w-stress. We placed our suit order 3 months in advance and after placing the order, we realized we ordered the wrong colored vest. I submitted a request to change the vest color from Tan to Blush, and I received email confirmation that our order was updated. 2 weeks before our wedding, we received the suit and it included the wrong color vest on top of every part of the suit needing size adjustments. I sent a detailed email specifying all the changes that needed to be made and all in all, 6 items needed to be swapped out, including the vest as we never received the correct color. A customer service rep responded asking for clarification on 3 of those items, so I answered all her questions. After receiving the 2nd round of suit items four days before the wedding, it seems that they only addressed the 3 items that they asked clarification on and completely disregarded my original email where I had requested for the 6 items to be swapped out. We still did not receive the correct color vest. Via PHONE CONVERSATION, I sent one final request including the vest color be changed (and communicated that the size we received was perfect). With 1.5 days before the wedding, we received our final round of suit items and they finally sent the correct color vest, BUT IN A DIFFERENT AND INCORRECT SIZE. All other concerns were addressed. We ended up using the Tan vest because that one fit best and we never got to use the Blush vest we had been requesting from the beginning. At the end of the day, we didn't want to stress the small stuff because we knew having a wedding would bring hiccups that are out of our control. However, I am very disappointed in the experience I had with Generation Tux.

For our bridal party, the reorder process was highly successful, allowing most members to get the perfect size quickly.
However, we did encounter a small challenge with the reorder sizing for the groom's pants. When asking to size down, we had to request a different size two extra times because the initial adjustments went two sizes down instead one size, which resulted in pants that were too small. While this was ultimately resolved by the helpful staff, it required extra back-and-forth.
The staff was always easy to communicate with and very helpful when addressing our questions and correcting this issue. We still highly recommend Generation Tux, but advise future customers to be very specific and communicate quickly to ensure you receive your adjusted sizing quickly!

Be careful when ordering the brown shoes because they are different colors even though when you call the people will say they only have one option for brown. I was told it’s the chemicals they clean them with. It was frustrating having to call and make sure all the guys were sent the brown shoes with the dark toe. And not to mention my brother was sent 2 different shades as a pair (one was dark toe, the other lighter brown)!
Their algorithm for sizing wasn’t very accurate unless your man is slender built. I can’t say I would recommend this company to any of my friends getting married.
I will say they were quick with their responses and shipping didn’t take long. But at the same time, it’s one more thing to stress about 1-2 weeks before the wedding if not everything fits right.

s arrived late — the groom’s suit came only days before the wedding despite being promised weeks in advance, and the groomsmen’s suits showed up just two days before the ceremony. Several were the wrong sizes, with no options to exchange or correct them, leaving us scrambling right before the wedding.
We had to spend extra money to have the suits professionally pressed and to purchase undershirts and shoes ourselves. One groomsman’s shoes even arrived in such poor condition that they were creased and folding from overuse.
To make matters worse, we were informed that the child sizes we had ordered were not available, forcing us to cancel the kids’ suits entirely — and Generation Tux even attempted to charge a restocking fee for a cancellation that wasn’t our fault. We then had to frantically purchase new suits for the children, again just days before the wedding, which unfortunately did not match the rest of the wedding party. One of the children’s suits that did arrive was a men’s size that had been cut down, leaving it poorly proportioned and unwearable.
Overall, the suits that did arrive were wrinkled, ill-fitting, and the quality was disappointing, especially considering the price and the significance of the event. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, and we trusted Generation Tux to make this part easy — unfortunately, it was the opposite. Everything we were told and promised simply did not happen.
I wouldn’t recommend Generation Tux for weddings or any special occasion where timing, fit, and presentation truly matter.

ed his two favorites and they were both shipped to our house for him to try on. He tried brown suit and a black tux before deciding on the tux. He did have a sizing issue that they quickly addressed (needed a larger shirt for the neck to fit comfortably). The final tux was shipped to our house about a week before our wedding date so he was able to try it on and confirm everything was correct before the big day. We had no issues with Generation Tux and it was truly a seamless process for us! I’d highly recommend them for your next event!

One of our groomsmen didn’t get his jacket until after the wedding. He had to pay $200 to rush tailor the wrong jacket they sent, and all Generation Tux offered was a $50 credit. My husband, expecting his own replacement suit would also be late (based on their track record), went ahead and had his tailored as well — another $450. They refused to reimburse him, saying he “shouldn’t have tailored it,” even though at that point we had no reason to trust their promises.
In the weeks leading up to our wedding, we faced constant issues: duplicate charges, confusing and incorrect emails, missed deliveries, and over 10 customer service calls. Every time, we were told things were fixed, but the same problems kept happening. For some strange reason, they won't send your suit more than 1-2 weeks before the event, which leaves them essentially zero room for errors - and they made SO MANY ERRORS... it was breathtaking in scope and incompetence.
While they eventually refunded half the suits, they still charged late fees — even on tuxes that arrived after the wedding was over. When we asked for either a full refund or at least an extension to avoid late fees, they flat-out refused. When we said we’d have to share our experience publicly to warn others, their supervisor literally replied, “ok, that’s your right.” That response told us everything we needed to know about how little they care about customer experience.
Weddings are high-stakes, once-in-a-lifetime events. A vendor that builds its brand on relieving stress should do everything possible to make things right when they fail. Instead, Generation Tux doubled down on policies, refused to take ownership, and left us feeling dismissed and penalized.
I cannot recommend them to any couple. Stay away!

Plus the rentals are some of the most expensive on the market, which is fine but you expect a certain quality of suit. Again, unfortunately the suits a paper thin and uncomfortable. I seriously could have bought and tailored a suit for less than the rental and it would have been about the same quality. Seriously, just go with Men’s Warehouse.

r wedding AND my now husband)…and then SIX months after returning the tux that had threads hanging off, a button that fell off right before walking down the aisle and overall was just sloppy looking, they claimed that the jacket was not returned and are charging us $600. When trying to call the company to discuss this issue they refuse to talk on the phone about it stating that the “department that deals with this doesn’t have a phone number” and when trying to sign in to my account that had the tracking number, they deleted all the information about the tux and it being returned. I repeat DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
P.S. Their social media comments are full of stories just like mine so they have a track record.

cost is much more expensive than when I rented from MW Tux. Many people in the wedding party had sizing issues and although it was taken care of, it really is a hassle having to use the company's "smart" sizing when it would be easier to just input our sizes so we do not have to worry and go through the hassle of contacting the company. The suits, ties and especially the shirts arrive folded in a box and are wrinkled. So be sure you have a steamer for the suit and tie and an iron for the shirt. The tie I received was really short on me. Glad the vest covered the short length. Some of the shirts I also noticed had light colored stains on them. It is much easier going to a physical location (that has a nationwide chain) where they can size you rather than dealing online. Maybe one day they will get this right but Generation Tux just isn't there yet. Also, I noticed that there are a lot of fake reviews online for this company or at the very least they just sift out the bad ones and use the better ones. Beware of this company!

I answered a handful of questions online, and then about 2-weeks before the wedding, Generation Tux sent a perfectly fitting suit to my house. It wasn't just my suit that fit perfectly, all of the groomsmen had the same experience. In addition, their customer service is phenomenal. I had a question and I used the messaging feature on Generation Tux's website, and within 2-minutes I was speaking with Bayley (who I presume is a customer service representative), and she answered all of my questions and was very friendly. This was on a Sunday afternoon, so I honestly wasn't expecting to have an answer until Monday morning.

The first time I used them I answered a few questions about my body type and sent some pictures and they sent me my suit with plenty of time before the event to try on. The suit jacket was a little big so I called them up and asked for a smaller jacket. Two days later the jacket showed up and it was a perfect fit. Once the event was over, I put everything back in the box, applied the prepaid shipping label, and dropped it off at my local Kinkos/FedEx. Couldn't be easier.
The second time I used them, they still had my measurements on file and shipped my suit right away. The suit arrived with plenty of time to try and get changes, but it fit perfectly the first time and the return process was even easier since they use UPS for the return shipment instead of FedEx. The suit and shoes arrived clean, pressed, and ready to go. The Men's Warehouse made a mistake dismissing George Zimmer and I'm glad he was able to revolutionize the suit rental industry.

not on hold like at all and was able to speak to a human person. They have such hospitality and care for their customers. They can text you to make things easier! And when a particular person cannot respond another person will text back to maintain contact. I had so many questions as a bride, and I felt silly making an account for my fiance at the time but learned that many brides to the same thing! We made NO mistake choosing this company for everything they did. My dad was not used to an online rental company and still put in his regular measurements over the phone which they were so gracious to record. As long as your info was in the system, they could find you within a minute instead of having to maintain a certain reservation ID and share it with the whole bridal party. I love love love this company. I was so hesitant on going with an online rental company (I even compared this one to like 3 other online companies) I love the quality of their fabric most of all and customer service. I wish I could write more about this company without rambling but honestly, go with this company.
They allow a home try-on for the groom and when you have X amount of groomsmen, the groom is free! They will give you all the materials you need, great quality and good rates.

We tried Generation Tux with the At Home Try On, and we were so pleased. We had also tried another online company, and despite putting in my husband's measurements that suit was ill-fitting, but GenTux's suit was a perfect fit! Our groomsmen were located all over the country, so I was concerned about them only being able to try their suits on the day before the wedding (like most national retailers offer). I LOVED how with GenTux everyone would get their suits 2 weeks in advance so there would be plenty of time to fix any issues if we had them. They also had great customer service throughout the entire process.
The only thing I didn't love was their choice of brown shoes as they were noticeably wing-tipped...almost in an ombre style. We ended up having the guys buy their own shoes, but if they had a more traditional brown style we would have rented through them for shoes too.

They did an amazing job with the fitting to my suit so I didn't need any alterations, but when one of the other groomsmen needed an alteration close to the wedding date, he sent it back and had it corrected in no time. I highly recommend Generation Tux to anybody that wants to worry about one less thing for their wedding.

weeks before. There are step-by-step pictures to guide you in taking your measurements that make the process incredibly simple. The customer service representatives are always delightful. Simply mail your suits back within three days of your wedding. So, so simple and wonderful!
