The absolute best place to have a wedding in New Orleans in my opinion.
When I tell you, not 1 complaint about them... nothing. They were soo incredible to work with. Tsana was the rep we had, and she was GREAT! The venue is so incredibly professional, attentive and just fun to work with. Tsana's response time was always so quick. There really wasn't anything they couldn't or weren't willing to accommodate.
The night of the event went perfectly! All night, the staff was so friendly and a pleasure to be around. It made the night so much more fun. They were attentive to the bride and groom, made sure we had help coming down the stairs.
Even the clean up after was so professional, quick and easy.
15/10, would recommend this venue and staff!
I can't say enough good things about this venue. If you're looking to have a fun wedding, definitely choose them.
Generations Hall were beyond amazing! They went above and beyond for us and literally made our wedding amazing!!! Especially Brian and Tsana! We can never say thank you enough to them! This is the place you want your wedding! It was everything we wanted and so much more. Never wanted the night to end!!! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!
I'm a little late posting this probably because I'm still in denial that it's over. On November 5 we held my daughter's wedding reception at Generations Hall. I cannot possibly say enough great things about this venue. Every possible aspect of it was perfect. Brian Bonura and Tsana Demmas are absolutely the best. I challenge you to find a better team anywhere. The staff, the bartenders, the management, the owners all come together to offer a top notch experience. If you are looking for a true Nola venue and all that comes with it, this is you place. Thanks all of you for making such a special memory for my family that we will cherish forever.
I recently had my wedding and reception at Generations Hall. Lyle is the manager there and everything could not have gone better. The venue is awesome and can handle smaller or larger groups, has audio/video capabilities, a DJ, lighting options, a stage, several bars, and is centrally located in the warehouse district of downtown New Orleans. Lyle was so accommodating and made everything so easy! I highly recommend this venue for any kind of event and be sure to ask for Lyle; you won't be disappointed!
This is the absolute best venue to have your wedding ceremony and reception. Working with Lyle was amazing and he made sure that we had everything we needed and were taken care of for our big day. I would change absolutely nothing about my wedding and the venue, the staff, and Lyle are the major reasons why. You can tell everyone there loves what they do because the staff are extremely accommodating and great with customer service. The bartenders smiled the entire night and made whatever they were asked to. The DJ had everyone on their feet the entire night and also allowed our guest to request songs. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. The wedding took place a few days ago and our guests are still raving about it being the best wedding they have ever been to. Definitely go check this venue out and talk with Lyle before settling for something else. Everyone also spoke about how calm I was days leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day. That was only possible because of Lyle.
Finding the words to describe just how amazing this place is, is hard to do. The absolute BEST group of people to work with. We got married here over this past weekend. We have been working with Lyle for over a year, long distance, trying to plan the wedding. Lyle has been way more than helpful. Him and his crew were beyond kind and helped every step of the way. The night of the event, Lyle and his crew went above and beyond to ensure our night turned out perfectly. We managed to misplace an item from the wedding that we wanted to keep. Lyle made sure it was found and even mailed it back to us! I genuinely can not express my gratitude enough for everything Lyle and his crew did for us. I definitely recommend to everyone!!
I could not have been more pleased with how our wedding reception at Generations Hall turned out! The planning process was so easy and I loved having so many options for different floor plans and flow. They were very accommodating, letting me view a few weddings ahead of my own so I could decide what would work best. Night of, every detail was covered and the rooms looked beautiful, my family and friends were blown away by the space and the confetti cannons at the end was a huge hit! Also, the location was perfect for our (mostly) out of town guests! I would highly recommend!

My husband and I got married in June and had both the ceremony and reception there and it was absolutely amazing. The interior is so beautiful with the chandeliers, large staircase and the balcony! The staff was so helpful with the planning process. We had no problems the day of; everything went perfectly and we cant thank Generations Hall enough for helping make our special day the best day!
This is the perfect venue for a new Orleans wedding! The staff made sure that my night went off without a hitch and that it was picture perfect. The venue itself is beautiful, and the helpful staff is just an added bonus! They have multiple rooms which made it easy to have the ceremony and reception there. I could not have asked for a better place to get married!
We had our wedding reception here and it was amazing! First off, our guests loved it and kept raving about the venue the whole night. When we first toured it, we were given our answers directly and were shown only what would apply to us. Contact with the staff was prompt and always helpful! They worked with us and gave great suggestions for floor plan, decorations, and timeline for the night. When we showed up after our ceremony, we didn't have to worry about anything the whole night. Drinks and food were brought to us the whole night and the staff frequently asked if we needed anything else. Hector orchestrated everything and made sure that everything went off without a hitch. Because of his help, we were able to just enjoy our reception and our guests' company. This place was incredible and really set the mood for our whole reception. Everyone had a wonderful night because of the service of the staff and the vibe of the venue. I highly recommend using this beautiful space for your wedding!
Generations hall was the perfect wedding reception venue for my husband and I. Everything was well organized and beautiful. We didn't have an official wedding planner so I was a little worried, but Hector made sure everything happened at the right time and made sure we were fed and had drinks throughout the night since we were constantly being pulled in different directions. All the guests were raving about how great the venue was and how easy it was for them to get food and drinks. Would highly recommend! We only have great things to say!

For a year of planning I could always reach Hector if I had a question. Not only was he responsive but he was friendly and actually helpful.
Wedding day went off without a hitch. The entire staff was professional and helpful. And the DJ managed to get my grandmother dancing all night which was so fun to see.
Not only is the staff amazing, but the venue itself is gorgeous. The customer service at Generations Hall alone is enough I warrant 5 stars, but the beautiful venue is an extra added bonus. GO INSIDE!!! I promise the pictures don’t do it justice. The atmosphere is perfect for a fun New Orleans wedding and/ or reception. The chandeliers, staircase and exposed brick walls are simply beautiful.

With two stories and multiple rooms, rest assured your guests will never feel cramped for your special event. They even have a wide variety of catering options available to help you stress less throughout your planning. Each room has multiple bars to guarantee guests never go thirsty. I HIGHLY recommend this venue for any kind of event you can possibly imagine. After all, that's why I had my own wedding there.
BEST ADVICE: MUST QUOTE AND WALK BEFORE MAKING YOUR DECISION!! This venue is top notch. Let me explain. New Orleans has some difficult parking. This venue is less than 5 minutes from the I-10, and offers valet parking (additional, of course), but its there and it saves so much time and head- ache when dealing with the city. Internally; They have renovated the inside and its nothing like the metro I knew growing up. The feel and the atmosphere is put together very nicely. Its not to bar-ie or club-ie. Not to big or small. Classy but elegant. Some rustic. In the main room, they have two small mini rooms on each side that worked perfectly for the cake room and the photo booth!! The dance floor and band/dj area is perfect. (They have an in-house dj if need be). They have an upstairs area available with a balcony that looks down over the whole lower room. You can bring in any vender you want. Your not stuck with whatever the venue provides. They can give u recommendation if necessary. They have a stair way to walk down. You have two other rooms to choose from, depending on the size of your wedding guest count. They have a court yard that leads into the venue. They share it with a hotel which is perfect for the out-of-towners. The lighting is phenomenal, the TV's are perfect. The dance floor was lit up. The staff was cool and calm. The owners will go above and beyond to make your day/night special. Just ask. The price is worth looking into. This venue should be on your list to quote and go see. My wife and all of the guest raved about this venue months later. I don't regret this choice at all, but have some with the vendors. Hope this helps. Ps. They served Voss water!!
