She made the entire process so enjoyable (and ZERO stress!) for us. From the day we contracted, throughout the entire wedding day, Meridith went above and beyond with every single detail. We LOVED having Jeni from Gemini Events as our wedding planner. She could not have been kinder and more positive throughout the wedding planning process, and we genuinely looked forward to our calls with her to catch up! We chose Jeni because we really wanted someone who knew the local Vail area and vendors well and she could not have delivered on that local expertise better. She helped us build out the best vendor team from band to hair and make up to florist. Every recommendation she gave was so good and we could not have been happier with our overall vendor team. Working with Jennifer & Meredith from Gemini was THE BEST CHOICE EVER! Our wedding was absolutely spectacular and they guided us through the entire process. Their planning, coordination, and execution was impeccable. They are incredibly detail oriented. As soon as we started working with them, they gave us a timeline that outlined what we should do at each step of the process. They had many connections with trusted vendors in the Vail Valley and were able to provide us with great choices. They were always responsive and continually followed up with vendors to project manage the whole process. Our wedding was quite unique as it was a 4-day extravaganza with the wedding day on our private family ranch estate. Gemini was able to anticipate all of our needs and plan a wedding at a venue they had never hosted an event at, which they did with ease (we had over 200 staff members/vendors with a 7 day set-up time that they had to coordinate with everything from bringing in bathrooms to building a tent from scratch to wiring audio on a floating island). The day of the wedding, Meridith was extremely calm & collected and was able to run an entire team with extreme precision. Throughout the process, Jennifer always had our back and was consistently problem solving. The whole time they always led with love, provided creative solutions, and supported us in our vision for our wedding day. As we are wedding venue owners ourselves (Chasing Rabbits in Vail) we understand what it takes to put on an event, and Gemini consistently exceeded the bar as far as event planning. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND choosing Gemini for any wedding in the mountains!

From the moment we spoke with Meridith we knew she was the right person to take on our somewhat non-traditional wedding celebration. Meridith was excited and eager to take on our wedding, where as other planners we had interviewed did not seem as interested in accommodating our vision. Meredith and Gemini provided an incredible list of vendors but were also open to reaching out to new vendors for us as well. When our initial venue did not work out, Meridith listened to our ideas and found us a venue that was even better than we could have imagined. During the planning process Meridith was very organized, had excellent communication, and provided a timeline that made the planning process seamless. Not only did we love working with Meridith but it was very apparent that all of our vendors did as well. There were several times during our site visits and tastings where various industry people would see her and rush over to say hello and sing her praises. Our wedding celebration was everything we had envisioned and more. The week was absolutely perfect and we are still on a high from what transpired. Jeni is AMAZING! 30 seconds into our initial phone call, I knew my search for a wedding planner was over! She immediately put me at ease, had a plan of action, and went above and beyond to be able to work with us on a popular wedding weekend. Where do I even begin with this review?! I could go on and on for days because Jeni is the BEST. From the moment I liked her Instagram post back in December 2020 (within days after my now husband proposed) to the moment we hugged the last guest at our wedding in July 2022, Jeni and her team were there to help and support us in the craziness called wedding planning. She was so very detailed and helpful every step of the way. I was even able to start a new job and plan my honeymoon at the same time as planning my dream destination wedding all because I had Jeni on my team. She helped build the best vendor dream team to help my vision come to life, and if I ever had to do it again, I would choose Jeni over and over.

Working with Jennifer was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding planning. She is an absolute superstar and not only is she fantastic at her job, but she is genuinely a great person and cares about you beyond the transaction. We knew from the beginning of planning that we were lucky to have Jennifer -- she was responsive, firm with our vendors, on top of everything, and very organized -- but the day-of the wedding, her expertise took on a whole new color when she did SO much behind the scenes to make our day completely blissful and void of any stress. In one particular example, we had a a big vendor's truck break down the day of the wedding (which had our stage, reception chairs and more!) and Jennifer tirelessly AND gracefully worked to resolve the situation, to the point that we didn't even know that this had happened until the DAY AFTER the wedding! That's how you know she is amazing at her job. She really put our experience above all else. We wouldn't have changed a single thing about our wedding, and 3 weeks later are still reminiscing about how perfect it was. We would 100/10 recommend her!

When my fiancé and I decided we wanted to host a destination wedding in Beaver Creek, Colorado I knew we needed a planner to bring our vision to life. We live in Louisville, Kentucky so the planning process from states away seemed overwhelming. After my first conversation with Jennifer, I was immediately put at ease and knew she’d be the perfect person to guide us throughout the year long process. Jennifer has years of experience working in the area and has cultivated strong relationships with world renowned vendors. For instance, she convinced us to book Denver’s Soul X Band for our live music entertainment. Where do we even begin! I am not sure how to put into words a proper thank you for Jennifer and her team. They absolutely blew us away with their organization, responsiveness, thoughtfulness, work ethic, and knowledge on EVERYTHING wedding. . We have to brag that they pulled off a nearly impossible wedding. And outdoor ceremony in the middle of winter at the base of the gondola with a reception at the top of the gondola in a venue offered only in the summer. NOT ONE SINGLE thing went wrong. Jeni has been absolutely amazing from the day I reached out to her on Instagram 18 months ago until our wedding day. She was extremely helpful in focusing on the things that will be remembered and would leave a lasting impression! We had so many events Thursday-Sunday for our wedding ranging from a Family BBQ, Bridal Party Turtle Tubing, a Golf Tournament, intimate rehearsal dinner and large welcome party at BOL and of course the EPIC wedding day. Jeni was able to provide support throughout the weekend. Our guests were left with an unforgettable weakened, unique to Vail and to us. Although we were faced with some hurdles, the wedding day was magical. After 18th months of planning, I was able to sit back and watch all of our design boards, phone calls, shared docs come alive knowing that Jeni was there to coordinate it all. All I had to do was enjoy the day with the people that mean the most to me. When the ceremony time came...it was pouring rain (and yes, it was outside at the 10th)!! I trusted Jeni to do what she thought was best and she switched the cocktail hour and the ceremony seamlessly. Guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers and then we started the ceremony when the rain calmed down. I stepped out with my dad and the sun came out. It was a magical moment and the pictures were amazing. Jeni became a friend throughout the whole planning process and it has been so inspiring to watch her handle all her COVID brides and turn some scary times into the most memorable and special moments. Her tireless work ethic and ability to keep everyone calm throughout COVID rescheduling is unmatched. Jeni helped us create our dream wedding after 2 years of anticipation. I worked with Jennifer from Gemini Event Planning and she was AMAZING!!! She helped me plan my August 2020 wedding in Vail (wedding planning is always stressful im sure,but 2020 Definitely tested us all in ways it never has before) and trust me when I say it would have been impossible to do without her. My family has a lot of different contact points and she was great at including everyone and knowing who to go to in different situations. She became like a sister to me from the moment I met her. She’s more than a wedding planner, and probably a lifetime friend! She has such a calming presence and I knew she always had everything under control. She made it clear that she supported whatever We decided to do regarding our 2020 wedding and she laid out all the options. We could downsize, postpone for another year, or cancel and elope. She made it clear that she was there for us no matter what we decided! We ended up keeping our original date and just significantly decreasing the size of our wedding. Jeni was so helpful through the whole process, and trust me it wasn’t easy! 8 weeks before the wedding she contacted all of our vendors to discuss the changes to our wedding (which was basically 100% planned for 250-300 people, which obviously we couldn’t do anymore.). We were changing things up until the day of the wedding such as downsizing our entire event, building a custom plexiglass stage to make it safe to have a band, meeting social distancing requirements, and ultimately hosting an event that was safe for both our guests and our vendors. She answered countless phone calls and always reminded me that the wedding was about my new husband and I—and it would be perfect no matter what. She was completely correct. The day may not have been what we originally planned over the past year, but it was better than I ever could have imagined and that is all thanks to Jeni! She really made my vision come to life, even though it had to be at a smaller scale. The day of the wedding and the entire week leading up was executed flawlessly. Jeni had the wedding day scheduled down to the minute, so I really could just enjoy the day and not have to worry about anything!! As mother of the bride living across the country from the Vail wedding destination our daughter and her fiancé had chosen... it seemed like it would be somewhat overwhelming to say the least. With both of them having very demanding work schedules, I knew I was going to be making several of the decisions over the next 11 months, and I needed the best! Vail has a very special place in their hearts and my now son-in-law proposed on top of the mountain. While there, we looked at just about every venue, choosing the Sonnenalp. Jeni’s name was at the top of the list. After talking to her on a group call, my daughter and I knew she was the one. Taking the time to get to know them, she instantly feels like family. We hired her for "month of" but 11 months out she was always available by text or email. She also set up 4 one hour group phone calls throughout the planning. Just to check in. From the very beginning of our planning process to the very end, Jeni from Gemini Event Planning was instrumental in helping us hire all vendors. She kept in communication with them throughout the months of planning, taking over all contact with them the weeks leading up to the wedding. I was the first to meet her in person, 7 months before the wedding and I was met with the biggest hug and even bigger smile. We had 12 people getting hair and makeup done and she made sure everyone stayed within our schedule but never stressed any of us out. Of course Jeni had everything planned down to the minute, and had emailed us a detailed schedule, but the day of the wedding we were able to forget about the timeline completely and trust in her. Seriously, we never felt ANY pressure. Jeni is calm, respectful, professional, patient, organized, pays attention to detail and encourages every dream and idea our daughter, Sidney had...all with a smile. Stating "we can make that happen, this is your day". She fine-tuned the Big Day; it flowed perfectly even with some pretty significant last minute changes to guest count, reception seating and hair and makeup for so many people. Having a February 1 , we wanted everyone to enjoy all of the things Vail had to offer. The week of, Jeni took charge of all tasks, allowing the entire family to enjoy Vail, skiing, family and friends. A dream of the groom, the grooms father, and father of the bride was to ski the morning of the wedding which was starting at 3:30 PM. Everything had been turned over to Jeni, so we all got to do what we wanted and we all had fun! They skied (in helmets, VERY carefully!!) for at least two hours while us ladies were getting ready. We could not have made it through the wedding and everything leading up to that day without Jeni and Gemini Planning. This perfect wedding was more than our greatest expectations. One month later, we are still pinching ourselves on how perfect it was. I can honestly say, we enjoyed every minute. Jeni not only was my wedding planner but became a big sister. I met Jeni over FaceTime while I was living in Australia. We immediately clicked and I trusted her endlessly with the biggest day of my life. She was available all the time, which was hard because I was living across the world, but she made it so easy. I don’t even know how to begin. I met Jeni 14 months before my wedding date of Sept 15, 2018. From the first conversation on she was amazing. Extremely organized, on top of everything. Through the months that preceded the wedding, my now husband and I grew closer to her. Her vibrant energy and dedication to the service that she provides. If you ask any vendor in the Vail Valley, they will tell you how much they enjoy working with her. 5 weeks before our wedding I was in a horrific car accident that left me i the hospital for 21 days. Since she had worked so closely with us in the previous months, she had a handle on what it was that we would love. Although I went down the isle in a wheelchair, the venue, Allie’s Cabin, was like a fairy tale! All I could do was look around in awe how beautiful it was and every detail from decoration to food to music was perfect. I couldn’t have done a better or probably couldn’t have even done such a wonderful job taking care of the finishing touches myself. Words cannot describe how amazing Gemini planning is. Over the course of five minutes from meeting Jeni, she transitioned from my wedding planner to my best friend. She was available at all hours of the day for over a year for truly anything we needed. We had a vision for our wedding that we couldn’t articulate but she somehow knew exactly what we were envisioning. Jeni found us the best vendors that executed exactly what we wanted. Our wedding day went seamless and was more than we could have ever dreamed of because of her. If I could give one piece of advice to a couple planning their wedding, it is to have her be a part of it!

I, like most people who get married in Colorado, had a destination wedding in Vail. When we originally went out to Vail to check out some venues, it was actually the people at the hotel, multiple venues, and Vail staff that recommended her to us. So not only is she loved by her clients, but the people who work with her love her as well! Planning a wedding is A LOT of work and I would not have been able to do this without Jeni! Our wedding day was literally perfect, no hiccups! My bridesmaids and even photographers were shocked at how wonderfully the day flowed. I never felt stressed or overwhelmed (which is unlike me!). She planned everything so well. And throughout the planning process she really was great to work with. Her attitude and personality made our phone meetings so easy and enjoyable. And she's actually cool, which goes a long way with someone who you regularly communicate with to plan your wedding. Because she was a Colorado local, she was able to save us money in a lot of areas too, which was a nice bonus! She kept everything very organized throughout the process. She was also very easy to communicate with. Whenever I would think of something or had any questions (which was pretty often), I would text or call her and she would get back to me very quickly. Planning a wedding from afar can also be difficult when trying to go over the design aspects of your wedding (choosing bits and pieces of just part of a photo and trying to explain and just hope she gets what the heck I am saying), but she managed to turn my vision into a reality! She had great suggestions and was honest with what would be best for the space. I would give anything to relive our wedding day, it really was the BEST, and I think Jeni is the main reason that I feel that way!! She nailed it. CHOOSE HER AS YOUR PLANNER!!

When we met Jennifer Pletcher we immediately recognized that she was extremely knowledgeable about all it takes to plan a wedding and has deep connections to any vendors that you could ever need. She started contacting people on our behalf at our first meeting, before we even hired her. She made the whole process very easy and was always available whenever we needed. Aside from being an expert in her field, Jeni is also a wonderful person and made every interaction a pleasure. It was evident to me how valuable she was throughout the planning process, on the creative side, the organization side and the execution side. My husband was less involved with the details, so I don't think this was as clear to him until the day of our wedding when he everything that was going on at a once, how she managed the execution, and that she had our backs no matter what. Going in to the day, we knew Jeni had every single detail organized and ready to execute on. But there are so many things that happen on your wedding day that you don't anticipate, and Jeni was there to manage all of those. Like our backup plans had backup plans. My husband and I got stuck on the mountain during our first look due to rain and the ceremony was delayed an hour plus - this is a situation that could stress out any human being. We felt none of that because we knew Jeni had our backs and would help execute our vision no matter what. Literally every detail in human control was planned and executed perfectly by Jeni and the team we assembled, and she mitigated the impact of those events that were out of our control so we were able to enjoy every moment of our wedding day. Seeing everything that Jeni and I had envisioned and planned together over the course of a year come together in real life, on the day I was marrying my love, was one of the most emotional experiences I've ever had. I can't imagine doing it without Jeni by my side, and I can't recommend her enthusiastically enough to do her justice.

My oh my where do i begin, the first time I met Jeni for a potential coordinator our meeting went from talking about the wedding and then actually planning the wedding, she had a lot of great ideas from the start and was so sweet and friendly.
