anything better. It was perfect!!!
