Growing up in Texas, learning to cook BBQ is a must. So I did. For three years I cooked with a BBQ Team. Soon I was hooked and filled with a passion for BBQ. I started catering events and repeatedly my friends would ask, “Hey Gebby, when are you going to open up your own place?” This set the wheels in motion!
For years folks have called me “Gebby”, so naturally, Gebby’s BBQ seemed fitting. My grandfather, LT Colonel George Gebhardt, was a fighter pilot in WWII, and apparently the original Gebby! So the name is solid. Now my dreams are a reality... from my pit to your plate!

Chris, thank you so much for the tasting to answering questions about my own smoking. Just simply amazing. The food was amazing. All our guest kept asking where we found you, and we kept eating it all week after. Your staff was friendly and amazing. Having the truck there was great, and again, our guests loved it, and so did we. Thank you so much for making our day special.

The entire Gebby’s team is amazing & 100% delivered at our wedding. The food is delicious- all of our guests were cleaning plates, myself included- and leftovers were gone at the after party! You can tell how much passion and love is put into this food from the owners. Chris and Elizabeth put their hearts into this company, and we felt so comfortable and at home doing our testing! Chris talked to us like we were friends and that kind of warmth is awesome to have during a weekend celebrating love. I can’t say enough good things about Gebby’s- I’d give 10 stars if I could!!

I’m a June 2023 bride and it took me so long to write this review because there are not enough words to explain how grateful my husband and I are for Gebby’s involvement in. From our tasting, Chris was so kind and personable. He took the time to personally sit with us despite having a long line and chatted through all their options. It was hard to decide what sides we wanted to go with because of how good everything was/is. To give you context, my husband doesn’t like cole slaw but was passionate that we “NEEDED” to include it in the menu because it was that good. The process was pretty easy after that. We talked primarily through the Knot App since that’s where I found them. Elizabeth reached out to us, set up a payment plan, and actively stayed connected to us. She made sure we didn’t forget about dietary restrictions and other small details that I probably would’ve missed. Then a few weeks before the wedding, Chris gave us a call with information on what he was bringing and what he needed from us. Overall, everything was great. We got soooo many compliments from family and friends. So many people told us that the food was the best BBQ that they had ever had and the best wedding meal they had ever had. Overall, the staff was soooo helpful and courteous. I can’t stop raving to people about Gebby’s. Half of the things we got done wouldn’t have happened without their help. A million percent grateful for all their staff and customer service overall. Very well priced,

Gebby's BBQ was the perfect choice for my wedding. Not only was their food a hit with everyone, their staff was friendly and professional during the event and super easy to work with during scheduling. The first caterer I had chosen (brunch food) was bought out and canceled their contract, and I am so glad we were able to find and book Gebby's for our Sunday afternoon wedding reception. They provided cost estimates for various services and a variety of menu options, and were extremely responsive. I still think about their pulled pork several months later. Book these guys - you won't regret it!

The food was absolutely delicious. They were very communicative and answered all of out questions in less than 12 hours. It didn’t matter what day or time I messaged them, they got back to us instantly. They had a lot of options for what food they offer and at a great price.

Gebby’s catered my wedding on Oct 8th and we still can’t believe how great the food was! We had their food truck out come out for us and feed about 140 guests— with sausage, brisket, bbq sauce, bread, beans, corn and all the the fixings. Their staff was very friendly and knew exactly all of your needs before you even had to ask! They were such a great addition to our big day ❤️ We will definitely be hiring them again for other events, as well as going back to their original location for lunch/dinner when I can!!

Gebby’s was an amazing vendor!! They were super responsive from the start. Always quick to reply to emails, flexible with scheduling and wedding timeline, and offered great customer service. The tasting was delicious and so was the food at our wedding! Guests raved about the brisket and chicken. The team on site was super attentive and very accommodating. Gebby's was amazing! Their food is delicious and customer service spectacular! Many of our guests said it was the best brisket they have every had. We hired them in 2020, or maybe 2019...before having to reschedule twice due to Covid. They were wonderfully accommodating to the situation. Elizabeth was always happy to answer any questions we had and made this part of our planning a breeze. Highly recommended!

Gebby's recently catered my daughter's wedding for 135 people @ Rambling Rose Ranch. Everything was great, both service and food, especially my favorite, the brisket & mac & cheese! Elizabeth and I communicated every year from 2019 till wedding 4/2022 due to Covid wedding postponements. All was perfect & loved the leftovers! This California gal highly recommends Gebby's BBQ, it was the best!
